The state flag of Maine displays the State's coat-of-arms on a field of blue (the same shade of blue as the national flag). Maine's state seal also displays the coat of arms. All State Flags

The North star* shines above Maine's motto: "Dirigo" ("I Lead," or "I Direct"). The center shield features symbols of the natural richness of Maine - a pine tree (white pine is Maine's state tree, and "The Pine Tree State" is Maine's nickname), a moose (the official state animal), the sea, and the sky.

The farmer is a symbol of pride in Maine's agricultural roots. The sailor represents Maine's strong ties to the sea. A banner below displays the state name; "MAINE" (in capital letters).

  • I did some homework this what I came up with.

It Matters Not Where Obama Was Born!

Has anyone actually done his or her homework? Obama’s father was born a British subject, and the British Subject act of 1948 states that anyone born of a British Subject is themselves a British Subject! His mother being an American citizen gives him dual citizenship, which makes him ineligible to hold office. What more does anyone need to know? Of course, we can say he gave up citizenship when he attended a Madrasa for at least five years hence he is an Indonesian citizen. He does not get the privilege of Impeachment he should be arrested and removed from the people’s house ASAP!
This makes Obama-care illegal and should stop the monies going to the Muslim Brotherhood. (Supreme Court not needed).

  • Our Nation is in distress! Hang youy Flag upside down until our Nation is Right side up!

  • THIS IS HOW WE CAN FIX CONGRESS!!!!!
Send this to virtually everybody on your e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. This is the proposed "Congressional Reform Act of 2010". It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, the entity that represents us.
We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House.

These people will become American hero's.. Please send any ideas on how to get this done.

    Thanks,

    A Fellow American

Olympia Snowe

If you know any Conservatives in Maine, contact them and ask them to join this group. This all of the sudden has become every bit as important as the Presidential Pageant. This so-called lady is just as responsible for Obamacare as anybody else and needs to be replaced with a true representative of the Citizens of Maine.https://www.facebook.com/groups/364297670268763/

Scott D;Amboise for Senate 2012

I received an email from Scott D'Amboise who is running against O. Snowe in 2012 for U.S. Senate. His website did not give any specifics pursuant to our Tea Party Platform. In addition, I would like to know Scott's stand on issues such as slaughter of unborn, dismantling of marriage, Sharia law in USA, support for Israel, 2nd amendment rights, immigration, judges redefining and making law, not raising the debt ceiling, U.S. debt in general, ppork barrel spending . . .If you have any factual…

How about this to fix congress, besides term limits

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution       "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the President, Senators and the House of Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the President, Senators and the House of Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."
