State Media

It is no surprise to those of us who pay attention to politics and current events that the mainstream media (or "state media" as I like to call it) has as its primary objectives to occupy our minds with fluff stories concerning sports stars and celebrities, while simultaneously keeping us in the dark with regard to growing governmental tyranny.

I should know by now to avoid turning on the mainstream news channels in an attempt to learn something new. Yet, I keep doing it.

These are not journalists, they are a joke. And the joke is on the viewers that trust and believe in what they say.

I turn to one website that I trust above almost every other: Infowars.com

Thank God there are still those who want to alert the public to hazardous situations while trying the preserve the U.S. Constitution. Thank God for Alex Jones and his radio show.

The mainstream media doesn't have but a small handful of genuine journalists. The rest are left leaning activists, disguised as real journalists. You know what their agenda is and that's the end of it. They'll tell you what THEY are TOLD to tell you and the remaining information apparently just never happened. It's obvious to almost anyone that MSNBC is a great example of what a news station looks and sounds like being broadcast from a mental institution. Maybe Al Sharpton should be asked to jump out a window or something. That would surely increase their ratings. ..........for at least 10+ minutes or so.

Even the last bastion of honest and quasi conservative reporting (FOX News) is far less than they used to be. I'm not implying dishonesty, but some stories clearly involving criminal behavior from the self imposed KING, simply dies on the vine after a few days.

FOX still has a small handful of trusted hosts. After conservatives like Sean Hannity, Neil Cavuto, Eric Bolling, Lou Dobbs and Stuart Varney - there isn't anyone else left. The rest on FOX will provide you with what you'd likely see and hear anywhere else. I thought together with George Will and Dr. Krauthammer that FOX was going to get serious again. Well, so much for my wishes.

I will however, sit in front of the TV when I'm watching my sports and not too much else. I basically rely on the 'new news media' from trusted sources, like the Blaze, Breitbart, The Heritage Foundation, PJ Media, and a few others. And NO, the HUFF post is absolutely NOT a credible centrist source.
