People, there is no need to panic when choosing twixt Romney and Santoroum. Lets first take a brief look at Romney - Of course he is not a Reagan Republican.  There is too much over concern about his Mormonism. Among evangelicals he scores higher than thrice married Gingrich. There are Mormons in the Senate right now. He also served his required 2 years as a missionary in Sudan. He had to do the best he could in getting elected in ultra liberal Massachusetts. He knows if elected he will be under tremendous heat if goes liberal on issues. He has no ties to Washington insiders composed of Senators and Congressmen and is on the same page as ultra conservative Paul Ryan. He understands how China is raping us. He appears strong on defense. I never hear of Mormons going to prison or being involved in extra marital affairs. Romney also has the right temparment to make well thought out important decisions like military action, etc.

Now lets look at supposed squeaky clean Santorum. Santorum evidently blackmailed some animal rights organizations to get certain bills passed. As president he will not be negoiating how bills are written up. He appears to be prone to being hot-headed. He like Romney appears hawkish on the military. Santorum may be more well versed on a wide range of issues from his time in the Senate than what Romney knows. However, Romney knows how to put brilliant people alongside of him from his days as a businessman. I expect Romney to make good cabinet choices, perhaps slightly better than Santorum would.

In sum , we must NOT devour our candidates as that only plays into the hands of the Obamamaniacs and left wing media.  It is too late for any Reagan-like Republican to step forward, so we have to play the political hand we have been dealt as far as candidates goes. Both Romney and Santorum have far more integrity than the traitorous Obama. We have to believe that both Romney and Santorum are aware of the radical Islam threat, but lets not get overly paranoid. Much of the radical Islamist are now splinter groups with no real head, as many of their leaders have been assassinated by our military. I hope Sarah Palin keeps any negative comments about Romney to herself or those negative comments about Santorum spoken by others. Both of these men would be fantastic improvements over Obama.

TAKING BACK AMERICA IS OUR MAJOR OBJECTIVE !! LETS NOT LET THE MEDIA DESTROY OR ATTACK OUR CANDIDATES, INSTEAD EXPOSE THE DEMS SO WE CAN GET A MAJORITY IN THE SENATE AND CONGRESS.

  • The comments of Anthony Thannisch on the blog ' Romney and Santorum who is the lessor flawed candidate' are so very right on the money, and additionally enlightening for those who may not be aware of the history of our debt spiral that will be over 16 TRILLION dollars with no end in sight. Anthony sums up by clearly pointing out the hypocracy of Obama who voted as senator for the debt spiral created by Bush and which he has now expanded 4 times over, yet seeks to distance himself from now. As Obama attempts to move to the center and express concern over unemployment, etc., God help us if he is gifted with a second term when he will move right back to the extreme left and let unemployment climb back up even further while letting our debt spiral out of control ala Greece. Lets keep in mind people that Obama has not had an awakening of reality but is merely selling us snake oil and conning gullible Americans until the election is over. The question is how many Americans will fall for his sales pitch.  He has no real identification with Western and American values and actually believes in his heart of hearts in a socialist utopian State.

  • I think any of the 4 remaining Republican candidates are better than Barak Obama. It would be nice if they would stop the personal attacks on each other and speak about the issues and show just how bad Obama's stance on all the issues really is.

  • Mr. Ron Brooks - With regards to any write-in candidate like Mitch Daniels or others it may be too late in the game for that now. However, if Santorum and Romney remain neck and neck in the primary count of delegates a brokered convention would then take place where delegates can switch their votes or place other names into the mix. There are at least 3 very strong conservative Senators that could be considered for the top or bottom of the ticket, including: John Cornyn of Texas, JIm Demint of South Carolina,  Rand Paul of Kentucky ( not to be confused with his wacko father Ron), and Congressman Paul Ryan. Marco Rubio of Florida of course also if he is in fact eligible as a native born citizen. Mitch Daniels has said that because of his wife's wishes he will not be available.

A unsubstantiated rumor has been floated that Romney if nominated might choose 43-year old Sen. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire as his V.P. This would not be good! The stakes are too high for any risky move like that. Although, the Democrats aka socialists may have just floated this rumor on purpose to turn people against Romney.

  • Mr. James C. Watson - Agree, Romney is the more moral man and hopefully with that will have the integrity to do what he promises. As president he wouldn't have to prostitute himself by degree to the liberal cabal as he did to get elected in Massachusetts. I haven't detected a gray area regards gun control with any of the Republican candidates who have voiced their comments during the debates. A concern with Romney is his being to gentlemanly with Obama in any final presidential debate, as the stakes are too high for the velvet glove approach in evicting Obama from the Whitehouse. Santorum has shown no qualms in this regard but he tends to come off hot headed at times which might turn off voters.

  • Based on what I have read , Mitt Romney is the more moral man of the two and has a big heart to go along with that.

He supported Gun Control measures so I do have an issue with him on that.

Was he serving the constituency of Massachusetts ?  or  acting as he would in the White house ?

That is the 64 dollar question

  • we do have another chose  and thats  M Daniels the Gov of IN.If we ask him to run as a independence then we really would have someone to help us to help or son and daughter to have abetter life.

If we all stand together and show him we really want him he would run even if we had to start a write in cam-pain. Romany will never do any thing to hurt his Church even if it will hurt us.Romany said he graves because it is the right thing to do but per his church law he must gave10%  all he will be remove. Romany is only saying what he knows we want to hear but he will not do it. As for the other why would any one want to put someone back in office who been they or move someone to a higher office who is still they.I do not know So again we need to have M.Daniels run for office he really will look out for us. That just my feeling

    Thanks
