Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke eloquently and forcefully about an America where black people were forced to endure a shameful condition.  Well, black people can look no further than the White House to find a man who has been perpetrating a fraud and a shameful condition against black Americans for five years.

Most every black family  and most likely every young black child who lived anywhere in America had to be celebrating the day that Barack  Obama took the oath of office as the first person of color to occupy the White House as president.  Now a half decade later, those same black families and same black adults and teens have seen their incomes, life savings and job opportunities spiraling downward like an avalanche.

Five years into the Barack Obama’s presidency, the number of African-Americans participating in the labor force has hit rock bottom and now threatens to even go through the basement floor, according to the U.S. Labor Department.  Consider the direness of the situation.  In January, exactly a year after Obama began his second term of office, “the drop in labor force participation was sharpest for African Americans, who saw a decline of 0.3 percentage points to 60.2 percent, the lowest rate since December of 1977,” according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Those are statistics which would have sent Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and legions of NAACP marchers heading for Washington to demonstrate against the occupant of the White House.  Instead, these same certified hypocritical black leaders of the Afro-American community have given Obama a “Stay out of Impeachment Hall Pass.”

This is more than frightening when one considers that each and every black pastor that prays over the body of a young black teen that was caught in the cross-fire of black-on-black crime should now be speaking out about Obama.  Where is the hue and cry this month of black celebration from these men and women of the cloth, who know that these kids and their families need jobs and opportunities and not bullets and funerals?

But, yet the halls of worship are as silent as the ideas that are emanating from the Oval Office for remedying the problems that weigh as anchors around the necks of dispossessed black families in America.

The Right Side Of History

4063824158?profile=original

Time and time again I have been accused of being on the “wrong side of history” when it comes to the arguments over abortion and, especially, to so-called gay marriage. This linguistic fad has exploded in use lately as if history itself is the sole arbitrator of what is right and true. It is the weapon of utter dismissiveness that is boldly and routinely wielded by the Left.

One should, in reality, not be interested in being on the “right side of history,” but on the right side of right and wrong.

The most recent and sudden burst of Leftist momentum in the culture wars have Progressives engaging in histrionic vitriol on a massive scale. Progressives make the fundamental mistake of feeling that being in lockstep with, or creating, social fads and whims of popular opinion at this particular moment in history is equivalent of being on the “right side of history.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

History is full of misguided ideological isms that seized the moment and manipulated cultures, societies, and circumstances all the while declaring themselves on the “right side of history.” The “right side of history” argument is an appeal to the authority of an imagined future that hasn’t even happened yet and an attempt to convince the opposition that resistance is futile while their agenda is inevitable. Few in our present generation fully realize that national socialism, fascism, Marxism, and even anarchism were each considered by a great number of people not that long ago the new, great, and inevitable ideology that would usher in a new utopian age.

They were mostly seen as movements of the young, often centered on charismatic personalities, challenged the old norms and values, and were to be the great correctors of all the societal ills and wrongs that had come before them. They could not picture themselves as being anything but on the “right side of history.” In the end, each ended up being cast upon the ashbin of history were they belonged. Opposing them was choosing to be on right side of right and wrong, despite being declared as being on the “wrong side of history” and obstructing their “inevitable” whirlwind of social and cultural change.

The conservative ideology has never overly concerned itself with the whims of popular opinion and the surges of mob mentality that have on occasion affected the political realm. It is a political philosophy that seeks to stand on the shoulders of the wise men who preceded us and the tried-and-true principles of the past while seeking to bring hope and intelligent change to the future. Conservatives reject the concept of governing by the whims of the moment, the passing fads of popular opinion, or the panic of momentary crisis.

Progressives, like the other radical isms of the last century, seek to overturn the morals, traditions, and values of the past instead of building and improving upon them. And that is a stark contrast to conservatism. Progressivism declares that rejecting the concept of the sanctity of innocent human life and cheerleading all attempts to redefine, degrade, trivialize, breakdown, mock, and otherwise downplay marriage and the family as it has been traditionally defined since the beginning of mankind is being on the “right side of history.”  They could not be more wrong.

While the Right sees traditional marriage and family structure as the most elementary and important building block of civilization the Left views it as little more than a confining legacy that is nothing but a breeding ground of patriarchy and misogyny and should be, at best, viewed with suspicion and perhaps even with some open hostility. That explains the recent, full-fledged assault on the institution of marriage and what it is has always been. For as soon as marriage is anything other than a compact between one man and one woman then it loses its cohesion and structure and becomes just whatever one chooses it to be. And once it has been degraded enough, the institution of marriage loses its integral role and structural place in modern culture and society. Destroy the family, and the State has to fill that role and void in society. That is the ultimate goal of the new social engineers and their idea of the “right side of history.” There should be no shame in opposing such agendas.

Progressivism deserves all the scorn and contempt that has ever been heaped upon it. Its various isms and championed causes are in direct contradiction to the tried and true principles that have been passed down throughout history and it is as much a morally bankrupt and intellectually dishonest ideology as any of the more infamous ones that preceded it. When mankind fails to build upon the wisdom of the ancients and rejects the most basic of tried and true principles and institutions, then it loses its way as it blunders blindly into the future. In reality, history does not have sides, only historians do. I care not what some historian may someday declare of my ideological views or advocation of timeless principles. What I do care about, in the end, is having been a champion of what is right and true no matter what.

Gentlemen and Ladies,

I have an issue with the "news" I witness on my local Fox channel..... (Fox 29/1029, San Antonio, Texas).
Mind you, I do not have an issue with the News I witness on Fox National - but the vast majority of Americans do not watch Fox National News - they watch their own local channel of Fox.
How can Americans form an opinion of what is REALLY going on in our Nation if they never see what is going on?
Yesterday, September 11th, 2013 was the anniversary of "9/11" where almost 3,000 people were murdered in cold blood by radical islamic (muslim) terrorists....
You would think that something like an organization who called themselves "The million muslim march on Washington DC on 9/11" (later called themselves "million american march against fear") would find itself on local Fox news - as this is a slap in the face to every American Citizen....  and you would think that more than a million motorcycle riders forming a "march" in protest of the "million muslim march" on 9/11, a march not only as a response to the muslim march but a tribute to 9/11 and the murders in Benghazi would make news.... Yet Americans heard absolutely NOTHING!
Yesterday History was made - yet nothing to be heard on a local Fox channel..... (or any other channel for that matter)
What kind of "reporting" is that?
I say again: How can Americans form a viewpoint or understand just how badly they are being played by main-stream-media and our government.... when the only network news (Fox) that is actually reporting on a National scale - doesn't require their local channels to report the REAL news.... and people believe what they (do not) see.
If the Network (Fox) cannot require integrity in reporting the news from their local channels - what point is there to watching ANY network news at all?
Perhaps as a Tea Party Command Center member I should suggest - as a group - we start a boycott of all television news channels for lack of integrity....
Respectfully,

Why Would an Author Write Kids’ Books about the Vietnam War?

By Marjorie Haun

“Why on earth would an author write kids’ books about the Vietnam War?” I’ve been confronted with that question countless times as I’ve endeavored to  write a children’s historical non-fiction series titled, “The Heroes of the Vietnam War: Books for Children.” Remarkably, children’s books about the Vietnam Era comprise a literary niche that is very limited. But a lack of kids’ books about the Vietnam War is just one motivation for bringing a dark region of our national memory to light. My experience in tailoring difficult lessons to fit the needs of young learners provides a writer’s challenge that I greatly enjoy. Taking stories of heroism during a difficult and often confusing era in American History, and drawing out those stories that teach principles such as bravery, friendship, compassion, and sacrifice, is rewarding to both me and my audience.

Book one, “Little Bird Dog and the Big Ship” is a true story about events of the last day of the Vietnam War. Code-named Operation Frequent Wind, the evacuation of refugees from South Vietnam was one of the largest humanitarian undertakings in history. Book one details a real-life adventure that took place amid enemy gunfire with chaos in the air and death in the water. In formulating my book about the escape of heroic South Vietnamese pilot Bung Ly and his family, I chose to leave in an element danger. The tale of a family escaping certain death and heading out to sea on a little airplane with nowhere to land is unavoidably suspenseful, but I was careful not to overwhelm youngsters with terrifying images. Little Bird Dog and the Big Ship ends happily with the successful escape of the Ly family amid cheers of jubilation from the crew of the U.S.S. Midway.

Book two of my series, “Saving the Vietnamese Orphans,” is about the equally dangerous mission of Operation Babylift. The compassionate directives of President Gerald R. Ford actuated by the Air Force, American Servicemen and women, several private airlines, and countless civilian volunteers, swept over three thousand orphaned Amerasian, Vietnamese, and ethnic Chinese children, out of harm’s way and into the hearts of adoptive families across the globe.

These stories showcase the goodness of Americans and the heroism of her warriors during the Vietnam Era, a time that must not be forgotten nor mythologized in cultural and historical murk.

I submitted my books to the giant retailer, Walmart. They were skeptical at first, but seeing the potential in “The Heroes of the Vietnam War: Books for Children,” Walmart has given me a remarkable opportunity. By proving that my books are important to American readers and of high interest to Vietnam veterans, and everyone else who wants the truth told about our heroes, Walmart has placed my books in a sort of competition. I NEED YOUR HELP!

4063662454?profile=original           Is Black History Month still necessary with Barack Obama Election

Has Black History Month met its end with the re-election of Barack Obama? One could make a solid case for calling a halt to the month of February as an official celebration of the achievements of Black Americans, since many of the injustices of the past have died away along with the perpetrators. In the 21st Century should not the focus be on a unified America that celebrates and acknowledges the achievements of all Americans throughout the year?

The advent of Black History month began in 1926 as the second week in February, and was known as Negro History Week. Its creator, black historian Carter G. Woodson was clear about its purpose and eventual end. He insisted at the time that the holiday be eliminated, when “black history became fundamental to American history.”

Last year, noted international author Maya Angelou appeared to agree when she explained in an interview, "We want to reach a time when there won't be Black History Month, when black history will be so integrated into American history that we study it along with every other history," according to Fox News.

Well, it appears apparent that the jury is in and the verdict is clear, the need for Black History Month has met it original purpose. Woodson’s edict was that the need for the month to continue into perpetuity was not its purpose. Black history has been mainstreamed into what it always has been, and that is; part of America’s history. Even Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman strongly asserted in a Sixty Minutes interview, "Black History Month is ridiculous… Black History is American History!"

Well it seems that Barack Obama’s election has sealed the deal on that, considering that February was chosen as the official month to honor Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Lincoln freed the black slaves and, is it not fitting that the end of this holiday has indeed run its natural course with the election and re-election of the first black president of the United States?

Americans have an opportunity to move on and stop reliving the practices and outrages of racism which once permeated every aspect of the nation’s culture. Blacks have been elected governors, and congress has growing numbers of black elected leaders. Now with a president who is black, where again is the need for Black History Month?

It is unnecessary to keep track of black achievement in areas of professionalism and other fields of achievement. These achievements are American achievements, and should not continue to be segregated or celebrated by racial designation.

The nation should be focused on celebrating the future of a united nation where racial designations have no purpose or place. If America is to truly become one nation, indivisible with justice for all, then it must do away with the categories and the special designations which continue to keep Americans separate and apart. Is this not now the spirit and practice of reverse racism?

Have we forgotten

"My friends, we declare that this nation is able to legislate for its own people on every question, without waiting for the aid or consent of any other nation on earth; and upon that issue we expect to carry every state in the Union. I shall not slander the inhabitants of the fair state of Massachusetts nor the inhabitants of the state of New York by saying that, when they are confronted with the proposition, they will declare that this nation is not able to attend to its own business. It is the issue of 1776 over again. Our ancestors, when but three million in number, had the courage to declare their political independence of every other nation; shall we, their descendants, when we have grown to seventy millions, declare that we are less independent than our forefathers?" William Jennings Bryan.  It seems we ought to think about what is we are doing in the world.  It might seem absurd but I would really like to see what would happen if we told China to take our debts and wipe their collective rear ends with them.  It doesn't really matter to them that they break international law everyday, and have no respect for intellectual property.  I Could be wrong but considering they sponsor piracy and considering they are the reason our society is declining it seems like the appropriate time to tell China to take a hike.  If they want their money they can come and get it, oh yeah guess what they can have their money when the stop poisoning us.  I think we should burn all the products made in china and raise tariffs on all of their goods to supplement our own economy.  Hey I'm not a communist or a war monger but this wouldn't be the first war over money and it certainly won't be the last.

Americans Now Learning Real History,

Might NOT Have to Repeat Ill-Effects

A recent Rasmussen Reports Survey seems to show that Americans are starting to understand that the country was NOT rescued from the Great Depression by government spending and government policies (a.k.a. interference in the free markets), but rather that the government actually cost the nation millions of  jobs, intensified a normal recession with its increased spending, creating and lengthening the depression and eventually turning it into the “Great Depression.” The lesson, however, is not necessarily transferring into a greater understanding of today’s economics . . . .

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/business/general_business/february_2011/43_say_government_policy_mistakes_created_great_depression_of_1930s_26_disagree

According to the Rasmussen survey, 43% now say that government policy mistakes created the Great Depression of the ‘30s; while only 26% disagree and 31% say they are unsure. Americans, today however, are still greatly confused about the cause of the financial meltdown which, they think, began about October, 2007. More on that later . . . .

Despite the Rasmussen poll results, thanks to two and a half generations of revisionist history ,today far too many Americans still believe that Herbert Hoover was  a) a conservative rather than a progressive  b) that greedy Wall Street created the Great Depression c) that Hoover’s administration spent almost nothing fighting the economic problems d) that government spending can create jobs in the private sector e) that in 1932 Franklin Delano Roosevelt campaigned for president against Hoover’s “conservativism” f) that FDR did virtually everything entirely different than Hoover and g) that FDR saved the country from the Great Depression. Let’s quickly put those lies to rest before dealing with today’s situation, eh?

Since progressivism (we must ‘progress’ beyond the out-dated and seriously flawed U.S. Constitution if we are ever to make ‘progress’ toward an earthly socialist or even Marxist Utopia) first became a serious undercurrent in American Politics in the 1890’s only once in the following 120 years has a serious economic downturn been handled by pure conservative restraint . . . and no, Ronald Reagan was NOT president when that happened (Reagan actually increased government spending while cutting taxes extra-severely and created some whopping deficits in the process of also creating twenty million jobs).

Teddy Roosevelt was our first progressive president. You’ll remember that his “Bull Moose Party” was actually a third party officially known as, wait for it:  the “Progressive Party.” Teddy certainly had done a lot of questionable and presumably out-and-out unconstitutional things earlier when he was a Republican president, luckily most of them worked out pretty well for the nation.  Perhaps a Progressive president once every century or so wouldn’t be a bad thing, but certainly no more often?

Our first ultra-progressive president, Woodrow Wilson, however, was another story. Besides giving us the Federal Reserve Banking system and the income tax (still called today: “progressive” income tax), Wilson was a great propagandist who ran for a second term under the slogan “He kept us out of War” but within a month after his March, 1916 inauguration he deliberately and unnecessarily thrust us into World War I. He was the first truly big-spending president the country had ever known . . . way, way beyond the costs of the war. When his term was winding down, we were in a serious recession much worse than the recession sparked by the 1929 collapse. When he left office in March, 1921 the country was in a full-fledged depression.Curiously, those events are generally overlooked by history. People in the know, however, speak of “The Invisible Depression” or of the “Not-so-Great Depression.” Why was the Invisible Depression so invisible we don’t even know about it today?

Two things: 1) revisionist progressive historians have done everything possible to hide this quite remarkable set of events and keep us from comparing it to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s approach while creating an enormous myth of FDR as a savior and 2) these policies worked out as the launching pad for the World’s most expansive decade in free market history and gets lost in the shuffle while everyone writes books and novels and treatises about the “Roaring ‘20’s” instead. What actually happened was this:

Warren G. Harding and his vice president, Calvin Coolidge took office in March, 1921 with a full-fledged economic contraction underway. The full story is available from the Cato Institute here:

http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=9880

but let’s sum it up briefly.  Unemployment stood 150% higher than it was a year earlier; and GDP was only 76% of 1920 levels. Harding immediately cut government spending 49%; taxes 48%; and reduced government debt 30%.   Unlike the business-bashing that Wilson, FDR, LBJ (Lyndon Johnson) and Obama are infamous for, the Harding administration did everything it could to get government out of business’ way.   In fifteen months the country was humming again and the Invisible Depression was over. When Harding died, VP, Calvin Coolidge continued the same policies saying “the business of America is business.”

Where did Herbert Hoover come from? Hoover was a highly respected humanitarian with an engineering background that Harding installed as his Secretary of Commerce to appease certain Eastern Republican interests.  Under both Harding and Coolidge was very ineffective. Hoover promoted government intervention under the rubric "economic modernization" and tried to get Harding to dole out unemployment benefits to ease the pain of the high 1921 joblessness. Through the next eight years both presidents Harding and Coolidge largely ignored Hoover.

Hoover was, in short a progressive . . .   Some people are aware of that but here’s what most don’t know. At the end of World War II, Hoover’s humanitarianism including involvement in a program akin to the Marshall Program after World War II which benefitted defeated Germany and the Bolsheviks in Russia. Hoover was so influential and well respected that the New York Times named him “One of the ten most important living Americans. Woodrow Wilson considered Hoover “my ideal successor,” Democratic leaders looked upon Hoover as a strong presidential candidate and FDR said, “There could be none finer.”    Hoover, who up to then was a-political, said that because of his childhood memories, he had no interest in being a Democrat (supposedly the only Democrat in his home city was “the town drunk) and ignored Democratic overtures.   Hoover decided he’d become a Republican and announced his candidacy for president but couldn’t get much Republican support although he did finish 2nd in the 1920 California Primary.   Despite the gridlock at the RNC Convention that year, Hoover’s name was never seriously discussed and Harding became a popular compromise candidate and he won the nomination on the 10th ballot.

After the 1920 Republican -- to appease influential Republicans on both coasts -- Harding installed Hoover as his Secretary of Commerce. Hoover’s only real contributions during his stint as Commerce Secretary were some important traffic safety (embracing motor vehicle standards, rules of the road, and urban traffic control) innovations. Nevertheless, he sought to expand the Commerce Secretary domain in every possible way. He became known for trying to take over parts of other cabinets so much so that the joke was that Hoover was "the Secretary of Commerce... and Under-Secretary of Everything Else” and Coolidge called him “Wonder-boy.”

After the combined Harding-Coolidge administration ended in 1928, Hoover again ran for president. As soon as he was elected in 1928, he set about making the government much bigger. His biggest moves began right after his inauguration and including implementing a wide series of farm programs and a much-criticized huge tariff increase.   A self-described “Progressive” and “Reformer,” Hoover saw the presidency as a vehicle for improving the conditions of all Americans by regulation and by getting government involved encouraging of volunteerism. Long before entering politics, he had denounced laissez-faire thinking.  As Commerce Secretary, he had taken an active pro-regulation stance. As President, he helped push expensive and interventionist tariff and farm subsidy bills through Congress. Hoover also increased taxes and increased the federal budget 50% (for comparison Barack Obama so far has only increased the budget 41%). It’s obvious that the real Hoover was nothing like the do-nothing Hoover that Progressive historians have insisted he was.

Just as they did back then, the left (the progressives of today’s  Democratic Party) is now seeking to blame the current economic crisis on a conspiracy that is an inversion of the actual facts. By the way, back in 1932 FDR and his first VP-to-be called Hoover a “socialist” and promised to use Harding’s methods to regain prosperity . . . that is FDR promised to pay down debt; slash taxes; and slash government spending. Instead he actually raised the budget 100% above Hoover’s last budget; confiscated the nation’s gold and in other ways undermined the recovery so badly that only the nation’s entry into World War II nine years later got us out of the depression.

Most Americans have no idea about the facts you’ve just read and their opinions about government’s ability to create jobs in the private sector by increased spending are largely based upon the “Savior myth” of FDR as the man who heroically saved us from the Great Depression.

When it comes to today’s problems and today’s myths the infamous Obama-car-in-the-ditch myth (blaming all our woes on conservatives and the free markets) tops them all.   The truth, however, is:

George W. Bush saw that ACORN, the progressives, big spenders, and Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were deliberately pushing the car (our economy) toward a 500-foot cliff. He jumped into the front seat, grabbed the steering wheel and slammed on the brakes . . . guiding it into the nearest friendly ditch.

To prove this surprising assertion for yourself: you’ll need a little education:

That our current president was an ACORN lawyer and community organizer deliberately bankrupting our country as part of Cloward-Piven Strategy using Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77) who has the gall to repeatedly tell the car-in-the-ditch story is one of the most shocking hypocrisies imaginable.

The fact that Frances Fox Piven is today still openly calling for bloody revolution and urging the poor and unemployed to “use their anger” and begin the Marxist “revolution” while the lame-stream, mainstream media is accusing the TEA Party of hate-mongering and ignoring Piven is the greatest possible journalistic malfeasance.

The fact that George W. Bush’s administration recognized the problem as early as January, 2005 and sought to repeal the horrific CRA ’77 laws but the vote was defeated. And that Bush made at least 19 separate speeches on the matter and continued to strive for elimination of CRA ’77 right up until finally in July, 2007 (30 months later) when a much weaker law was passed has not been allowed as part of the history of the meltdown even though Obama’s Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner in August, 2010 credited Bush with preventing an absolute collapse of our financial system and with preventing total disintegration of the housing market again reflects poorly on the so-called journalistic “profession.” The “watchdogs of the Republic” have turned on us . . . this is the biggest story of the last half of the 20th and of the first decade of the 21st Century and naturally, it’ll never be reported by the present generation of mainstream journalists . . . .

THE TEA PARTY IS HERE TO STAY

In elementary school, our teacher screened a little known Cary Grant film "The Howards of Virginia". Now you might ask, why would a teacher be showing a Cary Grant film during school hours? Well, we were studying American Colonialism (you know, Obama's favorite 'hate America' topic), back in the day when American History was still taught in schools with great detail. It was a film [and subject] I never forgot, and still hold near to my heart today.

THE TEA PARTY IS HERE TO STAY

But there is still hope for our country: the Tea Party http://bit.ly/aFsWXd

“What you THINK you know but you don’t really know about the realities of history makes you a sucker for whatever B.S. the Progressives want to throw your way in order to control you, your vote and your emotions. Current Political Correctness is
Today’s Progressive Determinant

of Historical Truth
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_revisionism_(political)
In one of the more prophetic novels of all time, a fellow named Winston Smith works for his government’s Ministry of Truth performing historical alterations to quickly and cleverly brainwash his fellow citizens into aligning their ever-shifting knowledge of the nation’s history with current reality and government desiderata. Winston Smith is the protagonist charged with adjusting history so that seamless historical revisionism seems both natural and obvious to the citizenry as one Big Lie after another becomes reality.
Unfortunately, George Orwell named his novel 1984 instead of 2010 or even 2084 so today its lessons are considered passe rather than avant garde. Nevertheless today Progressivism (the notion that “we must ‘progress’ beyond the outdated and severely-flawed U.S. Constitution”) owns as its chief tools propaganda (particularly the Big lie) and historical revisionism. The fact that 98% of Americans don’t see it for what it really is, is because ‘NOT knowing history, they are doomed to repeat it.” Let’s give a few examples of historical revisionism** to start the ball of understanding rolling . . . you don't mind playing Sherlock Holmes for a bit, do you?
Have you heard any of the following terms used to demonize anyone recently? “Redneck?” “Nazi?” “Fascist?” “Eugenics” or ever heard disparagement about Warren G. Harding? Herbert Hoover was a conservative, right? Or been told that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was one of our greatest presidents? Recently a lady in high places lumped Chairman Mao and Mother Teresa together. Certainly we’ve seen Mao and Che T-shirts worn all across the nation . . . what’s going on, how are all these issues related? We’re talking about historical revisionism, friends . . . .
What is a redneck in some minds today is quite different from what a redneck originally was. The original “rednecks” were gun-toting union men trying to seize control of mining operations from the owners and bosses. They wore red bandannas around their necks as a tactical edge so that they wouldn’t have to hesitate before pulling the trigger knowing instantly that they were NOT aiming for one of their own if they gunned down someone without a red bandanna. The Battle of Blair Mountain was, next to the Civil War, the largest insurrection in the history of the country. It’s not taught in our schools today or if it is taught the history somehow comes down real hard on the owners and management and overlooks the miners’ transgressions . . . kind of how our Civil War was often called “The War of Northern Aggression” in many southern schools right up to 1964. Revisionism, regardless of who's doing it (ultra-conservative or ultra-leftist) is just plain EVIL. Because the Progessives have controlled the telling of American history since Woodrow Wilson wrote his version of it a hundred years ago, what you THINK you know but you don’t really know about the realities of history makes you a sucker for whatever B.S. the Progressives want to throw your way in order to control you and your vote and your emotions. You are literally ‘Homer Simpson’ in their eyes and they control you just about as easy as Homer would be controlled . . . .
The Nazis, of course were the National Socialists Workers’ Party and in case the words “Socialists” and “Workers” didn’t clue you they were definitely NOT right wing or conservative in any way. Nazi literature declared quite proudly “We are neither capitalists nor communists, but something better.” So the evils of Nazism were left-wing results sprung from a left-wing beginning. Only after Hitler was Chancellor (nine years after he wrote Mein Kampf) did the corporations start to come his way. But from the start their goals as listed in campaign literature was virtually identical with both that of today's CPUSA (Communist Party USA) and of Barack Obama. The antipathy of the Nazis for the Communists in Germany was infighting among leftists, but testimony was that once the Reds found out about the power of the Nazis they were life-time committed converts.
Fascism? The left would have you believe that the corporations took over the government and that certainly sounds like right-wing fanatics on steroids, doesn’t it? The truth? Fascism was, however, begun in Italy when the labor unions got so strong that the workers took over the corporations often killing or injuring management and owners in the process. Then they elected their favorite Fascist, Benito Mussolini, to lead the country. In Spain, the losers were the Church, royalty and the businessmen . . . that is, the Conservatives were the defeated army^^ in the Spanish Civil War. Franco and his victorious Spanish Fascists were supported by both Nazi Germany and by Italy with arms, technology and money. Italy, Germany and Spain were three countries with strictly left-wing radical socialist agendas that all became dictatorships. All of these governments were disasters for their national history; two of them were disasters for the world.
Eugenics? This was the original progressive brainstorm. If we just kept the deficient from breeding, the world would be a better place and the Utopia that the workers of the world deserve would come all the sooner. Margaret Sanger is today considered a hero for her “birth-control” movement but one of her main emphasis was on preventing Blacks and Puerto Ricans from reproducing themselves. Famous British socialists like George Bernard Shaw, Bertrand Russell, George Edward Moore and John Maynard Keynes were all eugenicism aficionados. Our first two progressive Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt were also big fans of eugenics and Wilson was also so openly anti-Black that its incredible today that the man is considered one of our greatest presidents courtesy of being the creator of the science of propaganda and of some remarkable historical revisionism done in his behalf by progressives over the last 90 years.
Warren G. Harding was a victim of a line of lies that would make even Central Florida Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson blush. Harding died in office. His vice-president Calvin Coolidge replaced him and they were probably the most solid chief executives economy-wise the nation has ever known. The disastrous policies of progressive President Woodrow Wilson left the country in a depression which Harding inherited in March, 1921, when he was inaugurated. Harding ignored the advice of his commerce secretary Herbert Hoover to interfere on a grand scale and did three major things: 1) he cut both taxes and 2) government spending by nearly 50% and 3) he paid down the national debt by 30%. Before his death, in 1923, the country was already turned around. However, rather than being a hero for stopping the “Invisible Depression,” Harding is considered one of our worst presidents. So pervasive is the progressive lie about Harding that even the author of the best-selling book Blink proves himself a hypocrite, refusing to follow his own good advice and instead mentions Harding in a highly disparaging way.
Besides not getting credit, the lies about Harding’s involvement in the Tea Pot Dome scandal were spread by progressive historians who lumped the one guilty member of Harding’s cabinet with all of Harding’s administration. Calvin Coolidge took over and continued the policies of Harding and gave the United States the most productive decade in our history (the Roaring Twenties). When Silent Cal said, “I do not choose to run,” Herbert Hoover a progressive Republican interfered with everything good that was going on in particular raising tariffs sky high as well as increasing taxes, increasing spending and deficits. The stock market crash led into a recession and everything Hoover did made it worse. Where Harding would have cut taxes, cut spending and paid down the debt, Hoover did the opposite.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his vice-president Nance ran promising to cut taxes, pay down the debt and rollback the spending which really resonated with the voters since they’d already seen that it worked wonders. He and Nance called Hoover “a socialist” and criticized all his government interference. However, when FDR was elected he continued virtually all of Hoover’s initiatives and then created 40 separate new government agencies (the “New Deal” named after his progressive uncle Teddy’s “Square Deal”) the most massive U.S. government build-up to that point in history. Of course between Hoover and FDR they made an ordinary market panic into not just Hoover’s depression but a twelve and a half year Great Depression. By the way, just one new law this year, Obamacare, created 388 brand new government agencies or offices: roughly ten times the perverted output of FDR’s entire 12+ years in office.
How can Che and Mao be worthy of T-shirt status? The 122 million victims of communism in the 20th Century have apparently all been swept under the rug? How can socialism be seen as good? That’s historical revisionism for you! And what’s the Big Lie that the Progressives have sold America most recently? See if any of this sounds familiar . . . “It’s Bush’s fault. The huge hole the economy slipped into was created by Wall Street, the conservatives, the greedy corporations and their insistence on no-regulation of the free market.” Do you believe those lies? Do you believe that ‘They’ drove the car into the ditch and now when we’ve almost got it back on the road again, ‘they’ want us to give them the keys back again . . . ? Or do you believe the truth, which is . . . .
Using the same Cloward-Piven** strategy (that DELIBERATELY created the bankruptcy of New York City earlier between 1967 and 1975 by a planned overloading of the welfare rolls) . . . beginning especially after 1992, ACORN, OBAMA, First ACORN PRESIDENT Bill Clinton, and oodles of progressives (94% of them Democrats) DELIBERATELY were pushing the car toward a 500-foot cliff. George W. Bush jumped in and grabbed the steering wheel and hit the brakes. Bush was able to create a controlled-skid and guide the car to rest in a friendly-looking ditch!
If you don’t KNOW that truth, you have been brainwashed by the progressives. Here’s the antidote for you to reclaim your brain.

That’s the easy way (the link above) or you might want to do some research . . . .
1. Find out who Saul Alinsky was.
2. Find out who his most successful students Richard Cloward and Frances Piven are.
3. Find out who George Wiley was.
4. Find out what “Cloward-Piven Strategy” is.
5. Find out who created the National Welfare Rights Organization, when it was created, how it used Alinsky tactics and how it bankrupted New York City in 1975 and NYC had to be bailed out by the federal government.
6. What was the goal of Wiley, Piven and Cloward (stated in the famous article that’s come to be known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy)?
7. After 1975, Cloward and Piven said that the next areas for Alinsky tactics and C-P strategy were voter registration and housing. What Wiley lieutenant running NWRO in Arkansas since 1970 created ACORN? What did the “A” in ACORN originally stand for? Who did ACORN help win and keep a governorship for 12 of the next 14 years?
8. What is CRA’ 77? Was it needed?
9. Who expanded CRA ’77 three times and provided regulatory teeth to CRA ’77 when he was president?
10.Who got the Motor Voter Act passed?
Well that’s the first of about 40 questions that the Progressives have hidden from you that result in the TRUE statement that:
Using the same Cloward-Piven** strategy (that DELIBERATELY created the bankruptcy of New York City earlier between 1967 and 1975 by a planned overloading of the welfare rolls) . . . beginning especially after 1992, ACORN, OBAMA, First ACORN PRESIDENT Bill Clinton, and oodles of progressives (94% of them Democrats) DELIBERATELY were pushing the car toward a 500-foot cliff. Of course, if you went to: http://rajjpuutsfolly.blogtownhall.com/2010/09/10/will_real_dems_admit_truth,_throw_out_progressive_traitors.thtml
you’d actually know and appreciate why it’s true and you’d really understand what historical revisionism is all about! And now you know why it’s so important for Progressives to control our children’s textbooks and for, from their perspective, teachers to be members of unions . . . .

** historical revisionism is also called “negationism” and is outlawed in some countries, but not here

^^ In the movie The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, this fact was one of two zingers that Miss Jean Brodie received from her protege (who stole her teacher's lover and later informed her that the ultra-controlling Brodie had sent an ignorant young man to his death in Spain fighting for the WRONG side!)

Rajjpuut wishes Glen Beck all the most Scintillating of Successes and Good Feeling at the Lincoln Memorial on August 28; and Success to all the Freedom Movements such as the 9/12 Project and the TEA Party movement, we remind you that Glen is wrong when he says that history repeats itself . . . it doesn't, as Mark Twain said, "History does NOT repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes a lot!"

Ya'all live long, strong and ornery,

p.s. Just heard that the recent firebombing of a Missouri Progressive Democrat's campaign office blamed by the media on the St. Louis area TEA Party has seen an arrest, of a disgruntled long-time progressive activist (for not getting his check) employed by the office bombed; and that the man had been sabotage-blogging on a TEA Party site recently. The suspect Chris Powers has reportedly confessed his actions and has also been implicated in "astroturf protest" during an Obama visit to Missouri where he pretended to be a racist TEA Party member.

I'm sure the Left is thinking "firebombing the Reichstag worked for our National SOCIALIST buddy Adolf back in 1932, so it should work for us. Representative Russ Carnahan, whose office was bombed and who declared to the press (and was, of course, duly quoted) originally said "It was most likely a domestic terror crime by some right-wing racist." In the media it was printed and broadcast that "some violent TEA Party member probably did this. There's a lot of hate out there." Since the arrest,Carnahan and his staff have reportedly quieted down and purportedly, they are unwilling to proceed with charges against their former employee, think the "correction" will make the mainstream media (MSM)??? Since this is a federal crime, Rajjpuut hopes that the bomber Chris Powers is prosecuted by the FBI to the full extent of the law and that if this sick fellow needs it, he gets the treatment required. Whatever happened to the once great St. Louis Post Dispatch? Proud Missouri U. was once known as the "journalism capital of the nation" back in "better times."

Timing is everything. I say this being a reformed lib, raised in a family of thespians, studying "make believe" with the hopes of following in their footsteps, but eventually becoming a very young mother and raising a child in the 1960's, no less. Liberalism was doomed, as the last leftist I ever voted for was Jimmy Carter -- God help me! But, my upbringing did give me a certain perspective into the mind of far left radicals (which my parents were not), especially in the entertainment field.
