“Red Flag” gun confiscation bills call for legally owned firearms to be forcibly confiscated from law-abiding Americans without due process, based on unsubstantiated accusations from disgruntled family members, neighbors, co-workers, and/or current or ex-romantic partners, or roommates.
Sometimes branded as “Extreme Risk Protection Orders” (ERPOs) or “Gun Violence Restraining Orders,” (GVRO’s) these laws rely on the issuing of ex-parte (one-sided) orders authorizing law enforcement, including SWAT teams, to immediately seize firearms from the subject of the order without notification or right to an attorney.
In other words: Gun Confiscation without due process.
In the 116th Congress, S. 7, by U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, authorizes a federal grant program to fund state-level adoption of “Red Flag” gun confiscation laws.
The bill just passed by congress allows red flag removal of guns. What is a red flag? Is it like statements made on social media that are not hateful and completely true and are censored because they don’t comply with the narrative being propagandized to our nation. This is a very open ended statement. Who decides what a red flag is? And again what is a red flag? Is it going to be a person who voices his disagreement with a government policy? Is it going to be a person who voices anger at a particular government official? Or maybe it will be a person who supports someone the government doesn’t approve of. This allows any tyrannical “representative or officer to decide that someone is a red flag. How in the world can over 100 republican congressman pass this bill demolishing the second amendment? This is why Australia is in the mess it is. Where are our representatives. It seems we are to obey orders, shut our mouths and comply with the shredding of Our Constitutional rights.
