Recent articles floating around the Internet suggest that there is a conspiracy to prevent you from buying ammunition.  Not only do I not believe it to be true, it seems as though that by perpetuating these rumors, they become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The facts are that the ammunition industry is working overtime to try and meet demand.  The "hoarding" mentality brought on by fear has created a demand that cannot be met with normal production efforts.  This has caused shortages, which have fed the frenzy of irrational buyers, which has created a greater and greater demand.  Naturally, with a huge demand and supplies limited by total production capability, there will be price increases, availability shortages, and some "profiteering" among opportunists.

Everyone, please take a deep breath, give the manufacturers a chance to catch up with their inventories, and prices/availability will normalize.  Our economy is still driven by the free market.  There is a market for ammunition.  There will be ammunition either produced here or imported as long as there's a profit to be made.
I'm not saying you shouldn't be vigilant.  You should stay active with all of the 2nd Amendment groups and continue to hold elected people accountable for their actions.  What I am saying is don't focus on several negative issues to a point of paranoia and "herd mentality".

Hang in there.  We are making a difference.  We are winning; otherwise the politicians and the media wouldn't be trying so hard to discredit and destroy us.

God Bless You All! God Bless America!

It's the end of the primary lead smelter
in Herculaneum (and I feel fine)

(We ran an earlier article on this subject
"Back Door Gun Control Moves Forward", on 11/2/13).

In recent days various news outlets, blogs, and forums have gotten very worked up over the closure of the nation's last primary lead smelter in Herculaneum, Missouri. Many are claiming that this is an attempt of the Obama Administration to implement "backdoor gun control" by destroying the lead used as the primary metal in most bullets and shot used by the ammunition industry.

This is simply untrue.

Despite the hysteria to the contrary, the primary smelter in Herculaneum has almost no direct impact on the U.S. ammunition market. Pure lead, in fact, is not desirable for the creation of ammunition as it is too soft. Pure lead is primarily used in the creation of low-contamination specialty products.

Where does all the lead in the U.S. go? The eggheads at the US. Geological Survey state:

By the early 2000s, the total demand for lead in all types of lead-acid storage batteries represented 88% of apparent U.S. lead consumption. Other significant uses included ammunition (3%), oxides in glass and ceramics (3%), casting metals (2%), and sheet lead (1%). The remainder was consumed in solders, bearing metals, brass and bronze billets, covering for cable, caulking lead, and extruded products.

According to Daniel Hill, Operations Manager at Mayco Industries—"the largest fabricator of lead based products, other than batteries, in the United States" including lead shot and the lead wire used by many bullet manufacturers— roughly validates these numbers. Hill said that least 80% of lead used in the United States secondary market comes from recycled batteries and another 7%-9% of lead on the market comes from other scrap sources. Only 10% of the lead in the U.S. comes from mining.

Translated into plain English, ammunition isn't a primary lead consumer (3%) in the United States, and the majority of the lead used by ammunition manufacturers comes from secondary smelters that recycle lead from car batteries.

Sierra Bullets confirmed earlier this week that they have never used lead from a primary smelter.

Tim Brandt of ATK (Federal Premium, CCI, and Speer ammunition), noted that they had just added this to the top of their frequently asked questions (FAQ).

Q: Does the recent news regarding a major U.S. lead smelter shutting down mean you'll have trouble obtaining lead for manufacturing conventional ammunition?
A: At this time we do not anticipate any additional strain on our ability to obtain lead.

Brad Alpert, President and Operations Manager ofMissouri Bullet Company, was even more blunt, calling fears of a shortage a "tempest in a teapot," stating that the closure of the primary smelter have "no impact" on their production.

David Hargett, CEO of new North Carolina-based ammunition manufacturer Cape Fear Arsenalconsiders the closure of the primary smelter a "non-issue."

In summary, the closure of the Doe Run primary smelter will have little to no impact on the ability of ammunition companies to produce bullets, because they have no direct interest in the consumption of "pure lead" produced by a primary smelter.

The ammunition companies we were able to speak with obtain the lead wire they use in the creation of bullets from secondary smelters and foundries that create lead alloys made from recycled lead from batteries and other scrap sources.

It's the end of the nation's last operating primary lead smelter, but not close to seeing the end of lead ammunition manufactured in the United States, nor are we seeing an attempt at backdoor gun control.

Who Was Antonio West?

I feel certain this will be Rev. Al's next great cause; watch for it on cable TV any day now................

Antonio West ?

Don’t recognize me? That’s OK; I understand.

My name was Antonio West. I was the 13-month old child who was shot in the face at point blank range by two black teens, who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot.
I think my murder and my mommy’s wounding made the news for maybe a day, and then disappeared.
A Grand Jury of my mommy's peers from Brunswick, Georgia ruled the black teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty... too bad it was me who got the death sentence from my killers instead, because Mommy didn’t have the money they demanded.

See, my family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder wasn’t ruled a ‘hate crime’.
Oh, and President Obama didn’t take a single moment to acknowledge my murder. He couldn’t have any children who could possibly look like me - so why should he care?

I’m one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation's history, but the media didn’t care to cover the story of my being killed in cold blood.

There isn’t a white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be branded a ‘racist’. So no one’s rushing to Brunswick, Georgia to demonstrate and demand ‘justice’ for me. There’s no ‘White Panther’ party, either, to put a bounty on the lives of the two black teens who murdered me.
I have no voice, I have no representation, and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life.
Isn’t this a great country?

So while you’re out seeking ‘justice for Trayvon’, please remember to seek ‘justice’ for me. Tell your friends about me, tell your families, get tee-shirts with my face on them, and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon.

I won’t hold my breath.  I don’t have to anymore.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Our President, the Attorney General, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson are falling all over themselves to keep stirring the pot of racial divisiveness.  Why don't they care about this crime?
Oh yeah, Chris Matthews, you don't have to apologize for me.

Birds of a Feather?

My Dad always said that "birds of a feather, flock together", meaning you will be judged by those whose company you keep.

I think we can pretty much agree that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson  are race hustlers.  They appear at any incident they think they can profit from, stir up animosity, and then later disappear.  These two are probably the worst examples of racist hucksters we've seen on a national level.  They are so invested in keeping racism alive in this country that they've become more of the problem not the solution.

Since pictures speak louder than words, look at our "leaders" and their friends.

Friends,

I've been receiving a lot of e-mails lately where the senders are so frustrated and worn down that they talk about giving up.  My response has been, and always will be: HELL NO!  I refuse to give up and refuse to allow our liberties to be taken away.

As I recently told a friend, WE have to become the new "Zealots".  We have to keep the lamp lit, educate others who are either misinformed, ignorant, or so emotionally invested in their politics that they can't see the dangers of tyranny regardless of political party.

Our forefathers understood that for our republic to survive we have to have an educated, well informed electorate.  For the past 100 years, there have been forces insidiously working to re-write history, manipulate our educational curriculum, and effectively dumb down our population.  Couple that with the technology generation that gets their information either in sound bites from the comedy channel or texting and "Twittering", that they know more about the lives of the Kardashian family than they do about our constitution.

To that end, I am sharing some resources that you may find useful.

JPFO has updated a valuable resource document called "Gun Facts".  It is a free PDF download in a couple of different file sizes; one for printing and a smaller file for screen viewing.  I am including both links.  Browse the info and use it to dispel the myths being spread about guns.

You know, this President has allowed pettiness and arrogance to reach record levels.

1.  He invented the "sequester" to provide himself cover during an election year.

2.  He said during the debates that the sequester would not happen.  How he could know that is beyond me, unless he meant he was going to make necessary cuts.

3. Upon re-election, he immediately began beating the drum that it's all the Republicans fault.  Of course, most of the media joined in that fantasy.

4.  When that wasn't working, he began talking about the sky falling if he didn't get his way.  His administration began doing all types of agregious things, like releasing illegal aliens because of "anticipated, future budget cuts.  Then they lied about who authorized the release.

5. Now, he's intentionally trying to make life difficult where it doesn't have to be.  Why?  Because he's acting out the role of the petulant child.  He didn't get his way, so he'll make everyone pay.

What a horse's ass!

See the following article on more evidence to this effect:

We have a President who spends like a drunken sailor (I apologize to all of you current and former drunken sailors for comparing you to him).  He refuses to even consider the fact that the Federal government has grown so huge that it consumes far more than the tax base could ever support--even if we taxed the "rich" at 90%!

That's a fact.  Yet Pelosi, Obama, and the other "progressives" still deny that Washington has a SPENDING PROBLEM!  They actually continue to lie to the American people and decry that we have a revenue problem.  Their solution is class warfare, envy, and a mantra of TAX THE RICH.  Unfortunately, between a complicit press propaganda machine, ignorant "low information voters", the envious, greedy, takers, and the intelligentsia elitists who, for all of their diplomas have no concept of how an economy works, he is winning.

Here's the truth:

This past year, Washington received more tax revenue than any other time in our history!

This past year, Washington SPENT 30% more than they took iin as revenue!

The "sequester" doesn't actually cut, i.e. reduce existing expenditures, at all.  What it does is reduce the future budget increases slightly.  Effectively, the government will spend more next year than they did this year.

And the President has the gall to tell you he'll have to shut down airports, close down critical military missions, stop restraining illegal aliens, etc.!  If you aren't disgusted and mad as hell, then it's too late to help you.  Drink some more Kool Aid, believe the lies of the President and the media, and go lay down.

I recently sent this link out to a number of friends.

I know some of them are very conservative, some are liberal, some are military, some are teachers and college professors.  I expected to hear the whole gamut of comments.  One of the most disturbing is from, an otherwise intelligent, retired college professor, a PhD.

Below is what he said, and my reply.  What do you think?  We had all better prepare ourselves for these conversations.  Our politicians can't agree to fix the tax code, cut spending, or balance a budget; but they rammed through Obamacare and they are building support to ram through their unconstitutional restrictions on gun ownership.

Subject: Re: Breeding Ground for School Shooter

I respect your opinion, but I disagree.

First: the term "assault rifle" is a vague misnomer.  Any rifle can be an assault weapon.  For the military, their "assault rifles" are capable of firing AUTOMATICALLY or in 3 shot bursts.  The civilian versions, while similar in "appearance", have no such capability. The civilian versions operate just like any other semi-automatic rifle.

Second: Our 2nd Amendment, like our 1st, does not have "qualifiers".  In fact it specifically states that it is an unalienable right meaning, the government did not grant us this right; it is a right derived by virtue of being born a free person.  It also stipulates that the government may NOT restrict that right.  We already allow certain restrictions by permitting background checks, and limiting military weapons to either the military or police, or in rare occassions individuals who go through a lengthy permitting process and pay the government a license fee.  No average, everyday citizen, crazy or not, has access to those types of weapons.

Third:  Even though I may not desire to own an AR-15 or AK-47 "style" of rifle, I detest some bureaucrat telling me that, as a free, law abiding, sane, citizen that I am not trustworthy enough to own one.  They, nor you, have that right, just as no one has the right to tell me which church to go to or what newspaper to buy.

Fourth:  Having a weapon, of choice, that an individual is competent at shooting, is EXACTLY the point.  It does have a direct relationship on a person's "self-defense", the AR style rifles ARE indeed used in hunting, sport shooting, competitve/recreational shooting.  In fact, they are one of the most widely used guns in America today.

Fifth:  Your comment: "People who would buy such weapons are precisely the ones we don't want
to have them."
Is not only inaccurate, but displays a lack of understanding of the real underlying causes for these tragedies.  As stated previously, many, sane, competent, decent, law abiding Americans currently own these rifles and enjoy using them for a variety of lawful purposes; the guns, their caliber,  their capacity, nor their appearance are the problem.  These shootings did not happen because the shooter had an AR-15; they happened because the shooter was, for whatever mental or emotional reason, not acting rationally and committed a heinous crime while breaking the existing laws.
More laws will not fix the problems with evil, crazy, irrational behavior.

I am saddened, and sickened by the carnage this single person inflicted on so many families.  Like most people who see it, I am angry.  Rationally, I realize, I cannot be angry at the gun or the millions of Americans who choose to own and use that type of gun in their own "pursuit of happiness" that is guaranteed under our constitution.  I am ANGRY as hell at a society that fails to place the blame where the blame should be; on the individual who committed the crime, and his family and friends who supported him and enabled him.  I am ANGRY that the American culture has declined to such a state that we no longer mourn the deaths of millions of unborn babies by abortion; in fact, we elected a man to the Presidency who not only supported late term abortion, he voted for and even went so far as stating that an aborted late term baby, that happens to survive, should be left to die because that was the mother's intent.  Talk about callous!  Talk about insensitive!  Talk about disgusting!

I am also saddened that intelligent people, such as yourself, are inclined to accept a knee jerk reaction, which will not solve the real causes of much deeper societal problems of mental health, drug abuse, etc.

We have some really serious problems in society today.  We should be brave enough to face the facts that several generations of permissiveness  decaying moral values, political correctness, drugs, and the destruction of the traditional family are more at fault than a specific type of firearm.  There have been guns around for centuries.  True, until the 20th century we didn't have high capacity, weapons, but we have had semi-automatics since the early 20th century and it has only been in the past couple of decades that we've seen this level of violence perpetrated on our most vulnerable citizens.  Rather than rushing to judge those who legally own, and lawfully use, these weapons, I would encourage you to get involved in a meaningful investigation and dialogue to put the blame where it should be and begin to change society's value system rather than restrict a free American's constitutional right to keep the arms he or she chooses will best suit them.

Subject:        Eric Holder believes: "WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO POSSESS GUNS"

He's the Attorney General!
He's in charge of the FBI!
He's in charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (B.A.T.F.E.)!
He's still ducking responsibility for his ill conceived, failed attempt to manufacture gun running in an effort to use it to smear legal gun ownership and thus prompt further gun control.  Operation Gun Walker, aka. Operation Fast and Furious!
He, and his boss, will stop at nothing to gain control over ALL of us.  That means disarming anyone who could potentially pose a threat to tyranny.

Notice at the end of the survey, the results show 97% of the people believe in the literal meaning of the 2nd Amendment as written and envisioned by our founders.  2% agree with Holder and the other communists.  1% are undecided?!  What is wrong here?  Why does this crap about gun control even get the media's attention?  Guess the "media" is the 2%.

Attorney General Holder says,
"WE HAVE NO RIGHT
TO POSSESS GUNS"

Guess they were not happy with the poll results the first time, so USA today is running another one...Vote now...

Attorney General Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2nd Amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. Then pass the link on to all the pro-gun folks you know. Hopefully the results will be published later this month.

Obama Brings UN’s Gun-Grabbing Resolution to Limelight

http://godfatherpolitics.com/7991/obama-brings-uns-gun-grabbing-resolution-to-limelight/

This is very serious.  Please do not take lightly the resolve from the United Nations and our own left to eventually turn us into England where don't have gun rights.

We absolutely must stand against this and any other crap they drive down our throats about being "reasonable".

Gun control is not about guns--it is about controlling you.  Gun control has never worked, anywhere.  Our safest cities and states are those with the least restrictive gun laws.  These are undisputed facts rather than the lies you will hear from Obama and the media.

Go to JPFO.org if you want to begin fact checking.  Link to the FBI Crime Staistics reports, Google what happened in England or Australia.  There are several YouTube videos of Brits and Aussies bemoaning how they were taken in by "reasonable" gun control that morphed into total confiscation. Rest assured that your ideological enemies fully understand their limits as long as America retains it 2nd Amendment rights.

The election is over.  I'm not happy with the outcome, but I cannot change it.  I don't care to argue about who you voted for or why.  I am warning you of some of the consequences.  This is not some "chicken little" the sky is falling or a "boy crying wolf".  This is a very real agenda that we can never give an inch.  Once you give an inch, it's like letting the camel get his nose under the tent; you'll soon have the whole camel to deal with.

The NRA, JPFO, and a number of other organizations are fighting for our rights.  We have to join them, support them, write/call congress and tell them where we stand.  We must be unrelenting or you, your children, and subsequent generations will never know liberty.

PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.  Do your own research.  Hillsdale College offers a free on-line course on the Constitution--EXCELLENT!  JPFO has a number of FREE educational videos regarding our constitutional rights under the 2nd Amendment as well as what have been the historic reasons and results of gun control.

YES, IT REALLY IS THAT SERIOUS!

PAUL RYAN'S PROPOSED BUDGET CUTS

I received the following supposed budget cuts from  a friend.  While I haven't been able to verify every cent, if even some of them are correct, this is shocking.

My question is, what is all this doing in the budget in the first place? If, indeed, these figures are accurate, they are only the tip of the iceberg.  There is a lot of waste in the military budget just as, I'm sure, in every Federal bureaucracies' budgets.  We should scrub all of them to the essentials.

Also, BEFORE we allow congress resort to raising our taxes to support their profligate spending, we should do a salary and benefit review of their compensation packages.  They've voted themselves far better benefits than an average American enjoys, yet there is no penalty for them if they do a poor job.  The worst that can happen is they are voted out of office and collect their pension and benefits.  Bet you'd like a job like that!

We should demand that Congress re-evaluate all of our foreign aid expenditures as well as our participation in, and contribution to, the United Nations.  It's become very one sided in our funding and hosting them yet very little support for our interests or initiatives.  We'd be better served to establish strong alliances with countries that have similar interests and aspirations and lend our foreign aid to them--and only them.

It is time to stop borrowing money to give away to other countries and wasting on inefficient government programs at home.  It is unconscionable that we would allow our government to saddle future generations with a debt that they have had no say in how the money was spent.  Essentially this is TAXATION (of the yet to be born) without any REPRESENTATION!  The very principle that drove our separation from England.

The next time you hear some politician or talking head on TV start spouting about the oil industy's "obscene profits" maybe you'll think of government's "OBSCENE TAX PROFITS" on every gallon of fuel!

Amazing isn't it how no reporter ever follows up on these facts. Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, and others can scream about obscene profits. The oil companies "profit" is about 4 cents per gallon while government gets approximately 50 cents per gallon!

You want relief at the pump? How about demanding that all levels of government stop taxing commodities that are necessities? Medicines, food, clothes, FUEL, etc. It won't happen because the government's profits are hidden in the price and not added on at the sale. This is only one of their many dirty secrets they use to rob us.

What is the United States national gas tax rate?
The United States federal excise tax on gasoline is 18.4 cents per gallon (cpg) and 24.4 cents per gallon (cpg) for diesel fuel. On average, as of April 2012, state and local taxes add 31.1 cents to gasoline and 30.2 cents to diesel for a total US average fuel tax of 49.5 cents (cpg) per gallon for gas and 54.6 cents per gallon (cpg) for diesel.

What are the specific taxes for each state?
Some states charge an excise tax while other states have a flat tax. The below table displays state taxes plus fees, plus the 18.4 cents-per-gallon (cpg) federal excise tax. Additionally, some local counties may additionally charge an excise tax on gas, which is not reflected in this table. Please consult your specific local government for more information.

What do the state and local governments generate in fuel taxes?

3 Allah Akbars and You're Out!

Isn’t Technology GREAT !!!

Take a look at the 20-seconds video, but read this first.

The cameraman is filming his friend as he praises Allah and launches mortar shots at British troops. Little does he know that current mortar shell tracking technology can track the trajectory of a hostile round and fire a retaliatory shot to precisely the spot from which the hostile shell was fired. This only requires the hostile mortar to fire 2 to 3 rounds. Count the number of mortar rounds the masked insurgent fires in the video. See how well it works. If you listen carefully you can hear the single round from the American artillery fired in the distance. It comes just after the terrorist fires his third round and his fourth round drops down the tube but that's as far as it gets.

No more "Allah Akbars" from THIS source! Isn't technology wonderful?

True or False? Will we ever know?

True or false?  We may never know the whole truth.

I've always believed that where there's smoke there's fire.  In the case of Mr. Soetoro/Obama there is so much smoke, you can't see anything else.

Here's a man who has an unverifiable past, relatively no experience in government or business.  Gets elected to the Illinois legislature, then to the U.S. Senate, and within 4 years becomes the President of the United States!  WHAT?!

He's awarded the Nobel prize; for what?  Being 1/2 black and getting elected?  He had absolutely NO other accomplishments; not even a major academic publication to his credit.

His cabinet and advisors are predominately far left politically and have far more experience in academia than in business or government.

Yet the media adores him.  The spin never ceases and he is FUNDAMENTALLY changing our country.  The current spin is that he's created 4.5 million jobs.  Well, they fail to say that he's still at a net loss.  They say the private sector is growing, yet they fail to tell you that we are only one quarter away from having an official recession.  They play games about the tax code, yet they fail to tell you that 47% of Americans pay NO Federal income tax (where's the "fair share" in that?).

Yesterday I learned that the current amount of INTEREST only on our debt to China is amounts to 70% of their cost for their military; and in less than 4 years, at our current rate of spending/borrowing, we will be paying 100% of the cost of the Chinese military!  You don't hear that on any major networks; not because it's not true, but because they don't want you to hear about it.

They are now spinning out of control over the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic radicals killing Americans, attacking embassies, etc.  If you listen to the mainstream media and the administration, you probably think this all started over some video clip released by someone insulting Islam and their Prophet.  Yet, the Libyan leaders say this was a pre=planned coordinated attack that they told Washington about 3 weeks ago!  That makes more sense since it happened on the anniversary of 9/11.  The video in question has been out on YouTube since July.  Also, Bill Maher's movie "Religulous" made fun of/insulted Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  No riots began over that film.  No statements from Obama's administration about it being disgusting or reprehensible.  Guess what; Maher donated $1,000,000 to the Obama campaign!

How is this happening?  Can he be stopped?  Like the author below, this election has me very worried.  It's not just the economy, it's Iran getting a nuke, it's the proliferation of nuclear materials to both rogue nations and terrorists who have no compunction against killing innocents.  It's a Congress so out of touch with the American people that we are borrowing more than we take in in taxes just to keep funding foreign nations who aren't our friends and subsidizing everything from student loans, welfare, food stamps, medicaid, etc., etc., etc.

THIS CANNOT CONTINUE!  IT IS UNSUSTAINABLE!

You know who.... A FOREIGN STUDENT

This is no surprise........ He claims what ever suits him from one day to the next....

TRUE??? FALSE??? Barry Myth buster. Tony

Take a close look at this.
Please read the letter also, as it contains some very interesting questions, that need answers.Written by a female Obama supporter who voted for him for president.

Legitimate  Question.

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. I voted for Obama. McCain was a Washington insider and we don't need any more of them. I have changed my mind three  times, since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. I started  thinking "where does all the money come from for President Obama"? I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was  tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's history for my own peace of mind.

Around 1979 Obama started college at  Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he  had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies.
"Barry" (that  was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad  Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of  1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed with his  roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's  family.

My  question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in  college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York.  It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not  Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ?  It's not cheap to say the least.

My girls asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe it's none of my business?

After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year.
Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York. By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko  has been convicted of fraud and bribery several times in the past and in  2011. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association".  About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School.  Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School ?

Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student loans? His family has no money that's for sure.

After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a  job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I discovered? They represented "Rezar", which is Rezko's firm

Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko  threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.

In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwood District of Chicago for  $1.65 million (less than asking price).  With ALL those Student Loans - Where  did he get the money for this property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price.  The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased.  Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President.  Valerie Jarrett was Michele Obama's boss.  She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her  first.  Where was Jarrett born?  Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?

On May 10, 2008, The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was  "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran.  This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq , he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things".  What the heck does that mean?

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all  those "small" Internet campaign contribution for Obama.  Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country?  Or could it be from the Middle East ?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos.  Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "he made a mistake". Some mistake, eh?

All of the above information I researched on line.  If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama;  Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question:: -
If I found out  all this information on my own, Why haven't all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this? Is this a Kettle of Fish?? As Arsenio Hall would say."HUMMMMMMM!  Does something stink or is it my imagination?"
These are legitimate Questions For our PRESIDENT.

Democrats=Progressives=Control

The issues on the Democratic Party's Platform are very important.  Important, not because the platform actually binds a president to do those things, but because the president, as the leader of his/her party and, as such, supports the majority of his/her party's issues.  Remember the old adage: "Birds of a feather flock together".

Secularism, moral relativism, and a large federal government with centralized control, are all basic tenets of the progressive movement.  Knowing their ideals were too radical for most Americans of the early 20th century, they began making in roads in education and politics. The progressives took many years to educate generations of voters and insidiously take over the Democratic party giving them a national stage to promote their ideas and elect their candidates.  Like boiling a frog, they didn't throw him into the hot water all at once; they put him in cool water and gradually raised the heat.  Traditional Democrats were gradually overcome by those new progressives that were educated in their ideas of liberalism, big centralized government, and moral relativism. It's a "feel good" party.

Many folks, myself, my friends and family included, had historically been "traditional Democrats".  (I left when Reagan came along and confirmed what I had already realized: "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me").  Unfortunately, the "Progressives" have gradually chipped away all of the traditional Democratic party values and now have replaced them with their "feel good", "reasonable", emotion driven rhetoric which they only intend to use to manipulate their party loyalists into supporting a very radical hidden agenda.  Many "traditional Democrats" find it difficult to break with their tradition of supporting Democratic candidates; their "feel good receivers" have been tuned to that frequency for so long they can't switch channels.

God gave us all free will.  We have a right, and a responsibility, to evaluate our positions based on the knowledge of what is right and what is wrong.  There may be some gray areas in life, but most of us know that the really important things in life can only be equated to either right or wrong.
--We know that killing an unborn baby because it is inconvenient is WRONG; God would NEVER support that position.
--We know that a person "freely" giving to charity is righteous, but being forced to contribute their earnings so someone else can decide where their gifts will go is wrong.
--We know that we have no right to enjoy the fruits of another's labor.  We must earn our own.
--We know that the whole idea of lying to achieve power over others is a corruption of morality.

I hope, and pray, for our country's sake, that people will start to recognize "progressivism" for what it really is: dictatorial, centralized power in the hands of an aloof, elite political class with no moral compass to guide them by a higher authority.

The message we have to get across to our friends who are still locked into that emotionalism of relativism, is that it's O.K. to reevaluate your position.  You don't have to lock step support any political party just because your grandfather, father, or you have always done it that way.  Billy Graham once said: "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything".  To stand for something, you have to consciously think about your position, understand it, and understand why you feel that way.  The progressives don't want you to use your brains; they want to attack you with emotional appeals, ambiguities, and muddied waters.  They are all about rationalization of behavior and values.

America has been the only place on earth that was established on the principles that the people own the government; not the government owns the people.  As such, for over 200 years, we've wrestled with many of the tough issues of the time.  Being a government "of the people", and people having human flaws, we've naturally had, and still have, flaws that had to be overcome. The most often referenced is equality of all citizens.  This has been, and continues to be, a long fought struggle.  Abolishing slavery, ensuring equal treatment of all regardless of race, creed, sex, color, national origin, or physical disability  have been issues that have been fought for throughout our history.  But, even with all of our imperfections, we've still been the shining light among nations for individual liberty, freedom of religion, of speech, the right to dissent with the government without fear of being killed.  We are the "go to" nation for all of those oppressed throughout the world who seek a better life for themselves and families.

We have a great nation.  We should all be PROUD to be AMERICANS!  We don't have to apologize to anyone for our country being exceptional.  We can only remain an exceptional nation if the citizens respect one another and respect the laws and morality behind those laws which ensure all of us have equal protection.  A tyrant, whether it's a single person or a huge government machine, has no incentive to do anything other than what they want to do.  We don't have an individual tyrant, but our HUGE Federal bureaucracy has become tyrannical and must be controlled.  this coming election can be the beginning to taking control back and limiting government in our lives.

God Bless You All!  God Bless America!
