  • I agree we cannot sustain a 3rd party, all an additional 3rd party canidate would do is take votes away from any republican canidate that is running. I dont so much think we need to take over the party but reform and change in ideals and values of the party is necessary.

Absolutely no. I've met and talked to Mr. Burns and like him as a candidate. He seems to have the support of the republicans but I'm wondering if it is because he is new and they believe they can intimidate him and lead him around. I don't think we can sustain a 3rd party,; I believe we should take over the republican party and start getting this country back to where it belongs. I want candidates that are answerable to their consituents and believe they were elected to represent the views of those constituents, not the views of the senior republicans or the republicans party or, as the democrats have just shown, believe they were elcted to rule us. I simply believe we should attempt to organize our groups in whatever each group has in common past just the will to defeat the socialist democrats.

Are you suggesting a Tea Party candidate to run against the republican and democrat nominees?

Tim Burns is the GOP candidate and Mark Critz is the democrat.

Considering the present short term situation in DC, I would tend to want to support Tim Burns.

Remember, Pennsylvania is expected to lose two seats in Congress after the 2010 census. Chances are, the 12th district may just disappear.
    Upcoming election to replace Murtha
I think it is time for us to organize for the special election this spring to replace Murtha. It would be a good thing if we can replace him with a v…

  • I think someone has to exist. This is the one big issue with the tea party being multiple groups; how do we organize to find that person or influence who is going to run. I believe that whatever happens we can't do any worse than Murtha, but we surely can do a whole lot better.
  • Do you really think we can find an honest person in PA to do it. Already they float the names of old political hacks they want to annoint with the title and the lobbists have started the usual vetting. Its time for the people to stand up and put a new beginning to PA . I for one am tired of the filth and corruption in this state. The one thing we can do is clean up Harrisburg before we worry about the Nation. If this state could get straight and free of the graft and corruption it would give the Nation a big boost back towards being great aghain
