Barry Donadio Supports The 2nd Amendment

Barry Donadio gave remarks on the 2nd Amendment on June 26th to Republican constituents in Salisbury, Maryland. The Wicomico County Republican Club of Maryland hosted his appearance and discussion on the 2nd Amendment. The event was held at the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce located at 144 East Main Street in Salisbury, Maryland.
Donadio said "Our Second Amendment rights are an individual right and not for only those serving in the military." During his talk, Donadio expressed his belief that the Second Amendment is a women's rights issue. He said "Every female U.S. Citizen over the age of 18 and without a serious criminal history should have the unrestricted right to carry a concealed handgun on their person for self defense." Donadio also cited the findings of the Supreme Court ruling "District of Columbia v. Heller", which supports limiting infringements to the Second Amendment.
Donadio told constituents to never give up protecting the rights of the Second Amendment as it is an amendment that safeguards our liberties. Donadio advised the group to legally and safely exercise Second Amendment rights as the U.S. Constitution grants us to.
The presentation was very well received by what appeared to be a Pro-Second Amendment audience. In attendance, were the President of the Wicomico County Republican Club Shawn Bradley, Maryland State Delegate Johnny Mautz, Wicomico Republican Central Committeewoman Julie Brewington, Maryland State Senator Addie Eckardt, Maryland State Circuit Court Judge Matthew A. Maciarello and the first female Police Chief of Salisbury, Barbara Duncan.
Mr. Donadio said; " I appreciate the hospitality of the Wicomico Republican Club President Shawn Bradley."
Barry Donadio led an honorable career in the Volunteer Ambulance Service, Volunteer Fire Department, the Military, Law Enforcement, and the United States Secret Service. He was assigned to the White House during the Bush and Obama Administrations. He also served in multiple Middle Eastern war zones during his career. In 2013, he authored the book " TWA Flight 800 First Responder Witness Account". In 2014, he was elected to the Queen Anne's County Republican Central Committee in Maryland. He currently serves as President of Public Security LLC. He is also a Maryland State Police certified pistol instructor that offered free training for the entire MDGOP. In January 2017, he was appointed the Sergeant At Arms of the Maryland Republican Party. Donadio has publicly taken strong stances on the Second Amendment. He has also supported and endorsed Pro-Second Amendment Republican Politicians and candidates for office in recent years.
When the organizers of the "Across The Bay10K" needed a serious security expert they contacted Barry Donadio. He is the President of Public Security LLC. He is the President of the private security and investigation firm "Public Security LLC". The company is licensed in Maryland, Washington D.C. and New York. It is also a registered business in Virginia and is currently seeking registration in Pennsylvania. Barry Donadio released his book on September 16th 2013 after keeping his witness account confidential for 17 years. Donadio was one of the First Responders that answered the call to assist the downed TWA Flight 800 on July 17th 1996. He served with the East Moriches Community Ambulance in New York as an Emergency Medical Technician. Since then, he has become an advocate for those affected by the crash and all First Responders.
On July 17th 2016, on the 20th anniversary of the crash, Mr. Donadio arranged for access to the East Moriches Coast Guard Station for some of the families of the victims of the flight. The East Moriches Coast Guard Station is where rescue operations originated on the night of the tragedy.

Barry Donadio is no stranger to racial tensions. He served in various law enforcement positions in New York City, Long Island, Maryland, and in the military. His experience in law enforcement stems as far back to 1989. Now, he is the CEO of a high end private security firm which responded to the recent riots in Baltimore.

Barry Donadio's private security and investigation firm "Public Security LLC", put 65 Marylanders to work this month. Most were Eastern Shore Marylanders hired to work the "10K Over The Bay Bridge Run" that took place on November 6th 2016. The new staff fetched a high hourly rate of pay as Public Security LLC decided that paying Marylanders a high wage was more important then their profit according to their business strategy. After working the event, the newly hired Marylanders were afforded further employment opportunities with Public Security LLC on a part-time basis. Those positions are expected to lead to full time positions.
The new staff working for Public Security LLC are happy with the new opportunity. Many feel it will open more doors for them. Kristen Brook, a newly hired Event Staff, thanked the company President Barry Donadio for the allowing all of them to be apart of the Bridge Race. Deborah Thornton-Lee expressed how proud she was to work for Public Security LLC at the event.
Barry Donadio stated that he focused on recruiting residents of Queen Anne's County, so they could display Eastern Shore pride in their services to his clients. On September 8th 2016, Barry Donadio was re-elected to be second in charge of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly in Chestertown, Maryland. The Assembly consists of 4th Degree Knights from 3 eastern shore councils belonging to the Knights of Columbus organization.

If you search youtube, you can find countless murders, sexual assaults, robberies and abductions all taking place in the face of a security camera. The cameras did a great job documenting the attacks, but didn't stop the attacks. Criminals know to simply wear a mask and it is business as usual.
Current public opinion is that once a security camera is installed, they don't have to worry about crime. Security cameras are an excellent supplement and tool. It should be part of your security plan. It should never be your entire security plan and only tool that you are depending on.
There are security cameras at the White House and other high risk locations. Without an armed protective force protecting those locations, would those cameras stop anyone? The simple answer is "No". It is the same for your venue or event.
Clients need armed private security officers to respond to threats against the public. Security Officers take the focus off innocent victims and draw the attention of criminals to them. This allows innocents to flee during an active shooter scenario that we are seeing so often these days nationwide.
Chances are, once you have armed Security Officers on your site, criminals will choose a softer target, one without armed security.
