Obama uses Executive Orders to Strip Gun Owners of
legal Constitutional Gun Weapons Rights
Where do you draw the line in the sand in defense of your life, your family and your community? What happens when the President of the United States, determines that it is illegal for you to use the very guns which are constitutionally protected because he issues an executive order against ownership? What alternative are you left with, and who can you turn to?
Your weapons which are constitutionally protected may need a local sheriff who will stand against the federal tidal wave of unconstitutional White House directives to protect gun rights!
States and local sheriffs in several jurisdictions are leading a resurgent awakening in the nation in protecting the gun rights of citizens from being quashed by federal edicts. In fact, some of these states which are considering legislation to criminalize efforts of federal employees that attempt to enforce gun control executive orders. Some of these states considering legislation action include Alabama, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Texas, and Wyoming, among others.
Reaction to the proposed legislative edicts by President Obama for a reinstated sticker assault-weapons ban and a 10-round limit on magazines is raising concerns by local law enforcement officials. According to CNS News, Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller has already told Vice President Biden in a letter, that he will not enforce any recommended gun laws he deemed unconstitutional.
Another sheriff has joined the growing effort to prevent the assault on legal law abiding citizen’s Second Amendment rights in the state of Kentucky. According to Breitbart, Sheriff Denny Peyman of Jackson County, Kentucky stated recently, “My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold."
A state legislative leader in Texas is tackling this gun control overreach by the Obama administration and gun control advocates. Rep. Steve Toth (R) is planning legislative action to make it illegal for the state of Texas to enforce any federal laws that restrict the constitutional rights of its citizens to own semi-automatic firearms or the size of gun magazines.
Is this not the legal obligation of all local sheriffs and state legislative officials to uphold the dictates of the U.S. Constitution as well as their own state constitution? Is this not their oath of office? In fact, it makes perfect sense that every county, parish and borough in America has a sheriff or law enforcement officials who has taken such an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

They are probably trashing their Glocks 40 or 45 caliber. Cost effective, 22 Long Rifle CCI Stingers, but these are considered marginal for personal defense. It is generally accepted that the 9 mm Luger (Parabellum) is the most cost effective and acceptable for self defense. In a revolver look at the 38 Special +P. Use +P for personal defense and the regular 38 Spl. for target practice.
Another question for all gun enthusiasts here.....I'll be buying a personal protection sidearm soon and I undertand from asking questions at a gun shop that ammo is a prime concern in cost effectiveness.....so what is the best choice for a personal sidearm with the least expensive ammo?
BTW; I spoke with a local Pa. State Policeman today who told me the force here is soon trashing their Glock sidearm in favor of one with more cost-effective ammo.
FYI;
I signed up for a handgun training course today because the gun shop owner recommended it. As soon as I complete the two-hour course which includes firing several different makes of handguns in a target shoot, I'll decide which sidearm I want and make the purchase. Meanwhile I'll be traveling to the county courthouse to fill out the form for concealed carry and pay the 25 dollar fee.
I don't hope to ever have to use a sidearm but if I do it won't be for skeet shooting.....and i won't lie about that, either.
And since Obama has again commited fraud with that fake skeet-shooting photo I expect he would never be approved for a concealed-carry permit.
Isn't that a damned shame for someone who is SUPPOSED to be Commander-in-Chief?!

Thought I'd entertain ya'll a bit... I've said this for laughs before... "I just LOOK like this". LOL. I already have the know-how & the guts to follow-through if I ever need to. I was in band from 5th-12th grades, but also took JROTC in 9th grade so that was the 1st time I learned how & got to shoot an M-16 @Ft. Gordon & did great w/ those topical maps. Many yrs ago, I took the hunter's safety course to get a huntin' license b/c 1st Christmas ('91) after 1st marriage, hubby (now ex) got me a Smith & Wesson 12-ga shotgun w/ interchangeable chokes so I decided to learn & not let him shoot it since that seemed more like him buying himself a present. I got him back Christmas of '92 by getting him a sewing machine... too funny! Last 10 yrs of marriage, we had 13.5 acres & shot a lot just for fun so the neighbor called me Annie Oakley.
I've cleaned rabbits, squirrels (not easy), deer & many fish. I was also in an archery club for about 3 yrs & shot in 3-D tournaments... only got trophies b/c not many women shoot a bow, but I'm pretty sure that experience is what really made me have great aim. I divorced the redneck in '04 & got into my music full-throttle, but I'll never regret the past cuz it made me who I am. If only our gov't would look to the past & learn from it... or at least refresh their memories cuz they've forgotten some key ingredients that made our country great! It's my past that causes me to NOW hold such prized values on MY FREEDOM... b/c I never had any until I was 31 & I fought for 2 yrs to GET it! (a/k/a divorce)
Rock; you bring up a great point....I would have a big problem shooting a drunk or someone high on drugs in self defense.....and Joyce; thanks for the link of that great article on .22 types....and after reading that article I see the author doesn't recommend a .22 for personal protection.....which brings me to the next question.....for availability, minimal cost and stopping power; what is the best recommendation for a handgun....the best gun for the money which is lightweight and easy to carry to protect oneself?
Joyce, what ever weapon you have, master it, that is the key to survival.

This is a question for any experienced shooters out there......I have heard .22 rounds at close range go right through a target that probably won't stop coming at you. Are there .22 rounds available that will flatten or expand upon impact to have better stopping power?
