If a new bill that has been introduced in Congress eventually becomes law, the 2nd Amendment will still be in the U.S. Constitution, but for all practical purposes the rights that it is supposed to guarantee will be dead and gone.  H.R. 127 was submitted on January 4th, and if you have not read it yet you can find the full text right here.  It contains a lot of technical language, and so in this article I am going to try to break down what it means very simply.  Now that the Democrats control the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, there is going to be a major push to ram through some form of gun control legislation.  If it is not this bill, it will be another one, so we need to be diligent.

One of the biggest things that H.R. 127 would do is that it would create a national firearms registration system that would literally be accessible by anyone

HR 127 establishes a federal firearms registration system that will be accessible by federal, state, and local governments, including the military – even the GENERAL PUBLIC! The system will track the make, model, and serial number of all firearms, their owners, the dates they were acquired, and where they are being stored.

So if your neighbor, a co-worker, or someone that just wanted to rob your home wanted to know how you were armed, all they would have to do would be to look it up in the firearms registration system.

This bill would also apply retroactively.

Within three months, you would have to report to the government where you bought all of your guns, when they were purchased, and where they are currently being stored.

Needless to say, if the government knows where all of your guns are being stored, it would make it that much easier to grab them from you at some future date.

H.R. 127 would also require all gun owners to be federally licensed.

That would mean that owning a gun would no longer be a right.  Instead, it would be reduced to a “privilege” that the government could take away at any time.

According to the bill, the licensing procedure would include “a psychological evaluation”

The licensing requirement mandates that the license applicant undergoes a criminal background check, and then submits to a psychological evaluation to determine whether the person is psychologically unsuited to possess a firearm. Successful licensees must show they have an insurance policy which will cost $800.

I know a lot of guys out there that would definitely not want to go through any sort of a “psychological evaluation” by a government-approved psychologist.

    • Sure! That is why I bluntly advocate to send  killer drones and/or special forces to take the response directly to globalist operatives internationally. Our domestic scene is different however. It is harder to kill familiars than strangers. Otherwise, Nature does prove the paradigm "in the field" from predation of skunks, to vipers, poisonous insects and fish. But in considering the compartmentalization of actors, cause and effect must be taken directly to the despot, or he will live another day to attempt his ambitions again.

We actually are at par here.

  • 8512622461?profile=RESIZE_584xi think we outnumber them by a few

    • Liquid Steel... An army of 14 million without a clear chain of command, communications, order of battle, logistics, and strategic and tactile operations plans would be well advised to bring lots of body bags... I would also suggest that numbers alone don't make for a formidable force.  Without airpower, naval forces, armor, artillery, missiles, heavy infantry weapons, and a full range of tactile communications, intel support, and logistics, this force would be seriously handicapped and ripe for massive combat casualties.

It is foolish to believe that an irregular, light infantry force of any size would be capable of overcoming a modern Army with all of its command, intel, and weapons systems... like stated earlier... bring lots of body bags.

    • So you suggest organization could produce results?

I think that would be reasonable.

    • Absolutely, organize nationally as either political parties or as peaceful fraternal organizations... or where possible as standing Sheriff's Possies or State Statutory reserve militia.  Any Armed Militia will need statutory cover or they will be called insurrectionists and Domestic Terrorists.  Contact your local Sheriff and State Legislators... have them promote a Bill if one doesn't already exist to authorize State Reserve Militia's or Standing Sheriff's Posses or Emergency Response Units/Teams.  Use them as the vehicles to organize, equip, train, and establish an interlinking system of local 'defense' against internal insurgencies like happening right now.

The several States already have statutory laws providing for an unorganized Reserve Militia... totally under the control of the State... no federalization provisions... these are however mostly unfunded and are comprised of lists of militia aged veterans and their addresses in the event of a National Emergency.  Well., we have a national emergency and it's time to flush out these reserves ... time to organize them into units with a chain of command and an order of battle.  TIme to provide the essential equipment for communications, logistics, medical and administrative management of such units by the local government or sheriff.

The NG used to serve as a functionary of the States... but the Federal GOvernment saw them are a danger if they should go rouge... and for all practical purposes, the NG has been a federalized force for decades.  It's heavy weapons, armor, supplies, munitions, and equipment ... its officers and enlisted, are indistinguishable from active-duty soldiers and units.  Governors may attempt to mobilize them but will find it very difficult to access their heavy equipment and arms without federal orders/ they no longer reside with the local Armory or units.  A State Reserve Militia would be totally under the Governor's authority returning a limited capability to resist a rogue federal government.

    • I remember about 20 years ago reading tripe about how the irregular militia had a purpose the 1700s and 1800s, but with 1900s modern standing militaries, a citizen militia was obsolete, and had no way of being properly trained in preparation (meaning it had no place in public institutions like schools, or civic organizations).

Guess that was a load, eh?

Perhaps a federalization ability ought to be predicated on state stewardship of materiel in state armories. A robust revival in state level Constitutional representation would serve to flip a Governors role from uncertainty to confirmed Constitutionalist.

That is up to the electorate.

  • No red blooded Patriotic American would ever give into this bullshit! Private sales are the way to go.

    • Strange, that's what the German's and Jews in WW-2 said... in fact, that is how many nations in history believed until push comes to shove and their children and aged were in the line of fire.. or at risk.  That changes a lot of opinions about what one can put up with ... endure.  However, it is a trap as despotic governments put the squeeze on the population a little at a time... like the frog in a pot syndrome ... soon they are cooked without any way to resist.

To put it simply most people would rather be Red than Dead or under the hammer of a depot than buried... What is necessary for our rescue is to provide the masses with leadership and an organization they can put their trust in. An organization capable of leading the Nation out of HELL  without being burnt to a crisp first.

We simply don't have the leadership, RESOURCES, or the willingness of those with the skills and resources to come to the aid of the public... too, provide the plan, the HOPE needed to mobilize the millions to support our Republic and its Constitutional form of government. Hence, we are in a quandary, lost in a maze of hopelessness, without a leader or the resources to convince the public to ACT... take the action needed.

The public will not act unless they believe there is a real chance for success... so far, no one with the leadership and capability  has been willing to step forward to organize the people.  Until we find a leader and the resources we will continue to operate at the outer margins of political power.

    • Ronald, it is indeed sad that "we simply don't have the leadership, resources, or the willingness of those with the skills and resources to come to the aid of the public." I for one am hopeful that Trump is working on assembling resources as we speak. We know that he is the leader of the movement for sure because we the people know that he made America great again and that we can trust him. He has proven himself to us over and over. I trust that Trump is putting together a group of people under his impeccible leadership who are willing to lend their skills and resources to aid the public.
