This flag was designed by an American Patriot for American Patriots. It is unique in its design, drawing upon the Gadsden Flag of the Revolutionary War, which depicts a rattlesnake and the words "DON'T TREAD ON ME" on a yellow field.
It also draws on the "Join, or Die" woodcut by Benjamin Franklin, which warned the colonies of their need to join forces for the purpose of resisting the harsh policies, taxation and mistreatment of our people by the British Crown. The Join or Die woodcut has subsequently been developed into a patriotic flag.
Our "WE THE PEOPLE" flag has one star representing each state of the union, reminiscent of our national flag. These stars individually identify the state it represents and those states are listed in the order of their admittance to the union, with the USPS state official abbreviation, beginning with Delaware, the first state, and ending with Hawaii, our 50th state to join the union. It also includes the words, "WE THE PEOPLE MUST UNITE, OR DIE" which is symbolic of our need to forget our differences and unite under one standard to prevent and defeat the erosion of our liberties. To allow our government to water down the Constitution and to slowly, but systematically, bring our people under subjection to outright tyranny is to renege on the freedom and liberty that has been bought with the blood of our ancestors and our military.
Though we as Americans have many differences, we have more in common. Our Constitution guarantees all American citizens, no matter what our belief, culture, race, religion, sex or political persuasion; our freedom to believe, to worship, to own property and the right to protect and defend those rights along with the rights of our families and our neighbors, from harm by those who would steal our heritage and take those things from us. THIS........IS THE COMMON THREAD UPON WHICH AMERICANS MUST STAND, AND FIGHT, IF NECESSARY!
