Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is launching a $1 million digital ad blitz aimed at capitalizing on Joe Biden’s inflammatory remark that African American voters “ain’t black” if they’re considering voting for the president.

The Trump campaign is planning to run a video montage highlighting Biden’s Friday morning comment on “The Breakfast Club,” a popular black radio program. It will also air an ad focusing on Biden’s support for the 1994 crime bill which, the ad says, resulted in mass incarceration and “destroyed millions of black lives.”

Biden set off a firestorm Friday morning when he told the program’s co-host, Charlamagne tha God, that “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The former vice president later apologized during a call with black community leaders, saying that “perhaps I was much too cavalier."

"I know that the comments have come off like I was taking the African American vote for granted. But nothing could be further for the truth. I've never ever done that and I've earned it every time I've run,” he added.

The Trump reelection effort immediately moved to take advantage of Biden’s remark. The campaign hosted a press call with adviser Katrina Pierson and South Carolina Tim Scott, began selling a “#YouAintBlack” t-shirt, and launched a website highlighting Biden’s comments.

  • One thing that is different from what and how Trump approaches this whole political busiess is he educates.  He is looking for the great American Waking.  I just saw a sample of what can happen with this great Bidenism remark.  Trump can now run ads on education American how how the Democratic party started as a Slave party and how the Republican party started as a break slavery program. Of Q's Anons just posted Prager U's Video 5 min I think on this very issue this will give you a general idea.

    • interesting to say the least

  • Some say "You ain't black enough".  If anyone really wants to see what Democrats think of blacks, watch the inquesition of Clarence Thomas during his Nazi like trial during his confirmation hearings.  It was more like you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.  Good ole Anita.  Why did not Obama get the same tough questioning.  Why did Obama never do anything wrong according to the news media or the democrats and all liberals.  When I went to school back in the 40's, 50's and 60's, My parents had to show specific identification.  Particualy my Birth Certificate.  The privacy act seems to be for a special select group.  Same as the right to know.  Reporting now is a different meaning, just like "it depends on what the meaning of is is.

  • I wonder if Biden would take the same cavalier approach with the nuclear codes if he's lucky enough to become President.

    • I don't think so.

  • Go for it, Donald! Kick 'em in the ass!

    • I'll second that in a heart beat

  • How can black voters keep voting democratic when it is the democrats who had the blacks in chains and slavery? President Trump is the only one helping blacks get job, education, and business opportunities. The democrats take the blacks for granted and haven't done one thing to improve black conditions. Trump is the answer for black voters improvement.

    • Makes ya' wonder huh?  NEVER had anyone made a claim that Trump is a racist until after he and Melania descended on that escalator.
