Flashback May 2020 Assault On The White House: 60 Secret Service Agents Wounded, President Trump Taken to Secure Bunker

The Democrats’ January 6 clown show was worse than even I expected. Their hysterical, pearl-clutching, lie-filled response to the events on January 6th, what Democrats are clearly hoping will be their transformative Reichstag moment, is unseemly, phony to its core, and purely and solely political.
We know this because there was no outrage over the leftist rioters who attempted to stop the peaceful transition of power during President Trump’s inauguration. Not only did anti-Trump leftists riot, attack and injure police, set cars and buildings on fire, but they were later rewarded for this attempt to “subvert Democracy” to the tune of $1.6 million in taxpayer money.
Do you know how many Congressional Democrats (or Republicans for that matter) wailed about our “democracy” on the brink? Do you know how many of these inauguration rioters were hunted down by the FBI, arrested, beaten and mistreated, and held as political prisoners for over a year? Do you know how many of them were harboring blueprints of the Capitol building . . . or wait, that was an unconstructed, still boxed, Lego set not a “model” used for terroristic purposes or whatever random lunacy the FBI preened at that time. If you said zero, you’re right on all counts.
And honestly, I think this clear two levels of justice—one for “righteous” protesters, including those who burned, looted, and murdered their way through Democrat-run cities in 2020, and one for J6 “terrorists”—is the reason that Democrats will never amass anything close to majority support for their January 6th witch hunt.
No matter how many deep state darlings like Liz let’s find a country to bomb Cheney they find to bleat about . . . whatever it is she bleats, they will never have the people’s support for treating what happened on January 6 as if it were Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the Civil War all rolled into one. I mean, really, that’s just crazy—and visibly desperate—hyperbolic verbal vomit.
This failure to convince the American people of their stance is due, in no small part, to their failure to condemn and pursue the criminals guilty of the far worse violence that took place in an attempt to thwart President Trump’s inauguration. Or to condemn and pursue with criminal charges the thousands of local, state, and federal crimes committed by antifa and BLM.
Nor did they condemn the multi-day May, 2020 assault on the White House that left at least 60 Secret Service agents wounded and forced President Trump to be whisked away to a bunker for his personal safety.
Fox News reported at the time:
Numerous Secret Service agents were injured, fires set by rioters blazed near the White House and authorities were searching for car bombs late Sunday as protests over the death of George Floyd continued to roil the capital just two days after President Trump had to be taken to a bunker for his safety.
A senior official in the direct chain of command for defending Washington D.C. told Fox News of the injuries to Secret Service agents, some of whom were hurt by rioters throwing bottles and Molotov cocktails in Lafayette Park, just across from the presidential residence. The official initially put the number of agents injured at over 50, but that may have referred to the weekend toll; the Secret Service has since said the number injured on Sunday was 14.
As observed in New York City and elsewhere, groups in D.C. are planting cars filled with incendiary materials for future use, Fox News is told. U.S. Marshals and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents were deployed to the streets of D.C. in an extraordinary move to beef up security alongside local police and Homeland Security agents, including the Secret Service, the Justice Department confirmed late Sunday. Fox News has learned U.S. Attorney for D.C. Mike Sherwin is heavily involved in the operation.
The would-be presidential assassins seeking to lynch President Trump were reportedly heard screaming “I can’t breathe”, “Black Lives Matter” and “Fuck Donald Trump!”.

Obviously, President Trump wasn’t in any real danger as not one antifa puke or BLM loon breached the WH perimeter, but it was not for a lack of trying. The Secret Service know their stuff, and the National Guard, as we saw above, had to be called in to quash this lunatic rebellion, insurrection, revolution, whatever you want to call it.
Law Enforcement Today also reported on the days-long siege on the White House at the time.
A total of more than 60 officers suffered “multiple injuries”.
This, as rioters through everything from bricks, rocks, bottles and fireworks to other items at them.
Secret Service said officer were also directly physically assaulted, being kicked, punched and “exposed to bodily fluids’.

“WTOP’s Dick Uliano reported from Northeast, close to the District’s line with Prince George’s County, where a car caravan made up of “several hundred vehicles,” each carrying multiple people, was preparing to make its way deeper into D.C.
Uliano said the precise route had not been revealed, but the cars were planning to rendezvous close to police headquarters near Judiciary Square.
“At about 5 p.m., Alvarez reported that there was a surge in the crowd that broke the stalemate between the police and protesters, and pepper spray was deployed, causing protesters to move back toward 17th Street NW.”
While the Secret Service said that six people were arrested on Saturday, D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham said:
“[Officers] did not make any arrests, we did not have any reported uses of force, and we did not have any injuries reported.”
Meanwhile, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is carrying on with her clamoring and furtherance of the racial division narrative.

“D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser called out claims made Saturday by President Donald Trump that many Secret Service agents were ‘just waiting for action’ and ready to unleash ‘the most vicious dogs, and the most ominous weapons, I have ever seen’ if protesters angered by his response to George Floyd’s death had crossed the White House’s security fence as ‘gross.’
Sorry, Democrats, but no normal American is going to jump on your crazy when you let this actual assault on the White House and clear attempt to assassinate our sitting president stand.
When the FBI starts rounding up these actual terrorists who were attempting to assail the White House and lynch our president in some kind of bizarre revolution, I may consider taking your fake claims of outrage over J6 as an assault on our “Democracy” seriously. Until then, sit down. Sit all the way down.
