Is Mr. Trump a Conservative through and through, who knows but him. I do know that after all these miserable heartbreaking years with Obama, living out his Marxist dreams,  this country needs a strong man at the helm, a man beholding to nobody. We need a man that can look in the face of the terrorists and spit in their eye. We need a man that recognizes how desperately weak this country has become and knows what to do to rectify it. I like how he brings up Gen. Patton, one of the greatest Generals ever and says that’s what we need, not the milksops we hear and see now. I like what he wants to do for the veterans, how he is going to finally have the southern wall built and Mexico pay for it. I like how he plans to bring our manufacturing businesses back, I like how finally there is a man that believes in America first. He is pro 2^nd. Amendment. What the hell are we looking for in a President if not someone especially like Mr. Trump? Is he a Conservative? He is the man we need so great feats can be accomplished and we have a country again. My hope is for BHO to be impeached and indicted along with Hillary, no two have ever deserved it more.

Many people are holding Sarah Palin’s approval and endorsement for Mr. Trump against her, that she should have instead endorsed Mr. Cruz. I have nothing against Cruz and I commend him for that which he has previously done, I just believe, in my heart, that Mr. Trump is the man we need for the job at this time.

So it begs the question; why??

Yes Sarah is a strong Conservative. Yes she has the ability to be a great first lady president and, yes she is backing Mr. Trump. So am I and countless others nation wide.

I say it’s well past the time to vote for and back who’s best for the country instead of a particular political party.

Look what happened last election, look at all the Republicans voted into office. Why? The people expected them to keep their campaign promises and block Obama’s onslaught against the country, to repeal Obama Care – the so-called Affordable Care Act, shoved down every American’s throat. Everyone made to purchase something the government told us to, walking all over our rights as citizens. Look at how easy the budget bill passed and everything in-between. Look at the surge of Muslims B Hussein O has opened the door for and nothing is known of them except to see how many are of fighting age, yet they are not fighting for their country over there, no, they are here. The Republicans elected to impeach and indict Obama and make an example out of him have done NOTHING.

Mr. Trump offers light at the end of the tunnel; he offers hope again for that shining city on a hill. He is unencumbered by those who would try to pull his strings.

Yes, I expect the cost to rebuild what Obama et al have destroyed, over the years, to be high; you can’t destroy and not expect a cost to rebuild.

Mr. Trump offers strength of leadership and is known around the world. What a difference from the last seven putrid, embarrassing and humiliating years.

What’s up with the participation level on this site, it’s approximately 99.9% zero. With all the crap going on this country; with the administration; the upcoming election; the state and local elections happening in some areas; the debt that the republicans helped the dem’s to increase; the goings on in the Middle East; the growing problems facing Israel; Russia shaking hands with Iran; the Republican Party lying to get elected then siding with Obama and the rest of the socialist that lied through their teeth to get elected, and never kept a single promise, hell the list just keeps going, and except for those showing enough interest to bring something up to be posted the participation of people who are supposed to be concerned, innovated and patriotic is practically nil.

There are actually people that have no feeling one way or the other about the massive immigration problem we are facing. They are pouring in from our borders, there are multiple thousands coming in, being invited in from the Middle East that hate the air we breathe. They are taught from childhood that we are the great satan. They aren’t coming here to assimilate, you read of large groups of them corralling together in different parts of the country. How can our heritage not be affected? They are not coming here to help this country, to work, to be good and loyal Americans. Our collective ignorance is destroying our children’s and this country’s future.

I was pondering over a question concerning this upcoming presidential election. For those who have children or young relatives, would you leave them in the care and control of just anybody? Would you place their care in the hands of someone who wouldn’t pay attention, be responsible and protect them? NO, of course you wouldn’t.

Well here we are prognosticating the future and what it will be like, some thinking along the lines of gender, some skin color, as though either of those are qualifiers. Some thinking along the lines of socialism, they want to flush what has provided them with their daily bread and that includes God. Some have blinders on and refuse to see the bloodthirsty enemy waiting for the right moment to pounce. Then there are others who are profoundly concerned about the welfare of this country, our way of life, our rule of law, our Constitution and its Bill of Rights, our unique history, and they want it preserved. They want to achieve what President Reagan envisioned. They want this country to be all it can possibly be, they want the children to have a rich heritage, a legacy to build upon. They refuse to allow the take over as a police state.

So back to my first question, with our nightmarish and enlarging debt, the dogs barking at our door, the world wide threats that surround us, will you be willing to elect someone, simply because of race or gender, who’s responsibility it is to hold this country on a straight and steady course upwards, or someone with whom you can feel a sense of security, of determination, of the intestinal fortitude to say what he means and do as he says, looking the enemy, either domestic or otherwise, square in the eye? With whom will you entrust the future of this country and our children?

Try as I might I can’t resist asking about this. I read in The Hill an article about Ben Carson and just couldn’t believe what was written.

Ben Carson, Ben Carson, what is it with this milquetoast guy that is so enthralling? Please someone explain. This guy reeks of timidity and hesitancy. We have all heard him speak, now picture him up against a man like Putin, the dictator of North Korea, the blood thirsty Islamists, and on and on, they will eat him alive. We have had two unnecessary terms of a half black Marxist because of a gutless Congress, and people are actually entertaining the idea of electing a wimp like individual like Carson? Do people actually want a man that appears to be as gentle as baby’s breath to take Obama’s place, so the socialistic Congress can have their way with him, and we the people are left, once again, holding the bag?

When have these issues all been laid out to be answered by either the democrats or republicans? The media is a joke, those in charge of presidential debates are so far bent to the left I don’t know how they manage to walk straight. There is this and a whole host more, like the alienation of Israel, the elimination of Obamacare, the stupidity or deliberate intent of the Iran treaty and all people care to talk about is what a nice guy Ben Carson is???? Hell John McCain said that about Obama during their campaign, he said if elected he was sure that he, Obama, would make a fine president.

Well here we are again, this country’s future, our children’s future, their heritage, their legacy is on the line and the voters are asleep at the switch, again.

I want a man with some cojones at the helm, a man that loves and respects this country, our Constitution, our way of life. I want a man that will start us back on the road to recovery and respect in the world, yes, you guessed it, I’m for Mr. Trump.

Politicians are good at one thing,

telling people what they want to hear and smearing on the honey so as to get elected. They aren’t that good for anything else. Case in point, those elected to Congress last election to kill Obamacare and impeach and indict Obama, they did absolutely nothing. They seduce enough people into falling for their snake oil, get elected and do absolutely nothing to help this country or even attempt to live up to their promises, they are good at the rhetoric, they get their seat, their benefits and they relax, the hard work is over. Yes I like Mr. Trump, a great many people do. He is very successful , he’s respected everywhere and has what it takes to put the brakes on our downward decline, and start the process to return us to what we were meant to be. No one can ever accuse him of being timid, and he could hold his own very nicely against the throat cutters in this world who want our and Israel’s demise. He is the kind of man we need now.

It’s a bill that will accomplish the goals of those who want to restrict the Second Amendment all in the name of “safety.” Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) introduced for the second time her Firearm Risk Protection Act, legislation that would require anyone buying a gun to have liability insurance. If a purchaser were found to be buying without insurance, they would be slapped with a $10,000 fine. First, such a bill would raise the cost of exercising a constitutional right, making it that much harder for the poor to defend themselves. Second, requiring insurance creates a larger paper trail for those who want to track the sale of firearms. “We require insurance to own a car, but no such requirement exists for guns,” Maloney said in a statement. “The results are clear: car fatalities have declined by 25 percent in the last decade, but gun fatalities continue to rise.” We’re not so sure insurance caused that reduction. If so, then let’s pile on the health insurance! Don’t want to get heart disease or cancer. Furthermore, this bill is not about preparing for a catastrophic event — say a citizen needs to cover legal expenses if he or she is sued for using a gun in self-defense. This bill is about burdening lawful gun ownership.

It is axiomatic that the democrats are a far, far left hopeless cause.

The Republican party, in spite of Speaker John Boehner’s past record, shrugged it off and voted him in again for a third term as Speaker.

The republicans will not enforce closing our borders, will not enforce the gathering and deportation of all the illegals, somewhere along the way they forgot what the word illegal means. They will not make positive moves ensuring the Keystone Pipeline from Canada. They will not hold BHO accountable for sidestepping Congress and doing anything he pleases by executive order whenever he feels like it. That makes the Republican Party as useless as the democrats.

This country needs a new party, one that honors our Constitution and means what it says and says what it means, one that will undo all the wrongs of Obama, et al and set this country back on track, renew our footing with our allies, rebuild our armed forces so we are once again second to no one ,and bring pride back to this country and sh** can Obamacare.

Do you remember Kate Smith?

Frank Sinatra considered Kate Smith the best singer of her time, and said that when he and a million other guys first heard her sing "God Bless America" on the radio, they all pretended to have dust in their eyes as they wiped away a tear or two.

Here are the facts...

The link at the bottom will take you to a video showing the very first public singing of "GOD BLESS AMERICA". But before you watch it, you should also know the story behind the first public showing of the song.


The time was 1940. America was still in a terrible economic depression. Hitler was taking over Europe and Americans were afraid we'd have to go to war. It was a time of hardship and worry for most Americans.

This was the era just before TV, when radio shows were HUGE, and American families sat around their radios in the evenings, listening to their favorite entertainers, and no entertainer of that era was bigger than Kate Smith.

Kate was also large; plus size, as we now say, and the popular phrase still used today is in deference to her, "It ain't over till the fat lady sings". Kate Smith might not have made it big in the age of TV, but with her voice coming over the radio, she was the biggest star of her time.

Kate was also patriotic. It hurt her to see Americans so depressed and afraid of what the next day would bring. She had hope for America, and faith in her fellow Americans. She wanted to do something to cheer them up, so she went to the famous American song-writer, Irving Berlin (who also wrote "White Christmas") and asked him to write a song that would make Americans feel good again about their country. When she described what she was looking for, he said he had just the song for her.

He went to his files and found a song that he had written, but never published, 22 years before - way back in 1917. He gave it to and she worked on it with her studio orchestra. She and Irving Berlin were not sure how the song would be received by the public, but both agreed they would not take any profits from God Bless America. Any profits would go to the Boy Scouts of America. Over the years, the Boy Scouts have received millions of dollars in royalties from this song.


This video starts out with Kate Smith coming into the radio studio with the orchestra and an audience. She introduces the new song for the very first time, and starts singing. After the first couple verses, with her voice in the background still singing, scenes are shown from the 1940 movie, "You're In The Army Now." At the 4:20 mark of the video you see a young actor in the movie, sitting in an office, reading a paper; it's Ronald Reagan.

To this day, God Bless America stirs our patriotic feelings and pride in our country. Back in 1940, when Kate Smith went looking for a song to raise the spirits of her fellow Americans, I doubt whether she realized just how successful the results would be for her fellow Americans during those years of hardship and worry..... and for many generations of Americans to follow. Now that you know the story of the song, I hope you'll enjoy it and treasure it even more.
