Just like most of the so-called Afghan “refugees,” these two were neither translators nor interpreters and they apparently had nothing to do with the US military in Afghanistan. Nobody knows why they are in this country.https://barenakedislam.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Screen-Shot-2021-09-23-at-9.21.04-PM-300x168.png 300w" alt="" width="609" height="341" />Mohammad Haroon Imaad Bahrullah Noori
According to a statement from the Department of Justice (via Neonnettle), Bahrullah Noori, 20, is charged with attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor using force against that person, and with three counts of engaging in a sexual act with a minor, with one count alleging the use of force. He has also been charged with three other counts of raping a minor. The indictment alleges that that the victims had not attained the age of 16 years.
32-year-old Mohammad Haroon Imaad has also been arrested for violent sex crimes against women and children. Additionally, Imaad is being charged with assaulting his wife by choking and suffocating her on September 17.
Imaad’s wife also told personnel at Fort McCoy, where the family was being held, that her husband beat her “many times” in Afghanistan. She said she was beaten to the point that she “lost vision in both eyes,” an FBI agent said in a charging document.
Imaad reportedly told her he would send her back to Afghanistan “where the Taliban could deal with her,” the FBI agent wrote. The wife, identified only by initials B.I., also said Imaad also abused their children. The two have been removed from the base and are being held at Dane County Jail, according to reports.

If convicted, Noori faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 30 years and a maximum of life in federal prison on the charges alleging use of force, and a maximum penalty of 15 years on the other two charges. Imaad faces a maximum penalty of 10 years.
Roughly 12,500 Afghans are being housed at Fort McCoy after being airlifted out of their country last month during Democrat Joe Biden’s military withdrawal from Afghanistan. Another 60,000 evacuees are still being held overseas while they are vetted and processed. Both Imaad and Noori cleared that vetting in order to reach Fort McCoy.
It’s not clear what status they had, though it’s likely they were admitted by Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas under his power of humanitarian parole.
The airlift was sold to the public as a chance to evacuate Afghans who assisted the two-decade U.S. war effort, though Biden officials now say they brought out people who don’t qualify under that category. The Biden administration has been unable or unwilling to detail the numbers of people who did assist the U.S. effort, versus those who were airlifted out for other reasons.
