US actions to weaken Syrian govt will empower ISIS – UK consultancyAny attempt to act against the Syrian government will make Islamic State and other terror groups in the country stronger, London-based consultancy IHS Markit said in a recent report, calling such situation an “inconvenient reality” for Washington.

Over the last 11 months, 43 percent of Islamic State (Is, formerly ISIS/ISIL) military actions carried out were against the Syrian government forces of President Bashar Assad, the open-source data gathered by IHS Markit’s Conflict Monitor revealed.

The US-backed “moderate opposition” accounted for 17 percent of IS fighting between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017, with the remaining 40 percent being the jihadists’ skirmishes with rivaling rebel groups.

“It is an inconvenient reality that any US action taken to weaken the Syrian government will inadvertently benefit the Islamic State and other jihadist groups,” Columb Strack, senior Middle East analyst at IHS Markit, said as cited by the company’s website.

Strack described the current state of events in Syria by comparing Assad’s forces “the anvil to the US-led Coalition’s hammer.”

“While US-backed forces surround Raqqa, the Islamic State is engaged in intense fighting with the Syrian government around Palmyra and in other parts of Homs and Deir al-Zour provinces,” he said.

According to the analyst, weakening the Syrian forces, which are already overstretched on a large front, may lead to the jihadists moving from the desert to populated areas in the west of the country, which endangers such cities as Damascus and Homs.

Strack believes that Deir ez-Zor is currently the main strategic goal for Islamic State, as capturing the largest city in eastern Syria would allow the group to gain “a new major population center from which to run the Caliphate” after losing Mosul and Raqqa.

IHS Markit is considered on the leading providers of information, analysis and solution, boasting over 50,000 customers in highest business and political circles

The cycle of abuse is a social cycle theory developed in 1979 by Lenore E. Walker to explain patterns of behavior in an abusive relationship. Walker interviewed 1,500 women who had been subject to domestic violence and found that there was a similar pattern of abuse, called the "cycle of abuse".

Walker also cautions that the length of the cycle usually diminishes over time so that the "reconciliation" and "calm" stages may disappear, violence becomes more intense and the cycles become more frequent.

1: Tension building-During this period, the abuser feels ignored, threatened, annoyed or wronged. To prevent violence, the victim may try to reduce the tension by becoming compliant and nurturing. We see President Obama and the left do this on a daily basis, lest we forget the 'Apology Tour'

2: Acting-out-During this stage the abuser attempts to dominate his partner, with the use of violence. The release of energy reduces the tension, and the abuser may feel or express that the victim "had it coming" to them. Anyone that has read any public boards after the Garland, TX attacks, read the similar comments 'Well, she shouldn't of provoked them'.

3: Reconciliation/honeymoon- The victim feels pain, fear, humiliation, disrespect, confusion, and may wrongly feel responsible. The abuser will often times ignore the event, or offer false apologies.

4: Calm-During this phase, the relationship is relatively calm and peaceable. This stage the enemy regroups and the false sense of rightness prevents separation or intervention. Next few weeks, it will be calm in America, she has earned her day of calm, after appeasing the Muslims.

Walker also cautions that the length of the cycle usually diminishes over time so that the "reconciliation" and "calm" stages may disappear, violence becomes more intense and the cycles become more frequent. But, don't worry. The cycle will start up again over some perceived offense from the muslims.
The point of terrorism is to inspire terror to control people. The point of the Garland, Texas Art contest was to tell the terrorists they are not feared and will not control us. They will kill you whether you draw cartoons or not because they believe you should be killed for not being a Muslim. This isn't about cartoons, it's about world domination of Islam.
Just like an abusive husband will continue to abuse if the wife lets him, Islam will continue to lash out every time they feel offended.  It's time to quit walking around on eggshells like a battered wife, and stand up to the terror that is assaulting America.

"Stand Down" Where Have We Heard That Before?

"Despite a firm denial by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, a senior law enforcement source charges that she gave an order for police to stand down as riots broke out Monday night, raising more questions about whether some of the violence and looting could have been prevented."
Once again chaos, denials and burnt building ensue after a 'Stand Down' order was given. Or not given. Once again we have reports on the ground differing from our leader's statements.
The U.S. House Intelligence Committee’s report on the Benghazi attacks in November stating on Page 20, Paragraph 2: "Although some security officers voiced a greater urgency to depart for the TMF, no officer at the CIA was ever told to stand down. The evidence from eyewitness testimony, ISR video footage, closed-circuit television recordings and other sources provides no support for the allegation that there was any stand-down order. "
However, Deja vu, According to the contractors on the ground: This statement is grossly incorrect. Kris Paronto, CIA security contractor, stated to the committee, looking Rep. Rogers directly in the eye, that he was delayed and was told to wait twice. Paronto also stated that the “27” minute delay and his team waiting was a severe military tactical mistake. The exact words “STAND DOWN” were used by the Chief of Base “Bob” to CIA security contractor, John Tiegen approximately 15 minutes after the initial “help” call from the DS agents on the radio at the facility under attack.
Our leaders were not held accountable during the Benghazi debacle, and it is highly doubtful that the Mayor of Baltimore will be held accountable during the Baltimore debacle.
One of our founders warned us against apathy when holding our leaders accountable.
"A body of men, holding themselves accountable to nobody, ought not to be trusted by anybody." Thomas Paine
And as a great America Icon said, "When you allow unlawful acts to go unpunished, you're moving toward a gov of men rather than a gov of law"- John Wayne.

4064122037?profile=original   On April 23rd in the year of 2015, the President of the United states of America apologized for the death of Warren Weinstein. (Obama takes blame for strike that killed hostages-AFP
This death was not perpetrated by terrorists, but by the United States drone program or what is officially called the Counter Terrorism Program. We can use aesthetically pleasing terms when referring to Warren Weinstein's death such as 'casualty of war', 'friendly fire', 'collateral damage' or 'mistake'. Which is the term President Obama adopted. "It is a cruel and bitter truth that in the fog of war generally and our fight against terrorists specifically, mistakes — sometimes deadly mistakes — can occur. "
President Obama also referred to the 'fog of war'. The biggest problem with this analgy is that we are not at war with Pakistan. So specifically what fog is obscuring our vision? President Obama and his apologists claim we are at 'War with Terror'. That certainly is a very broad statement. This is a Counter Terrorism Program that has no accountibility to anyone, that includes Congress, the American People, the UN or our Allies.
Let's look at the success of this 'Counter Terrorism Program' President Obama has embraced. He has implemented it in the countries of Afghanistan and Iraq and in counterterrorism efforts in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. None of these countries are stable at this time in history, and indeed have become hot bed areas since the drone programs have been implemented.
Summing it all up, President Obama has the United States involved in a Counter Terrorism Program, which he refers to as a War, but has not been approved by congress as a War. He believes his Drone use is permitted by the September 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force Act, which empowered the president to “all necessary and appropriate force” against nations, organizations or persons who planned, committed or aided the Sept. 11 attacks. That generation of terrorists are quickly fading away. His drone use has also been highly unsuccessful. So why are Americans and their Representatives ignoring the failure of this Counter Terrorism program?
Fear. The Republican Congress fears the political backlash of another confrontation with President Obama. The Democratic Congress fears the stigma of fighting amongst themselves, even though they have conducted meetings with President Obama about their concerns. (Democrats Confront Obama On Drone Policy During Closed-Door Gathering With Senators- Huffington Post.
American Citizens just don't want to experience another 9/11 attack and are willing to turn their backs on the questionable 'targeted killings'. Even though they were very vocal on Enhanced Interrigation Techniques, which I find strange because I would certainly prefer to be waterboarded by President Bush than blown up in a drone strike by President Obama.
The United Nations after being silent on the issue during the first few years of President Obama's tenure have now stated that drone strikes may violate international humanitarian and human rights law and could constitute war crimes.
“Drone strikes have been sold to the American public on the claim that they’re ‘precise’. But they are only as precise as the intelligence that feeds them. There is nothing precise about intelligence that results in the deaths of 28 unknown people, including women and children, for every ‘bad guy’ the US goes after,” human rights group Reprieve shared with the Guardian.  That same 'intelligence'  failed Warren Weinstein and his family.
          Warren Weinstein's death should be a wake up call to Americans to examine President Obama's Counter Terrorism Program more closely and ask for a more comprehensive and humane tactic. Let's do more to hold this President accountable who is quoted as saying when referring to his drone attacks that he's "Really good at killing people" ;

The Tug of War for Cuba Begins

4064028843?profile=originalIn the midst of President Obama increasing Sanctions on Russia, he announces a prisoner exchange with Cuba.

While the media has focused on the idealogy of such a bold move by President Obama, they ignore
the current climate of America's relations with Russia.

Russia has been making their presense known in Cuba this past year, as confirmed by the Pentagon
in April. Lt. Col. Tom Crosson, a Pentagon spokesman stated "We are aware that the Russian ships
Viktor Leonov and Nikolay Chiker are currently operating in waters that are beyond U.S. territorial
seas but near Cuba”.

In July of this year, Russia re-opened their signals intelligence facility in Lourdes, south of
Havana which is just 155 miles from America after forgiving 90% of Cuba's unpaid Soviet-era debts,
which totalled $32billion.

Along with the prisoner exchange, President Obama is seeking to establish an Embassy in Havana and
ease sanctions with Cuba.

Right now President Reagan's Star Wars Program is looking pretty good. I just hope we win this
