A  liberal woman who’d vowed to put a New York pizzeria owner out of business over the “Keep America Great” flag outside his shop instead wound up inadvertently driving boatloads of people and nationwide support to the business.

Meet Guy Caligiuri, a humble Long Island resident who’s owned Patio Pizza for 43 years. On Thursday he appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co” to talk about a nasty woman who’d threatened to destroy his business a week earlier.

“A woman had come into my store on Friday night to pick up an order, and she asked my counter girl whose flag that was hanging in the back of the store. And [my counter girl] said it was the owner’s flag,” he told host Stuart Varney.

“She took offense to that and said that she was administrator of a Facebook page and she was going to post it online and she was going to drive me out of business.”

At the time, Caligiuri thought nothing of it.

“I didn’t think anything of it. I’ve been in business for 43 years, and I’ve seen a lot. I just took it in stride. There is no way. I just ignored it basically,” he said.

But sadly, the nasty woman wound up acting on her threat by posting a nasty message about Patio Pizza to the since-deleted “Smithtown Supportive Moms” Facebook group or page that she runs.
