The flag of Nebraska features the state Great Seal on a field of blue. "The eastern part of the circle to be represented by a steamboat ascending the Missouri River, the mechanic arts to be represented by a smith with a hammer and anvil, in the foreground, agriculture to be represented by a settlers cabin, sheaves of wheat, and stalks of growing corn, in the background a train of cars heading towards the Rocky Mountains, and on the extreme west, the Rocky Mountains to be plainly in view, around the top of the circle, to be in capital letters, the motto: "Equality Before the Law," and the circle to be surrounded with the words, "Great Seal of the State of Nebraska."

With rallies being held at state capitals around the country by patriots who refuse to allow this administration to infringe upon our 2nd Amendment Rights, it's a bit disheartening to see no information or activity here for 2013.

Since our membership seems quite low, do we have any bumper stickers or posters that can be placed on our vehicles and around our community?

I, for one, would be glad to help "put out the word" that our state does, indeed, have a Tea Party and "this is how you join them"!

  • THIS IS HOW WE CAN FIX CONGRESS!!!!!
Send this to virtually everybody on your e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. This is the proposed "Congressional Reform Act of 2010". It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, the entity that represents us.
We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House.

These people will become American hero's.. Please send any ideas on how to get this done.

    Thanks,

    A Fellow American

Your infidel taxpayer dollars at work! The dome on Capitol Hill will be gilded in no short order. Where is the separation of mosque and state? Head slap! There s no separation. Mosque is state. Recalling Ben Nelson

While I was on my way to work this morning I heard that there was a movement in western Nebraska to get Ben Nelson recalled.  But now I can't find anything about it.  I live in southwest Iowa and I told him that if he voted for the government takeover of healthcare I would work for his defeat..  I want to live up to my promise.  Has anyone heard anything?
