The Silver Bullet that will stop the Beast!!

A friend sent me this and I had to share it with ya'll.

By:  Aaron Cantor (USAF) ret.

A very good friend Michael Kennedy (who just happens to live in the Great State of Texas) sent me an eye opener in response to my previous column “Just What Is The Objective???”.

I have read the Federalist Papers many times over, but due in part I am sure, to advancing old age and shortness of memory, I had forgotten the portion he so graciously sent me, so I am including it here.

ONE piece of instruction from the Founders that would go a long way in righting all this— a near silver bullet to the heart of the beast

ONE piece of instruction from the Founders that would go a long way in righting all this— a near silver bullet to the heart of the beast!

Imagine a whole legislative class, and president focused on this ONE issue:

“The house of representatives … can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as the great mass of society. This has always been deemed one of the strongest bonds by which human policy can connect the rulers and the people together. It creates between them that communion of interest, and sympathy of sentiments, of which few governments have furnished examples; but without which every government degenerates into tyranny.” –James Madison, Federalist No. 57, 1788

  • That Damned Akurian:  that part I get but in the meantime several DINOS/RINOS skate freely and sadly they do not get thrown out (Reid, Pelosi, Waters, Rangel, etc.)

Until we have a PURGE there will be abuse.

  • But they have exempted themselves from laws and still do.

What can we do about it?

  • Coincidentally, in my today's blog, "on the state of mind,"

Is it socialism or the animal desire to control? Aristotle to America’s mastermind: “To invest the law then with authority is, it seems, to invest God and reason only; to invest a man is to introduce a beast, as desire is something bestial, and even the best of men in authority are liable to be corrupted by passion.  We may conclude then that the law is reason without passion and it is therefore preferable to any individual.”

  • What Would Really Happen If Ron Paul Were To Be Elected President?

    Take back our country!

The thieves in Washington have sold us out. Time to clean house.

Make sure you insist on paper ballots and human counts with human verification. Diebold machines promote vote fraud.

  • and one more thing, what is there ? 455 politicians total in congress ?? and they are holding MILLIONS of Legal Citizens hostage !  How is that ? ............ "We the People" better DO SOMETHING NOW!!!!!!!!

  • A Fools Gold Bullet "We" need .......Silver Bullet is for vampires/warewolves!

  • We are the idiots, not them.

  • Not that I disagree but one must ask then why have they not been challenged before, on their current special perks re SS, health care, pensions etc, which are currently all in such contrast with the common man, and especially with retired military personnel!? I personally feel that no legislator should receive pension and retirement benefits that retired military is not entitled to.

  • Perfect. We must hold them to it.

  • Well, this has certainly been abandoned by several congresss over the years, but none as bad as the Reid-Pelosi Congress, who had full power during Obama's first 2 years, and the damnage and economic ripoffs they pulled off is horrendous and possibly irreparable.  Heads ought to roll, and would roll in a just, constitutional world.  But, of course that world is gone and may be irretrievable based o the level of ignorance that is an epidemic in the USA today.
