This nation is now divided and in jeopardy of dire ruin at levels not existing since the end of the civil war. Furious, fearful, and frustrated patriots constantly complain, e.g., “Washington is broken”; “Our country is falling apart”; “There is lack of leadership in Washington”; “We must take back our government, etc.”. Books and social media blogs such as this also address the problems. However, the root cause is never mentioned, even though the “symptoms” are obvious. As with any problem, without identifying its root cause; no credible and viable strategy and tactics can be formulated to either eradicate it, or to at least optimally diminish its prevalence and detrimental capacity to a negligible level. Without question, the root cause of this crisis is gross lacking of optimum levels of character attributes, e.g., integrity/honesty, truthfull, civility, compassion, etc., among the Democratic Party's leadership heirchy, and their media cohorts. Because only such people would even think of doing the unscrupolous things they have done, and continues to do that have placed this nation at the brink of ruin. In the Late Doctor Myles Munroe's book, "The Power of Character in Leasership", he wrote the following: “The most valuable component of leadership is not power, position, influence, notoriety, fame, talent, gifting, dynamic oratory, persuasiveness, intellectual superiority, academic achievement, or management skills. It is character. Character is the cradle of credibility for the leader. Without the element of strong, noble, honorable character, leadership and all its potential achievements are in danger of cancellation. Every leader is only as safe and secure as his character. “Having a foundation of ethics is central to the success and longevity of one’s leadership. Many leadership training seminars and academic programs focus on vision, skills, management, organization, teamwork, and many other helpful subjects. Yet few of these courses address the topic of the leader’s character. The subject is either downplayed or never covered at all. This oversight is tragic. Not only has it permitted the encroachment of an unhealthy atmosphere of negative attitudes and practices among leaders, but it has also led to destructive consequences for individuals, societies, and nations. Character is the most powerful force a leader can cultivate because it protects leadership".(Quotes were taken from “The Power of Character in Leadership”; by Dr. Myles Munroe/Copyright © 2014 by Myles Munroe; with use by permission of Whitaker House at www.whitakerhouse.com). Fellow Patriots, if we do not begin addressing and taking deliberate and urgent action to either eridicate the root cause, or to al least diminish its prevelance and detrimental capacity to a negligible level; we are whistling in the wind. Of course, our first priority must be to defeat those who aid and abet the crooks by merely keeping them in office; and silmultaneously holding their media cohorts accountable for their sordid behavior.
