progressivism (16)

(I spy on the extremist from time to time - okay, all the time - (know your enemy) and we SHOULD all join them, infiltrate THEM for a change, counter protest now that we know when and where ahead of time and vote on their evil plans. This was an email letter I received.  So I may have also lied to get in... sue me. My commentary is in red... I could not resist.)

More ways to fight back against Tea Party extremists and right-wing corporations.

Dear Mitchina,

Thanks for signing our petition yesterday and joining CREDO Action — I wanted to tell you a bit more about who we are and how we fight for progressive change. (socialism)

CREDO is a social change organization that fights for progressive values. (socialism has no values) Like protecting a woman's right to control her own body. (but will tell everyone what to not eat, or say, or do in resistance to anything BUT socialism) Fighting back against radical attacks on our environment. Or trying to rid our political system of the toxic influence of corporate money. (I believe that includes themselves... so there is an upside to this one) CREDO Action organizers Elijah Zarlin and Becky Bond (remember these people and maybe picket their homes in real Liberal Style) deliver a petition to Elizabeth Warren.

Recently, we've helped block the Keystone XL pipeline, defended Planned Parenthood from defunding, convinced advertisers to drop Rush Limbaugh, and pressured Coca Cola to stop funding ALEC. (here they are - you need to go get 'em)

Working for social change has been at the heart of our work since 1985. (but I am sure not adequately funded until recently by Soros to put them in the game) And we've learned many lessons in over 25 years of progressive activism. We believe that real change comes from the grassroots, not the insiders in Washington DC. (liberal grassroots = useful idiots)

And while we lose many more fights than we win, (thanks to us, the Tea Party) we know that if we fight hard for what we really want (rather than preemptively caving as part of some backroom deal), we can shift the debate in a more progressive direction and sometimes we even win victories that no one thought was possible. (more like most of them due to false claims of injustice or so often of racism) As a member of the CREDO Action email list, you will also get to vote for organizations like Planned Parenthood, Rainforest Action Network and Democracy Now! to receive funding from CREDO. (let's all go there and vote no every time... that would really piss them off)

CREDO has a phone company (CREDO Mobile) (CHECK - on boycott list) that generates donations for non-profits fighting for progressive issues. We donate 1% of our customer's phone bills to 40 non-profits every year. Over the last 25 years, we've donated over $70 million, including more than $2 million to Planned Parenthood — $200,000 just in 2011. (we need to start soliciting our side's non-profits to do this if they do not already or make some campaign for companies to do this)

The votes of our customers and CREDO Action members (that's you) (no it isn't I am just a spy) will determine how much they receive.

Liking CREDO on Facebook is a great way to connect with us on a daily basis.  (I suggest we all go there and see what they are doing or at least put in our own 'trollage team' posting just to be ornery)

Every day, the political team at CREDO shares the articles we're reading and things we're thinking about on our Facebook page. (know your enemy) Then we look to our Facebook fans — that's you! (again, you're on crack if you think I have the same mental disease as yourselves) — for thoughts on the issues, and we often take your opinions into account when we decide what campaign to pursue next. (think we can all fool them into thinking with common sense?)

If you have ever wanted to be part of the process and want your opinions to shape our work, this is a great way to do so.

We're also working to defeat Tea Party Extremists (now THAT is me in an extreme nutshell.. *rolls eyes*) who are waging a war on women, science and equality, and we'd love for you to join us.

The Tea Party Congress elected in 2010 has been the most extreme in history. (except they forget the beginning of our history was further right than us.. what dopes!) They literally cast votes to redefine rape and to let women die by allowing doctors to deny life-saving medical care. (I didn't really catch that detail from any conservative.. in their platform statement or otherwise... are these people on meth?) CREDO has formed the CREDO SuperPAC to defeat and hold accountable ten of the most odious Tea Party members of Congress. (we need to support the fine congress members)

Learn more and help defeat the Tea Party Ten. (as we should be running to go learn this...)

Thanks again for your activism. You'll be hearing from us soon about urgent opportunities to sign petitions, make calls, attend meetings and protests, and more. (knowing ahead of time where they will be will allow us to wage a counter attack of protestors and a disruption of their meetings.. tit for tat I say) Progressive values are under assault every day in Congress, (THANK GOD) and it's vital that we stay engaged to keep raising critical pressure on decision makers when it matters most.

We'll keep fighting (literally) and we're glad you're with us.

Becky Bond,

Political Director

CREDO Action from Working Assets (type here - it was meant to be "asses")

Obama's LIES Get Out of Hand

Last poll out:  48% of Americans give President Obama POOR marks on the economy and 16% gave him a fair rating; while in another only 17% say “we’re headed in the right direction,” yet mainstream-media (MSM) “journalists” waxed orgasmic praising his recent speech comparing himself to Teddy Roosevelt.  The MSM ignored its responsibilities and its homework again.  Of his 40+ claims in Osawatomie, KS, historical research backs up:  one.   There is strong connection between Mr. Obama and TR, America’s first Progressive president, who did some good, virtually all outside Constitutionally-required processes (Panama Canal land grab; national parks; naval expansion) during his imperial Obama-like presidency.  Roosevelt’s 1912 Bull-Moose third party (officially “Progressive Party”) opposed and lost to ultra-progressive big-spender Woodrow Wilson who brought us Federal Reserve Banking and the IRS.

Obama’s speech ignored all capitalism’s benefits; proclaiming free market capitalism NEVER worked”: thus absolutely rewriting history and LYING to us, Mr. President.  You mentioned several decades illustrating the “failure of capitalism” and denying innovation and success by free markets and supply-side economics implying that the progressive-controlled decades NOT mentioned by you were great successes economically.  Really now??   Weren’t the late 19-teens, the 1930’s, and 1970’s:  economic disasters?  On the other hand, the decades you labeled “failures” were superbly prosperous, for example, dramatic reductions in government size, spending, taxes and debt by Harding/Coolidge quickly ended Wilson’s 1919-21 depression; America boomed.  Auto production rose 191%;   (state) highway construction mileage increased 1,030%; airplane travel expanded 7,100%; and despite sound money the average person’s salary in eight years rose 38% . . . without punishing the rich.

You don’t trust these verifiable statistics?  Marxist bigwig Leon Trotsky was ecstatic about $18 per month average American apartments with telephones, private toilets/baths, gas ranges, elevators, electric lights, etc. NOT found in Europe.  EVIL capitalism’s a rising tide lifting all boats so the typical poor in America have computers, dishwashers, and color TVs.  America, the world’s first Constitutional Meritocracy, is a shining beacon for Planet Earth.

Progressivism = Reactionary Politics,
Nihilistic Economics and Human Slavery

Most thinking voters now realize, progressivism is a hideous political philosophy based upon the belief that we must ‘progress’ beyond ‘the ill-conceived and outdated U.S. Constitution’ in order to make progress toward an earthly Utopia. What most, even clear thinking, people don’t realize is that under the guise of “modernity” progressivism is an utterly reactionary approach to government. Totalitarian states and socialism have been the norm of human existence. Protecting people’s right to self-govern, is something virtually unheard of across history. It is freedom for individuals; and economic freedom; and documents that proclaim those individual and economic freedoms which are comparatively new on the world scene.
This great experiment, this United States that has stood as the “Shining City on the Hill” for the world to aspire to . . . that is something most rare. Despite the specious modernity of the word ‘progress,’ progressivism means rule by elites and that is as old as human history. Until some people somewhere else create a society, a government, a promise of human excellence better than American at her peak . . . the driving force in human political aspiration must be to recreate and imitate America at her peak . . . and for Americans: to return to and surpass that peak.
Has the world really made such great progress since our Constitution was born in 1787 and purified in 1791 with the addition of the Bill of Rights? Think even further back to the Declaration of Independence . . . think on the inspiring words of Calvin Coolidge as true today as when he spoke about the Declaration of Independence a full 85 years ago:
It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern.  But that reasoning cannot be applied to this great charter.  If all men are created equal, that is final.  If they are endowed with unalienable rights, that is final.  If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final.  No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions.  If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people.  Those who wish to proceed in that direction cannot lay claim to progress.  They are reactionary.  Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers.

In this moment in history when our present American president has no compunction whatsoever about moving us toward his sorry vision of Utopia . . . all of his supporters fooling themselves that they are racing headlong into a beautiful and rarely glimpsed future . . . imagine their shock if they were ever to succeed and then necessarily discover how much of all that they’re striving to so cavalierly toss onto the trash heap of history is what all of mankind has so long been aspiring toward. A great pity that great classics like George Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm or Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World are no longer read and people instead watch sitcoms and reality television . . . .
As for our “fearless leader,” it’s a great misfortune that unlike Coolidge who treated his place in history very humbly, saying  "It is a great advantage to a president, and a major source of safety to the country, for him to know that he is not a great man” -- it is obvious that Barack Obama mistakenly believes himself to be a great man.  While Coolidge lived to serve his countrymen, Barack Obama lives that his countrymen might more deeply serve him.

** In contrast, in Obama’s world today’s debt is how we enslave tomorrow’s children.  Notice how the Coolidge quotes like Coolidge himself are soft-spoken but when you think about them you see just how powerful the concepts behind them are:  for example,  the ones above a) tying the rise of civilization to the rise of profits or surplus b) putting forward a reverse angle view of the Robin Hood mentality that would pull the rich down by taxation c) and d) tying in with b) and showing collectivism, progressivism, Marxism, socialism, and etc. up for the false religions they are and e) bringing up the duty we owe to posterity and a warning against enslaving them via debt while more obviously showing us the only proper way to live.  By comparison, the more you examine Obama's words, the more empty they become . . . .

21 Facts You Presumably Know (#1-21 with #19 referring directly to the actions of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner)

7 Facts You May Not Be Aware of (A-G with letter G referring directly to the actions of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner)

The obvious conclusions . . . .

21 Facts You Presumably Know

  1. In 1975 the United States had by far the highest private home ownership in the world with 64%.  Besides newcomers to the workforce, college students, the young and the scarcely-educated, virtually every American with gumption could own** their own home after a few years of renting.

  2.  In 1975 the “suspect” home loan rate stood at roughly 0.24% or only about one in every 404 loans. Before 1977, the usual and customary down payment had long been 20%. These suspect loans granted at 3% down payment or less were not only exceedingly rare, they were typically granted to veterans with jobs and great credit working their way through college under the GI Bill.

  1. In 1985 the suspect home loan rate had risen to roughly 0.51% or about one in every 196 home loans. Something small had changed . . . . What?

  1. In 1995 the suspect home loan rate was roughly 14% or about one in every seven home loans. Something big had changed . . . . What?

  1. By 2005, just two years before the financial meltdown, about the time of widespread PUBLIC realization that sub-prime home loans were causing huge problems: the suspect home loan rate was roughly 34% or more than one in every three home loans. Something enormous had changed . . . . What?

  1. Between item #2 and item #3 above, in 1977 two things had changed. The Community Reinvestment Act was passed in 1977 (CRA ’77) by the Carter administration and Democrat’s House and Senate. For the first time in history home loan lenders were forced to knowingly make bad loans to unqualified would-be home buyers.

  1. Wade Rathke, a lieutenant of George Wiley, (more on this later) in 1977 with the passing of CRA ’77 created the Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) which was a “test organization” (more on this later) with two commandments from Wiley, Richard Cloward, and his wife Frances Piven (more on all of them later) in 1975, following up on this TRIO’s expressed desiderata for their followers to expand their endeavors (more on this later) into 1. Voter registration and 2. Home lending. Arkansas was chosen because of the existence in that small state of an up-and-coming young politician (the lieutenant governor elected in 1976, Bill Clinton) and his wife were very compatible with the TRIO’s politics.

  1. Between item #3 and item #4 above, in 1977 six major things had changed. ACORN had been approved of and expanded to all 50 states. The ACORN acronym had been switched to a new meaning: Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Voter registration activities which had elected their candidate in Arkansas were now expanded to the entire country; and their overload-the-CRA ’77-law campaign that had already doubled the suspect loan rate of the whole nation just by their efforts in Arkansas was likewise a nation-wide campaign.

  1. Bill Clinton, the ACORN candidate, had been elected governor of Arkansas for 12 of the next 14 years.

  1. Clinton had become the ACORN president in 1992.

  1. President George H. W. Bush who prevailed on 45 of his 46 vetoes did not veto a big bill he was largely in favor of. His veto was needed for a small part of that bill which added in an expansion of CRA ’77 to federal mortgage agencies Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae.

  1. President Clinton used his Presidential powers to expand CRA ’77 in 1993 by huge regulatory fiat.

  1. President Clinton out-maneuvered the Republican Congress and got CRA law expanded twice during 1995. By the way, President Barack Obama was an ACORN lawyer for two years before and after this time, browbeating home mortgage companies and banks into making knowingly unwise loans to undeserving unqualified home loan applicants. He was known for also getting ACORN contributions simultaneously.

  1. Between items #4 and #5 only one major change took place in CRA ’77 but it was huge! Bill Clinton was now popular again and he was able to get a steroid version^^ of CRA ’77 passed in 1998.

  1. The changes after the CRA steroid version was passed in 1998 were no longer just quantitative but hugely QUALITATIVE as well. To wit:

  1.
    1. It became easier for ACORN to push for $440,000 homes after 2000 then it had been to seek $110,000 homes in 1990.
    2. Not having a job; having only food stamps to declare as “income” and having horrific credit ratings were no longer a problem in buying very expensive homes.
    3. Across the Southwestern United States even illegal aliens were able to get CRA-guaranteed treatment from ACORN.
    4. Many of these CRA loans were now being made to EVEN LESS qualified loan applicants than before. A large percentage of these loans were now granted at 0% down payment.
    5. To repeat, by 2005, suspect home loans had risen to 34% of all home loans.

  1. In November, 2003 James Stack of Investech.com began running a chart of the Housing Industry Bubble in stocks within the home-building and financial industry and discussing the danger to the economy from the sub-prime lending crisis. The Stack Housing Industry Bubble showed a 1400% increase. Housing prices had been booming for well over a decade.

  1. By early January, 2005 (less than 14 months later), the Bush administration had become seriously concerned about this problem. Their bill to repeal virtually all the most dangerous provisions of CRA legislation was defeated by Congressional Democrats.

  1. Bush would make a total of 19 speeches about the sub-prime lending process and seek to change CRA legislation for the next 30 months. Finally, in July, 2007 a full two years and a half after the Bush administration had begun trying to change CRA law, a very weak bi-partisan bill was passed by the Congress.

  1. That new law would prove to be way too little, way too late . . . but it would definitely help avoid much of the worst potential consequences of the sub-prime lending crisis. While the Obama administration was passing on the lie about Bush, conservatives, and the free market causing the financial meltdown (“driving the car into the ditch”), one honest and thinking man within the administration, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner recognized the truth and spoke it. In mid-2010, Geithner praised Bush for his efforts and eventual success in passing the July, 2007, anti-CRA law. Geithner said that Bush’s actions prevented a decline into a much worse recession and especially for an all-out plummeting of home prices.

  1. As mentioned the new law helped but proved too little, too late to turn things totally around . . . and the financial meltdown hit us hard.

  1. On at least 206 occasions, President Obama has used the “car (economy) in the ditch” metaphor implying that he and the Democrats and especially the Progressives within both parties had nothing to do with the problem. This is a lie. For 34+ years the Progressive laws have violated the free markets and forced low-down payment and no-down payment loans which must be granted to totally Undeserving and Unqualified home loan applicants.

7 Facts You May Not Be Aware of

A.              Following the “War on Poverty” and “Great Society” initiatives of the Lyndon Johnson administration, in mid-1966, Richard Cloward and Frances Piven, two neo-Marxist sociology professors from New York’s Columbia University who admitted being inspired by the Watts Riots and the writings of Saul Alinsky, published an article in The Nation magazine entitled The Weight of the Poor: a Strategy for Ending Poverty. The article suggested that by “overloading” the nation’s newly expanded welfare system and using poor citizens as storm troopers . . . a financial crisis could be brought about forcing the then-dominant Democratic party to see that a GNI (Guaranteed National Income) law be passed and thus POOF! In one fell swoop ending poverty. This “overload the system and create orchestrated chaos” plan has been much discussed by the left-wing and become known as “Cloward-Piven Strategy” or “C-P Strategy.” The suggested Saul Alinsky tactics within this strategy included “street theater" demonstrations and “making them live up to their playbook.”
B.                              In 1967 Cloward and Piven and a Black militant Marxist, George Wiley, created the NWRO (National Welfare Rights Organization) to put C-P Strategy to work. They were able to put four million new recipients onto the New York State welfare rolls and almost double that many onto the nation’s welfare rolls between 1968 and 1970. A huge number of these additional welfare people lived in New York City.
C.                              Between 1968 and 1975 the NWRO had placed over eight million new welfare recipients on the rolls in New York State and almost sixteen million new people onto the rolls. A virtual two year long recession from early 1973 to January 1975 hit the stock market with its biggest losses since the Great Depression. In 1975 NYC went bankrupt and was bailed out by the federal government. New York State teetered upon the edge of bankruptcy.
D.                              Even though a GNI was never seriously considered in Congress, Cloward and Piven and Wiley declared “victory” in numerous speaking engagements and in print. They advised their followers to move into voter registration and housing. Wiley’s lieutenant Wade Rathke (who’d been sent to Arkansas in 1970 by the NWRO) had been assigned the task of creating a C-P strategy for a future campaign. Between President Carter; the Democratic Congress in 1977 and Wade Rathke’s creation of ACORN in Arkansas that task was successfully completed.
E.                              In 1993, shortly after being elected to his first term, President Bill Clinton oversaw the creation of the Motor Voter Bill (called by many “a superhighway to voter fraud). ACORN which had been pushing for loosened standards of proof for voters for 16 years was represented at the signing ceremony by Richard Cloward and Frances Piven standing directly behind his desk while he signed the new law.

F.                             Corruption was rampant, Democratic leaders like Barney Frank and especially Fanny Mae head Franklin Raines (who it's believed personally profited over $150 million from the scandal) maintained over and over throughout the period from 2004 to 2007 while speaking about Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac that these were solid investments for the public. Anyone who dared to point out the dangers was castigated and demagogued as a racist or non-patriotic person.  Today more than three million potential new foreclosures are about to be added to the housing market. Even one foreclosure in a neighborhood can devastate the local home values. Fanny’s and Freddy’s future is still very much in the air.G.                             Only one honest voice has come out discussing about 1% of this very serious and critical matter: Timothy Geithner.

The obvious conclusions . . . .

The truth about these matters is not only of great financial import but also critical to the awareness of the American voters. It is clearly no exaggeration to say that the nation’s security is in play. The truth is needed, what trusted source will reveal it?   I pray, sir, that honest source will be you . . . .

Sincerely,
Bob VanDeHey

** Just exactly what is so wrong with renting homes and apartments^^ anyway?   What tiny percentage of today's college students,  other young people, high school dropouts and other scarcely-educated people, (the people who typically have bad credit, no credit or are inexperienced) and the people without jobs earning themselves at least $40,000 yearly or more can be counted upon to pay off ANY mortgage loans they'd be given?

If they can't put down even 10% down payment, what are the chances they'll ever actually own their own homes rather than the bank owning it?  The whole CRA thing was a huge Ponzi scheme based upon the idea that housing prices NEVER go down . . . which is patent nonsense.  Of course IF housing prices NEVER go down, then these people who are getting home loans which objectively they do NOT deserve will indeed make a profit . . . so this is a share-the-wealth project as well.  But, of course, no investment grows to heaven . . . home prices routinely drop, that is reality.  Renting is a time-honored tradition of the young, of students, of low educated people.  Many of them end up owning a home later . . . but once the government prohibited free market loan evaluations, everything becomes irreparably corrupted.

^^  Another way to look at this is that CRA legislation was class warfare against the upwardly mobile middle-class.  These are the people who invest in rental properties.  If no one rents what happens to these people?  What happens to upward mobility?  What happens to the American Dream?  This is the classic "Broken Windown Fallacy" where this category of taxpayers is made "invisible" so that they can be abused to the benefit of people who do not pay taxes.  This brief link says it all . . . .

Progressive Racial-Genderism
Unreported in Liberal-Biased Media

Rather than fulfilling their time-honored roll as truth-revealers and watchdogs for our Republic and its Democratic principles, today’s media prefers to serve progressivistic^^ ideology and obscure truth repeatedly behind the lying buzzword “racism” aimed at those who opposed this left-wing slant on American life.  Once this situation reached such a deplorable state it could no longer be covered up, the American people began seeking truth on their own making the left-wing mainstream media almost irrelevant. As a great man once said, “Then you will know the TRUTH and the TRUTH will set you free.” This blog represents a condensation and compilation of the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH which Americans need to help set themselves free from those in government and the media who believe it is they who should govern us rather than we governing ourselves . . . .

It’s been known for at least the last half-century that America is a “center-right” nation.   Despite the fact that typically only 16-24 percent of American voters at any given time call themselves “liberals” compared to the roughly 40-42% who say they are “conservatives,” the liberal wing of the Democratic Party has controlled 1) Taxation 2) Spending 3) Creation of entitlements 4) both houses of Congress and 5) the subject matter and timbre of political rhetoric in this country for at least the last sixty-two years and 6) often controlled the Oval Office as well. In that time they’ve brought the country to crisis after crisis including the financial meltdown beginning in 2007** (see footnote) which has been blamed upon the previous administration and yet as mentioned above, they control our country’s direction. How? Why?
Three major reasons stand out: “Conservatives” have tended to align themselves with the Republican Party and over the years the G.O.P. has repeatedly “shot itself in the foot”;   The media have been left-leaning since the time of Woodrow Wilson and since the time of Lyndon Johnson have been hard-left leaning and abused the word “racist” to the benefit of the Democratic Party; and lastly the Republican Party has to a slightly lesser extent been a tax-and-spend party as well which generates apathy within conservative ranks. What are we talking about specifically?

1)     Conservatives in the Republican Party and some Libertarians (not Rajjpuut) have long insisted upon a litmus test for political rhetoric by “conservative” candidates including such matters as A) staunch anti-abortionism since the 1973 Roe-Wade decision in the supreme court B) strict interpretation of the 2nd Amendment C) Support for public schools which promote Christian dogma including singing Christmas Carols and D) Preference for the teaching of creationism in public school biology classes alongside evolution . . . because strict anti-abortionism is a flat-out loser as a political stance (study after study, year after year shows that 40-42% support it and 58-60% oppose it) and the other items on the litmus test are also somewhat unpopular, conservatives and the G.O.P. have been the minority party for many decades.    This is now changing dramatically. The TEA Party uprising in the last couple years has given new life to conservativism by only concentrating conservativism upon fiscal responsibility and Constitutional fidelity its natural arena. The TEA Party document “The Contract from America” has the potential if acted upon to become the most influential “freedom paper” since the Bill of Rights and to take its place with the American Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and Magna Carta among mankind’s greatest ideas.
2)    It’s well-documented that the media in the United States have been liberal-favoring for decades. Their primary tool against non-liberals has been the use of the words “racist”, “racism”, and exaggerations and lies about specific conservatives and their candidates aligning conservativism with fascism, Nazism and White Racist organizations.
3)    The antipathy so many conservatives hold for the political process is tied up with the Republican Party’s hypocrisy. “Progressive-Lite” seems to have been the Republican Party’s direction since President G. H. W. Bush infamously reneged upon his “Read my lips, no new taxes” pledge. To top matters off, the Republican Party and its leaders have been every bit as corrupt as the Democrats once voted into office . . . scandal after scandal from a group that pledges Christian values is NEVER going to be overlooked by a media that hates those values.

Now, however, the TEA Party has brought a new game to town: fiscal- and Constitutional conservativism. The power of the TEA Party playbook is potentially unlimited. IF, huge IF, it’s handled properly (not as a political party, per se, but rather as the kingmakers in the background – at first aligning primarily with conservative Republicans and later once the Democratic Party returns to sanity keeping both parties CLEAN and LEAN and MEAN) it could indeed help restore this country to our former greatness and direction; and it could save the country from the seemingly direct attempt by the progressive-left to bankrupt the nation and its future. What stands in our way?
Now that the TEA Party has roused up the nation, one single word is, more than any other thing standing in the TEA Party’s way: “racism.” As mentioned earlier hardly a day goes by when some Democrat’s or some media pundit’s use of the words “racist or racism” never backed up by facts isn’t hurled at the TEA Party. Here’s what we’re facing and what we must NOT and must NEVER fail to counter at every juncture:
1.       The McCain Factor: Barack Obama supporters in the media made hay against McCain and Palin by treating them and their programs as racist. What’s the truth? Obama in 2008 got more WHITE votes and a larger percentage of WHITE votes than either John Kerry in 2004 or Al Gore in 2000 . . . roughly 48%. Instigated by the media coverage John McCain received only 4.4% of the BLACK vote . . . roughly 1/11 of the racial crossover voting of Whites.   Abetting highly encouraged institutionalized racism against Republican White candidates (as racists) and Republican Black candidates (calling them Uncle Toms and worse) is the tried and true playbook of the liberal media. When Americans understand the powerful import of these simple facts, then the country will be free to return to its powerful Constitutional roots.
2.     Forgetting and altering history: Think of just the words “rednecks,” “fascists” and Nazis constantly hurled at conservatives . . . . The original “Rednecks” were violent union miners wearing red bandanas so they wouldn’t shoot each other by mistake as they tried to force West Virginia mine owners to comply with their demands. The original fascists were union bosses in Italy who grew so powerful they took over the corporations and eventually promoted their man Benito Mussolini to control the whole country. The National Socialist Workers Party (Nazis) clearly displays the two key words “socialist” and “workers” right there in their name no reference to capitalism or freedom (the chief tenets of conservativism along with our American Constitution) at all. The Nazis claimed from the start that they “represented a third way: not communist and not capitalist but something better.” The last ones to come aboard the Nazi bandwagon in Germany were the corporations and they did so only after Hitler had come to power with the support of others 13.5 years after Hitler came to dominate the party. These groups (rednecks, Nazis and fascists) all started as anti-capitalist left-wing organizations and hold no appeal to freedom lovers anywhere.
3.     The words “capitalists,” “capitalism” and “profits” are used as negative slur words in the left-wing press. The left never seems to appreciate that “surplus” is what profits are. Without surplus, new jobs and new opportunities cannot be created. Thanks to the particularly strong incentivization of the American Constitution something akin to (but alas not the same as) true Laissez-Faire capitalism was established in the United States with a power and wide appeal that has never been seen anywhere else in history. That is why, when left-wing governments the world over had to pen their people in behind iron curtains and machine gun toting guards, the place everyone wanted to get to was America. Unmentioned by the left-wing media (in an American cultural climate where Che and Chairman Mao T-shirts are seen everywhere) is the DEMOCIDE of 122+ million people under communist rule in the 20th Century.
4.     Unmentioned by a left-wing press that vilifies White Men (they’ve cornered, they think, the White Female vote) is that a group of angry White males created the most free and successful society in history and eventually even won the freedom of Blacks enslaved among them for almost 170 years.
5.     Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is that Old Glory, the Stars and Stripes and the Pledge of Allegiance have long been drawing cards for foreigners seeking freedom for almost two and a quarter centuries. This should be an area of pride, but is denigrated regularly by them.
6.     Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is that those who decry the actions of Barack Obama do so because of his fiscal and foreign policy incompetence, racial bias, and anti-Constitutional actions endangering freedom in this country.
7.     Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, this country was a place for diverse people to come and respect and become a part of a superior culture. That “melting-pot” effect so denounced by the left made us great. People who oppose using taxpayer funds to print ballots and government information and educational materials do so not out of prejudice or racism but because English is the language of this country.
8.    Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, people who have voted Republican over the years were just “misguided” conservatives who had no other outlet until today’s TEA Party arose. Conservative people believe in the Constitution of the United States and in common sense fiscal responsibility by individuals, corporations and all levels of government.
9.     Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is that America is a sovereign nation and perfectly justified in protecting our borders from terrorists, criminals and other aliens who would enter our nation uninvited and illegally.
10.Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is that the rule of equal law (NOT 'social justice') for all is the basic tenet of our Republican form of Democracy.
11. Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is the fact that the progressive experimentation which has given us a $14.5 TRillion national debt has also given us $116 TRillion in UNfunded liabilities just from their ill-managed and ill-conceived social programs: Medicare, social security and the federal-side of Medicaid not to mention UNfunded welfare obligations in the tens of TRillions of dollars as well. People who despise the tax-and-spend system of legislating are in favor of common sense financial actions NOT racism.
12.Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, do indeed oppose affirmative action, bilingualism and other reverse discrimination alternatives. The melting pot and the concept of a “hand up not a handout” has served this country very well for 224 years and should not be replaced by systems that institutionalize misguided notions of victimization.
13.Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is that most conservatives realize that the so-called anchor-baby law is a severe over-reach of an amendment designed to protect the rights of Black former slaves and their children after the Civil War and has zero-applicability to illegal aliens.
14.Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a flag, is the fact that Sanctuary Cities are aiding and abetting the crime of illegal entry in this country by aliens. Sanctuary cities deprive our state and local governments and thus the taxpayers of half a TRillion dollars in resources every year.
15.Unrespected by the left-wing media which bandies the word “racism” about like a Communist flag is that conservative Americans revere the American Flag and though left-wing leaning journalists seldom cover it . . . we are proud to fly our flags, our American flags and do not seek to be part of a new world order headed up by the corrupt and ineffective United Nations.
Up until the rise of the TEA Party, the left-wing media wins in the vast majority of demographic groups with the exception of the White-Male category. Hence, White-Males as a group are racists. This racial-genderism by progressive^^-supporting media is of course totally UNreported because it is their very own well-documented bias and therefore, by definition: OK.  The fifteen items above constitute the beliefs that are the credo of the noble Americans who call themselves "conservative" and you, the left-wing journalist label as "racist."  As a certain book which they hate asks: “why lookest thou on the mote that is in the eye of thy brother, but observest not the beam that is in thine eye? Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to cast out the mote out of the eye of thy brother.”

Thank God for the TEA Party. Now conservatives can pursue the fiscal- and Constitutional-sanity we’ve so long desired!

**Before the progressive Congress under Jimmy Carter passed the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act requiring mortgage companies and banks to knowingly make stupid home loans to unqualified recipients . . . only 0.24% of home loans were (issued at 3% down payment or less) suspect loans. After five expansions of CRA ’77 (three legislative ones and one regulatory one under Bill Clinton, the first ACORN President, alone) by 2005, 34% of all home loans were suspect loans and many of them were (pushed by ACORN) granted to give people without jobs, without even decent credit ratings, whose only “income was food stamps and even illegal aliens loans at adjustable rate mortgages (ARMs) at ZERO PER CENT down payment. The final expansion of CRA ’77 in 1998 legislatively under Clinton made it EASIER for such people to get CRA-inspired loans for $440,000 homes than it had been to put much better qualified (but still UNqualified) people into $110,000 homes a decade earlier.   The state of Texas was virtually the only state that avoided misfortune due to this progressive-created sub-prime lending crisis. Why? Because its governor George W. Bush passed a state law requiring 20% down payment on home loans in the state. Later, as president, Bush sought to repeal the CRA ’77 nonsense in January, 2005, and for thirty months thereafter. When finally a weakened bi-partisan bill passed in July, 2007, it helped enormously (to keep housing prices from dropping to rock bottom) but it was still too little, too late to prevent the financial meltdown. Now we’re told that Bush, conservatives and capitalism “drove us into the ditch” . . . told by a former ACORN attorney Barack Obama, who spent two-plus years forcing banks to comply with the ridiculous law that forced them to make horrifically-ill-advised home loans.

^^ Progressivism is the political doctrine that we must “progress” against the ‘ill-conceived and outdated Constitution’ so we can make “progress” toward an earthly Utopia. That doctrine is straight out of Communism and Fabian Socialism.  When one realizes that the LITERAL symbol for Fabian Socialism## is the wolf in sheep's clothing and that they propose that our lives be governed by them, the self-chosen elite . . . then you start to understand what we're dealing with . . . .

"Facing the most crucial election in modern times, this is no time for disunity . . . but disunity seems to be in the cards."

Would Romney Nomination
Split Conservative Vote,
Hand Re-election to Obama?

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, the current front-runner in the race for the 2012 Republican Party presidential nomination, is doing three things very right:  he’s leading the pack while avoiding big gaffes and controversies. Governor Romney, however, came into June with four critical strikes against him and in some conservative eyes he got a 5th strike by refusing to sign a key pro-life pledge recently. It’s beginning to be more and more apparent that Governor Romney is perceived as being very much like John McCain. McCain could at best be called a “Republican Moderate,” although because many of his votes aligned with big-expansionistic government some in his party’s most right-most camps considered McCain a RINO (Republican In Name Only) or even a progressive member of the G.O.P.  Among the candidates and potential candidates out there, Governor Romney clearly appears to be the least conservative of all with the possible exception of ex-Ambassador John Huntsman (whose candidacy at present seems absolutely phantasmagoric).
Let’s look more closely at Governor Mitt Romney’s presumptive five-strike situation:
1.      Obamacare, President Obama would have us believe, was based upon Romneycare in Massachusetts. Tim Pawlenty, before copping his plea in the most recent debate, even spoke of “Obamneycare.” In truth, while Romneycare went way too far, it resembles much more the sort of healthcare law mainstream Republicans like Newt Gingrich were advocating in the mid-90’s. Certainly at 74 pages rather than 2,773 any valid comparison-contrast is liable to support Governor Romney’s contentions.
It was a state rather than a federal law but required the individual mandate provision to pay for it. Most importantly, the Massachusetts law stuck to the subject at hand while Obamacare is a total takeover of the healthcare system in a piecemeal fashion. Among other sins of Obamacare, that one monstrous law created 384 brand new federal government agencies (FDR’s twelve-plus years in office saw 40 new government agencies so Obamacare created 9.6 times as much new bureaucracy. Governor Romney’s law was adulterated by the overwhelmingly Democratic House and Senate in Massachusetts and seemingly came out quite different than he planned. Verdict: Romneycare is no real hindrance to Mitt Romney although the Big Lies told about it by Obama and the extreme right of the G.O.P. are somewhat embarrassing.
Governor Romney needs to say, “The Massachusetts healthcare insurance law that I signed was adulterated by the Democrats in the legislators there, so what finally passed was NOT at all what I set out to pass and I should have been circumspect and vetoed it, regardless of the veto over-ride votes against me. If it happened today, I would veto it. However, comparing it to Obamacare is ridiculous and I will defend it as a mediocre and weak law, but not a horrific and evil law like Obamacare. We actually learned an awful lot from that law. You will recall that 2-3 years before we passed that law in Massachusetts, good strong conservative Republicans like Newt Gingrich and others were considering such a law for the federal government. The law I envisioned would have been 55 to 60 pages long compared to the almost 2,800 pages of Obamacare. I will effectively veto Obamacare my first day in office as president by giving every state and company in the country a waiver from Obamacare; then I’ll seek the votes in congress to veto it once and for all.”
2.     Governor Romney’s alignment with Global Warming alarmists recently applauded by Al (divide-and-conquer) Gore, however, is a serious, serious knock on the candidate’s judgment and an indication that he definitely leans well left of center at times. When tied in with his perceived violation of principle in supporting Romneycare, Governor Romney begins to look a bit like those great “conservative” Maine senators Olympia Snow and Susan Collins and like them appears now to deserve the hideous label “progressive Republican.”    Governor Romney apparently has not delved into the matter at all; never has mentioned the Climate Gate Scandal or the deliberate omission of 400 years of the Medieval Warm Period (also known as the Medieval Optimum which occurred before the Little Ice Age and was why Leif Erikson was able to settle in Greenland because Greenland was Green and almost glacier free then) which would have greatly challenged the whole Global Warming idea. Since in Europe, Global Warming theories now hold as much water as the Cardiff Giant (a famous anthropological hoax that was believed for about 45 years); they call environmentalists “mean greenies” and “watermelons” (green on the outside – pink or red commie-colored on the inside) because it now seems that the whole purpose of the Global Warming theatrics was to provide an excuse for virtually totalitarian government takeover of virtually everything.
Governor Romney needs to read and understand the information at the following three websites. He then needs to absolutely and unequivocally state that Climate Gate showed that Global Warming was fraudulent science misused by fraudulent politicians to advance anti-business and anti-freedom agendas; and until the science is excellent science he will risk no American jobs or American money on any Global Warming schemes.

3)   Past Flip-Flop Behavior by Governor Romney shows him off potentially as a man of no backbone. He needs to take off 3-6 weeks; examine the positions of Ronald Reagan (and if possible adopt them 100%); of the TEA Party Contract from America; and the Republican Party’s Pledge to America . . . and then create a coherent policy and tell the American people what it is . . . then to follow it to the letter as promised. If this activity is not done soon Governor Romney will lose ALL credibility.
4) Associated with #1, #2, and #3 is the RINO charge held in many corners against Governor Romney. Republicans In Name Only like Scott Brown, Olympia Snow and Susan Collins are an embarrassment to the G.O.P. and since they vote with the Democratic Party 85-90% of the time . . . should NOT be allowed Republican funds for re-election campaigns or to use the G.O.P name. Only by handling this matter and #3 in the circumspect manner mentioned above, can Governor Romney hope to redeem himself. At question in the most significant election in our lifetime is nothing less than the survival of the American experiment in freedom.
5) Governor Romney is a devout Mormon or Latter Day Saint. On the one hand if a Muslim like Obama (under false Christian pretense who openly listened without apparent objection to Jeremiah Wright’s “God Damn America!”) can get voted into the Oval Office, then a Mormon ought to be more than all right. Whoever heard of a Mormon terrorist? Nevertheless, Governor Romney needs to address the matter proactively and swear greater allegiance to this country’s well-being than to any religious dictates a la John F. Kennedy. Governor Romney will definitely become a lightning rod for the left-sympathizing press and he’s sure to hear questions about Kolob; pre-existence; the mother goddess; becoming divine; multiplicity of gods; etc., etc. in a nasty attempt to discredit the man and the faith.
At present probably the most devout and God-fearing and generous Christian people of faith on earth are the Latter-Day-Saints . . . but the leftwing American press has shown it has no honor in carrying on its biased campaigns on behalf of progressivism** and the Democratic Party, so expect their usual nonsense heightened by Obama-desperation and dirty tricks. Even a Romney vice-presidential candidacy could become a serious distraction under these conditions.  Has the liberal press given Governor Romney such a pass so far because they believe he’ll be the easiest to destroy later on?
Rightly or wrongly as far as the crucial question of unifying his party and attracting Independents, unless he begins to act very circumspectly (as suggested above) and very, very quickly, Governor Romney would probably be the least unifying G.O.P. candidate since Gerald Ford in 1976.   He and Governor Sarah Palin may indeed be the dream ticket in the eyes of the Liberal Press. The extreme right of the G.O.P. will oppose him for all five reasons mentioned above . . . Independents will not respect a nominee who cannot control his own party. The Republican Party may well be standing at a “moment of utmost transition” as the Whig Party did in 1852 before total dissolution that year; the abyss in 1854; and non-existence in 1856, the cracks were clearly all there but all good Whigs were in full denial anyway.  Facing the most crucial election in modern times, this is no time for disunity . . . but disunity seems to be in the cards.

Progressivism is the doctrine that we must “progress” beyond the ‘outdated and ill-conceived American Constitution’ if we are to make ‘progress’ toward an earthly Utopia. Tied in with the Fabian Socialists in England, they were called progressives in America for about a quarter of a century. Once the evils of the movement became plain under Woodrow Wilson, the term “liberal” was favored for the next 85 years or so. Now the term liberal is associated with liberally taxing and spending America’s resources and “progressive” is the name de jour.

“Soros, you see is making a great BLUFF and his multi-billions are now at risk . . . .”

Are Ben ‘n Barack Deliberately
Undermining Economy for Soros

Multi-billionaire supposed philanthropist~~ George Soros has now stepped out into the open. The man with the self-acknowledged “God complex” has pulled off the kid gloves and is moving in for the kill. Declaring that the dollar as we’ve known it is dead, not in so many words – but yes, in fact, Soros claimed at a recent conference at Bretton-Woods, New Hampshire that the American Dollar was no longer the world’s reserve currency. The “Man who Broke the Bank of England” (1992) a.k.a “The International Man of Misery,” infamous for preparing and profiting from the destruction of numerous nations’ currencies -- Soros laughingly talked about the badly-weakened Dollar now sharing duty with the Euro, the Yen and several other currencies. For those in the know, that highly gross insult wasn’t lost upon us . . . .

Soros knows as do we that 1) in the wake of bailing out Greece, Ireland and Portugal and preparing to bail out Italy, Spain and possibly Hungary . . . the Euro is a horrifically threatened currency and also that  2) the Japanese Yen has been devastated by the monster earthquake, tsunami, nuclear reactor problems and thirty huge aftershocks (the latest this week measuring 7.1 on the Richter Scale) . . . in short the Dollar (if indeed it’s only on a par with the Yen and Euro), as George suggests, is dead as a doornail.

George didn’t have his billions back in the late 40’s when the British Pound Sterling gave up its two-century old position as the world’s reserve currency to the United States’ greenback, so he wasn’t able to profit from that terrific misery . . . but “Spooky Dude” definitely knows his history. Because of that, Soros said that efforts to attack the American DEBT were short-sighted and the only way for our economy to survive was to risk incurring a lot more debt to get the economy humming. He put it this way, “The big question is not whether the U.S. Dollar should be the world’s reserve currency. It no longer is. That role is shared with the Euro, Yen and other currencies and commodities such as gold, oil . . . .”

Acting as if he, King George, was the acknowledged leader of the entire world, Soros set up his economic conference on the site of the famous Bretton-Woods economic conference which charted the monetary future of the planet as the end of World War II approached. That first Bretton Woods agreement established the rules for commercial and financial relations among the world’s major industrial states in the mid-20th Century.  In planning the rebuilding of the international economic system as the European and Pacific Wars still raged, 730 delegates from all 44 Allied nations gathered at the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton-Woods, N.H. and after proper deliberation signed the Bretton-Woods Agreements during the first three weeks of July 1944. Soros at his Bretton-Woods meetings has called for the renunciation of the American Dollar right here on American soil in a particularly grandiose and self-serving manner.

All that not being enough for Spooky George, he tried his hand at straightforward sabotage as well. In his prescription to rush the fall of the Buck once and for all, Soros pretended he was offering good economic advice designed to save the currency as he pooh-poohed calls for strengthening the dollar by dealing with the debt (such as Wisconsin’s Paul Ryan has made with his proposed 2012 budget) saying, “There is very a strong push to tighten the budget as a way to reduce government spending… In my opinion, the country could actually absorb some more debt in order to get the economy going. If you have a growing economy, you can tolerate a higher level of debt.” Soros, you see is making a great BLUFF and his multi-billions are now at risk . . . .

That’s right, Soros who has twice before made a play to bring the United States’ fiscal house down around us was NOT counting on the fiscal-conservative backlash that has dominated the U.S. political scene since mid-2010 and sent so many progressive big-spending politicians’ (88% of them progressive Democrats) packing in the most recent elections.  As a result his “bets” against America are deeply at risk. He is heavily invested in futures positions based upon the collapse of our currency . . . thus preparing to once again repeat the successful currency forays that made him a multi-billionaire while helping wreck the economies of Britain (a second time), Russia, Malaysia, etc., etc. ad nauseum.   Next to the radical jihadist element of Islam, no one hates the United States nearly so much as George Soros does. He made his first big play to cut the country down to size, by pouring billions into the Kerry election campaign in 2004 and into anti-George W. Bush propaganda. Bush #2 was not our wisest president, no doubt . . . but he was patriotic enough and wise enough NOT to get under George Soros’s thumb (something that Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama cannot say) and wise enough NOT to consider printing money as a satisfactory answer to any sort of problem. Barack Obama, by comparison, is a George Soros puppet.

Speaking of “the great man who’s now along with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) already spent over $1.2 million to prevent efforts to find his birth certificate” -- less than a week ago President Obama became the first to throw his hat officially into the ring as a declared candidate for the presidency in 2012 . . . now he and his campaign are officially prepared to receive all the millions that Soros and his fifty progressive foundations can pour his way.   If the policies of Barack Obama have been seemingly impossible to understand, one has only to ask three questions to clear up the matter completely. A) What would the international communists and America’s labor leaders want him to do to undermine the United States?  B) What would George Soros prefer? And C) How can he best disguise his loyalties to Georgie S. and his Red Friends.  Usually the first two questions generate the same answer and Barack’s duty is clear. When there is conflict between the two positions, Obama is forced to think for himself and his trademark “dithering” becomes apparent as he seeks to chart Path C.

Whether or not Barack proves to be a one-term president will likely depend upon the economy and/or his ability to sell Americans on his contention that the economy belongs 100% to his predecessor – always has, always will.   With the liberal media on his side, it won’t necessarily be a hard sell.   Surprisingly, 34% of voters still give him good or excellent marks on running the economy although only 14% believe their taxes will go down due to Obama’s governing; only 30% now see their own financial picture as good or excellent; and 69% of American voters call themselves “at least somewhat angry” about the policies of the government. With the unending help of the media, Obama will likely be made a hero by the media for the passage of the 2011 budget with two more challenges ahead: the status of the national debt (he wants to raise the Debt Ceiling up well past $15 TRillion) and the 2012 budget drafted by Wisconsin’s Paul Ryan (which cuts $6.2 TRillion from the debt over the next decade; compared to Mr. Obama’s budget which increased spending 4% and ratchet up the deficits and debt as well.

Obama’s unwitting^^ partner in crime in making King George’s dreams come true is Ben Bernanke, Chief of the Federal Reserve Banking System. The stagnation the country has felt economically is now being compounded by Bernanke-created inflation. At present the ceaseless physical and electronic creation of money by Mr. Bernanke has made the 2011 U.S. dollar technically worth only 3.2 pennies worth if the late 2008 greenback. The treasury department has hidden our current inflation by A) insisting that food and fuel costs don’t count and B) by overweighting the cost of housing in the current inflation statistics.  Since we don’t buy houses everyday and since we do need food and fuel every day, in reality we are now paying 16% more for the everyday necessities than we did when George W. Bush was president. While the civilized world has been ostentatiously tightening its belt Bernanke, Barack, Soros & other Sons of B______ have been seriously counterfeiting the American Dollar.

You need look no further than the Euro . . . this abysmally weak currency is now trading very strong about 1 4/9 as valuable as the Buck. All over the globe folks are noticing and buying gold, silver, oil, or other currencies with their dollars. Few are eager to embrace dollars unless they’re given bonus amounts. The debt and the inflation scare are two sides of the same coin with Barack, Ben and Soros the edge of that coin . . . trying to sell the world and Americans on the notion that stagflation is a great step on the road to repairing the American economy.   Surprisingly, George Soros might be even more over-extended than the American economy is. If his bluff doesn’t work and doesn’t help rush the American economy into absolute bankruptcy, King George might just find himself a mere hundred millionaire again, more’s the pity.

Besides that potential problem: 1) George’s funding for ACORN has now proven a major liability 2) Soros, Gore, Obama, Raines, Rogers, Strong, both Clintons, several Goldman Sach’s bigwigs and at least 54 other top progressives already lost their shirts when their little cap and trade scheme backfired and they had to sell out their holdings in the CCX (Chicago Climate eXchange) after neither legislative bullying nor Obama-ordered EPA regulatory bullying proved sufficient to move the nation toward full carbon-trading. Instead of hundreds of billions of profits they wound up collectively losing millions. Al Gore just missed becoming the first “Green Billionaire” and Soros’ foundations suffered mightily. Bottom line, Barack Obama badly owes his puppet-master . . . do not expect him to cave in on the Ryan budget in any way, shape or form. Unlike the first ACORN president who delivered the Motor-Voter Act and four separate expansions** of CRA ’77 to ACORN in payment for their corrupt backing . . . the totally incompetent “Anointed One” Barack Obama has failed to deliver much of anything to his handlers. The Deficit-Ceiling votes and the Ryan Budget Package will undoubtedly be his last hurrah unless he finds unmitigated success . . . which the G.O.P. can hand him or deny.

~~          Philanthropist is a euphemism used by progressives to describe King George Soros. Like all euphemisms, this is a LIE to hide truth that’s harsh, offensive or blunt.
According to Canada Free Press, “George Soros is a ‘philanthropist’ if by ‘philanthropist’ we mean one who creates chaos, destruction and financial ruin for his own personal gain, it’s a perfect fit.  Calling Soros a philanthropist is rather like referring to the Nazi block wardens as Neighborhood Watch.” They go on . . . .
“Soros certainly gives lots of money away.  But a philanthropist acts to improve the human condition.  Soros acts solely to improve the Soros condition.  Despite the lofty sounding rhetoric about an Open Society, Soros’ objective is to wreck the United States.  Actually Soros never really defines his Open Society.  The concept arose in the 1930s with the notion of a moral code based on “universal principles”.  After tweaking the concept to suit his own purposes, Soros adopted his own version of an Open Society which would be one in which the US has no power.
“Soros was born in Hungary in 1930 to non-practicing Jewish parents.  His father, a lawyer was able to hide their identities and young George was recruited by the Nazi’s Judenrat to hand out flyers deceptively directing Jews to turn themselves in for deportation to the death camps.  Soros later said he found the work exhilarating.  Later passing himself as an official’s godson, he accompanied his benefactor confiscating valuables from innocent Jews.  Soros would later tell Steve Kroft on 60 Minutes that he had ‘no remorse’ about what he had done.
“In fact, Soros doesn’t have remorse for much, if anything.  In The Shadow Party (David Horowitz and Richard Poe, 2006), Soros is quoted as saying that ‘conscience clouds an investor’s judgment.’”
Additionally, our philanthropist Mr. Soros has been accused several times of illegal currency manipulation and also was convicted in France of insider trading . . . certainly he has no compassion for the victims of his monetary shenanigans.

^^Bernanke is a self-mis-directed-would-be patriot who mistakenly believes he and only he correctly understands American economic history. Big Ben has written several scholarly papers on the Great Depression. He actually believes that by and large Hoover on the one hand and FDR and his administration on the other did a relatively good job and that a huge amount of the blame for the depth and duration of the Great Depression were caused by unenlightened Federal Reserve policies and too-tight monetary$$ policies. The Fed was undoubtedly at fault somewhat, but the anti-capitalistic actions of Hoover and FDR are the root cause. When he’s not allowed to read his own writing, Bernanke makes a lot more sense. Indeed, at times he sounds like he’s got his finger on the pulse of things when he says he favors
a)     “Reducing the U.S. budget deficit by reform of the Social Security and Medicare entitlement programs”
b)      Accomplished by cutting spending, or entitlement payments or raising taxes or some combination of those three actions.
He notably does not account for the debilitating effect of raising taxes on prosperity . . . .
$$ No one seems to know, much less take advantage of the great historical lesson known as the “Invisible Depression” wherein Woodrow Wilson’s (much more acute recession than the 1929 market crash brought about) severe recession was tamed in fifteen months by President Warren G. Harding’s combination of cutting spending by 49%; cutting taxes by 48% and paying down the debt 30%. FDR, while calling Hoover “a socialist” promised to repeat the Harding formula, but, of course, did exactly the opposite and extended the depression into a 12.5 year Great Depression.

** CRA ’77 was the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 passed by Jimmy Carter and progressive politicians (about 86% of them Democrats). This was the greatest government interference in the free market ever conceived. Banks and mortgage companies were required to knowingly make abysmally bad loans to unqualified would-be home owners. In 1976, 0.24% of home loans were considered ‘suspect.’ Thanks to ACORN (then the Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now) working almost totally in Arkansas under Governor Bill Clinton, that rate for the entire nation doubled to 0.51% suspect loans by 1986. When Clinton took office in 1993 he repaid ACORN (become the Associations of Community Organizations for Reform Now) with the Motor-Voter Act and a huge regulatory expansion of CRA ’77 almost immediately. In 1995 he twice legislatively expanded CRA ’77. By 1996, 14.08% of all home loans in the country were suspect. In 1998, Clinton passed the steroid-version expansion of CRA legislation. By 2000, the housing bubble was underway and the sub-prime lending crisis was a fact of life by 2005 when 34% of all home loans were suspect . . . but the situation was much worse than the numbers showed: instead of a tiny amount of loans at 3% down payment for $80,000 and $120,000 homes we had a huge amount of 0% loans on homes in the $320,000 to $480,000 range. Instead of “iffy” loans to former military officers attending college on the GI Bill (0.24% in 1976); we now had horrifically bad loans at 0% to people without jobs; with horrible credit ratings; without even rental histories; whose only “income” was food stamps; and even to illegal aliens. If you’re confused by all this and why the word “deliberately” was deliberately used in the headline to his blog: here’s some information on the progressives’ Cloward-Piven Strategy published in 1966, which deliberately bankrupted New York City in 1975 requiring a federal bailout . . . .

Ba-rack Promisin’ Change

By Rajjpuut

A parody sung to:  Irving Berlin's great classic tune Blue Skies

For tune:             http://smickandsmudew.com/lyrics/blueskies.html/

Ba-rack promisin’ change

Now we know Ba-rack’s all de-ranged

Ba-rack’s bringin’ us ruin

Nothing but PINK notes to his tune

Ba-rack said we’d soon see

Everyone working happily

To him, tax larceny’s

Redistributing proper-ly

Then they took over the economy

Implied Marx-ism would set us all free

Then they claimed ugly debt-limits were good

They said . . . we’d just: mis-understood

Bar-ack he seems to dream

Illogical nonsense constantly

Ba-rack  worked for ACORN

Home-lenders are sheep -- he has shorn

Then we lost more jobs made ev’rything worse

Ba-rack came back, hands in my purse

He said illegals were better than us

Made slav’ry from freedom, now I don’t trust . . .

Ba-Rack . . .

                                                Musical interlude

Ba-rack  said W. Bush

Caused all of our pain

But t'was CRA ’77

That clogged up the drain

Jimmy Carter gave us that law

While Billy Clinton continued to claw

Four CRA expansions** in only eight years

Progressives now cryin’ crocodile tears

Then they took over the economy

Implied Marx-ism would set us all free

Then they claimed ugly debt-limits were good

They said . . . we’d just: mis-understood

Ba-rack promisin’ change

Now we know Ba-rack’s all de-ranged

Ba-rack’s bringin’ our ruin

Lately there's RED notes in his tune

Big dreams, all of them dead

They sold us big dreams

 Now we’re RED

** Specifically: Bill Clinton paid back ACORN with the Motor Voter Act of 1993 and with four expansions of CRA ’77 mortgage-guarantee legislation originally passed by Carter as the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977.   By presidential edict in 1993 he expanded CRA ’77 by means of regulatory change; twice legislatively in 1995; and with a poisonous steroid-version expansion of CRA ’77 in 1998. Clinton was our first ACORN president.

The background for understanding Clinton’s and Obama’s part and becoming an informed citizen (right now only 6% of us are) can be found at these two weblinks:

The short version which covers some different areas from the valuable blog info above is this . . . .

1.       A philosophy called “progressivism” has dominated the country’s top politicians from both major parties for over a century. Progressives believe that we must ‘progress’ beyond the outdated and ill-conceived U.S. Constitution as our only hope to ‘progress’ toward an earthly Utopia (more or less the same goal that Marx delineated and which created “Fabian Socialism” in England is on this continent:  American Progressivism).

2.      Famous American TRUE Progressive Presidents include Republicans: Theodore Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover; Democrats: Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. Light progressivism is found in Republicans Eisenhower and both Bushes. All of the true progressive presidents a) ignored the U.S. Constitution in large part b) instituted dramatic increases in taxes, spending and debt and made individual Americans far poorer and c) moved the country much closer to socialism than we were before they took office.

Generally, the background on Clinton, etc. is . . .

Three “NEO-Marxists”:  Community Organizer Saul Alinsky (author of Reveille for Radicals; and Rules for Radicals) and Columbia University professors Richard Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (authors of The Weight of the Poora strategy for ending poverty which has popularly come to be known as “Cloward-Piven Strategy for creating and profiting from chaos”) created the revolutionary structure that today’s progressives have been using for overthrowing the United States as we know it. Cloward-Piven and George Wiley openly used and bragged about using the strategy to bankrupt New York City in 1975 (and nearly bankrupt New York State) and send the whole nation into a huge recession during most of 1973-74 and double the welfare rolls from 8 million to 16 million. The federal government bailed out NYC late in 1975. They told their followers to switch concentration to voter-registration and housing.

In 1977, Jimmy Carter passed a very bad law called the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77) a mortgage-guarantee law FORCING home lenders to knowingly make very bad loans to people who were serious risks for foreclosure. At the same time the bill was being passed, Cloward-Piven (the two most important words for informed Americans to understand) ally and head of the National Welfare Rights Organization, George Wiley, already had one his community organizer lieutenants in place in Arkansas: Wade Rathke. Rathke created ACORN (Arkansas Community Organizations.

ACORN using massive voter fraud (they purported to be gathering new voters, but threw away all the newly registered Republican paperwork) to elect Bill Clinton governor of Arkansas in 1978. They kept him governor through 12 of the next 14 years and got him elected president in 1992. ACORN efforts just in Arkansas doubled the percentage of bad home mortgages from 1 in 404 in 1975; to 1 in 196 by 1985.   ACORN was then expanded nationwide (now it was called Associations of Community Organizations for Reform Now). President Bush #1 who had successfully vetoed 45 of 46 bills that progressive Democrats had pushed upon him, in 1992, failed to veto a bill he largely favored. That bill had a minor provision expanding CRA ’77 to federal programs Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac.

When Bill Clinton became our first ACORN president he immediately paid back Cloward and Piven and ACORN by passing the Motor-Voter Act (“a 12-lane highway to voter fraud”) and expanding CRA ’77. In 1993 Clinton used regulatory fiat to expand the law; then twice in 1995 he got CRA ’77 expansions passed through congress; and in 1998 he passed a poisonous steroid version of CRA ’77 expansion. As a result of Bush #1’s and Clinton’s actions . . . in 1995 14% of all home mortgages were suspect (issued with less than 3% down payment to risky home buyers); by 2005 the number of bad loans had risen to 34%. Worse, thanks to Clinton’s ’98 steroid expansion of CRA ’77, A) many of the loans were being made at not 3% down payment but with Zero-down payment B) ACORN now had less trouble putting an unqualified loan recipient into a $440,000 home than they’d had in putting him into a $110,000 home fifteen years earlier and C) the unqualified loan recipients now included people without jobs at all; people without even rental histories; people with horrendous credit ratings; people without I.D.; people whose only “income” was food stamps; and even illegal aliens.

All this brought on the prime-lending crisis which was about 94% of the problem underlying our recent financial meltdown. By the way, in 1996 Community Organizer Barack Obama was working as an ACORN attorney shaking-down unwilling lenders to force them into bad loans. Obama was famous for not only getting promises for large numbers of loans but also getting these financial organizations to donate to ACORN.

“The world as we know it, will in a sudden flash, disappear . . . .”

Warning, Unmitigated Catastrophe Waits Ahead,
Capitalism Crippled and Undermined

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year:   the very best to you and your families!
A crisis is upon us. That is, there are potential problems, even dangers you must choose to either avoid or face and there are potential opportunities which you must either exploit or allow to slip away. If you do nothing, alas, you will definitely face the dangers and miss the opportunities. “What is the nature of the crisis?” you ask. In a phrase:  American civilization is at severe risk as the collapse of our long-time friend and trusted storehouse of value, the American Dollar, is upon us. I’ll begin with a quick word on A. how it happened . . . then provide B. proof a crisis exists . . . C. Give a quick rundown on the likely scenario as the realized problem begins to play out in everyday lives of the common folk . . .  and finally D. some sage advice about protecting yourself and your family.

A.     How did it happen?  Up until the 2010 elections we have been dominated for 82 years by a political philosophy known as Progressivism (“We must ‘progress’ beyond the ‘outdated and ill-conceived’ U.S. Constitution if we hope to ‘progress’ toward our earthly (socialist) Utopia.”) The most “progressive” of politicians of the United States for some 65 years now at a minimum have undermined capitalism and the Constitution and destroyed the American Meritocracy that made this nation the hope of the world for over 200 years. They have also considered themselves the only truly important special interest group and have used the resources of the country to ensure their repeated re-election. This ploy has worked because the people have lazily and ignorantly (not aware; not caring to educated themselves about political activities) allowed the politicians uninterrupted benefit from promising us the various free lunches we’ve so craved.  In those 65 years the nation has amassed not only a $14 TRillion debt but more importantly $112 TRillion in unfunded liabilities. One example will suffice: the so-called “Cash for Clunkers” program diverted new car sales forward roughly two and a half months on average but otherwise did NOT affect auto sales. The program was very expensive and the American taxpayer bore the huge burden. Meanwhile, like all government programs we were not advised of the “unintended but easily foreseeable consequences” of this government interference. So many decent and serviceable used cars disappeared just like that, that the price of the average used car following “Cash for Clunkers” rose $1,800 . . . and even now 17 months later, the average used car still costs $1,100 more than it should have been expected to cost. What is the end result? Society is not only poorer by 700,000 used vehicles deliberately destroyed . . . the poorer citizens now face greater expense in the future when purchasing used vehicles. Yet, in comparison to the typical government spending boondoggle, which on a scale of 1-10 probably rates a 1.75 or less, Cash for Clunkers was a roaring success . . . let us call it an 8.0;  for comparison, Obamacare will rate a deeply negative number . . . but enough of that, you’ve got the picture what 65 years of Government Spending Boondoggles amounts to . . . the combined more than $125 TRillion the country’s obligated for is roughly 2.8 times the GDP (gross domestic product) of the entire world . . . .
B.    As if the debt and unfunded liabilities statistics were not enough, in late 2008, the Federal Reserve Bank used the money-printing presses and began to print up 14 times the amount of paper dollars already in circulation making a combined total of 15 times the original amount circulating around the nation. Theoretically, therefore, the June, 2008 dollar was worth 15 times the value of the June, 2009 dollar since the amount of goods and services did not increase. By the law of supply and demand the 2009 dollar was theoretically worth 6 2/3 pennies worth of the 2008 dollar. Recently the Federal reserve has used another method of creating money out of thin air called “quantitative easing” twice in the last five months and will do so once again in February, 2011. The net result of all this new “money-magic” is that the 2011 dollar will be worth (theoretically) the same as 3 ½ cents worth of the 2008 dollar. In any other country on earth this would have meant immediate and crippling inflation . . . . the United States had one huge advantage that up till now allowed the nation to willy-nilly print as many new dollars any time the government wished: the United States has been the preferred world storehouse of value for 65 years (a.k.a. the “world’s reserve currency” was the American dollar) as nations all over the globe including our enemies trafficked in dollars the most consistently-trusted currency among all the 208 nations of the world. Before World War II the world’s reserve currency was the British Pound Sterling which had born that noble role for about two centuries. The Brits after the end of World War II tried to inflate their currency and spend their way out of debt . . . it didn’t work and hundreds of billions of pounds worldwide were sold in a heated rush as nations and individuals stampeded away from the pound to the dollar. This is why the United States didn’t resume the financial problems we’d known prior to World War II . . . we had become the owners of the most preferred money in the world and our economy was buoyed up then and has been wonderfully blessed ever since. Of course the truly in the know people, the wealthy, kept huge amounts of their wealth protected in gold, silver, and collectible like art and numismatic coins and rare stamps; and, of course, property . . . but that’s another story . . . in any case the bottom line today is that the stampede into the dollar that saved our bacon in 1945 and ’46 has reversed directions right now. Currently it’s an orderly retreat by nations like China, Russia, Japan, Turkey and Brazil . . . countries who don’t want to cause a panic by selling too many dollars at once since their reserve funds are so deeply, deeply dedicated to greenbacks . . . someday soon it’ll become a panic as everybody and their poor relations stampedes to trade dollars for anything of value. Nobody with any sense wants to stay in a currency which has multiplied its paper presence 28.5 times in less than 25 months. Yes, some of these foreigners will be badly hurt by the collapse of the dollar and its loss of “world reserve currency” status, but, that’s nothing compared to the problems facing Americans for whom the dollar is our personal friend and trusted storehouse of value. This should become noticeable within 18 months.
C.    Don’t expect things to be pretty . . . when Americans find that overnight their dollar’s buying capacity has been drastically diminished . . . they’re going to be shocked, frightened, angry and very bitter. If the dollar starts a headlong plunge toward its true value (3.5 pennies) absolute panic could very well ensue. The strikes in Greece, Italy, England and France we’ve seen and the coming demonstrations and panic in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Hungary and all the British Isles (the Euro is far preferable to the dollar, but nothing to cheer about) are infinitesmal compared to what we betrayed Americans will feel toward our government. The TEA (Taxed enough already) Party groundswell of protest against the government these last two years has been circumspect, logical and respectful.    When less patriotic people who’ve been buying the government’s promises for the last 65 years suddenly find they’ve been taken by a scam that makes Bernie Madoff look like an inept pickpocket . . . well, you get the idea Expect violence lots of it and a lot of incredible hardships especially for the poor, the elderly and just about everyone excepts crooks and conmen (“speculators” of all classes will be about the only ones enriched by the situation if preventive measures aren’t taken by the government to reverse the direction now in play; or more likely by smart individuals seeking to protect their wealth and families). America, indeed the world, as we know it, will in a sudden flash, disappear . . . .
D.   There are no guarantees, physical danger can be expected to ride along with economic ruin . . . prudence says that big cities will be flashpoints and hunger riots and ceasing of services like electricity and heat all carry enormous power to injure, deprive, and cause suffering.   Utter self-sufficiency (food stored; safe haven; silver or gold or a trusted foreign currency to use as money when stores won’t accept the dollar; weapons present and the will to use them if necessary) is almost impossible . . . but any steps in the right direction are preferable to apathy or worse (joining in the rioting).

One step Ol’ Rajjpuut would advise for anyone interested in avoiding problems would be the purchase of a $100 face-value bag of “junk-silver” right now costing roughly $2,350. It’s conceivable that in a severe monetary crisis, merchants may so crave some fundamental storehouse of value that a couple of pre-1964 dimes might provide a person with a day’s nutrition.
A second step would be for someone in your family to learn the art of safe canning; or for your family to accumulate five or six month’s worth of non-perishable groceries or perhaps even more such stores.
A third step would be to let those you know and love in on the probable truth about the upcoming dangers. The more people as a whole who are self-sufficient, the less danger we all face.

Here’s hoping we’re 100% wrong.

Rajjpuut

"The land of opportunity has become the land of shrinking prosperity ... Our government has failed us, we will take back our country. We will restore for a better future. This is our pledge to you." Kevin McCarthy, California Representative

Republican “Pledge to America” Says,

“We’ve Learned Our Lessons”^^

Everybody needs 100% of the time to be cynical about the actions of politicians. Having said that and admitted that the new Republican “Pledge to America” (linked at the top of this page) is, of course, aimed at answering the progressive Democrats claims that the G.O.P. is a “Party of ‘NO!’” nevertheless, any thinking voter has to be pretty impressed with the “Pledge’s” twenty-one detailed and inspirational but no-nonsense pages. One can only hope the party and its candidates will keep the Pledge to America” front and center over the next 43 days and BEYOND. Finally, the Republican Party seems intent on reverting to the Party of Lincoln, to libertarianism. A Libertarian is a social moderate and even rarely social liberal that is utterly fiscally conservative and Constitutionally conservative. About 65% of the TEA Party would classify as Libertarians, live and let live on social issues but deeply committed to fiscal and Constitutional conservativism . . . and the Pledge to America is indeed a libertarian document.

One last theoretical-political point, some will say, that Democrats protecting slavery were the conservatives in Lincoln’s time and that the brand new Republican Party, was the party of abolition and other radicalism. Not even close, elimination of slavery was seriously discussed by John Adams and Benjamin Franklin and George Washington before the Declaration, written by Jefferson, was approved. No, the words of the Declaration explicitly say “all men are created equal . . . endowed by their creator with certain UNalienable rights . . . life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, etc.” Springing back to the spirit of founding documents is real conservativism. Notice these truths about the G.O.P.’s “Pledge” . . . .

Social issues are barely touched. This is both smart and more importantly GOOD. When it comes to social issues (guns, abortion, drys vs. wets, gay rights, etc.) moderation is the key: respect old tradition and old law but don’t interfere needlessly with personal freedom. Don’t try to mandate social change through the ballot box or by edict.

Fiscal conservativism is the driving force behind 85% of the “Pledge’s” content. Get out of the way of the free market and out of the way of individual liberty and control by both the states and individuals over their own destinies. Constitutional conservativism is the glue that makes the whole thing worthwhile and workable. Common-sense Americanism is the result. A look at the chart depicting the Obamacare Law now on the books on page 16 is worth a billion times its weight in gold; as is the comparison chart of federal spending as a percentage of GDP on page 13 and the Federal Assistance chart on page 12. However, it’s not a perfect document. Let us point out two areas** where the pledge fell short, perhaps deliberately so:

1. No serious mention of “unfunded liabilities” such as Social Security, Medicare and the Federal Side of Medicaid and Welfare, etc. is made, nor any indication as to how to solve the total of $190TRillion drain these unfunded liabilities amount up to.

2. No serious treatment of term-limits is given.

Why were these “flaws” allowed? Probably because smart politics is the art of the possible and practical. Obama and the progressive Democrats were raised on Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” and ACORN’s propaganda-machine and take-it-to-the-streets mob law to become experts at nit-picking, deliberately causing confusion and using unfair sound-bites to create false impressions that appear to vilify conservatives. Why give these traitors ammunition?

Despite these shortcomings, IF they live up to their words and continue to be the party of NO MORE OBAMANATIONS and to fight relentlessly for these principles, Republicans will have re-energized the American political argument and earned the country’s trust. Congratulations, G.O.P!

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

^^ Not directly relevant, but Rajjpuut would have gone to extraordinary measures to find a way to discuss Obama’s BIG LIE about the car (the economy) being driven into the ditch by Republicans in a footnote to the document. To wit . . . here’s the truth linked to the proof . . . .

** Using the same Cloward-Piven** strategy that DELIBERATELY created the bankruptcy of New York City earlier between 1967 and 1975 by deliberately overloading the welfare rolls . . . beginning especially after 1992, ACORN, OBAMA, First ACORN PRESIDENT Bill Clinton, and oodles of progressives (98% of them Democrats) DELIBERATELY were pushing the car toward a 500-foot cliff. George W. Bush jumped in and grabbed the steering wheel and hit the brakes. Bush was able to create a controlled-skid and guide the car to rest in a friendly-looking ditch!

“The progressive/Marxist big government mindset is that life is a zero-sum game, so they can’t really understand the creative-cooperative nature of capitalism even if they themselves are involved in some creative-cooperative activity. They treat the world as if everybody’s playing checkers** . . . if somebody wins, somebody else must lose and therefore the best result in their view is a draw; and they will always seek to drag the “wealthy” down to the level of the poor with wealth-redistribution schemes that just impoverish everyone. In America, thanks in part to largely unfettered capitalism, the rising tide of general prosperity has lifted all boats for over two hundred years and continues to lift all boats so that the typical American living under the “poverty line” in 2004 was better off than 88% of the world’s population.” Rajjpuut

Crocodile Tears of the Left

Flood America with Corruption

as the “BIG LIE” Dominates

Part IV: Victim #4, The Rich and the Poor

Loyal readers are advised to skip ahead as we give a brief review. In this blog series, we’ve been exposing the self-described “victimhood” of progressives at the hands of their evil, racist, etc. conservative oppressors and showing you where the real victimhood is:

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/09/04/first_crocodile_tears,_then_dismemberment_part_i.thtml

In part I of the series (the link immediately above) the victim was “TRUTH” and among six key areas we hit Rajjpuut documented and exposed this truth:

Using the same Cloward-Piven** strategy that DELIBERATELY created the bankruptcy of New York City earlier between 1967 and 1975 by deliberately overloading the welfare rolls . . . beginning especially after 1992, ACORN, OBAMA, First ACORN PRESIDENT Bill Clinton, and oodles of progressives (98% of them Democrats) DELIBERATELY were pushing the car toward a 500-foot cliff. George W. Bush jumped in and grabbed the steering wheel and hit the brakes. Bush was able to create a controlled-skid and guide the car to rest in a friendly-looking ditch!

The chain of evidence producing that statement is something that every American ought to be aware of, just as every American ought to be aware of the identities of Saul Alinsky, Richard Cloward and Frances Piven and be able to articulate what Cloward-Piven strategy is . . . the fact that most Americans are totally ignorant of these things means someone hasn’t been doing their job.

http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/09/05/first_crocodile_tears,_then_dismemberment___part_ii.thtml

In Part II of the series we examines the “Fourth Estate” and how their willful actions and inactions and choreographed responses (the scandal known as the “JournOList” which many Americans have not heard of because it’s too embarrassing for the liberal media to reveal that over 400 of its people have been colluding on how stories ought to be presented – to the benefit of the progressive political movement in this country) have sabotaged the nation and freedom and the Constitution. In Rajjpuut’s J-school classes reporting was all about revealing TRUTH in an ‘inverted-pyramid’ of Who? What? Where? Why? and How? That immediately put the most important facts at the top of the story and gradually petered out as less important details were shown. Today the inverted-pyramid has disappeared and unsupported opinion has replaced TRUTH in much of what passes for “NEWS.” Then we looked at how the false victimhood of the progressives (we must “progress” beyond the outdated and flawed U.S. Constitution) has created another real victim: “Responsibility” in the guise of the rising numbers of single-mother-families (a problem obviously created by everybody else’s sexism, according to feminists). As the irresponsible notion of deliberately choosing a single-parent family drags down all of society (see this link).http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/09/06/first_crocodile_tears,_then_dismemberment___part_iii.thtml

Victim #4: The Rich and the Poor

This will be the shortest blog in our ten-part blog-series because despite all the lies progressives might tell you, economics is a very simple area. It’s only when you tell gross lies about economics aimed at furthering the likelihood of socialism or totalitarianism or both that economics gets difficult. If your “economic world system” is a lie (the “school” of Keynesian economics) then you must forever be adding sub-schools that purport to justify and “solve” the big lie in the system. Today there are at least a hundred sub-schools of John Maynard Keynes (all of them telling lies in favor of big government at every turn). In the “Wealth of Nations” Adam Smith revealed the marvelous truth we today call “Classical Economics” that “individual men through creativity, through industry, through communications can create and magnify wealth cooperatively.”

Here is the point where the fearful progressive departs from common sense. In his world there is always an oppressor (the conservative-captitalist) and always a victim (the whole world of progressives themselves) being exploited by the oppressor. Life, in short, is a zero sum game between two people. If the capitalist wins, the laborer must lose. If the capitalist wins the consumer must lose. If the capitalist wins society as a whole must lose. How does the capitalist win? By creating “PROFIT.” Profit is the ultimate “dirty word” to progressives which means they who claim to follow a historically necessary path based upon the lessons of history, don’t understand the simplest lessons of human history because . . . (drum roll, maestro) profit is good, indeed profit is the ultimate good that makes civilization, some degree of comfort, and large amounts of free will possible to mankind.

Another word for profit is “SURPLUS.” When people live hand to mouth existences . . . in that cold gray world . . . there is indeed a greater likelihood of exploitation, exploitation of the criminal over the victim. I barely have enough and you barely have enough, if I hurt you and steal what you’ve got then I have twice as much and you have nothing. However, when we both have a little profit, a bit of surplus, instead of a win-lose proposition, life becomes win-win. I’m a farmer and I trade a little bit of my extra corn (beyond what I need to survive and to feed my animals) to you in exchange for the chair you made, your profit; to your neighbor the smith for the hoe and shovel he made, his surplus or profit beyond survival needs; and to your other neighbor for the wool he’s got, his family’s profit. I have so much corn that I’d almost give it away for the chair, the garden tools and the wool.

Each of the others I trade with feels the same about the furniture, tools, and wool they produce. Each of us feels like we’ve gained by the trades we made and lost virtually nothing. This is the essence of win-win interaction, the essence of capitalism. When money is created, capitalism often becomes broadly expansive, the resulting interactions become sort of complicated, but the essence is the same, men willingly give of their labor and their surplus to interact with other men in cooperative win-win trade. There is no oppressor and no victim. The simplest and best example of unfettered capitalism is found in this brief essay:

http://www.econlib.org/library/Essays/rdPncl1.html

But there often is an oppressor after all; the heavy hand of government is played when power enters the marketplace by force. Whether for taxation or other confiscation, it is government which befuddles the simple win-win formula, simply stated the one lesson for understanding economics is:

http://fee.org/library/books/economics-in-one-lesson/#0.1_L2

But when government enters the marketplace, with taxes, subsidies, willful destruction, payment for zero production or lessened production, etc., etc., ad nauseum they have to justify the “displacement” of normal market forces and normal free-market good this way:

So what’s really going on when government enters the picture? In a word “theft,” stealing by the powerful (the government) of what the productive have earned. Sometimes it is literally out-and-out direct theft for and by those in power. More commonly at other times they steal from some, pay take “their cut” as well and redistribute the wealth to others so as to win the favor of those others receiving benefits and “earn” their votes and support. Today in America 47% pay no taxes but are rather in complete or partial measure supported by those who do produce and do pay the taxes . . . this is what government has done to us.

The progressive/Marxist big government mindset is that life is a zero-sum game, so they can’t really understand the creative-cooperative nature of capitalism even if they themselves are involved in some creative-cooperative activity. They treat the world as if everybody’s playing checkers . . . if somebody wins, somebody else must lose and therefore the best result in their view is a draw; and they will always seek to drag the “wealthy” down to the level of the poor with wealth-redistribution schemes that just impoverish everyone. In America, thanks in part to largely unfettered capitalism, the rising tide of general prosperity has lifted all boats for over two hundred years and continues to lift all boats so that the typical American living under the “poverty line” in 2004 was better off than 88% of the world’s population. A rising tide of prosperity is the hallmark of capitalism; stagnation and lack of economic growth is the hallmark of government interference.

While government does play a legitimate and necessary role in defending the people and their borders and maintaining order and protecting their god-given liberties . . . government run amuck under progressivism fulfills a totally corrupted role: screwing the rich, screwing the poor and making itself ever bigger, every day . . . .

** The truth is, it is ONLY when progressivism moves in to create Big Government, GIBs (government interference boondoggles) and GSB (government spending boondoggles) that surpluses disappear and profit becomes an ugly world and then life gets beastly and miserable and very close to zero-sum.

Corrupt Journalism Top Story of the Decade

Come the late October or early November 2010 stock market collapse which the present “Hindenburg Omen” readings (a hit and a near miss on August 12th and August 11th this week respectively) are pointing at . . . a lot of Keynesian economists and other leftist pundits are going to be blaming Republicans for “obstructing” the tax and spend policies of Obama-Pelosi-Reid and their cohorts. They will, of course, neglect to put even .0001% of the blame on themselves or the five great scandals they have helped perpetrate. Those five scandals and their associated sub-scandals, in order of importance now, are . . . .

1. A. The Mainstream Media Sellout to the Left

B. The Mainstream Media Redefining “Racism”

2. A. Cloward-Piven Strategy Undercutting the economy and the consitution

B. Housing and Stock Market Abuses Going Unexamined

3. Progressives hijacking the Democratic Party

4. Republican Party Abandoning Conservativism, while Some

embrace Progressivism

5. Voting Fraud institutionalized in Motor Voter Act

If a TRUE story of the hijinks of the early 21st Century ever gets written, the failings and corruption of America’s “fourth estate” (the journalism profession) will prove to be the major cause of America’s woes. It’s been a long time coming, but the first key indicators were the widely disparate treatment of Clarence Thomas’ Supreme Court confirmation hearings and the unsubstantiated sexual harrassment claims of Anita Hill on the one hand; and the virtual free ride given Bill Clinton considering the well-documented (tapes and blue dress, for instance) sexual shenanigans and Clinton’s eventual admitted confession that he lied to the American people.

In the one case, a good man’s reputation was outrageously trashed by the media and particularly the feminist reporters and commentators without one shred of evidence. In addition, the alleged victim was a lawyer who had the wherewithal to protect herself had even one of the charges she raised been true and a woman who had deliberately followed Clarence Thomas from one job to another.

In the other case a man with a history of covering up his nasty little philanderings (even with state troopers helping him find mousy unassertive women without the benefit of education or status) who was elected by “the soccer moms,” was not attacked and his integrity was never questioned (even after admitting to the lie) by the mainsteam media (MSM), most particularly the feminist reporters while the total lack of stories requiring comment from the National Organization for Women or other feminists was astounding.

Of course two months ago we discover the JournOList scandal where 400+ individuals on a special server were communicating strategies to boost the Democratic party and slam conservatives of all ilk. The mainstream media, naturally enough, did NOT cover this JournOList scandal in their own midst that had been ongoing for at least 12 years in which feminists in the media deliberately “bit their tongue” about Bill and Monica . . . where over 400 liberal journalists, academicians and media personnel conspired to downplay the Reverend Jeremiah Wright “Not ‘God Bless America,” but God Damn America” scandal and to seek stories of “Republican racism” as a diversion to make the story go away.

We also find out that this group had been conspiring since 2007 to make Barack Obama president, even to the total ignorance of a string of stories that showed that Hillary Clinton was cheated out of the presidency by fraudulent tactics that won Obama 13 of the 14 caucus states after losing a majority of the 44 primary voting states (some states had both a caucus and voting) including voting states Hillary Clinton had won by comfortable margins.

The media conspired to give us an Obama presidency and they’re now conspiring to make him look good and get him and his supporters re-elected. For example, in the Shirley Sherrod story, the leftist MSM tried without evidence to paint the problem child of the story as FOX news’ racist commentators (the timeline of events refutes that) while they’ve deliberately refused to cover a much more important story . . . did Barack Obama (and Sherrod?) conspire to defraud the country out of a good part of $1.25 Billion in the Pigford v. Glickman class action suit revived by then candidate Barack Obama. In that suit alleging racial discrimination by the Department of Agriculture, Sherrod got the largest award ($13 Million); and Obama appears to have multiplied the number of claimants to 86,000. Since the census shows we have at most 39,000 Black farmers and since its extraordinarily unlikely that even all of those 39,000 applied to the Ag Dept for a loan or felt they were discriminated in the process . . . Obama has a lot of explaining to do, but the media is not holding his feet to the fire.

Americans still blame conservatives and particularly George Bush for the financial collapse of 2007 to present. Don’t be shocked, but the liberal media has refused to cover . . . .

ITEM: What is this “community organizer” thing, anyway? Saul Alinsky was the most well-known community organizer, one of his famous quotes from his book “Rules for Radicals” is this one, “"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that ‘all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists.’ From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism."

ITEM: Perhaps six percent of Americans know who Saul Alinsky is and perhaps 55% of those in the know are MSM journalists, for example on the day following our last Christmas, just five days after affirming on air that he is “a liberal,” MSNBC host Chris Matthews exclaimed that radical community organizer Saul Alinsky is one of his heroes, “Well, to reach back to one of our heroes from the past, from the ’60s, Saul Alinsky once said that even though both sides have flaws in their arguments and you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don’t like and it’s never perfect, you have to act in the end like there’s simple black and white clarity between your side and the other side or you don’t get anything done. “I always try to remind myself of Saul Alinsky when I get confused,” Matthews said on his “Hardball” show. In other words, one of the most powerful journalists in America, chooses sides and aligns himself with radical leftism in the person of self-avowed Marxist Saul Alinsky. But, for the most part, this “taking sides” is hidden and more insiduous, they never let you know that they want the Left to win.

ITEM: the MSM hasn’t covered Chicago Community Organizer Saul Alinsky’s infamous book “Rules for Radicals” or Obama and Hillary Clinton being Alinsky’s “Teacher’s Pets;” or Obama teaching “Rules for Radicals” and becoming a community organizer in the Alinsky mode and an ACORN lawyer. Alinsky dedicated his book this way, ““Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.

ITEM: the creation and publication of Cloward-Piven Strategy in 1964 based upon Rules for Radicals.

ITEM: The MSM has not covered George Wiley, Frances Piven and Richard Cloward creating the NWRO (the National Welfare Rights Organization) in 1968, with the express purpose of bringing the system to collapse-point and getting the Democrats to institute a National Guaranteed Income (NGI).

ITEM: Nor has the MSM covered the 1975 bankruptcy of New York City and the near bankrutpcy of New York state being crowed about by Cloward, Piven and Wiley and Cloward and Piven regretting that it didn’t bring about the NGI, advising their people to move their activism into housing and voter registration next.

ITEM: Nor has the MSM connected the dots with the creation of ACORN in accord with Alinsky and C-P models; and the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 requiring mortgage companies to deliberate give bad loans; and the further expansions of CRA ’77 in ’92, twice in ’95, and the steroid version in 1998.

ITEM: Nor has the MSM allowed Americans to see ACORN attorney Barack Obama in action shaking down banks and lending organizations to make bad loans and ACORN donations.

ITEM: The MSM understands all these connections, but say nothing about who really caused the sub-prime lending crisis . . . ACORN and others who forced lending organizations to make loans to folks without jobs; to folks with abysmal credit ratings; to folks without I.D.; to people without even a rental history; and even to many illegal aliens. The related problems that arose after the sub-prime lending crisis was first noticed (November, 2003, by James Stack of Investech.com along with his “Housing Bubble” chart) were severe, but the buildup of the sub-prime problems in the decade after 1998, when the steroid version of mortgage-guarantee legislation was created, were the primary cause of 99% of our fiscal problems. And those problems were not just something that happened, they were problems created by ACORN overloading the system in C-P fashion just as the NWRO did between 1967 and 1975.

An almost equal disservice from the MSM is their new definition of “racism.”

ITEM: Take the recent case of Omar Thornton. Omar was caught on tape stealing from the company. According to the union records and testimony Omar had never alleged racism before he shot and killed nine fellow employees, all White, during a disciplinary action against him. He was prepared for his own action after hiding a pistol in his lunchbox. The liberal media took Mr. Thornton’s last words a cell phone call alleging racism as GOSPEL. Mr. Thornton added that he’d killed the people and just wished he could have killed more of them. The MSM spin was that Omar acted in justifiable counter-attack to a racist environment. Logic says that the opposite was true: angered and ashamed at being caught stealing and about to be fired, Omar made a racist attack on White co-workers. But that doesn't play in the Oval Office, for Obama and the Dems and the MSM "racism" means being against the progressive agenda, nothing more and nothing less. When a Black man is not only elected president but gets more votes from Whites than the last two presidential candidates of his party and 48% of the White vote, the "race" card needs to be torn up. When Blacks only give his White adversary 4+% of the votes, perhaps we should discuss the true definition of racism, eh?

ITEM: The recently dropped case by the Obama Department of Justice against four New Black Panthers in paramilitary uniforms, one with a billy-club, shouting threats and racial slurs at White voters and threats at one Black poll watcher at a Philadelphia voting site in November, 2008 was abhorrent. The men were caught on videotape and arrested with cause. Three were let off. The other man (who on another video-tape is yelling about “killing crackers and killing they (sic) cracker babies”) was likewise unpunished . . . his sentence? He couldn’t go to that polling spot until 2012. Wow, talk about painful punishment! Of course he’s NOT a racist.

Americans still blame conservatives and particularly George Bush for the financial collapse of 2007 to present. The liberal media has refused to cover . . . .

And those problems were not just something that happened, they were problems created by ACORN overloading the system in C-P fashion just as the NWRO did between 1967 and 1975.

How, could this happen? You ask. Well, the liberal media somewhere after the First Gulf War began openly rooting for the ultra-left or progressive wing of the Democrats and when if doubt where to find justification began calling any and all conservatives racists and anti-woman, the same strategems they and the progressives employ so successfully today. If conservatives are racists, then none of their ideas are any good since they’re all based in racism. If conservatives are racists, no decent person could ever vote for them If conservatives are all anti-woman, no woman or decent man can vote for them.

Progressives believe we must “progress” beyond the Constitution, an inadequate and out-of-touch document and as Saul Alinsky taught them, “Even when you see the weaknesses in your argument, treat it all like it’s black and white and your adversary is wrong.” In other words, the “noble” progressive ends always justify the progressive means however slimy. This strategy shifted the Democratic Party sharply right toward a radical agenda that most Americans could not identify with. The Republican Party also became a much more big-spending groups and gradually progressive Republicans like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine became more and more common.
And so we approach the single most important “midterm” election in our nation’s history and hold it, hold it, there’s one more scandal to deal with. ACORN, you see was also involved with voter registration. 32 ACORN members have been convicted of voter fraud since 2008. The state of Washington was a beautiful example. Of some 1200 ACORN registrants there, less than 50 were genuine registration of real people. Now . . . .

ITEM: The MSM has claimed that no voter intimidation involving the Black Panthers occurred and then dropped coverage of the story.

ITEM: The MSM seemingly barely knows who Julie Fernandez is.

ITEM: Obama appointee to the Department of Justice (the folks who dropped the Black Panther story), Deputy Attorney General Julie Fernandez told a roomful of DOJ employees there was “Zero interest in prosecuting” cases of Black racism exercised against Whites.

ITEM: Julie Fernandez has also been quoted as another time before another large group saying the DOJ would not be investigating possible violations of the Motor Voter Act “because that would just decrease turnout.” Ms. Fernandez thinks dead voters; voters who’ve moved out of an area; illegal felons; and fraudulent voters registered by ACORN and others; ought to have as much right to vote as you and I do.

Item: The Civil Rights Commission investigating the dropping of the Black Panthers voter intimidation case has run into a stonewall. Ms. Fernandez has commanded the DOJ employees not to answer CRC subpoenas or to testify . . .

Oh, by the way, in the famous picture of Bill Clinton signing the Motor Voter Act (which conservatives rightly called "a license for voter fraud) who are the man and woman standing directly behind Mr. Clinton as he signs this weakened voting bill that Obama's not going to enforce? ** If and when America dies from one mortal blow after another, then consider the MSM willing accomplices and foul abettors of the crime.

Why Didn’t the “Stimulus and Recovery Act Work?”

A lot of Libertarians and other Conservatives are not at all surprised that the Obama Stimulus and Recovery Act not only didn’t work but that it actually cost 2.4 million jobs. The question is why did it fail? Why can’t the government, in its vast wisdom, hee hee, create jobs? And why specifically did our communist (55% of folks out there call Obama a “socialist,” but he is and from birth has always been a communist**) president fail with this specific bill? And let’s ask a corollary question, is “jobs created or saved” a meaningful statistic?

Why didn't it work? It’s our old friend from “Economics in One Lesson” by Henry Hazlitt, “the Broken Window Parable” (linked below a.k.a. the Broken Window Fallacy or Broken Window Fable) and it denies the most fundamental precepts of humankind living in society. While economics is actually the simplest of “social sciences,” the fact that human self-interest (and not only rational Ayn Rand type self-interest, but also greedy deluded conquer-the-world-and-make-everybody-do-my-bidding type self-interest as well) repeatedly involves itself in so-called “economic projections” makes the Broken Window Parable the most fundamental error made by the statists, totalitarians, liberals, progressives, and Obamalike Marxists. Unfortunately, most ordinary citizens don't know and/or don't understand the Broken Window Parable and can easily get caught up with the progressive's $$ Utopian dreams.
While Hazlitt’s book (online free http://jim.com/econ/contents.html) is the most helpful aid to understanding human economic fallacy . . . the “one lesson” smacks of the teachings of Gandhi . . . it’s so damn simple, it’s too easy to ignore (http://jim.com/econ/chap01p1.html) but, of course, add in the technique of putting lessons into little and powerful and memorable stories found in both the simple teachings of Jesus Christ in his parables or of Aesop in his fables and the whole thing becomes instantaneously memorable forever: (http://jim.com/econ/chap02p1.html).

And what is the fundamental truth that makes the broken window fallacy eternally useful and valid? Ayn Rand nailed it on the head with her “The Virtue of Selfishness” one of the tiniest philosophic books you’ll ever ecounter and even that book’s “thinness” can be shunted aside in favor of a three-page “Fable” proving rational human self-interest is the engine of capitalism, of liberty and of our very lives and happiness (http://www.econlib.org/library/Essays/rdPncl1.html). So let us nail it all down, why specifically did the Stimulus and recovery act fail?

A. Imagine a typical average free market job paying X dollars per year counting pay and benefits. A real, bona fide and typically permanent job except when it's taxed out of existence.

B. The average similar union job pays 1.62X dollars per year. The difference is FORCED extra pay and extra benefits and extra protections (seniority, featherbedding, etc., etc. ad nauseum) for union workers^^.

C. The average comparable government job pays 1.94X dollars per year in pay and benefits. These are specious jobs which could not exist were not two real jobs taxed out of existence. Yes, some of these jobs (soldiers, sailors, health educators, etc.) are absolutely necessary. Of course, if you were to eliminate virtually all of the non-essential government jobs, you could expect the free market to create real jobs almost magically.

D. The average government-union job pays roughly 2.28X dollars, nuff said.

E. By lying with statistics, the government adds in temporary “make-work” jobs such as the U.S. census work and treats those as if they were real and permanent jobs when counting.

F. Government initiatives, 100% of them, come at real cost which the Left with their “government can solve every problem” mentality willfully and consistently and constantly choose to ignore because it benefits their power grabbing to overlook such facts. For example, Obama is back to tooting his “five-million new green tech jobs” horn once again. This might actually work and actually help the country . . . but ONLY IF viable and efficient green technology had just arrived on the scene. Under those circumstances eleven million real jobs in the economy would be lost creating those five million green tech jobs and so the effect over say, the first six years of the “mandated conversion” process would be horrendous. However, as the example from the Spanish experience (they went from 3% unemployment to now sitting at 21% unemployment) clearly shows, because viable green technology in large part does NOT actually exist, 90% of the green jobs the Spanish government created were NOT permanent. In the Obama example that translates to five million original green tech jobs becoming 500,000 permanent green tech jobs still at the same initial cost: eleven million real, free market jobs.

G. Since Obama used the stimulus money largely to create not only government jobs, but also government union jobs and also temporary jobs . . . 2.4 actual jobs was the cost for each, often temporary government job created.

H. Ergo, regardless of the amount (100 jobs created or saved???) of jobs created or saved, the only valid statistic is NET JOBS ADDED or LOST in the PRIVATE SECTOR.

I. Addendum, the president’s new financial “reform” package is an even more dangerous initiative. Hidden within its 2,300+ pages are about fifty regulations that favor unions over the rest of us (their benefits and their tariffs upon foreign goods translate to OUR HIGHER PRICES. In seeking with this legislation, members to add to the union rolls and great amounts of money added to the union coffers across the country, Barack Obama has just insured that our recession will now become a full-blown DEPRESSION unless this bill, Obamacare and virtually all else his thrust upon us is repealed.

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

$$ Remember today's progressives are actually against "progress." They use environmental extremism to oppose even ordinary human living. In the name of taking control of everything, they seek to "progress" beyond the "out-dated, ill-conceived and flawed" U.S. Constitution toward Utopian Marxism. Since Rajjpuut sees the U.S. Constitution as the single greatest entity encouraging life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and progress, you easily understand why he is "anti-progressive" in every way.

^^ Most people are surprised that union workers’ pay and benefits amount to “so little.” Think of it as a dynamic process. What happens is this: unions gradually drive their own jobs out of existence (consider the once huge American automobile industry) so the “average” of all union jobs at any given moment is 1.62X only because union jobs are being lost so rapidly (again look at the auto industry, robots are much more common in EX-union assembly-line jobs, of course, because they are economically viable there where they might not be in a non-union position). It’s just one more contradiction built into unionization that the union bosses don’t want the “proletariat” to consider.

And just for the heck of it since someone reading this is going to talk about how FDR “saved the country” from similar “dire straits”:

Obama's Political-Correctness Manifesto

Gets Hangnail,

but P-C Death Far, Far, Far Away

The nasty little euphemism “politically-correct” was first aired to the world when Hillary Clinton and her hubby Bill came to Washington in 1993. Rajjpuut wishes to be absolutely and 100% transparently clear here . . . political-correctness is just a term covering up a savage lie. Political-correctness assumes that whatever is best for the progressives in this country is “best” for America and that is clearly the biggest most-damaging lie in American history.

Today, in commenting upon the Al Qaeda bomb strikes upon two groups of Ugandan citizens gathered together to watch (three bombs were actually involved, one was apparently a dud) the World Cup final game between Spain and Holland, Mr. Obama used a politically incorrect term, saying, “. . . Islamic Radicals were no respecter of the life of African Blacks,” a very unusual statement, why not say “human life?” Since the 86-page report on the Ft. Hood shooting totally avoided mentioning the words “Muslim” or “Islam” or even once named the shooter (Major Nidal Halik Hasan); and Attorney General Eric Holder has gone into utter contortions in Congress to avoid saying the words “Islamic terrorism” or “radical Islamic terrorists” this is indeed “a change,” but what kind of change exactly?

Certainly Nancy Pelosi is NOT on board. She today called White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs “politically inept” after Gibbs said enough house seats were in play in November to allow “the Republicans to win the house.” An obvious fact canNOT be stated because it’s politically-incorrect? The Speaker of the House openly buys into the political-correctness doctrine. Remember how, when talking about Obamacare, she openly said, “we should call it the ‘consumer option’ not the ‘public option’ . . .”

Political-correctness has always been about lies, half-truths, evasions and euphemisms and “right-seeming propaganda” and doing the popular thing rather than the honest and upright action. Political-correctness has almost always been about changing history itself. It began with the first Democratic Progressive Woodrow Wilson. Before Wilson, the first actually progressive president, Teddy Roosevelt a Republican, was guilty of overstepping his bounds (National Parks, Panama Canal) without allowing congress or the people to have a say on his agenda . . . kind of a “might makes right” statement. Wilson, a Princeton educator actually wrote a book changing the story of the Founding Fathers and the creation of the nation.

Wilson**, the first to actually call himself a “progressive,” allowed D.W. Griffith’s racist masterpiece “The Birth of a Nation” to premier at the White House. “The Birth of a Nation” depicts the Ku Klux Klan as the savior of American civilization. Wilson was the first to openly disparage the Constitution and suggest that it was a document that Americans needed to “progress beyond” and used the terms “inadequate” and “outdated.”

Obama’s and Gibbs’ recent remarks definitely do NOT mark the oncoming death of political-correctness but rather merely showing a splinter beneath the skin of the progressive Leviathan. Denying their own racism while labeling all political opponents racists is the progressive stock in trade. Black racism is clearly so politically incorrect that the mainstream media has never been known to make a habit of showing it. Consider the horrific and ugly Black racism of the New Black Panthers which the Department of Justice refused to prosecute; or the racism of the NAACP seen in yesterday’s headlines; or the almost 96% of Blacks that voted for Obama; or the widespread tendency of Blacks to label non-Democrats “Uncle Toms” -- just as they deny Woodrow Wilson’s racism (he and FDR are their big heroes) Black’s canNOT be racists against Whites, they just canNOT be, it wouldn’t be politically-correct, now would it?

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

** Wilson proved so unpopular in his day, that after Wilson's depression was solved by Harding cutting taxes and spending both over 45% ended it and it became known as the "Invisible Depression," progressives stopped calling themselves progressives and adopted the word "liberal" which served them well for more than 80 years.

America as Desired by Obama . . .

Morally, Fiscally Bankrupt

You’ve seen those commercials where someone is saying, “ . . . we don’t make things in America any more . . . ,” a sad commentary on what was once the greatest manufacturing country the world ever knew becoming the greatest outsourcing country the world has ever known. Somewhere along the way America lost its greatness. Now, at a moment in our history where greatness is required of our leaders, instead we’ve been blessed with Marxist ideologue Barak Obama who, eschewing mediocre 2nd World status for the country is aiming us toward abject and utter Banana Republicdom$$. His economic policies have all led in the wrong direction and merely enriched the wallets of his supporters, but out of charity let’s forget all that, let’s look at his plans for our future.

Obama has promised his economic and energy policies will “bankrupt the coal industry” and “necessarily cause the price of electricity to skyrocket.”

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/11/02/obama-well-bankrupt-any-new-coal-plants/

http://gribbitonline.com/tag/mr-obama/

And all of this madness is based upon a lie called “global warming” which even the ultra-liberal London Times has denounced:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6936289.ece

It’s never ever been about cleaning up the atomosphere or about us making the environment better, Obama’s “handler” Joel Rogers has admitted that cap and trade will NOT stop “pollution,” it will just tax those who emit . . . which is a two-fold lie . . . it will tax all of America and all Americans virtually out of existence while enriching the pockets of almost twenty progressive foundations (such as the Tides Foundations, the Joyce Foundation and numerous shadow foundations funded by these two) while, must we remind you, carbon dioxide is NOT actually a pollutant. Profit for the liberal elite and power for Obama. Here’s the endgame he’s brought in store for us . . . .

http://www.stopliberallies.com/more-on-the-ccx-carbon-trading-scandal-633.html

People like Al Gore (5th largest owner), Obama, Rogers, Richard Sandor, Maurice Strong, Franklin Raines, George Soros, about a dozen Goldman Sachs people and the Goldman Sachs firm itself (10% owner), Gore’s London-based Generation Investment Management company -- all of these groups through their ownership of CCX (the Chicago Climate eXchange) which with the passage of cap and trade legislation will gain commissions on virtually every single “trade” in what Richard Sandor has admitted will be annually “a $10 TRillion industry.” Since cap and trade produces NOT ONE new product and adds NOT ONE new service for Americans or the world . . . this means that America’s $15 TRillion economy will become a $25 TRillion economy overnight (with no new products or services and thus all prices will rise 67% the ultimate tax on breathing . . . . The time has come to ask not “Who is John Galt?” but rather “Where is John Galt”** because the country needs him NOW.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galt

The most important truth YOU need to get out of this blog is this, The situation is bad, critical, nearing meltdown and yet, NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT TRUTHS FACING OUR COUNTRY TODAY. On occasion they’ll mention the roughly $14 TRillion national debt now growing by leaps and bounds under Obama . . . but no one is talking about the $110 TRillion in Unfunded obligations^^ the nation faces from Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid . . . nor are they mentioning that it’s highly likely that our Unfunded obligations from Welfare and similar entitlement programs could add another 80% to that figure pushing the nation toward total debt and unfunded obligations in excess of $215 TRillion.

In fact, the U.S. congresses and presidents have made a policy of definitely NOT TALKING about these matters since about 1977 when the combinations of building social security obligations, the new welfare state, Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” met the new wave of outrageousness with Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment act of 1977 when for the first time the federal government REQUIRED lenders to make knowingly bad loans. The fact that this evil mortgage guarantee program could be expanded four times (’92, twice in ’95 and put on steroids in ’98) while the set-asides since 1934 and 1965 were blithely ignored shows you how corrupt the system was. But in orders of corruption, you ain’t seen nothing yet, baby, because Barack Obama’s now in charge.

Of course, Barack Obama who reportedly was extremely morose during the years 1989-93 when the Berlin Wall fell and the Warsaw Pact nations and U.S.S.R discarded communism . . . now has his opportunity to deliver to the world an utterly bankrupt United States of America and all will end well in the future hee-hee-ho-ha-hee-hee-ho-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha . . . the combination of what progressives have already done to us with their “spread the wealth FDR and LBJ ‘Great Society’ schemes” and what Barack Obama is doing to us, will make disaster concepts like nuclear winter and other contemplated environmental disaster scenarios seem like a day at the beach.

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

$$ and meanwhile our media does not report that the real unemployment rate (a.k.a. the functional unemployment rate has reached 17.6% and with underemployment## we're now talking about 22% of the country facing job problems

##underemployment involves only having part-time work; former managers, etc. now having fulltime McDonalds' jobs and the like

^^ Look at how this played into the hands of the progressive enemy among us (folks like Saul Alinsky author of “Rules for Radicals”; and Richard Cloward and Frances Piven whose Cloward-Piven strategy was employed by them to create the American Welfare Rights Organization, AWRO, in 1967 with a black militant named Wiley to bankrupt the city of New York and just miss bankrupting the entire state of New York by using street intimidation tactics to get eight million new welfare recipients on the rolls by 1969. Cloward and Piven when bragging (orally and in writing) about their “accomplishments” recommended that voter registration and housing be their followers’ next areas of emphasis. The picture of President Clinton signing the Motor Voter Act with both C and P of C-P Strategy standing directly behind him is classic. MVA was called “a license for massive voter fraud” for good reason, now a Ms. Fernandez in the Department of Justice, already infamous for not prosecuting the 2008 New Black Panthers’ voter intimidation case and telling roomfuls of people that the DOJ will NOT prosecute Black defendants in voting cases with White victims, in the same roomful of people has stated that Motor Voter Act laws (weak as they are) so that the dead, the moved away, the duplicate and triplicate and other fraudulent voters carried on the rolls of a city, etc. can not be removed from the rolls. And who has been key in voter registration and in housing abuses? Lawyers like Barack Obama shaking down banks and other lenders forACORN . . . ACORN which gave us at least 18 full-out years warring against the system they hate and getting loans for people without I.D., without wealth or income, without jobs, without credit references, with abysmal credit ratings, people without rental histories, people without even rental addresses, and most important of all, even illegal immigrants. Somehow we’re NOT supposed to tie together the fact that the sub-prime lending crisis was the main ingredient in our poisoned soup?

**actually Rajjpuut would NOT recommend either the Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged from Ayn Rand but instead “Capitalism the Unknown ideal,” “For the New Intellectual,” “The Virtue of Selfishness,” or for fiction fans the brief novelette “Anthem.”

How, Why the Republican Party has Failed both America
and Conservatives and What's to Be Done about It

Liberal Yahoo and the ultra- liberal Associated Press have both shown great insight and generated greater incitement (stimulus to action) for the opposing parties in the November elections and outlined how they’ll probably play out . . . .

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100705/ap_on_el_ge/us_nationalized_election

In the excellent article linked just above, Charles Babington of the AP says that “Democrats and Republicans are framing the elections in starkly different terms, with GOP strategists painting it as a national referendum on President Barack Obama and the party in power, and Democrats working feverishly to make all politics local.” Rajjpuut who, in his school teaching days could boast of coaching several Colorado State Chess Team Champions, agrees whole-heartedly because the art of politics should be successfully conducted as a strategic magic act for the have nots; and a strategic trench warfare for the haves. Just as the Democrats were in most people’s eyes, the haves in 2006 and 2008 (they were perceived as having the issues on their side); in 2010, clearly conservatives have the issues favoring them. In a larger sense, however, this strategic view clearly underlines the failings of the Republican Party to represent the needs of the nation and of its conservatives over the last 109 years as Progressivism^^ has progressively brought the country more and more evil and closer and closer to utter ruin.

When good men fail to act effectively, evil gains a toe-hold. When good men fail to understand their cause, evil makes its case. When good men fail to act, evil comes to power. When good men fail to act and to understand, evil comes to dominate. When good men act wrongly either by failing to act or failing to understand or both evil WINS. This short paragraph outlines why and how the Republican Party has failed conservatives and the country in the past, is failing them now, and will (unless serious change occurs) continue to fail conservatives and America in the future. More on this later

. . . .

When coaching his scholastic champion chess teams, Rajjpuut made a point of hammering away at tactics as a blended-subsidiary to strategy so that whether elementary, middle school or high schoolers were involved . . . the big picture always stood out stark and clear: own the center, develop and coordinate your pieces, before you touch a piece or pawn (touch-move rule in championship events) prefer attack to defense; then stop, ask yourself the question “What could go wrong?” If nothing could go wrong, you’ve selected your move and except for finding a better one which also has no downside . . . you’re moving toward victory. Throw in good tactics and knowing how to crush in the endgame and victory was virtually assured.

This approach was gained from studying management principles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas via the Kepner-Tregoe Management System . . . clearly the Republican Party could benefit from understanding and complying with good management principles, the basic economic and constitutional imperatives of Republicanism, and the underlying common sense fundamentals of free market economics.

Our neighborhood was recently plagued by a Democratic campaign worker for the more liberal of that party’s senate candidates (Ex-speaker of the state house Romanoff who was running against semi-moderate Bennett. Romanoff had been considering running for governor but didn’t wish to contest the seat against popular ex-Denver mayor and the whole nation is, thanks to Obama’s efforts to influence Romanoff to drop the race against Bennett as well as the Sestak issue in Pennsylvania, aware of this particular race). The fellow was a polite and curious sort and discussed politics with Rajjpuut for roughly 25 minutes. Here’s what impressed him – our progresive opposition -- the most:

1. That our $13 TRillion national debt was the least of our problems.

2. That the $110 TRillion in unfounded liabilities (Social Security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid) were not being addressed by either party.

3. That congress had recently done a great thing with its Pay-Go law requiring that before any new spending measure can be passed a way to pay for it either by instituting a new tax or by cutting spending be found . . . . but that congress had since passing that law refused to use Pay-go even once since, just as it had failed to honor the set-asides for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and thus since 1934 has built up that $110 TRillion in unfunded liabilities.

4. That Obama has told the nation his energy policies will “necessarily make the price of electricity skyrocket” and that he’s told the San Francisco Chronicle his policies will “bankrupt the coal industry.”

5. That Obama has promised (threatened?) to create five million new green jobs when green technology is NOT yet viable. That Spain in 1997 led Europe with a booming economy and only 3% unemployment before they turned to green jobs and today Spain has 21% unemployment and is, next to Greece, the weakest economy in Europe. That according to a Spanish study each green job required $667,000 in subsidies which cost the real economy 2.2 jobs. And because only 10% of the green jobs proved permanent (the vast majority lasted from three months to eighteen months) that meant that IF Obama instituted his five million green jobs it was likely that only 500,000 of them would prove permanent at the cost of eleven million jobs in the real (unsubsidized) economy a 22/1 ratio that perfectly explains why Spain’s economy went south.

6. Yes, green tech would be ideal, but green tech is not yet viable. So it would make much more sense instead of subsidizing $677,000 for one green job . . . to subidize instead $6.77 Billion for research for the top hundred winners in green-tech viability from a national contest judged by the best scientists available and seeing if that stimulus can get us a green-tech Edison and a highly desirable green-tech future based on independent American innovation.

7. And tah-dah! more than anything else the following information impressed the Democrat and he took down the particulars to research later on his home computer:

A. This crucial website (the most famous brief essay in ecomics and the simple and utter refutation of Keynesian approaches such as Obama’s stimulus-stimulus and more stimulus approaches) explains what free markets are and what their strengths are:

http://www.econlib.org/library/Essays/rdPncl1.html

B. Information about this site:

http://jim.com/econ/

and after hearing the “one lesson” (from “Economics in One Lesson” by Henry Hazlitt, linked just above) he too realized that: when you look at economic situations which present themselves you must get the whole picture not just the supposedly desirable government spending stimulus plan. And then illustrating the one lesson with the briefest of fables: “The Broken Window Parable,” which utterly and totally caught him by surprise and clearly delighted him (both linked right here) . . .

Thus we now come to the logical question, how has the Republican Party failed the nation and its conservatives for 109 years? Remembering that Rajjpuut is a Libertarian and NOT a Republican and that the Republican Party is the minority party in this country . . . .

A. Republicans have failed to understand who and what the enemy is. That enemy is and has been Progressivism and Progressives since Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican, became the first notable Progressive. Not saying that Teddy Roosevelt didn’t do any good . . . just that he was the first president to champion Progressive causes which later in the hands of Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter and to a lesser extent Bill Clinton and George W. Bush led us to our present disastrous economic collapse. Republicans haven’t been able to effectively oppose progressivism and get support against progressivism from would-be conservatives because they don’t understand it themselves.

B. Most Republicans do NOT understand Republicanism (the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution is the most Republican document in the history of the world; and the 10th Amendment of the Bill of Rights taken in conjunction with the doctrine of Separation of Church and State are by far the most important parts of the Bill of Rights the spark plug for all the other Amendments) and . . . because they do NOT understand Republicanism, they cannot and do not explain Republicanism well and thus educate liberal, Democratic-conservative and independent-conservative voters.

C. Many Republicans continuously and deliberately violate Republicanism by opposing Separation of Church and state in Public Schools. The Founding Fathers (virtually all of them Christian) did NOT set up a Christian nation, they deliberately set up a nation where ALL religions would be welcome but in which no one particular religion could dominate (remembering the problems with England's state supported church) and endanger our freedoms. If you want one reason why Independent and Democratic conservatives are more likely to abstain or to vote Democtat, this is the one.

D. Two isues here, Republican corruption as shown in sexual and business scandals on the one hand and the simple fact that most Republicans have ceaselessly been UNTRUE to fundamental Republican principles such as fiscal conservativism; limited federal government; adherence to the Constitution; protection of our borders; and balanced budgets. Most Americans are conservative on these issues and have been routinely disappointed by Republican candidates promising to adhere to these principles and then abandoning them once in office. ALL Americans are conservative on political integrity.

E. Anti-abortion and even Anti-contraception are linked in much of the public’s collective mindset as Republican values. History has linked the Republican Party to this stance and it is why many women vote for Democrats. If Republicans had a stance that the Independent voter could buy into that would be one thing, and it would probably NEVER cost even one vote. However, Republicans have adopted a losing argument and paraded it before the public as the most visible aspect of Republicanism.

That losing argument is that abortion should be denied to victims of incest; victims of rape; mothers whose health is endangered; very young girls; and other victims in extraordinary cases.

Americans pride themselves on rooting for the underdog and the victim and consider old Republican opposition to contraception and family planning as totally unjustified state interference (10th Amendment again) into their personal lives.

Because that old Republican stance is so unwieldy, progressive opponents have made the Republican Party look outdated and uncaring. Abortion (unfortunately abortion virtually on demand), has been the law of the land for thirty-eight years now. One could argue that abortion (freedom over one’s body in exigent circumstances like those named above) and contraception and the resulting freedom to plan one’s family size and spacing are actually Republican causes, but in any case, because the Republican Party deliberately adopted the losing argument outlined in italics above . . . for most voters abortion on demand by contrast to the obdurate Republican stand seemed preferable. For women, in particular, this hardened Republican anti-victim stand has made the Republican Party a political destination to avoid.

To sum it up: politics is a game of strategy and tactics. The United States Constitution is the greates winning political game plan ever created. The U.S. Constitution is a decidedly conservative document designed to protect state, county, and local freedoms as well as individual freedoms against the ever-present tendency of centralized governments to expand and become more expensive and more intrusive. We are now in big trouble because for roughly 109 years, the Republican Party, the standard-bearer for conservativism has not stood strong against progressivism. In all strategic encounters, the basic rule of victory is this: find a strategic and tactical path that makes your own strengths the single most important consideration at issue and your opponent’s strengths of negligible import, while effectively managing your own weaknesses and exposing your opponent’s weaknesses and making them them of paramount importance. So let it be written, so let it be done . . . .

Right now and for all the foreseeable future, only overt and honorable conservativism (fiscally and Constitutionally) can save us. The Republican Party needs to re-invent itself in light of and in line with the party’s original conservative, Libertarian values (fiscal and Constitutional conservativism, strong borders and strong national defense, and largely a live-and-let- live social** agenda). No single election has been more crucial in the history of our country and the Republican Party must deliver or the nation is quite likely LOST!

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

** for example, gay unions are fine and allow them all the rights of cohabiting common-law people, but don’t call it marriage and NEVER allow gay adoption
^^ It's important for ALL thinking Americans to carefully consider this definition of Progressivism: "The perceived need to 'progress' beyond our 'out-dated' and 'ill-conceived' United States Constitution." Rajjpuut believes this is NOT only the most accurate definition of progressivism but also the most telling of the evil inherent in that movement. Progressivism in practice becomes a creeping (Fabian) socialism and moves the nation toward utter statism and communism.
