We need to take back America and take it out of the hands of the politicians that are only in it for their own greed and their own agenda and not that of the American people. I served in the military many years ago and fought in Vietnam and I can tell you this this is not the America I fought for. I feel for the servicemen and women who serve today and lay their lives on the line for a government that does not support them, they are not fighting for the American way of life they are fighting for the greed of some politicians who are lining their pockets at the cost of American lives. With high cost's for food and housing and taxes and everything else and our freedom's slowly being taken away, we need to say enough is enough and put a stop to all this. We need to stand up and Take Back America!

Frank my first oath I was a E-1 Private---that oath differs to the effect that "YOU are bound to the orders from the Officers"-(never did go along with that) BUT it makes NO DIFFERENCE WE know what and WHO WE ARE---there is a DIFFERENCE from COMBAT MARINE--ARMY DOGFACE to those who never had to get involved in FACE to FACE DEATH...in many ways I wish I had NOT seen or been in the shit I was in--but WOULD NOT change a thing --with the exception that MY FRIENDS DIDN'T DIE.
I have yet to find a way to describe what COMBAT really was like in Nam--Can't describe the smells-DEATH and destruction have a SMELL that never leaves you SILL can't get it out of my mind,sounds-including the screams from your friends for help---these TWO were bad but the worst was having one of my best friends BRAINS spatter me--and ALL i got was several shrapnel wounds.
YOU,I and many others who are still alive from back then (est that over half of Nam vets are dead now) KNOW whats coming and if not already "READY" are not far from it...and as I said before WE WILL NOT HAVE AN ROE---FREE FIRE is what WE did in a fire fight and THATS what I and MANY more will be doing--RAISE a WEAPON on me RIGHT NOW and I WILL kill you first---THE DIFFERENCE is IN THE FACT that I ,YOU and OTHERS have already seen death and SPIT in his face--IN other words NOT AFRAID of DIEING!! I-CORP and II-CORP were fun places but DC will be a (as my Grand sons say) A FUN-ER PLACE!!

Just to add to what you said Jeff not just officers but all who join the military take that oath, including myself when I joined way back when. The oath is for enlisted personnel as well as commissioned officers.

YOU do this ONE STEP at a TIME--First FIND THE PEOPLE who will RUN a TEMP GOVT---I can THINK OF SEVERAL and NONE are the TRASH we now have with a FEW EXCEPTIONS....SECOND you put together a FIGHTING FORCE is EVERY STATE--ONE that the STATE GOV.Can't SCREW WITH---this is being done in several states as I write this....THIRD YOU get as many of THE MILITARY behind you that you can and AT THIS POINT THEY ARE MANY--(OBamm thought by firing the TOP he could control the bottom--NOT SO as MANY of the top are still VERY INVOLVED and will HONOR their oath as will 95% of the ACTIVE DUTY OFFICERS) AN Officers oath is to the CONSTITUTION and NOT to anyone,place or PREZ.

That I don't have an answer to, but for sure things need to change unfortunately change for the good usually comes very slowly. When things go bad it seems as if they happen over night, but for things to be made right it seems to take forever.

Valerie i agree the process as it is is to corrupt and does needs to be changed, limits need to be put on how much money these politicians can raise for their war chest it should be even across the board that way you can judge a politician by their character not by how many commercials they can blast in front of you.
The problem I have is I do NOT trust the election process any longer. We've basically become a "banana republic" in my view. With the left owning pretty much all three branches of government I don't see a way to change things.
I agree we should have another party, there is the republican party the democratic party maybe we should have the conservative party. And not like someone running on an independent ticket but an actual party so that the people have 3 candidates to choose from. And that persons life should be documented to make sure they are a true conservative not like these politicians now where one minute they believe in this and the next minute they believe in that and then one minute they are republican and the next minute they are democrat they change their policies to whatever will get them votes. No they need to have principles and stick by them no matter what, not change them just because that's what their party wants and not what the people want. Morals seems to be a big factor today, not to many people running or in politics seems to know what that word means anymore. Today it seems the only prerequisite to run is a good ability to lie with a straight face.
We can't take it back by voting because both parties are allied against We the People??? We need a second political party as we only actually have one party now.
Yes, we have to show the current crop of politicians the door and replace them with what? With men and women who will strengthen national defense and get on with the business of slashing federal functions, both non-defense discretionary AND entitlement programs and the agencies that administer them. In time, that will allow for a 75% reduction in federal spending. Government is meant to be a PROTECTOR, not a PROVIDER. Again, for details, please see:
