Do you believe that parents should be able to spank their children? Do you ever express that opinion to others? If so, then you could be sent to prison. Sadly, that is exactly what happened to one pastor up in Wisconsin recently. A minister named Philip Caminiti was sentenced to 2 years in prison for simply teaching that parents should spank their children when they misbehave. Please note that Caminiti was not accused of spanking anyone or of physically hurting anyone. He was put in prison simply for his speech. He was put in prison simply for what he was teaching others to do. Whether you agree with spanking or not, this should be incredibly sobering for all of us. Increasingly, speech is being penalized in the United States. Much of the time, the focus of the attacks by the forces of political correctness is on religious speech. If this trend continues, many of you that are reading this article might be put in jail for the things that you say in the coming years.
***Please Note: I am not defending anything that Phil Caminiti does or teaches. In fact, a lot of things that he teaches are dead wrong. What I am alarmed about is that a minister was put into prison solely for things that he said. If they will do that to him, how soon will it be before they start putting other ministers in prison?***
When many of us were growing up, once in a while our parents would take out a belt or a wooden paddle and give us a paddling on the behind when we did something wrong.
Was there anything wrong with that?
Of course not.
Yes, there is real child abuse that goes on out there, but in the vast majority of instances spanking does not do any lasting physical harm. Rather, it benefits the child because it helps them learn what is right and what is wrong.
I know that when I got a licking on the behind as a child that helped me to remember not to do the same thing again.
But Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi was absolutely horrified that some parents would actually use a wooden spoon to spank their little children when they misbehaved.
Perhaps that judge should actually try to spank someone with a wooden spoon some time. You simply cannot do much damage with a wooden spoon.
Instead of going after the parents who were doing the spanking, prosecutors chose to go after the pastor instead. They claimed that Caminiti was "the spoke in the wheel of this conspiracy".
Even after Caminiti leaves prison, he will be forbidden from having any contact with his old church....
Caminiti will be on extended supervision for six years after his release from prison. Despite objections on constitutional grounds by Caminiti's lawyers, Sumi ordered that he not have any contact with the Aleitheia Bible Church and have no leadership role in any church.

Remember Bev, They don't really believe in Hell but they do Allah! Me I'm a God Faring, U.S.Constitutional Packing, SOB that served his Country without ever expecting anything in return except that of Full Respect. Korea might be commonly called "The Forgotten War" but Viet-Nam to me will always be "The Forgotten Warriors". I can only hope through some of my efforts in my Community with what I'm doing, I can make some kind of difference to make sure the people "Never Forget and will always respect our men and women who serve their Republic!
So when, exactly are they going to put all the Muslims in jail for advocating beating their wives, the clerics, etc??? Would that be when hell freezes over?
Instead of "Reverse Psychology" I'd be Implementing a "Reverse Role of Imprisonment for the Judge for Disobeying "The Rule Of Law" via our Constitution of the "First Amendment" post haste! I would be willing to bet that the Judge would be a woosie/ wimp in the SLAMMER for sure.
If the family is Islamic Muslim and following sheria law then all the parent has to say is that family Honor is at stake.. So the parent kills the child and all is forgiven. That is the terrorists muslim way under sheria law..
The judge and the authorities that brought this to the courtroom should be the ones to go to jail. If all the crooked, evil judges, lawyers, politicians, and the like were in jail or sent to a private island with no escape, America would be the perfect place to raise a family and do God's work.
Spare the rod and spoil the child. There's a huge difference between spanking an unruly child and abusing same. Teaching accountability at an early age is one of the best gifts parents can give their children. There are those who would argue this point and say "no" and spanking hurts a child's self esteem, but I believe it builds esteem to teach right from wrong and consequences. I'm not advocating brutal spankings, but showing disapproval in a light way at an early age followed with setting good loving examples is not harmful to one's self esteem. I found "No" to be one of my favorite words when my children were younger and they learned at an early age no meant no. All my children are grown and educated and thriving members of society with whom I share great affection.
This is outrageous, if all is true, the judge in this case needs to be put in jail for abuse of power. I cant believe this even went to court ? LOOK OUT AMERICA The devil is closing in......

These representatives of our nation had declared America’s independence from England, generally, on the idea that all men are created equal and possess certain rights, those including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But they decided not to consider a Bill of Rights. They decided to limit the debate to states rights. When the Constitution was presented, the American people demanded the that the principles of Magna Charta be included in a Bill of Rights. The Constitution, as presented, could not be ratified by the states.
Unfortunately, “the people” was limited to people with property, which included black slaves. That flaw in the law of the land has been corrected, not by the makers and keepers of the law, but by the American people.
Article I, section 8 of the Constitution, known as the General Welfare Clause, spells out all that Congress has the power to do. If you read all that Congress is permitted to do, you will not read that Congress, by any stretch of the imagination, is allowed to tax anyone out of a basic existence. The Fifth Amendment of the Bill of Rights gives the individual the right to be heard in a meaningful way in a meaningful place. But the Declaratory Judgment Act allows that if the case has already been heard, it will not be heard again.
The case I brought to America’s courts was that of the IRS taxing me out of existence. The courts used the Declaratory Judgment Act to dismiss me. I was before the Supreme Court. The Attorney General’s lawyer told the Court that the IRS made a “regrettable mistake,” but that it had been corrected. This is true. What was left out was that the IRS made the same mistake again. If the Court had read my case, it would have known. The Court either did not read my case or it ignored the facts. That matter was heard by a district court. After telling the Supreme Court a bald faced lie, the Attorney General admitted to the district court that the IRS had “wrongfully” taken my property. He agreed to refund it. After refunding my property, the IRS went to my bank and demanded every cent in my bank account; that is, my rent and grocery money. The district court refused to reopen the case. It took the court record to The Palm Beach Post. The Post investigated. The IRS could not come up with an excuse. The Post printed a front page story on my eleven year battle with the United States. The IRS, by “mistake,” put me on the street.
Your government permits itself to make limitless mistakes. But if you make one mistake, you go to jail. Those we place in authority have the penchant to say don’t do as I do, do as I say. In my case, there was not one peep from anyone, and there isn’t now. Why are you complaining now about the First Amendment violation? Long ago, your representatives trashed your Constitution. Best that you do as you are told. You might find yourself in jail.

This is a radical liberal judge that shouldn't be in office.. She has no right to put this man in jail for telling parents to spank their kids...I was spanked as a child (not beaten) and believe me I knew I better not do that again....I spanked my kids and they have all grown up to be law abiding people and have respect for others...Just type in her name and read about her...it is amazing..This pastor should be set free and who is she to say he can't return to his church???? We are undergoing an attack on religion and the mainstream media doesn't even report it... Nov. can't come soon enough... First they try and tell us what we can and can't eat and now they tell us we Can't spank our kids...Wake up America before it is too late...They are on a mission to control everything about our lives (Communism) and unless the people wake up it will happen... God help us....
