Rep. Mo Brooks Says There’s Evidence Antifa
Was Involved in Assault on Capitol

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) is imploring people not to rush to judgment on the assault on the Capitol that took place Wednesday afternoon and to wait for an investigation.

“All may not be (and likely is not) what appears,” he said on Twitter Thursday morning. “Evidence growing that fascist ANTIFA orchestrated Capitol attack with clever mob control tactics.”

Here’s the evidence he cited on Twitter:

Brooks says that on Monday he was warned by a fellow congressman whom he did not name of “a growing ANTIFA threat” and was advised to sleep in his office and not leave Capitol complex. Brooks reported that he heeded that advice and has slept on his office floor for four straight nights.

On Tuesday, Brooks says that a Capitol Police officer warned congressman “that intelligence suggested fascist ANTIFA was going to try to infiltrate the Trump rally by dressing like Trump supporters.”

On the same day, Brooks says Capitol Police advised that “it [was] best not to leave [the] Capitol complex.”

Finally, Brooks referenced “Evidence, much public, surfacing that many Capitol assaulters were fascist ANTIFAs, not Trump supporters.”

Nevertheless, Brooks said that “time will reveal truth,” and warned people not to “rush to judgment.” He then accused the fake news media, “whose political judgment drives their reporting,” of trying to fool people.

Rest assured, Rep. Brooks was not trying to justify or excuse Trump supporters who were involved and expressed unequivocally that all those who participated should be fully prosecuted.

While it’s possible that there were members of antifa involved, it cannot be denied that Trump supporters were, too. Such actions do nothing to advance the rioters’ cause and are actually more likely to derail them. I don’t doubt we’ll learn a lot more about who was involved in the coming days and weeks, but at least Republicans have condemned the violence, something Democrats weren’t so willing to do last summer when cities nationwide were on fire.

{ sonsoflibertymedia.com } ~ The character of Trump supporters to exhibit this kind of extreme behavior. Over the past several years the left has demonstrated several times over, their capacity for violence. In some instances, they have even been exposed infiltrating conservative groups to make them look like the radicals. Was it trump supporters that stormed the capitol today, or Antifa in disguise?

The idea of infiltrating opposing groups isn’t new. Saul Alinsky was once asked by a group of college students the best way to protest a visit from George Bush Sr. when he was a U.S. representative to the U.N. His advice was to show up to the speech dressed as Klu Klux Klan members while showing strong support for everything Bush said. Of course, the intent was to portray Bush as a Klu Klux Klan supporter. This is an example of one of Alinsky’s rules of tactics which states that a good tactic is one people enjoy and should have fun doing. Another example of infiltration was the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville Virginia. The organizer, Josh Kessler, was a member of the far left Occupy Wallstreet movement and, a known scumbag/liar-nObama supporter. The intent, just as today’s events in D.C., was to portray Trump’s supporters as violent white supremacists.

Unfortunately, the government has also been exposed infiltrating groups with the intent of portraying them as radical extremists. During the recent Oregon mining standoff, FBI agents were allegedly exposed posing as militia members and breaking into the local national guard armory, trying to give the impression that right wingers were intent on starting a violent revolution against the government. They have been doing this for a long time under the operational name COINTELPRO. In the 1980s, when the militia movement was strong, the FBI formed a group called the Veterans Aaryan Movement for the explicit purpose of trying to recruit so-called right-wing extremists into committing acts of violence. Despite believing that the right posed an imminent threat to national security, no intent to commit violent crimes was ever uncovered. Another example has FBI agents  planting bomb making materials onto the property of Georgia militia members, attempting to portray them as terrorists. Given this information is entirely possible today’s events could have been led by agent provocateurs.

There has been an agenda to portray conservatives as violent extremists for some time. The report Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment suggests that conservatives who support gun rights, oppose immigration and believe in the New World Order conspiracy theories are potential extremists. All of this is subjective speculation as there is no evidence whatsoever that right wing conservatives are planning on, or have committed, any acts of violence on par with what we have seen the left get away with. Finally, an article published in Psychological bulletin entitled Political conservatism as motivated social cognition, claims that conservatives are mentally ill because of a rigid resistance to change and a willingness to accept intolerance and inequality.

Republicans Meet With Senate Parliamentarian
to Discuss Impeachment Timeline

{ freebeacon.com } ~ A group of Senate Republicans including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) met Friday morning with the Senate parliamentarian in a ransacked office to discuss a timeline for impeachment proceedings, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the situation.

Should House Speaker scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi bring articles of impeachment against Trump next week, which she has pledged to do if he doesn't resign, the parliamentarian's conclusion was that the earliest the Senate could begin a trial—absent unanimous consent—is either Jan. 19 or Jan. 20, the day of President-elect scumbag/liar-Joe Biden's inauguration. A memo on the subject laying out some ambiguities is expected in the coming hours, one of these sources said. Among them: whether the Senate can receive articles of impeachment from the House during a pro forma session.

After the House delivers articles of impeachment to the Senate, it is obligated to begin a trial the following business day. The Senate is out of session until Jan. 19. The timeline  shifts the spotlight to Sen. Chuck scumbag/liar-Schumer (D., N.Y.), the incoming majority leader, who would then have to decide whether to devote the first days and weeks of scumbag/liar-Biden's presidency to a trial rather than to confirming cabinet nominees and pursuing a legislative agenda.

Because the Senate is obligated to hold a trial and call witnesses before voting whether to convict, Trump cannot be convicted and removed from office before scumbag/liar- Biden's swearing in on Jan. 20. If the Senate impeaches a president after he leaves office, the penalty would be not removal but a ban on holding federal office again. For Republicans, the timeline raises questions about the value they place on imposing that penalty.

Republicans and Democrats alike have grappled with how to respond to the president's incitement of a mob on Wednesday that stormed the Capitol and led to four fatalities. Democrats are pressing the Trump cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, though Vice President Mike Pence opposes the move, according to those familiar with his thinking. That course of action would present its own complications: Trump can contest his cabinet, which would move the matter to Congress.

Though Trump announced in a video message on Thursday acknowledging scumbag/liar-Biden as the next president and pledging a peaceful transition of power, lawmakers in both parties fear his ability to spark another violent event in his waning days. The president also indicated he would not attend scumbag/liar-Biden's inauguration later this month.

For the GOP, the silver lining of the mess, some argue, is that a Senate conviction would likely bar Trump from holding federal office again, though there is some debate about the constitutional text. As he dangles a 2024 run, a conviction would cut him off at the knees and potentially resolve a headache for the GOP that is otherwise likely to linger.

Keith Whittington, a professor of politics at Princeton University, pointed the Washington Free Beacon to his 2019 analysis of the constitutional text: "Besides removal, the only other available punishment that the Senate can impose is to bar those convicted on impeachment charges from future federal office," Whittington wrote, noting that there is some debate about whether elected offices such as the presidency are offices "of honor, trust, or profit under the United States."

"If Trump was inclined to run again, there would undoubtedly be litigation over the question of whether he was eligible to be listed on the ballot in those circumstances," Whittington said.

A trio of Democratic lawmakers has announced its intention to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday, but it would fall to scumbag/liar-Pelosi to decide whether and how to proceed.

Trump’s Surrender Leaves GOP Leadership
Void Only One Man Can Fill

{ freebeacon.com } ~ Donald Trump promised the American people that by the end of his first term in office they would be "tired of winning." Four years later, having won very little, Trump himself has grown tired of fighting and surrendered the White House to scumbag/liar-Joe Biden after conceding the election.

Trump's decision to quit the fight for America's future leaves a gaping void atop the Republican Party. It needs a new leader, experienced and wise, with a predilection for strength over cowardice. It needs a savior, benevolent and mighty, with a boundless capacity for empathy and brotherly love.

There is only one man, to our knowledge, who has what it takes to fill that void: Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney, former vice president of the United States. Now more than ever, America needs Dick.

Cheney, 79, is only a year older than scumbag/liar-Joe Biden. No other Republican politician, including George W. Bush, has more experience running the country and projecting American strength abroad. He is the natural choice, if not the only choice, to carry the GOP banner into battle against the Radical Libs.

At the very least, Cheney should chair the selection committee charged with finding a viable candidate to lead the party's efforts to throw scumbag/liar-Biden out of office in 2024, if not sooner. But we all know how that would turn out. Even if Cheney didn't make the ideal selection himself, he could still lead through strength by selecting another Cheney (his daughter, Liz) as GOP figurehead until we can figure out what's going on.

Trump's boasts about his ability to shoot someone in the face and get away with it are purely hypothetical; Cheney has actually done it. The former VP spearheaded the open letter  warning Trump against deploying the military in his scheme to overturn the election. Trump didn't even try. He is a coward, but then again so is anyone who has had the misfortune of crossing Dick Cheney—a leader who knows how to fight, a fighter who knows how to win.

Onward!

Report Details Space Force Success
in Foiling Iranian Missile Attack

{ freebeacon.com } ~ The Space Force proved instrumental in thwarting an Iranian missile attack on American bases in Iraq last year, a new report shows.

A review of the events of January 7, 2020, reported by  C4ISRNET indicates that the newly created Space Force’s early warning system allowed hundreds of Americans to quickly shelter in bunkers as Iran fired over a dozen ballistic missiles at U.S. military installations.

The missile attacks came days after a U.S. drone strike killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani. A Space Force early warning team at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colo., picked up unusual readings from advanced satellite missile-detection technology and informed military officials in Iraq within minutes. The early warning potentially saved lives, as U.S. forces reported zero deaths after the night’s action despite personnel suffering 110 injuries.

Officers spoke to the importance of the Space Force’s role in the operation. "This is what they’re trained to do day in and day out," Space Force Squadron Commander Lt. Col. Brandon Davenport told C4ISRNET. "It felt like any other day other than the fact that we all knew there were Americans and allies on the other end of that missile."

Though the branch is newly minted—the Space Force was commissioned less than a month before the attack—its early warning system has seen extensive action thus far. In 2020 alone, the Space Force tracked over 1,000 missiles worldwide. The branch closely monitors U.S. rivals such as China and Russia, whose space capabilities increasingly pose a threat to American security.

Space Force chief of space operations Gen. John Raymond applauded the efforts of his service members to defend against Iranian aggression.

"They operated the world’s best missile warning capabilities," Raymond said. "They did outstanding work, and I’m very, very proud of them."

Competition in outer space continues to heat up. China successfully launched the first lunar surface probe in over 40 years last month and plans to launch a historic number of satellites in 2021. Meanwhile, Iran quietly continues to develop its own space program, stoking concern from Israeli defense analysts.

Though faced with grave security concerns, President-elect scumbag/liar-Joe Biden may take a different route to navigate competition in space than the Trump administration. Early  reports indicate the president-elect may take a more conciliatory and cooperative approach to space issues rather than follow the Trump administration's playbook of relying on American industry for the United States' space ambitions.

Jack 'Uncle Horse' Ma Is a Bad Bet

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ Ma Yun, until recently China's richest individual, is in detention in a Chinese cell, is in hiding in China, is "embracing supervision" from the ruling Communist Party, or is in Singapore after having evaded Chinese authorities. One observer even argues Ma's disappearance, the object of intense speculation in China and elsewhere, is nothing more than a ruse.

Which version of the truth is true? Take your pick.

Facts are scarce. Jack Ma, as Ma is known outside China, possesses one of his country's most famous faces and evidently loves the limelight, but he has not been seen in public since the last day of October, vanishing soon after criticizing state bankers.

Ma's disappearance suggests deep troubles in China's financial circles and almost certainly problems in top Communist Party leadership ranks.

On October 24, Ma criticized China's state bankers at a high-profile event, the Bund Summit in Shanghai.

In his most publicized comment, Ma highlighted the excessive reliance of state bankers on collateral for lending. He called their thinking out-of-date.

What he said is accepted truth in Chinese financial circles and the substance of his comments have been voiced by state bankers themselves. Yet Ma, with a flair for publicity, ridiculed them and spoke dismissively. For instance, he said these bankers had a "pawnshop mentality," a reference to overly cautious lending.

At the same time, he also said his Ant Group, a financial payments platform that was fast branching out into other financial services, would promote lending to China's small businesses.

It is generally believed the that Xi Jinping, general secretary of China's Communist Party, was particularly disturbed by Ma's comments in Shanghai. In any event, Chinese regulators—probably on Xi's direct orders—called Ma on the carpet and, at the last minute, suspended Ant's initial public offering in Shanghai and Hong Kong. The offering was expected in early November to raise $39.5 billion and would have set a world record.

Beijing has since gone after Ma's business empire hard. In late December, China's State Administration for Market Regulation announced an Anti-Monopoly Law investigation of Alibaba Group, which owns about a third of Ant. Regulators are concerned that Alibaba, China's premier online retailer, is forcing sellers not to do business with the online platforms of competitors. Ma in the public eye is associated with Alibaba, which he co-founded. He stepped down as executive chairman in 2019 and left the company's board last October.

At the same time, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Commerce called Alibaba and five competitors, including Tencent and JD.com, in for a "meeting" to discuss their subsidy policies, which were said to be predatory...

{ leftrightiq.com } ~ The cheerleaders of violence are lecturing against their own tactics.

If you subjected yourself to any of the news coverage last night of the events in Washington — that is, if you are a masochist for this stuff such as myself — you saw no lack of outrage and contempt from the players. The press preens today with outward displays of contempt, but if you look in their eyes closely you can catch the gleam they try to stifle. This melee in D.C. has them overcome with paroxysms of excitement.

In their mad rush to deliver hyperbolic contempt and posture in front of the cameras, the one thing they rely upon is our forgetting the way they all behaved in 2020. The problem for them — those actions are still reverberating in our collective memories. Just as a start, Chris Cuomo on CNN was intent on delivering his lectures of displeasure. You could sense the pheromones emanating as he was launching into his condemnations, but he comes off completely impotent on the matter.

See Chris, we recall how you reacted to the numerous skirmishes and riots experienced across the country last summer. You justified the violence, you explained how the damage caused was duly inspired, and how the palpable outrage witnessed in the streets was inspired elsewhere.

Your failure to call out these actions went on for months, and it was underscored when later, after polls showed the negative impression caused, your network suddenly turned on a dime and began to call for an end of the violence. It was far too late by that point.

Another dose of hypocrisy comes from commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She was another voice during the riots who supported the actions and declared they were inspired by social disparity and the various other mythical offenses she finds in our country. Amusement was found when yesterday people began circulating commie-AOC’s own words on social media, displaying her hypocrisy.

Well, it seems that when people were pointing out how bad this makes her look it also – ironically enough — made her own people uncomfortable. Lauren Hitt, commie-AOC’s communications director, took to Twitter in an attempt to squelch those who were passing around commie-AOC’s own words. Apparently it was hateful and unfair to not even quote her but to display her previously posted comments. She actually tried getting Twitter management to go after those retweeting the post.

Look at the strained attempt to reframe her comments. That ‘’old’’ thread is barely one month old. This makes it not only relevant, it can be pointed to as a tacit call for these actions AFTER the election. These are very recent and valid comments to highlight today. For the staff of the star of Congress to attempt to take action against those sharing the post shows their desperation at being called out.

It also displays their stunted thinking. If they are so dismayed at how commie-AOC is being portrayed (accurately, by the way) why have they not simply removed the post? Instead, they call for the powers to shut down anyone daring to share her words. So be warned — you might not want to copy the link to her tweet, post it on your timeline, and share it with your followers, and encourage others to repeat the process as swell. That might make commie-AOC cranky.

This is a sign that all of the media members and politicians who today are doing all they can to leverage the violence seen yesterday to their advantage, have a challenge at the same time. Those who spent the bulk of last year telling us how understandable and necessary the violent riots have a hard time being taken seriously today as they condemn the rush made on The Hill.

None of this is positioned to defend the activity yesterday. The violence that spilled out and was executed on the Capitol is not to be tolerated. It should be condemned. This follows suit with the same condemnation myself and many others expressed during the violent protests last year. That is called being consistent. What needs to be pointed out are those who today are posturing with outrage after they had excused these same types of actions and reclassified burnt out and looted cities as scenes of ‘’mostly peaceful’’ protests.

These are the people who are inconsistent in their outrage, and today they are upset if anyone notices.
