March Across America

I am iitiating the March Across America. This is not a march in the typical sense. Instead it is a concerted effort to cease in the doing any business with any business owned, operated or that employees illegal aliens. I invite all Tea Party members to unite and disseminate this information to all other Tea Party members, friends and family. If this is done as a genuine movement, in these times of a dissentegrating econmy, it can have a major effect. Once the march is organized and moving forward, it can be made aware to the media. It is there that it will genuinely gain recognition as a reality. In doing so, the media can spread the word and get more individuals on board, while letting the illegals as well as the employers of such, as to the reason for their mysterious decline in business. Let's cut off their income and we can start to take away their reasons to be here.

  • If it is immoral to traffic in women and bring them into this county to work in as prostitutes, it is just as immoral to bring people in and take advantage of their status to pay them less - I see NO difference.

A pimp is a pimp is a pimp.

  • BTW - My last comment was a reply to you Wayne - should have said that at the opening!

    LOL! Otherwise it gets confusing!

  • Well, let me give you my take on that.  I have a lot of family in California who are latino, and many friends here in Texas who are latino, but their families were here when Steven Austin and the other Texas colonists were here.  Calling them anything else other than Texans is like fighting words to them - and they dont like illegals either.  My aunt in LA is a naturalised citizen.  She married my Uncle years and years ago when he was in Mexico City and all of their children are solid American citizens, so lets not make it such that, "if you see a latino its automatic that they are illegal - that would not be accurate, realistic, or fair to my brothers and sisters who serve in the military who are ethnically decribed as latino.

Now...as to the numbers thing, you are absolutely 100% right!  All those latinos you now see in NC? At least 85% illegal, if not more.  But I think the danger is, if you just base it on "that guy looks latino, ergo, he is illegal..."  Well, I think we can both agree you just gave the opposition the chance to make stick their tried and true form of attack = you are automatically a racist.

I think the way to go about this is a little more subtle.  Here is an example.  I know legal immigrants from Mexico and guess what?  They can speak english.  If you go into a place, and I have had this happen, and you start to speak to an employee and they cannot converse with you in simple english, but only speak spanish - you are 99.999% for sure talking to an illegal.  I had a manager walk up and shoo his employee away so I couldnt continue talking to the guy.  I could tell he didnt want people talking to his crew. That was a tell.

Since none of us have the right or authority to look at peoples green cards, I think this is the stuff you zero in on.

I love my latino friends - one is my business partner!  But he, like many others, has been in this country for just as long as most of my ancestors and I would never want to see them caught up and treated in any way other than as Americans.  See?  This is why it SHOULD be the govt. doing the enforcement!  They can ask to see papers.  We need to drive this point home like a frieght train with our elected officials so they do the damn job we elected them for:  "To protect and defend the constitution."

Sorry if I rambled a bit, but that was pretty much off the top of my head!

    ;)

  • Robert, You are right about getting people who work for companies that hire illegals to come forward.  Yes, that would be a deal breaker.  But, there are many business that we all go to where you can see for yourself the hispanic employees.  Now it is not for us to determine if they are here legally or not.  If one so much as suspects their legal status, you just don't do business there.  Look at like this, if you are a residential builder, and you lose only one or two sales of homes because you are using illegal alien labor, believe me, you will replace those illegals immediately.  A builder would much rather every subcontractor they have employed go hungry before they lose one single sale.  It is unimportant as to the legality of the employee.  Until we have made it clear, if you you have employees that even look like they are illegal, then you won't have our business.  I live in NC, and 30 years ago we may have had fifteen hispanics in the entire county.  Today, I would estimate that there are more than 30,000.  NOW YOU TELL ME, WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT THEY ARE ALL LEGAL.  And, I know that a lot of bleeding hearts are going to say that since we can't tell if they are legal or not, we could be making innocent people pay.  Well let me ask you....when they have come over here by the millions and taken jobs, forcing many American citizens into bankruptcy and foreclosures, do you really think any one of them give a shit about how their presence here has hurt the American citizen as a whole?  NO!!!... I could really give a damn whether the hispanic working at the grill, gas station or anywhere else is legal or not.....I will not do business there.

  • you have a point.  It's sad that our government no longer has pride in what we have.

  • I had to read that a few times before I sent you that....I just knew you couldn't mean exactly what is said.. But, taking into to consideration what you really did mean, that is not at all a bad idea. The real stick the mud is determining who gets the assistance. Thats why it would be better to use the proceeds from such events to fund the programs that are implemented to fight against the illegal immigration problem. Understand, these illegals honestly believe that they are rightfully here and are entitled to all the benefits as an American citizen. And they feel that way rightfully so, because our government has showered them with rewards for breaking the law.
  • I have to agree with Wayne.  I too feel for the guy with the construction subcontractor business who feels the only way to win at all is to hire illegals - but that guy is WRONG.  All companies who engage in the hiring of illegals are themselves breaking the law and they are damaging the ability for actual Americans to make a decent wage.  IM IN!

I think if we could "out" some major companies and expose this, it could domino like this:  Since most of them dont fear govt. enforcement, pubic humiliation could be the lever that works- then other companies might step up and get rid of illegals just to be ahead of the curve and not be exposed as law breakers.

Now...the first problem I see is this: Access to the information.  I think the only way to gain access is to convince folks who work for companies that hire illegals to step up and say so publicly, which is unlikely, as they could and probably would lose their jobs.  Thats a deal killer.

What they could do is report it to Wayne's March Group and then let the Group make the public announcement - that could work....just trying to think this through...

As to the cross talk about finding out what others are doing, I agree - there needs to be more commo if we are going to get more out of this site and others like it.  I posted a blog about my project and I dont think anyone has even read it, which was a disappointment as I thought it might attract some interest.  It is something I have been working on for over two years and I have had the hell beat out of my by leftist open border types until they ran off my funding.  It was, to say the least, a disappointment.  I am hoping to find volunteers to help my associates and I to finish the project and get it out there in front of the American People before the next election.

  • yeah that is not at all what I was trying to say.  I am talking about helping those that dont.  They need assistance to compete with the companies that do hire illegals. I guess I did not proof read sorry about that.

  • Logan, the whole idea is to crush the businesses that hire illegals, whether they have only one illegal employ or one hundred.  The number they employ is immaterial, it is the fact that they employ them at all is the entire point.  Why would we want to help or assist businesses that hire illegals???

  •

Just thinking out loud but what about doing charitable concerts and donating to business that are struggling because they employ only illegals.  Many business that have to compete with other companies that hire illegals fail because they can not cut prices as low as those employing illegals.  If we can create a movement to not only just use those businesses but actively help the struggling ones then maybe we can eventually completely overshadow illegal alien hiring companies.
