Look for court challenges... it doesn't matter what the law states ... it is all about political power and corrupt appointments to high office that secure such corrupt power. Pres. Trump should have fired every sitting US Attorney and then appointed only those US Attorneys he wanted to serve under his administration. Every Judicial appointment to the Office of US Attorney should have been immediately terminated as being unconstitutional... all US Attorneys must be nominated by the President and confirmed by the US Senate. Judges don't get to appoint US Attorneys. President Trump may still fire every political appointee in the DOJ if he so likes... no explanation required. Frankly, it may be a good idea to fire them all, including AG Barr.. imagine offering this current US attorney to be the HEAD of anything int the DOJ... what, we now permit insubordinate members of the DOJ to demand retention and promotion... fire the AG... he is a major part of the problem with establishing law and order among the elite in government.
PS if this US Attorney refuses to leave... have him detained, arrested and prosecuted for trespass.... if he tries to act in the capacity of a US Attorney... file criminal charges for impersonating an official of the government and throw the book at him... put him in prison... disbar him. Instead, it appears that AG Barr was negotiating a transfer to a cushy job in the DOJ... this man should have been run out of the DOJ the day Trump took office. AG Barr is too easy on the unloyal members of the DOJ... get rid of them.
Terrific action by the AG, backed 100 percent by the President! WE need more decisive action like this to help right the badly damaged ship of state!! Congrats, Sir - and ever onward!!
What... this AG was ready to give this guy a key position in the DOJ to get him to leave his US Attorney position... that is not acceptable... not at all. He should have been fired for usurping his office... as far as I know the Constitution is clear... the President, not some judge nominates and the Congress confirms such appointment.
It appears we have another US Attorney being appointed by a Judge... in LTG Flynn's case.... that attorney should be immediately removed from the case... not given access to or authority for representing the government if he does...he needs to be arrested and prosecuted for impersonating an official of the government. IF he is a DOJ attorney order him to cease and desist or fire him and lock him out... Judges don't and must not be permitted to appoint prosecutors... they may detail defense attorneys but not prosecutors.
Why did they wait so long. There are others deeply imbedded in the Justice Department. Root them out and remove them immediately.
There's a list of 24 traitors still to be brought to justice; starting with obama on down.
Let's ALL get out in November and reelect our great President Trump to four more years. This will give him time and support to remove the rest of the swamp rats that still remain in Washington D.C. TRUMP 2020!!
