An Open Letter to Concerned Christian and Conservative Citizens

of California of any Party or Ethnic Background:

My name is Warren Willis. My wife of 46 years passed away and I have recently remarried. We have 20 grandchildrenbetween us and I have two that are fifth generation native Californians. Igrew up in LA and taught school here for several years and then joinedCampus Crusade for Christ. After 44 years, 25 as a missionary in othercountries, ten in Outer Mongolia, I recently retired.

I am presently president and founder of the California School Project. Our purpose is to promote God, theBible and Prayer in the California public school system. You can see ourwebsite at "californiaschoolproject.com." I have put togetherthe following with the permission of our CSP Governing Board.

It seems to me that the crisis in the State of California has reached mammoth proportions. There is an enormousfiscal crisis, a dire directional crisis, an alarming moral crisis, and acritical cultural crisis. The State has come under the control of a majority ofmen and women who have pushed the government to the brink of bankruptcy, havetaken God and the Bible out of the schools and polluted generations of studentswith decadent dictums, and have turned the hearts of the people and our culturefar from the Living God of the Bible, from America’s Founding Fathers andfrom the U.S. Constitution.

Responding to the web letter of the lady in Arizona, “Will someone please stand up!," We dedicate this3-week old PAC to her. I believe that it is time for us to take action and toget into this arena. Obviously we have neglected our civic duties long enough.

I believe that the present situation calls for Biblically dedicated, politically conservative, characterproven, special interest unconnected, Christian men and women to stand up andto run for the available seats in the California State Assembly and Senate inthe 2010 election. In order to simply balance the budget, we believe thatnearly all of the present incumbents would need to be replaced.

If God has been speaking to you about running and you agree with our standards, we would love to have you tojoin our team. If you can't run now, who do you know that would be a goodcandidate.
