Nationally, shoplifting incidents that end in violence have been climbing at a steady rate. In the National Retail Federation's 2013 survey, retailers said about 18 percent of apprehensions led to some level of violence, up from about 15 percent the previous year and 13 percent in 2011.

Shoplifting is as prevalent as ever.

It also is becoming more brazen.

Two women stuff their purses full of items from an Old Navy store and shove security officers out of the way as they escape.

Five men rush into Saks Fifth Avenue, snatch dozens of high-end handbags and flee to their getaway car parked just outside the door.

And in an incident that stunned an Eastside neighborhood, a man trying to steal armfuls of items from a clothing store fatally shoots in the head a man who tried to stop him.

What once seemed a petty crime has escalated into either an enterprise by organized criminals or, at worst, a potential flash point for violence.

Or both.

Authorities attribute much of the increase in such brash and violent shoplifting to organized retail crime, groups of people who steal large volumes of merchandise not for themselves but to sell.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has released crime rates for the 2012 year. Stephens County had 35.23 percent crime rate for every 1,000 people.

Stephens County had 984 cases of larceny, 418 instances of breaking and entering and 97 felonious assaults.

Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney said that while the crime rate increased between 2011-2012, they are doing everything in their power to combat it.

“We’ve seen an increase across the board,” McKinney said. “We’ve done a good job cleaning things up. (The) criminals we’re dealing with now are a different breed: they’re under the age of 21. We are doing what we can with the staffing we have. It’s just something that all counties are dealing with. It’s difficult when you only have a couple of guys for each shift.”

In Duncan, robberies, felonious assault, breaking and entering and larceny saw dramatic increases betwen 2011-2012. There were nine more robberies, 28 more felonious assaults, 55 more instances of breaking and entering and 161 more cases of larceny than in 2011.         

“In 2011 and 2012, we had several armed robberies of convenience stores,” Duncan Police Chief Daniel Ford said. “That one group of incidents raised the number quite a bit. We’re doing all we can.”

Bicycles are hot items nationwide:

Spring is finally here and with that, comes the start of riding season. As cyclists dust off their bikes for the first ride of the season, they should be sure to grab all of their gear – including a good quality bike lock. Bicycle theft is an unfortunate occurrence and an increasing trend these past few years, and cyclists from the US are no exception.

According to the latest FBI Uniform Crime Report, from 2007 to 2011, bicycle theft in the United States rose (on average) 14% each year. On average, over 188,500 bicycle thefts are reported stolen each year in the United States, a statistic that in itself is staggering when one also considers the number of bicycle thefts that go unreported. Some US cities are starting to fight back against bicycle theft. In San Francisco, the city issued its first ever official look at the bike theft problem in 2013 and issued a goal to reduce bicycle theft in the city by at least 50% over the next 5 years. The city also created a bike registry to help combat the 70% rise in bicycle thefts since 2006. In both Los Angeles and San Diego, law enforcement is starting to fight back against bike theft by placing bikes with hidden GPS technology around the city and beach areas in hopes of catching a bike thief. In Boston, MBTA Transit Police created two-life sized cardboard cutouts of police offers and placed them in two busy bike rack cages at Alewife Station to help prevent theft.

“It’s amazing how easily a bike can be stolen,” says Audrey Hanken, President of Markel Personal Lines Insurance. “We hear stories about bicycles being stolen from locked bike racks, cars, or even directly outside of their homes. We have also heard about thieves targeting hotels during bicycle road races, looking for opportunities to grab expensive bikes and run.”

What to do about the alleged unconstitutional and unlawful actions of President Barack Obama?

Some have proposed marches. Others hearings. Some have demanded the president’s resignation. Some have called for impeachment, even though a Democrat-controlled Senate would be unlikely to oust their party’s leader.

Polls show Americans of all parties are upset with the direction of the country, but what can they actually do to make a difference?

Retired Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, as chairman of Stand Up America, has been at the forefront of many of these rallying cries, encouraging Americans to take action in a number of ways.

But now the former deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army in the Pacific has settled upon a battle plan he believes could actually work: a House-led, parliamentary style vote of “no confidence” in Obama’s administration.

“I have already achieved a level of ‘no confidence’ in Obama as a leader, but now I urge you to examine this concept,” Vallely wrote in an email to supporters obtained by WND. “If you agree with me that all confidence is lost, I urge you to then ask yourself what is in the realm of the possible. I implore you to push aside the urge to try and fix everything in one fell swoop.

“Now is the time for something a dear friend calls ‘conviction without eviction,’ an end that can be brought on through a vote of no confidence, locally, statewide and nationally,” Vallely claims. “This is just a first step in what can only be repaired over time, but it is achievable in the short term and starts to remove Obama’s ability to continue his ruinous ways now.”

In a blog post on the battle plan posted Dec. 15, the general explained he already has a man on the ground in Washington working to make it happen.

Vallely quotes “a prominent Washington, D.C., insider with whom Stand Up America is coordinating –and who prefers to remain under the radar for the moment while conferring with potential House co-sponsors on both the basic rationale and the detailed content of such a House Resolution of no confidence” as offering the following justification for this novel course of action:

“First, in most of the world’s so-called ‘democracies’ – actually, multi-party constitutional republics – a formal vote of ‘no confidence’ by the Lower House suspends or greatly limits the governing authority of the party in power and, in a ‘recall’ of sorts, mandates new elections within 30-60 days,” the insider reportedly reasons. “Although we have no such instrument in our Constitution or in existing law, there is nothing to prevent its use as a comprehensive de facto indictment and conviction for contempt of Congress, violations of oath of office and of the Constitution itself – for all of the reasons stated in such a resolution.

“Second,” he reasons, “it would be much easier to cosponsor [than impeachment articles], to be formally adopted by the House and to achieve what might be called Obama’s ‘conviction without eviction’ – in which wholesale repudiation by the House, loss of control of the Senate and a substantial diminution of power and influence during his remaining time in office would be the penalties.

“We know there is no legal standing in a vote of ‘no confidence’ that would come of this act, but at least one thing will certainly occur: We take back the power of discourse,” the insider contends. “What do we do? We conduct a national ‘vote of no confidence.’”

“We cannot possibly believe that impeachment is attainable, and we know he will never resign,” Vallely adds, “but at least we can show other leaders the way; show our collective voices that we have no confidence in [Obama].”

Vellely contends the vote also would defuse some of the partisan finger-pointing that infects not only D.C. but the entire country.

“You are not calling anyone names, or labeling others. You are not trying to encapsulate each and every event,” he explains. “Rather, what you are doing is telling the world that ‘I have no confidence in him or his team anymore.’ They cannot take that away from you or attack you for it.

“A vote of ‘no confidence,’ albeit symbolic, at least focuses the discussion on something you can own as I own. This ownership is in your opinion; one based in fact and close analysis, not in emotion, ‘talking points’ or ulterior motives,” Vallely continued. “If asked or challenged tomorrow by his supporters that my lack of confidence is a political ploy, I will say, ‘No, I own my conclusions, I own my opinions and I have a deep sense of no confidence in Obama.’

“The House of Representatives must follow our lead and take up a resolution of no confidence,” the general contends.

Vallely’s calls to action have been immensely popular among tea party organizations that are seeking a way to restore the rule of law to Washington.

Among other examples they cite as evidence of disregard for law and the Constitution are the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, and the 15 or more times Obama has changed the law – without consulting Congress.

“What else is our nation to do now that the rule of law has effectively been thrown out the window by the Obama administration?” Vallely asks. “How are we to trust our government anymore, now that lying and fraud are acceptable practices?”

Vallely listed a sampling of Obama’s broken promises and lies, crediting Peter Wehner at Commentary Magazine:

1. His promise not to allow lobbyists to work in his administration. (They have.)
2. His commitment to slash earmarks. (He didn’t.)
3. To be the most transparent presidency in history. (He’s not.)
4. To put an end to “phony accounting.” (It started almost on Day 1 and continues.)
5. And to restore trust in government. (Trust in government is at near-historic lows.)
6. His pledge to seek public financing in the general election. (He didn’t.)
7. To treat super-PACS as a “threat to democracy.” (He embraced them.)
8. His pledge to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent. (It remained above 8 percent for the longest stretch since the Great Depression.)
9. To create five million new energy jobs alone. (The total number of jobs created in Obama’s first term was roughly one-tenth that figure.)
10. To identify all those “shovel-ready’ jobs. (Mr. Obama later chuckled that his much-hyped “shovel-ready projects” were “not as shovel-ready as we expected.”)
11. To lift two million Americans from poverty. (A record 46 million Americans are living in poverty during the Obama era.)
12. His promise to bring down health care premiums by $2,500 for the typical family (they went up) … allow Americans to keep the health care coverage they currently have (many can’t) … refuse to fund abortion via the Affordable Care Act (it did) … to respect religious liberties (he has violated them) … and the insistent that a mandate to buy insurance, enforced by financial penalties, was not a tax (it is).
13. Obama’s pledge to stop the rise of oceans. (It hasn’t.)
14. To “remake the world” and to “heal the planet.” (Hardly.)
15. To usher in a “new beginning” based on “mutual respect” with the Arab and Islamic world and “help answer the call for a new dawn in the Middle East.” (Come again?)
16. To punish Syria if it crossed the “red line” of using chemical weapons. (The “red line” was crossed earlier this year – and nothing of consequence happened.)
17. That as president “I don’t bluff.” (See the previous sentence on Syria.)
18. And of course the much-ballyhooed Russian reset. (Tensions between Russia and the United States are increasing and examples of Russia undermining U.S. interests are multiplying.)
19. And let’s not forget Mr. Obama’s promise to bring us together. (He is the most polarizing president in the history of the Gallup polling.)
20. Or his assurance to us that he would put an end to the type of politics that “breeds division and conflict and cynicism.” (All three have increased during the Obama presidency.)
21. And his counsel to us to “resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long.” (Remind me again whose campaign allies accused Mitt Romney of being responsible for the cancer death of a steelworker’s wife.)

“It is time to recall the reprobates and reclaim the power of the people,” Vallely said. “We need to start with the White House and all of Obama’s appointees, especially Eric Holder. … Then on to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi – the architects who shoved Obamacare down our throats. We also cannot forget John Boehner and company who openly castigate the tea-party caucus, which are only doing that which they campaigned upon.”

Congress already is addressing charges that Obama is violating the Constitution.

WND reported when Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said Obama’s actions have reached “an unprecedented level, and we’ve got to do something about it.

“Assume that a statute said you had to provide two forms of ID to vote. Can the president require three forms? Can the president require one form? Can you suspend all requirements? If not, why not?” he said. “If you can turn off certain categories of law, do you not also have the power to turn off all categories of law?”

Gowdy cited Obama’s decisions to ignore certain immigration laws, even though Congress did not approve the changes. He also cited arbitrary changes to the Obamacare law and Obama’s “recess appointments” of judges even though the U.S. Senate was not in recess.

His proposal is for Congress to take the White House to court over the president’s actions, through a resolution proposed by Rep. Tom Rice, R-Ga., that would authorize the House to sue the Obama administration. It has 30 co-sponsors.

Rice said that because of “this disregard of our country’s checks and balances, many of you have asked me to bring legal action against the president.”

“After carefully researching the standing the House of Representatives has and what action we can take, I have introduced a resolution to stop the president’s clear overreach,” he said.

A Fox News interviewer asked Gowdy if Obama could refuse to enforce election laws.

“Why not?” asked Gowdy, “If you can turn off immigration laws, if you can turn off the mandatory minimum in our drug statutes, if you can turn off the so-called Affordable Care Act – why not election laws?”

Gowdy noted that a liberal law professor, Jonathan Turley, agrees.

WND reported Turley’s concerns in December.

Turley has represented members of Congress in a lawsuit over the Libyan war, represented workers at the secret Area 51 military base and served as counsel on national security cases. He now says Obama is a danger to the U.S. Constitution.

He was addressing a House Judiciary Committee hearing Dec. 4. Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., asked him: “Professor Turley, the Constitution, the system of separated powers is not simply about stopping one branch of government from usurping another. It’s about protecting the liberty of Americans from the dangers of concentrated government power. How does the president’s unilateral modification of act[s] of Congress affect both the balance of power between the political branches and the liberty interests of the American people?”

Turley replied: “Thank you, Mr. Chairman. The danger is quite severe. The problem with what the president is doing is that he’s not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system. He’s becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid. That is the concentration of power.”

Turley explained that the “Newtonian orbit that the three branches exist in is a delicate one but it is designed to prevent this type of concentration.”

“There are two trends going on which should be of equal concern to all members of Congress,” he said. “One is that we have had the radical expansion of presidential powers under both President Bush and President Obama. We have what many once called an imperial presidency model of largely unchecked authority. And with that trend we also have the continued rise of this fourth branch. We have agencies that are quite large that issue regulations. The Supreme Court said recently that agencies could actually define their own or interpret their own jurisdiction.”

Turley was appointed in 1998 to the prestigious Shapiro Chair for Public Interest at Georgetown. He has handled a wide range of precedent-setting and headline-making cases, including the successful defense of Petty Officer Daniel King, who faced the death penalty for alleged spying for Russia.

Turley also has served as the legal expert in the review of polygamy laws in the British Columbia Supreme Court. He’s been a consultant on homeland security, and his articles appear regularly in national publications such as the New York Times and USA Today.

WND reported that it was at the same hearing that Michael Cannon, director of Health Policy Studies for the Cato Institute, said there is “one last thing to which the people can resort if the government does not respect the restraints that the Constitution places of the government.”

“Abraham Lincoln talked about our right to alter our government or our revolutionary right to overthrow it,” he said.

“That is certainly something that no one wants to contemplate. If the people come to believe that the government is no longer constrained by the laws, then they will conclude that neither are they.”

Cannon said it is “very dangerous” for the president to “wantonly ignore the laws, to try to impose obligations upon people that the legislature did not approve.”

Several members of Congress also contributed their opinions in an interview with talk-show host Sean Hannity.

Vallely explained that a “no confidence” vote now “would also tell the world that we recognize the mess this administration has wrought upon the world and we do not support his actions. Despite what supporters of Obama say about our standing in the world, the world is laughing at us. We are not pleased!”

Without that action, he writes, “Obama will just continue to subvert the Constitution he took an oath to faithfully protect.”

Citizens won’t leave Washington until change is made

(Tea Party) – Veterans, truckers and bikers all rallied in DC, taking a stand to restore America but after they departed the Washington establishment continued running the nation amok. According to one man he hopes an mass rally in the works for this spring will be different.

Retired US Army Col. Harry G. Riley, who runs the Patriots for America website, doesn’t have an organized sponsor for the rally. Instead, he’s calling on individual Americans. He wants them to assemble and demand America be restored to her former glory.

Riley has pledged that they will not leave Washington until they see change.

“One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office,” explained Riley in an email regarding his plan.

Riley continued:

“The senior Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives will become Speaker of the House and the U.S. House of Representatives will elect a temporary president and vice president of the United States. The U.S. Senate will take action to elect a new majority and minority leader.”

“As required, the U.S. Congress will execute appropriate legislation to convene new elections or U.S. states will appoint replacements for positions vacated consistent with established constitutional requirements.”

With more than 34 years in the US military and multiple tours of duty worldwide, Riley received numerous honors and medals including the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal among other honors.

Having been successful in a variety of efforts, including the 2007 Gathering of Eagles, Riley has not gone without his share of attacks from the left.

Of the upcoming spring march, Riley says:

“There is not much time and the only planning necessary is to select a starting date, which we have done, and then show up in Washington, D.C., on that date, and plan to stay for the duration. The goal is restoring the U.S. Constitution as the law of the land, removing the lawless leadership.”

“Will this be a cake-walk? No, it will be painful, and some people may die because the government will not be non-violent; some of us will end up in a cell, and some may be injured. If that’s what it will take to save our nation, do we have any choice? Freedom loving Americans will say there is no choice, we must begin the second American Revolution. Not with guns, but with millions of Americans demanding a return to constitutional government and the resignation of Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Holder as a start…then the constitutional restoration process can begin.”

Riley is urging “all organizations, groups, particularly veterans and military retirees, [to] begin planning to visit Washington, D.C., beginning May 16, 2014.”

Another military leaders, Retired Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely has also called on millions of Americans to “stand up” to a government that is “conducting treason … violating the Constitution, violating our laws.”

Vallely is also calling on Americans to march, urging a legislative “no confidence” vote in President Obama as well as Congress in addition to citizen arrests.  It was the 33 million Egyptians who rose up against their government and removed Muslim Brotherhood officials from office that gave him the inspiration.

Vallely claims that his call for a new American uprising struck a note with millions of modern tea partiers—those looking for unifying leadership.

It’s been all over Facebook, a number of websites, radio shows calling me for interviews,” Vallely said. “And the response I’ve received has been 99-percent positive.”

“I think the biggest thing is that someone is finally standing up to lead.” “We need someone to lead; we need a new George Washington,” said Vallely.

Riley expanded on his philosophy:

“Similar to our Founding Fathers, citizens and patriots in America now find themselves increasingly denied freedom and liberty from a government leadership (A new crown) that is focused on self-serving, power hungry, deception, and betrayal motivations…the ultimate goal of U.S. Constitutional destruction,” he writes. “While our Founding Fathers endured pain and suffering from the British Crown, there came a time when they declared ‘enough is enough.’ Thus, the Declaration of Independence was drafted. We should read our Declaration of Independence and note the grievances that led to the decision of ‘independence or death.’ America is under the heel of a new ‘crown,’ enduring grievances of which are not far removed from conditions our Founding Fathers experienced. The Founders moved to action. Now is the time for American patriots to move to action.”

“Underlying the plan is the invitation to “patriots” to help restore the constitutional government, rule of law, freedom and liberty” from what is described as a “despotic and tyrannical federal leadership.”

Step one is for millions of Americans to assemble peaceably and physically unarmed, showing their loyalty to the US Constitution.  The next step is for a large number of those who assemble to stay in Washington until changes that are “consistent with the Constitution” are made.

Riley said he’s never seen so much interest in such a move. “This has to be done,” he said.

“We are past the point of no return, thus must move forward with an effort to save our nation, as there is no other choice. We are asking, pleading with you, and any others that have resources, national voices, email lists, blogs, FB, Twitter, to call for a non-violent American Spring May 16, 2014, in Washington D.C. We must appeal to ten million and more American patriots to come and stay in Washington, D.C., to stop the White House and Congress from total destruction of the United States. It’s now or never. God help us.”

He went on to say, “The Congress and the administration are just totally oblivious to the American people. They go their own way. The administration makes its own laws. They have their own Congress in the president’s staff.”

Riley’s inspiration was Georgetown University’s Jonathan Turley and his recent Congressional testimony. Turley represented members of Congress in a lawsuit over the Libyan war as well as workers at the top-secret Area 51 military base. He’s also served at counsel on national security cases. Vallely is a huge favorite among the tea party organizations seeking to bring Rule of Law back to Washington. The tea party has cited Obamacare and the more than 15 times that Obama has changed the law without Congressional involvement.

Vallely sees a vote of “no confidence” as the solution.

The founder of Stand Up America, an organization dedicated to providing education resources based on the values of the Founding Fathers said: “Clearly America has lost confidence and no longer trusts those in power at a most critical time in our history. … It is true that not all who ply the halls of power fit under that broad brush, but most of them are guilty of many egregious acts, and we say it is time to hold a vote of no confidence. It’s time for a ‘recall.’”

Cannon continued, saying it is “very dangerous” for President Obama to “wantonly ignore the laws, to try to impose obligations upon people that the legislature did not approve.”

Larry Klayman, former Reagan Justice Department lawyer, hopes that November 19^th will rank with the 4^th of July someday. Klayman called the day the start of “The Second American Revolution.”  November 19^th was the day that Klayman organized a rally by “The Reclaim America Now” coalition at Lafayette Park across from the White House.

The “Reclaim America Now” coalition is composed of approximately three dozen conservative groups, including Freedom Watch, Gun Owners of America, Tea Party Patriots, 2 Million Bikers to D.C., Jihad Watch, and the Western Center for Journalism among others.

Two hundred or so people gathered at the rally where speakers called for two things: The renewal of America and the resignation of Obama.

Klayman accused Obama of tyranny while calling for peaceful change, declaring: “We the People have had enough of the corrupt and incompetent ways of the Obama administration and its bipartisan political enablers. It is time for action, not words.”

It is the hope of Riley, Vallely and many others that this coming May 16^th will bring millions upon millions of Americans to DC for an American revolution that will change the course of history back to the one our Founding Fathers envisioned.

I read the news today, oh boy.

The world lacks American leadership. It lacks the sense that America will take action to defend its interests. That America is decisive. That America is dangerous.

We are not respected, and it shows. Because when we go completely to sleep, the jackals come out to hunt at night. Keep your children close. Soon they’ll be hunting us.

I believe the bar should be high for U.S. intervention in these barbaric lands. But I do not believe the United States can remove itself from the world. Because if we think the barbarism won’t end up here, we are deceiving ourselves.

We don’t have to put boots on the ground in most cases. But we do have to show resolve and a willingness to act. Bullies will rarely fight you when you stand up to them.

In Iraq, which was relatively stable until Obama completely abandoned it militarily, Al Qaeda is on the march, fighting for control of major cities. The blood of our servicemen and women was spilled there at least partially in vain.

Speaking of the blood of our service members, Afghanistan is preparing to release hundreds of prisoners from Bagram prison – which we’ve turned over to Karzai – many of whom have been involved in attacks against our troops. The Taliban will soon be back in control of that place anyway as the United States exits without having finished the job.

Syria, where we once could have made a meaningful difference, is in chaos, a magnet and a proving ground for al Qaeda rebels. Libya has become another dangerous haven for terrorists.

Egypt only stabilized, somewhat, when the military decided to ignore Obama and take matters into its own hands.

Iran will not be deterred, Obama has made clear, from maintaining a nuclear program. Since Iran doesn’t need a nuclear program, that by definition is a nuclear weapons program. Soon they will have the “breakout” capacity to build the bomb.

Meanwhile, Iran is providing Hezbollah with sophisticated, accurate new missiles it hopes will deter Israel from striking its nuclear facilities once Netanyahu finally gets that Obama isn’t going to.

China is asserting itself throughout East Asia. Our allies there wonder how serious we are about defending them. Obama’s decision to advise our airlines to comply with a recent seizure of airspace by the Chinese raises concerns.

South Sudan is disintegrating. Leftism is prevailing throughout South America. Russia is reasserting itself in the Middle East.

The jackals understand weakness. They prey on it. They see it in Obama. And Obama, like it or not, represents us.

Gates unloads on Obama!-Posted on The Hill-By Jeremy Herb and Kristina Wong-On January 7, 2014:

President Obama doubted his own troop-surge strategy in Afghanistan would work; Vice President Biden got nearly every security issue wrong for 40 years; and Hillary Clinton opposed President Bush’s Iraq surge to help her presidential bid. These are among the blockbuster allegations detonated Tuesday by former Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

Writing in a memoir due out next week, Gates says that Obama was “skeptical if not outright convinced” his Afghan surge would fail.

Gates also contends that Biden was wrong on “nearly every” major national security and foreign policy issue over the past four decades.

He says former Secretary of State Clinton opposed the surge in Iraq launched by President George W. Bush for political reasons, because it would have been difficult to support during a presidential primary battle in 2008 with then-Sen. Obama. The president himself “vaguely” conceded that his own opposition to the Iraq surge was based in politics, which Gates said he found both surprising and dismaying.

The revelations, included in the forthcoming Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, according to several reports based on early copies of the book, arrive as Obama comes under separate criticism from Capitol Hill Republicans that his administration should be doing more to arm and train an Iraqi military battling a resurgent al Qaeda.

Several GOP lawmakers took umbrage at Secretary of State John Kerry’s statement that the battle is now Iraq’s to fight, arguing the U.S. needs to do more after investing so much during the Iraq War.

“The president has failed miserably in explaining the threats we face, and Secretary Kerry was completely disappointing when he said this is an Iraqi problem,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Tuesday.

Combined, the criticisms were a one-two punch to an administration that has been focused on domestic policy in the new year.

While the administration faces tough decisions on what to do in Iraq, the criticism from Gates over Afghanistan stung more. Not only is it coming from a first-term insider trusted by Obama, it is on an issue closely tied to the president and his legacy.

The White House immediately rebuffed the searing criticism of Biden in a statement from National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden

“From his leadership on the Balkans in the Senate, to his efforts to end the war in Iraq, Joe Biden has been one of the leading statesmen of his time, and has helped advance America’s leadership in the world,” she said. “President Obama relies on his good counsel every day.”

On Afghanistan, Hayden said that differences within the administration had been widely reported over the years, “and it is well known that the president has been committed to achieving the mission of disrupting, dismantling and defeating al Qaeda, while also ensuring that we have a clear plan for winding down the war, which will end this year.”

“The president deeply appreciates Bob Gates’ service as Secretary of Defense and his life,” the statement continued. “As has always been the case, the president welcomes differences of view among his national security team, which broaden his options and enhance our policies.”

Obama opposed the war in Iraq and argued in his 2008 campaign that Bush should have been focused on Afghanistan. He backed a surge in the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan during his first year in office, and the administration is currently in the midst of negotiating a security agreement with the Afghans for a long-term U.S. presence.

Gates wrote that by early 2010, however, he had concluded that Obama “doesn’t believe in his own strategy, and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him, it’s all about getting out.”

“I never doubted Obama’s support for the troops, only his support for their mission,” Gates wrote, according to a report in the Washington Post.

In recent weeks, the White House has threatened to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan at the end of 2014, if Afghan President Hamid Karzai does not sign the bilateral security agreement. The administration wants to keep 8,000-10,000 troops in Afghanistan to train Afghan soldiers.

The “zero option” that is on the table in Afghanistan would follow the path U.S. forces took in Iraq, when the U.S. military withdrew completely in 2011, after Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki refused to grant U.S. troops immunity.

Republicans have seized on the Iraq withdrawal as reason to blame for the current violence in Iraq; al Qaeda affiliates retook Fallujah, one of the deadliest battlegrounds during the Iraq War.

“[Obama] oversold before 2012 election the actual state that al Qaeda was in, and now it’s clearly obvious to everyone they’re on the rise and not on the run,” Graham said.

But the White House has forcefully pushed back against those criticisms, all but daring Republicans to come out in support of putting U.S. troops back in Iraq.

“I don’t think I’ve heard members of Congress suggest this, but if members were suggesting that there should be American troops fighting and dying in Fallujah today, they should say so. The president doesn’t believe that,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday.

No Republicans have suggested U.S. troops should return to Iraq, but they argue Obama should have never allowed all U.S. forces to leave in 2011, which they say created a power vacuum.

“Because Obama wanted out, he got out,” said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), one of Obama’s most vocal foreign policy critics.

McCain said the U.S. needs to quickly ramp up its military support to the Iraqis.

“They need intelligence capabilities; they need more air capabilities; they need more planning capabilities, but most of all, they need Maliki [a Shia] to reach out to the Sunnis and try to have some kind of reconciliation,” McCain said.

“If we had stayed, there would have been that reconciliation. Instead, we left, and things went to hell in a hand basket, just as I predicted it would.”

Obama’s former ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, also said he disagreed with Kerry’s statement that al Qaeda’s reemergence in Iraq was “not our fight.”

“Given the importance of Iraq and given the association of the United States with Iraq, in particular Fallujah, this is our fight,” Jeffrey, who served as ambassador from 2010-2012, said in an interview with The Hill.

U.S. military leaders say the resurgence of al Qaeda groups in Iraq is a serious issue and has implications throughout the conflicts in the Middle East.

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond Odierno, who served as commanding general of U.S. and NATO forces in Iraq from 2008-2010, said it was important for the United States to continue working with the Iraqi army on counterinsurgency and to stay politically involved.

In a speech at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Odierno said this “was certainly not” the time to deploy U.S. troops to Iraq, but the U.S. had to “wait and see if it becomes part of our national security interest to put people on the ground.”

He said the events in Iraq are part of a larger development across the region, of a Sunni-Shiite struggle that’s also taking place in Syria and Lebanon, allowing al Qaeda and other non-state actors to exploit instability.

“The biggest threat to U.S. national security is that this ungoverned territory becomes areas where we have terrorist organizations become dominant and try to export their terrorism outside the Middle East,” Odierno said.

“Our entire government needs to be cleansed,” he said, while calling for massive deregulation.

Vallely also called for a massive shakeup in Congress, including the resignations of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Vallely first made the suggestion in a “National Call to Action” he wrote as chairman of Stand Up America.

According to the former deputy commanding general of the Pacific Command, the current crop of leaders must be forced to resign using the “demand resignation” process, which he said requires massive grass-roots protests and social networking.

As an example, WND reported, Vallely cited the public and media pressure that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon in the 1970s.

Impeachment, something that has been threatened many times, is not a viable option because of “partisan politics,” he added.

“Our federal government continues down the path of destroying America,” he added. “Americans must now stand up and put America back on the right track.”

WASHINGTON – After one of them called for the “forced resignations” of President Obama and congressional leaders in response to multiple grievances, including the alleged political purge of hundreds of senior military officers, two retired U.S. generals are creating a citizens’ commission to scrutinize Obama administration actions on national security and economic issues.
“America’s Provisional Leadership Council” will look at major concerns, as outlined by Army Gen. Paul E. Vallely and Air Force Brig. Gen. Charles Jones, in an eight-point paper titled “The Americans Project.”
Vallely told WND he sees The Americans Project as a “citizens’ commission” of prominent Americans to provide advice to legislative and executive branches of government.
America’s leaders, he said, will be “held to high standards of performance to solve the nation’s problems of governing. We will scrutinize and provide guidance to federally elected officials on behalf of the citizens.”
The Americans Project, Vallely added, is a “movement, not a new party necessarily. We want candidates to run as Americans first before being a Democrat, Republican or Independent.”
Vallely, who today is chairman of the organization Stand Up America, served as the deputy commanding general of Pacific Command.
Jones, who is vice chairman of The Americans Project of Stand Up America, held numerous Air Force command positions including a tactical fighter wing, a strategic airlift wing and a special operations group.
In calling for the forced resignations of Obama and the leadership of Congress, Vallely outlined suggestions for nationwide rallies and said a peaceful “civil uprising is still not out of question.”
The current crop of leaders, he said, must face a “demand resignation” process, which he explained requires massive grassroots protests and social networking which he envisions can be undertaken through his organization. And example of a “forced resignation,” he said, was that of President Richard Nixon.
“Our federal government continues down the path of destroying America,” Vallely said. “Americans must now stand up and put America back on the right track.”
Workable solution
Vallely and Jones in their paper say “The Americans” leadership has developed workable solutions to “help solve and fix what has without question stunted our nation’s ability to clearly, legally and peacefully function as a constitutional republic.”
“Honest, selfless political leadership is the first key to America’s economic and debt recovery and secure future for all citizens and their children,” they say. “That means voters must band together and vote for positive ‘America first’ leadership rather than self-serving greed and corruption within the two major political parties that have for decades and are now rapidly tearing the United States of America apart.”
In their paper, Vallely and Jones call for adherence to the Constitution with strict congressional oversight of all executive actions.
In an apparent reference to the cutback in overall U.S. military readiness, they call for a strong national defense but stipulate that “in no way” would the U.S. military ever be used against U.S. citizens, a reference to a growing concern among many Americans.
The paper decried the historic $17 trillion government debt, concerns over continued unemployment and excessive tax rates on businesses and citizens.
Their solutions? Vallely and Jones call for abolishing the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue Service system, the intended result of which would be that “all political plundering of the peoples’ wealth via taxation will be stopped.”
In abolishing the Federal Reserve System, all U.S. government financial and economic functions would be turned back to the U.S. Treasury.
The IRS would be immediately abolished and replaced by a sales tax on specified items for partial financing of the U.S. government.
The retired generals condemned the illegal alien “invasion,” which they said would be stopped with a secured border double fence, calling for penalties on employers who hire illegal aliens.
“There will be absolutely no jobs, no social services, no welfare nor medical services allowed to be provided to illegal alien invaders,” they say, with the exception of emergency medical care only until the illegals can be deported.
“American jobs are for U.S. citizens, returning military veterans, part-time high school students and the elderly,” they said. “When U.S. employers cannot find workers and can fully justify seeking foreign workers, government permission will be granted for hiring temporary foreign workers.”
Eliminating agencies
They also called for the elimination and consolidation of a number of federal agencies, some of which, like the Department of Homeland Security, they say, have exceeded their authority.
“The DHS with functions for national security and FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) for emergencies have both grown far beyond the intentions of reasonable and responsible leadership control, budgeting, manpower, equipment and facilities,” they say.
“Deceptive political intentions for the potential use of facilities, weapons, massive purchases of ammunition plus military-type vehicles and railroad cars are greatly objectionable to American citizens and an insult to the economic deficit of the nation,” they said.
DHS jobs could be given to the Department of Defense and the Interior Department, they claim. And FEMA would be recast as the National Emergency Agency with a reduction in manpower and merged into the Interior Department to be deployed during national emergencies.
“All weapons, munitions and military-type vehicles will be transferred to the DOD immediately,” they add.
They’d get rid of the Department of Energy and, no surprise, repeal Obamacare.
“It is critically important for American citizens to know and understand that the United States of America cannot recover from the unsustainable manmade national debt crises unless satisfactory employment is archived for a majority of U.S. citizens and that requires the existing income tax and Federal Reserve Systems to be abolished, then changed to a greatly reduced method of funding the federal government,” they said.
With the elimination of the income tax, businesses and corporations would return to the U.S., making manufacturing more competitive worldwide, with jobs emerging “in great numbers” and resulting in a booming economy.
Destructing ‘before our very eyes’
Vallely told WND the nation he long defended is self-destructing “before our very eyes,” because of “our inept and incompetent leadership in Washington.”
“The battle is on,” he added, “and we shall not retreat.”
Vallely, who has also served as a Fox News military analyst, claimed the Obama administration and leadership of Congress have been leading the nation down a road of “progressive socialism.”
The retired general said the U.S. faces a battle that is unknown to generations of Americans, and that the fate of the nation is “now in our hands” to enforce the Constitution and “severely limit the federal government and its out-of-control spending.”
Vallely added that “politics as usual will not be effective or sufficient enough to turn the country around.”
“We are in a war for America,” he told WND, adding that Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Dr. Ben Carson, the noted brain surgeon and author of “America the Beautiful” and other bestselling books have made similar observations.
“A civil uprising is still not out of the question as ‘pain’ grips the country more each day,” Vallely said, adding that there is time to change the country in a peaceful way.
‘This means raising your voice now’
“This means raising your voice now to your neighbors, family, co-workers and friends,” he said. “Be the captains of your souls. I pray for another George Washington to appear within the year and lead us.”
One of the issues that alarms Vallely is the high number of senior officers in the U.S. military who have been fired under the Obama administration, a toll estimated at one officer per week. Indeed, Vallely has been very outspoken on what he calls a “purge” of the U.S. military by the Obama administration – with a stunning nine generals and flag officers relieved of duty this year alone.
WND has been reporting on the surge of firings, suspensions and dismissals, for which Vallely has assigned a good portion of the blame to Obama’s close adviser, Valerie Jarrett. Rampant “political correctness” due to her influence, Vallely tells WND, is now permeating the military and negatively affecting everyone from top generals to the ranks of the enlisted.
According to Vallely, Obama is “intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing the U.S. as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”
Vallely equated the current treatment of U.S. senior military officers watching over what is said and done among mid-level officers and enlisted ranks to that of the “political commissars from the Communist era.”
He also told WND that the White House won’t investigate its own officials, but finds it easy to fire military commanders “who have given their lives for their country.”
‘Bought into Obama’s ideology’
“Obama will not purge a civilian or political appointee because they have bought into Obama’s ideology,” Vallely said. “The White House protects their own. That’s why they stalled on the investigation into Fast and Furious, Benghazi and Obamacare. … Anyone in the ranks who speaks out is being purged.”
He’s far from alone in his concerns about the military purge, as J.D. Gordon, a retired Navy commander and a former Pentagon spokesman in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, says the Obama administration is rushing to unload senior officers whom he believes have become “political pawns” dismissed for questionable reasons.
Retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, a recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, similarly has told WND that Obama needs to apply the same standards to his political appointees as he does to the military.
“Just when you thought the leadership of this government could not get any worse, it does,” Brady said. “Never in history has an administration spawned another scandal to cover the current one.”
This was a reference to the recent firing of a number of generals to mask “Obama’s serial scandals, all prefaced by lies – Fast and Furious, Benghazi, NSA, IRS,” among others, said Brady, former president of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
Retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, who was a founding member of Delta Force and later deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence under President George W. Bush, tells WND it is worrying that four-star generals are being retired at the rate that has occurred under Obama.
“Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause,” Boykin said. “I believe there is a purging of the military. The problem is worse than we have ever seen.”
WHAT SHOULD MILITARY LEADERS DO ABOUT OBAMA’S PURGE OF TOP OFFICERS?
- There’s no purge. It’s just a rumor from bitter Republicans and Obama haters
- Stop misbehaving and causing Obama to discipline them
- Get their affairs in order and remember that they answer to Obama
- Honor the office of president and stop slandering Obama
- There’s nothing they can do, since the president is commander in chief
- File any grievance through the proper channels and respect the chain of command
- Exercise their right to vote like any other American, nothing more
- Speak out so America becomes aware of what’s really going on
- Partner with retired military officers to demand a congressional investigation
- Unlawful orders, even those from the commander in chief, require an officer to resist
- Stage a protest and refuse unconstitutional orders until justice is done
- I can see a fair number of honest, patriotic officers resigning rather than serving the current commander

WASHINGTON – Who, or what, is behind the “purge” of top-level U.S. military officers during the Obama administration, with estimates of the number of senior officers fired during the last five years edging toward 200?
According to Retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, formerly the deputy commanding general of the Pacific Command, who has served as a Fox News senior military analyst , a good part of the blame belongs to Obama’s close adviser, Valerie Jarrett. Rampant “political correctness” due to her influence, Vallely tells WND, is now permeating the military and negatively affecting everyone from top generals to the ranks of the enlisted.
WND has been reporting on the surge of firings, suspensions and dismissals of key military commanders under Obama, including just a day ago, when the commander of the U.S. Army Garrison Japan was summarily relieved of his duties.
So far, at least nine generals and flag officers have been relieved of duty under Obama just this calendar year – widely viewed as an extraordinary number.
Jarrett, a Chicago lawyer with far-left roots, is one of Obama’s closest advisers, and has been throughout his career, well before his presidential campaign and Oval Office occupancy. She has shadowed his career, largely staying out of the limelight, but is today widely recognized as perhaps the single most influential person, aside from wife Michelle, on Barack Obama.
Vallely suggested her influence is forcing senior officers to watch everything military personnel say and do. Officially, the White House calls her a senior adviser with responsibilities for the offices of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, but insiders agree her influence on the president is unique and powerful.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, says in a story by The Blaze, that Jarrett influences nearly every policy issue at the White House.
“She seems to have her tentacles into every issue and every topic,” Chaffetz says. “Her name ultimately always comes up.”
The Washington Post has written about Jarrett as the president’s “mysterious” adviser.
And author Ed Klein, former editor-in-chief of the New York Times magazine, said in a Washington Times report that Jarrett was the secret “architect” of the Obama strategy to shut down the government and blame it on congressional Republicans.
“She convinced the president that a government shutdown and default offered a great opportunity to demonize the Republicans and help the Democrats win back a majority in the House of Representatives in 2014,” said Klein.
London’s Daily Mail newspaper notes that Jarrett’s insider nickname is “Night Stalker” because of her exclusive, late-night access to the presidential family’s private quarters.
According to Vallely, Obama is “intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”
Vallely served in the Vietnam War and retired in 1993 as deputy Commanding General, Pacific Command.
Today, he is chairman of the Military Committee for the Center for Security Policy and is co-author of the book “Endgame: The Blueprint for Victory in the War on Terror.”
Vallely equated the current treatment of U.S. senior military officers watching over what is said and done among mid-level officers and enlisted ranks to that of the “political commissars from the Communist era.”
For example, said Vallely, “Col. Dooley, who was relieved of duty … can’t even talk about radical Islam and other issues that the Obama administration is putting out.”
He is referring to U.S. Army Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley, a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, who was relieved of duty as a military instructor after being publicly condemned by Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Dooley was relieved because of what was referred to as the negative way Islam was portrayed in an approved course titled “Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism.”
Action was taken against him after 57 Muslim organizations in an Oct. 19, 2011, letter to the Department of Defense demanded that all training materials they judged to be offensive to Islam be “purged” and the instructors be “effectively disciplined.”
Dooley, in fact, later was eliminated from contention for a position as battalion commander even though a five-member selection board had agreed to consider him.
The controversy generated a legal claim on behalf of Dooley by the Thomas More Law Center, where Richard Thompson, president, said, “The way they’re treating him now is not only a total miscarriage of justice on a personal level, but it also is really removing an effective combat leader from the Army, and it ultimately effects the national security of the United States.”
In another case considered by Obama critics to exemplify his demands for radical political correctness in the U.S. military, Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk was relieved of his position for refusing to agree with the homosexual agenda of his commanding officer, a lesbian.
“It’s now reaching the point it’s not acceptable to think something,” attorney Mike Berry of Liberty Institute told WND about the case.
The conflict began when Monk objected to the plans of his commander at Lackland Air Force Base to severely punish a supervised staff sergeant who had expressed his religious objections to homosexuality to trainees.
During their conversation, the commander ordered Monk to reveal his personal views on homosexuality. Monk claims he then was relieved of his position because his views differed from the commander’s.
Berry explained, “We’re now at this juncture … if you don’t believe, or think in a particular manner, that’s going to be held against you.”
Of the current atmosphere, a sailor who recently returned from sea duty told Vallely he gets more instruction on sexual harassment than he does in how to handle weapons.
“The planned agenda is to squash any dialogue in the ranks on any issue on which the administration disagrees,” Vallely said.
He said a similar move has now taken place against officers in the Central Intelligence Agency in a congressional probe on the Sept.11, 2012, terrorist attack on the special mission in Benghazi.
The general pointed out that at least two CIA officers who were to testify recently were told a few weeks ago to keep quiet or they could lose their jobs.
“It is easier to do this to military personnel,” he said. “No one on the civilian side is purged.”
As a consequence of this White House-generated initiative, Vallely said the effect has been a major loss of morale in which soldiers believe they have lost their First Amendment rights.
The intimidation extends also to retired generals and mid-level officers who want to get jobs with defense contractors, according to Vallely, who said many even in retirement are intimidated, since it can affect their ability to get a government contract.
Even defense contractors are discouraging any talk within their corporations that disparage Obama’s agenda, he added.
“These are just some aspects on how our military is being decimated by telling them either to shut your mouth or you won’t get a job,” Vallely told WND.
In addition to Vallely, a number of prominent retired generals – from Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, a founder of the Army’s elite Delta Force, to Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. Patrick Henry Brady – have also gone on the record with WND on this issue.
They’ve described Obama’s actions as nothing less than an all-out attack on America’s armed forces.
Likewise, retired Navy Capt. Joseph John tells WND that the “bigger picture” is that “the U.S. Armed Forces have been under relentless attack by the occupant of the Oval Office for five years.”
A Naval Academy graduate, John had three tours of duty in Vietnam, served as an al-Qaida expert for the FBI, and was a commanding officer with SEALs embedded on special operations. As chairman of Combat Veterans For Congress PAC (Political Action Committee), he has helped elect 20 combat veterans to Congress.
“I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views,” John told WND.
“The truly sad story is that many of the brightest graduates of the three major service academies witnessing what the social experiment on diversity … is doing to the U.S. military, are leaving the service after five years,” he said. “We are being left with an officer corps that can be made to be more compliant, that is, exactly what Obama needs to effect his long range goals for the U.S. military.”
In an email to WND, John outlined what he termed “a very few of the most egregious” aspects of Obama’s “attack” on the military over the past five years.
He referred specifically to the Rules of Engagement in combat that were put in place after Obama took office, asserting that the changes resulted in very high casualty rates in Afghanistan, including the loss of 17 members of SEAL Team 6 in one incident.
“The Rules of Engagement precluded the use of suppression fire at a landing zone,” John said.
Echoing what other high-ranking officers have told WND, he said the Pentagon policy of repealing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” resulted in the first openly “gay” “major military force in the world.” The development has brought about “massive” sexual assaults on “thousands of straight military male personnel that have been covered up,” he said.
If John’s comments about Obama sound dire, they are no more so than those expressed to WND in recent days by top generals.
Brady, recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, said Obama’s agenda is decimating the morale of the U.S. ranks to the point members no longer feel prepared to fight or have the desire to win.
“There is no doubt he [Obama] is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him” over such issues as “homosexuals, women in foxholes, the Obama sequester,” Brady told WND.
“They are purging everyone, and if you want to keep your job, just keep your mouth shut,” another military source told WND.
Not only are military service members being demoralized and the ranks’ overall readiness being reduced by the Obama administration’s purge of key leaders, colonels – those lined up in rank to replace outgoing generals – are quietly taking their careers in other directions.
Boykin, who was a founding member of Delta Force and later deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence under President George W. Bush, says it is worrying that four-star generals are being retired at the rate that has occurred under Obama.
“Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause,” Boykin said.
“I believe there is a purging of the military,” he said. “The problem is worse than we have ever seen.”
The future of the military is becoming more and more of concern, added Boykin, since colonels who would become generals are also being relieved of duty if they show that they’re not going to support Obama’s agenda, which critics have described as socialist.
“I talk to a lot of folks who don’t support where Obama is taking the military, but in the military they can’t say anything,” Boykin said.
As a consequence, he said, the lower grades have decided to leave, having been given the signal that there is no future in the military for them.
Brady, who was a legendary “Dust Off” air ambulance pilot in Vietnam and detailed his experiences in his book, “Dead Men Flying: Victory in Viet Nam,” told WND, “The problem is military people will seldom, while on duty, go on the record over such issues, and many will not ever, no matter how true. I hear from many off the record who are upset with the current military leadership and some are leaving and have left in the past.”
Brady referred to additional problems in today’s military including “girly-men leadership [and] medals for not shooting and operating a computer. This president will never fight if there is any reason to avoid it and with a helpless military he can just point to our weakness and shrug his shoulders.”
WND reported that three of the nine firings by Obama this year alone were linked to the controversy surrounding the Sep. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the CIA special mission in Benghazi, Libya.
In one case, U.S. Army Gen. Carter Ham, who commanded U.S. African Command when the consulate was attacked and four Americans were killed, was highly critical of the decision by the State Department not to send in reinforcements.
Obama has insisted there were no reinforcements available that night.
But Ham contends reinforcements could have been sent in time, and he said he never was given a stand-down order. However, others contend that he was given the order but defied it. He ultimately was relieved of his command and retired.
Now, new information in the Washington Times reveals there were Delta Force personnel in Tripoli at the time of the attack and two members volunteered to be dispatched to Benghazi to assist in protecting the Benghazi compound, contrary to stand-down orders from the State Department.
Another flag officer involved in the Benghazi matter – which remains under congressional investigation – was Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette. He commanded the Carrier Strike Group.
He contends aircraft could have been sent to Libya in time to help the Americans under fire. He later was removed from his post for alleged profanity and making “racially insensitive comments.”
Army Major Gen. Ralph Baker was the commander of the Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa at Camp Lemonier in Djibouti, Africa. Baker contended that attack helicopters could have reached the consulate in time on the night of the attack.

Americans are discovering more about President Obama’s and Capitol Hill Democrats’ ‘ObamaCare’ falsified declarations, misgivings of medical care, more enormous ‘ObamaCare’ premium increases, and other catastrophes.  We are finally learning as to how dishonest President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats have been, and continue to deliberately ‘lie’ about (y)our most needed and trusted Health Care system in the entire world.  Where are the responsible ‘main-stream’ Medias?  Why do so many of the ‘main-stream’ Medias continue to fail Americans on this issue?

With our ‘private’ Health Care industry, along with Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and other individuals’ personal plans, Americans are very well cared for.  There are ‘little to no’ needs for disrupting our current Health Care system with ‘ObamaCare’ or any other government plan(s).

While marketing ‘ObamaCare’, President Obama and others declared, “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period.”

While marketing ‘ObamaCare’, President Obama and others declared, “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.”

While marketing ‘ObamaCare’, President Obama and others stated that your Health Care premiums under ‘ObamaCare’ would be reduced.  This, too, is untrue on almost all cases!  Americans are finding ‘ObamaCare’ premium increase averages from 62% in California, 60% in Alabama, 34% in Texas, 41% in Arizona, and 92% in North Carolina.  Some Americans are finding increases of ‘ObamaCare’ at or around 100% and higher.  Due to these extreme ‘ObamaCare’ premium increases, many middle-class, working Americans are being forced into Medicaid coverage.

‘Millions’ of Americans are having their current personal and business Health Care policies cancelled due to ‘ObamaCare’ requirements; for example, males are forced to pay for pregnancy medical care costs on themselves.  Wow!

Many other ‘untrue’ statements as reported by President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats are now arriving in the public area on a daily basis; deceptive words, phrases, and other statements that are unworthy of ‘integrity’ from government leaders.

Many ‘main-stream’ Medias continue to deceive Americans by covering up President Obama’s falsifications.  Except for the ‘main-stream’ Medias ‘First Amendment’ with ‘Freedom of Speech’, some of these members would and should, otherwise, be investigated, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced to jail.

President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats are now commencing to blame the ‘insurance industry’ as they are now attacking this industry that has served Americans for hundreds of years.  In the near future, you may see President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats pursue and introduce new legislation that would totally destroy our Health Insurance industry and other insurance subsidiaries, and, perhaps, lead to a government takeover of our entire banking industry.

With recently presented verification of earlier claims from President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats now turn out to be falsified with facts, and with additional information arriving about ‘ObamaCare’ that turns out to be fraudulent claims now confirms that ‘ObamaCare’ must be repealed.  Many more political bombs in this legislation may be yet to come.  You and I can expect President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats to continue to ‘cram ‘ObamaCare’ down our throats’.  2014 General Election will prove that a large majority of Americans will overwhelmingly reject ‘ObamaCare’, a much different law than as previously promised.

Americans are finding that the ‘Affordable Care Act’ is not affordable at all for most individuals and families.  The selfish and ignorant must awaken before it is too late.  ‘Main-stream’ Medias should become more honest and professional with their own ‘Freedom of Speech’ protections.  President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats must stop praying on the selfish and Ignorant.

“29 March 2013: Ten months ago a massive powerful bank hack hit over 206 banks worldwide simultaneously siphoning billions from customer accounts. It went under-reported and unnoticed by main stream media. Six months ago NatWest/RBS online banking and ATM went offline. Millions had trouble accessing their funds. A few months later online banking and ATMs from some of the biggest names in banking in the US started to receive DNS error messages and were knocked offline completely or were limping along,causing millions a hassle and head ache to get their funds.

Two weeks ago Chase had an “issue” with their online banking computers as well as their mainframe servers were hit by some “problems” that caused thousands of their customers bank accounts to read $0.00 as their balance. Millions of others had issues accessing funds and ATM’S from the house of Morgan. Last week the entire banking network of South Korea went down for hours, millions of customers were not able to access their funds, use ATMs or even check their balance. This week the entire Internet teetered on the brink of collapse as SpamHaus was hit by over 300 billion bits of information per second. That is what we are led to believe and that this attack was led by a rival company Cyberbunker. Whether this story is true or not, it does highlight the sensitivity of the internet. The overpowering pattern and factor here is that wherever you look in the world there are issues with the internet, networks and servers and it all centers around banking.

For some time I have emphatically stated that there will be a bank hack or cyber attack as the global economy is pushed to the brink of collapse. From top level sources I can confirm to you what you are seeing is an emerging pattern of various beta-tests using Stuxnet like algorithms to affect the banking networks the world over. I can tell you though that the primary target is the US. Look you can not have a bank hack a few months ago that siphoned over $2 billion and hitting over 200 banks by some mere hacking group. In order pull something off like this I stated in a prior alert that this is something that can only be done by an Intelligence Agency working in close collusion with a Central Bank. After all you need to understand that various money and wire networks through which currency flows. Who but a Central Bank can give you the access and the backdoor for this to occur?

How can so many bank and ATM networks like NYCE, PULSE, PLUS, INTERAC, CIRRUS, BACNET, NOVUS all be affected? This is truly something of a very sophisticated nature. Something that is very large in scope and very ominous in action. Folks it is without a shadow of a doubt that these are all beta-tests. I have said it before this will be a financial false flag. The frequency of banking network failures has gotten to be very acute to the point that I am convinced that we are edging closer to the one major event that will set everything in motion. The take down of the economy is close at hand and the major cyber attack will be on it’s way. These emerging patterns are a clear picture of an malevolent power play that will be done to bring the system crashing to it’s knees. Things have gotten to the point of ‘Critical Mass’!. Maybe that is why some of the top economist are right now panicking like never before. Get your cash out, keep what you need to pay the bills. Otherwise what you will be getting is not a 40% haircut, It will be a financial decapitation.

Intelligence insider: Obama administration agenda to “kill U.S Dollar”!

“30 March 2013:  This week, I had a series of very sobering discussions with my highly-placed source within the intelligence world. The information he provided hit me like a proverbial tons of bricks. It connects everything we are seeing play out across the world, from the economic problems in Europe to the U.S. DHS ammunition acquisition orders and even the “gun control” debate. If you’re like me, you’re looking for clarity, context and focus with regard to all of the events we’re constantly hearing about but seem to lack legitimate explanation. I believe this report will provide the context and clarity we are all seeking, but I must warn you that the picture is not pretty.

The economic agenda: In plain sight

Some might be surprised to learn that the fate of America’s economy has already been determined, verified and announced by the Obama White House. Yet, it has received scant attention from the corporate media. In 2011, economist Kyle Bass interviewed a senior member of the Obama administration about its planned solutions for fixing the US economy and trade deficit[i].

Among the questions he asked was about U.S. exports and wages, but the question itself was not nearly as important as the response he received from this senior administration official. In fact, this single, seven word response clarifies everything, explains everything, and leaves little else to discuss: “We’re just going to kill the dollar.”

There it is, the entire agenda in one short sentence. It explains everything we’ve been seeing domestically and globally. That one statement makes every other question irrelevant, or otherwise answers all economic questions and explains everything. Nothing else matters. I urge you to ponder that statement and all that it implies. Doing so will provide you with the clarity to understand not only what is taking place today, but what is yet to come.

Murder & High Treason

It is important to note the specificity of the word “kill.” Stated in the active voice, it means an unambiguously intentional and deliberate act. The murder of our national currency, the United States Dollar (USD), is the ultimate agenda to be implemented under Obama. To “kill” our national currency will subvert the United States and destroy it from within. This begs a number of questions, including what type of Americans would actually have, as their objective, the destruction of our national currency? To whom do they hold their allegiance, if not to the American people whose life’s work as well as the toil of our ancestors is represented in the form of wealth held in U.S. dollars? Does this make any sense to us, as Americans? The answer of course is “no.”

By its very definition, to kill our national currency is an act of high treason by those engaged in this activity. It undermines the very sovereignty and survival of our nation, and will have a life-changing impact on every citizen in the U.S. It will also impact every nation and the people of every nation on the planet, as the USD is presently the world’s reserve currency. It is an act that should result in the filing of criminal charges against the conspirators, a trial of their peers and if convicted, a death sentence. It’s that serious.

According to my source, we are past the point of no return. We will not be able to stop what is coming, but must be wise enough to prepare and “get out of the way.” The murder plot involving the death of the dollar did not begin with Obama, but he and other conspirators have accelerated the plans, plots and schemes for its demise.

The ultimate objective

The ultimate objective is to implement an international currency in tandem with a system of global governance. The problem is that most people are not thinking large enough, nor do they understand the magnitude of the lie. They are not seeing the larger picture as their focus is diverted elsewhere. For example, they focus on various tentacles of the octopus such as the gun confiscation initiative, the DHS armament acquisitions and economic woes as independent and unrelated events. They are not.

Meanwhile, others continue to adhere to, or even perpetuate the dual party meme of governance, holding dearly to the notion that there is a practical difference between the Republican and Democrat parties. Have we not seen sufficient evidence that they are now of one party acting in concert with each other? They cannot see the collusion and backroom deals, and continue to hope that the next election will finally change the unchangeable continuity of agenda.

Most of the elected officials are onboard with the subjugation of the United States to a global system of governance. Some are actively facilitating this agenda, while others are making nominal objections on the stage of political theater while hoping to earn a seat at the global table. It’s entertainment for the globalists, distraction of the masses, and diversionary fodder for the talking heads in the media.

America has become a captured operation – captured from within. Think of the Vichy French, internal collaboration with the enemy, or softening the ground for a full takeover from within. The takeover of America has already happened, the collaborators have already been installed, and we are now on a path to complete subjugation of a larger global system of governance. If you continue to doubt this, how else would you explain the numerous examples of our dual-party governmental acquiescence of self destruction?

“Signs, signs, everywhere signs…”

Those who are pleased about the new record setting stock-market highs and various other manipulated statistics that indicate our economy is improving will be the most vocal critics of this report and who will attempt to discredit the validity of the information offered here. The more intellectually astute will look beyond the statistics offered for mass consumption not only to identify the deliberately manipulated data, but to understand what is actually driving these false hopes, figures and data. It is a magic show, and many are still captivated by the magicians’ many diversions, failing to realize that we are engaged in a global war while being simultaneously hobbled by enemy infiltrators from within.

One reason we are seeing new stock market highs is the rush to the dollar from other currencies, especially in the Eurozone. Another reason is the monetization of our debt by the Federal Reserve, despite the previous denials of Ben Bernanke and others.

Simply put, the plan by the globalists, or the central bankers and those behind them, is to create this rush to the USD like passengers from sinking ships to lifeboats. Once the lifeboats are filled to capacity, they will be sunk, and the United States Dollar will be completely worthless. As in such a scenario, many will not make it. Many will die from what is coming. The level of evil behind this plan is incomprehensible to the normal human mind.

Russia, China, Syria and Iran

As I detailed in my multiple reports about Benghazi, we are at war with Russia. After removing Qaddafi from power in Libya, the Obama-Clinton black-ops plan was immediately put into action. Benghazi was the logistics hub for arming the anti-Assad terrorists by our own State Department covert operatives who were shipping millions of tons of weapons to Syria via Turkey and other staging areas. Russia was aware of our actions, and through the attack at the CIA operations center in Benghazi by proxy forces, exposed this operation to the world while putting a stop to this operation. It seems that everyone except the Western media reported what had taken place.

The “dirty little secret” that explains why we have not been told the truth about Benghazi is quite simple. The efforts to overthrow Assad from power are continuing, except the arms and munitions shipments are now originating primarily from Croatia. Overthrowing Assad would pose a direct threat to Russia, both militarily and economically. Are we to expect Russia’s Putin to simply accept this without response? No. So what is Russia doing to subvert our efforts? He is waging war against America, striking at the weak underbelly of our economy which is the “oil backed” dollar as identified in Michael Reagan’s article, Building on a Kernel of Truth.

Sadly, the Obama regime is doing nothing to protect us from this asymmetrical war. It’s as if they are allowing it to take place.

Although it was reported in The New York Times, few have paid attention to last week’s meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, but it was an extremely important event in terms of the planned murder of the U.S. dollar. An alliance is being forged between Russia and China to replace the USD as the reserve currency, already severely weakened by the policies of those in power, with a gold backed currency. Russia and China are hoarding gold to levels never before seen, while the U.S. issues worthless paper and digital currency backed by… nothing, save for the “oil-backed” scenario.

While reports do exist that cite the hoarding of gold by China and Russia, they are purposely under reporting their collective reserves. Meanwhile, Americans can’t even get honest answers to the amounts of our own gold reserves held in Fort Knox or the Federal Reserve. Don’t people find this reluctance for audit and inspection a bit curious if not outright suspicious?

The battle is being waged not only by military might but by a currency war. We are “being played” through our military involvement in the Middle East, including our covert operations against Syria at the behest of Saudi Arabia. Unlike Iraq, the war in Syria will explode, turn hot, and we will be engaged in an ominous battle that will quickly expand and turn deadly. Weakened militarily through the policies of the Obama regime, coupled with an already weakened economy, the U.S. will suffer consequences unlike anyone might imagine or is willing to address. It is a recipe for disaster planned and initiated by the global elite behind the central banking system, including those in our own government. We have been set up from within, lied to, and now, we are about to see exactly what this globalist system has in store for not only the United States, but every nation of the world.

It is critical to understand that the take-down of the U.S. will be the result of an asymmetrical war that includes the weakening of our military, our economy, and a direct assault on our ability to keep the dollar as the world reserve currency and protect the free flow of oil and energy to the United States.

Within the last week, China held a surprise naval exercise in the South China Sea. Meanwhile, Russia displayed their resurgent military night in the Black Sea. These exercises were conducted as U.S. military forces are spread thinly across many areas in the world. Is anyone paying attention here?

Just as certain a collapse of the dollar is coming, so will be chaos on the streets of America caused by this plan “to kill the dollar.” The central bankers and the leaders selected to govern each country have effectively used the Hegelian Dialectic[ii] to implement their agenda. Just as stated by George H.W. Bush on September 11, 1990, their predetermined solution of a “New World Order” is being formed before our very eyes. They’ve told us what they are doing, but we have chosen not to listen or failed to understand what was being said.

The U.S. has always been the firewall against the globalists. By their persistence, infiltration of global elitists into our government, and covert subversion from within, we are being led to slaughter. A view from space, looking at the larger picture of events for which many have questions, a clearer picture emerges. There will be some who dare to resist the pillaging of ourbank accounts, the erosion of our rights, and the enslavement that comes with the dismantling of America.

The dust clouds visible on the far horizon that watchmen have been reporting for decades can now be seen as an attacking army of barbarians, whose fighters are now on the ladders and cannons are breaching our empire’s outer walls. Who knows how long the inner walls of our empire will survive the next wave of their coming attack.

Perhaps Ernest Hemmingway said it best in referencing John Donne from his novel of the same name… “And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.”

When President Obama criticizes Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), President Obama is criticizing middle Americans.

Since President Obama was sworn in as President in January 2009, the Senate majority Democrat Party has passed legislation in difference to the requests of Americans.  The Senate Democrat Party supports the radical socialistic ideals as instituted by President Obama. 

During many Senate hearings for originating new legislation, the Republican Party has offered amendments as supported by America’s taxpayers.  Senate Democrat leaders defeated GOP amendments in committees and on the floor of the US Senate.

Majority Democrats on Capitol Hill “crammed down our throats” ObamaCare while American were saying “NO” then and are still saying “NO”.  Americans are now witnessing radical costs as reflected by ObamaCare.  Even Labor Unions are now saying “NO” to ObamaCare.

Capitol Hill Democrats passed a $787 Billion “stimulus” bill that Americans were told was critical for immediate passage to create jobs.  Since passage, unemployment has increased, rather than decreasing.  Where are the jobs?

America is now facing a near $17 Trillion debt; an enormous debt outside any reasonable payback except for our children, their children, etc.  More than $6 Trillion debt has mounted during Obama’s less than 5 years as President.

Sen. Ted Cruz is promoting and practicing “test and proven” economic ideas to restore our nation’s economy.  These are the Tax Enough Already (TEA) Party principles most Americans understand and trust.

Building the Keystone pipeline is a known source of creating thousands of new jobs; however, President Obama continues to force Americans to purchase higher gasoline prices from Muslim nations who hate America.

"If the Keystone XL pipeline is not approved, Canadian oil will be shipped across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans on enormous tankers to Asia, where it will be refined at facilities with far less stringent standards than any in the United States," said Senator John Hoeven, a North Dakota Republican. GOP leaders and many other Republicans voted for ObamaCare in joining Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats to defeat Sen. Most Americans and more than half of all small business now want ObamaCare to be repealed and/or defunded.  Even Labor Unions are calling to end ObamaCare.  Our US economy is in shambles; however, Capitol Hill GOP leaders led many Republicans to join in with President Obama, Sen. Harry Reid, and other Capitol Hill Democrats.  Did you ever believe so many Republicans could and/or would make such a left turn.  It is as if too many Capitol Hill legislators are drinking too much ‘Kool-Aid’ or consuming some other ‘mind bending’ substance(s).

Unfortunately, most Capitol Hill Democrat and Republican Party leaders have betrayed (y)our American businesses and their employees on ObamaCare.

Pennsylvania Avenue and many Democrat, Republican, and Independent Capitol Hill legislators are well overdue for replacements.  Watch their Senate challengers ascend in 2014!

To win, Capitol Hill Republicans in the House must ‘stay firm’, take Harry Reid’s CR, ‘re-attach’ defunding ObamaCare, and return it to the Senate.

In the end, the Republican Party ‘will win’ if they ‘stand firm’ and require ‘defunding of ObamaCare’ while funding other balances of the bloated budget.  Americans want ObamaCare to go away; either ‘repeal or defund’ this economy killing ‘atrocity’. No more debating!

If the Republicans weaken or bow, President Obama, Harry Reid, and Capitol Hill Democrats win.

Just as the American electorate held Nancy Pelosi and Capitol Hill Democrats responsible for ‘cramming’ ObamaCare down the throats of Americans in 2009/2010, the American electorate will hold President Obama, Harry Reid, and Capitol Hill Democrat responsible in 2014 for not negotiating, repealing, or defunding.

If Republicans fail to continue the fight to defund or repeal, Americans will hold Capitol Hill Republicans responsible, and many Republicans will be coming home after the November 2014 General Election. 

Republicans must stay strong.  It is President Obama, Sen. Harry Reid and other Democrats who, by refusing to negotiate what Americans desire, are forcing the government ‘shut-down’.

As President Obama continues to financially damage our countries economy, your credit score is more important now than it's ever been.

Interest rates continue to stay low thousands of Americans will flock to their lenders to refinance their homes, and many of those will find that their credit scores prevent them from taking any real advantage of those low rates. Borrowers that financed when rates were low previously, and their credit scores higher, were able to get a decent rate then. Now that they’ve missed a few payments (often due to unemployment) and lowered that score, they would likely get the same rate offered to them years ago, or worse.

Let’s take a look at what’s in a credit report and your FICOscore (The software used to calculate a great number of redit scores was created by the Fair Isaac Corporation–FICO).

Typically, four types of information are reflected:

1. Personal information. This includes your name, spouse’s name, social security number, current and previous addresses, birth date and current and previous employers. This data is culled from your past credit applications, so its accuracy is dependent upon how completely and honestly you fill out forms each time you apply for credit.
2. Credit information. Included is information regarding each of your accounts with banks, retailers, credit card issuers and/or other lenders. Credit limits as well as loan amounts and balances are detailed, along with payment patterns going back a few years.
3. Public information. This includes bankruptcies, tax liens and monetary judgments, and, in some states, overdue child support.
4. Inquiries. Included are the names of those who requested and obtained copies of your credit report.

Now not all of this information remains on your credit report permanently

Positive credit information will remain on your report indefinitely, although information about an account will fall off your report if nothing new is reported for seven years.                          

Negative credit information remains on your report for up to seven years after the date of the original delinquency.                          

The length of time for which a bankruptcy will affect your credit depends on the type of bankruptcy that you file. Chapters 7, 11 and 12 remain on your credit report for 10 years. Chapter 13 bankruptcy (under which all or part of all debts owed are repaid under a court-approved payment plan), will be deleted from your report after seven years. All other public record information is typically removed after seven years.                          

Inquiries are cycled off your report after one to two years, depending on the type of inquiry. There is of course some personal information that your credit report does not reveal. It doesn’t reflect information about your race, religious preference, medical history, personal lifestyle, personal background, political preference or criminal record.

I’ll shed some light on how lenders evaluate your report

How are credit scores calculated?

Credit scores are generated by inputting the data from your credit report into software that analyzes it and equates a number. The three major credit reporting agencies don’t necessarily use the same scoring software, so often the credit scores they generate for you are different.

Which parts of a credit history are most important?

The breakdown below shows the approximate value that each aspect of your credit report adds to a credit score calculation. Use these percentages as a guide:

35% – Your Payment History 30% – Amounts You Owe 15% – Length of Your Credit History 10% – Types of Credit Used 10% – New Credit

Your Payment History Includes:

• Number of accounts paid as agreed
• Negative public records or collections
• Delinquent accounts:
  1. total number of past due items
  2. how long you’ve been past due
  3. how long it’s been since you had a past due payment

What You Owe:

• How much you owe on accounts and the types of accounts with balances.
• How much of your revolving credit lines you’ve used (looking for red-flags you are over-extended).
• Amounts you owe on installment loan accounts vs. their original balances. (to make sure you are you paying them down consistently-which means negative ARM loans can hurt your credit).
• Number of zero balance accounts.

Length of Credit History:

• Total length of time tracked by your credit report.
• Lengths of time since accounts were opened.
• Time that’s passed since the last activity.
• The longer your good history the better your scores.

Types of Credit:

• Total number of accounts and types of accounts (installment, revolving, mortgage, etc.)
• A mixture of account types (referred to as Trade-lines) usually generates better scores than reports with only numerous revolving accounts (credit cards)

Your New Credit:

• Number of accounts you’ve recently opened and the proportion of new accounts to total accounts.
• Number of recent credit inquiries.
• The time that’s passed since recent inquiries or newly-opened accounts.
• If you’ve re-established a positive credit history after encountering payment problems.
• In general, checking to make sure you aren’t attempting to open numerous new accounts.

Credit scoring software only considers items on your credit report. Lenders typically look at other factors that aren’t included in the report; such as income, employment history and the type of credit you are seeking.

What’s a Good Credit Score?

Credit scores (usually) range from 340 to 850. The higher your score, the less risk a lender believes you will be. As your score climbs, the interest rate you are offered will probably decline. Borrowers with a credit score over 700 are typically offered more financing options and better interest rates.

Multiple Credit Scores

Your bank will pull credit reports and scores from all three major credit reporting agencies: TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. They’ll probably use the middle score (mid-score) to work your loan application. You lender will want a copy of your credit report as part of the pre-qualifying process for a mortgage; you’ll be asked to sign a form authorizing them to acquire the reports. The purpose is to see how your credit looks and to clear up any errors that might be in it.

There are three major credit-reporting agencies in the United States: Experian, Transunion, and Equifax. You may wish to order a copy of your credit report to review. Thanks to a federal law you are entitled to one free credit report from each of the main credit reporting agencies per year, though the reports are not automatically sent out.

You may go to annualcreditreport.com to access their annual credit report online for free, or you may complete the form on the back of the Annual Credit Report Request brochure, and mail it to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA, 30348-5281

TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian all allow you to review your report online free for 30 days; you will not however see your score. The reports will have different information because it’s a voluntary system, and creditors subscribe to whichever agency they prefer.

So if you want to maintain your score and understand the system, you must always protect it against identity thieves and mistaken negative reporting. In the end, maintaining your score will save thousands in interest on your home, auto, and credit cards; keeping you from being another victim of the Obamaconomy.

President Obama wasted no time in fulfilling his promise to spread American's wealth around.  Having more than doubled the number of welfare recipients in the U.S., the President was not only successful in locking in these recipient's votes but he was also successful in robbing them of their "self-worth."  Since when did Welfare become something that American's aspired to rather than aspiring from its' grip ?  This is not to say that all forms of Welfare are debilitating but we would be beyond naive to think that these prolonged tax

payer "handouts" aren't crippling our country !  Aside from greatly limiting any incentive to follow The

American Dream of working hard, contributing to society and enjoying the "fruits of your labor,"  the expectation of Welfare has made the fruit even sweeter when it comes from someone else's labor !   This has taken the "entitlement mentality" to new and dangerous levels - hence, the bold and needless crime we are seeing !  Society can no longer afford the entitlement that Welfare breeds, the lack of supervision from single

parent households and the crimes the products of these households commit !  Many of these children are

simply a means to get more entitlements, then left to fend for themselves.  No wonder they have no incentives, no direction, no self-worth other than what the criminal element can provide ! When we have children shooting other innocent children because they're bored, we're in trouble !  It's time for stary eyed

liberals to realize, that "we are all" expendable under Obama's watch, especially our children . . . 

At least that is what the markets are letting known is the driver and that is certainly part of the story.

Traders see through the stories but pay attention to them as well as the larger picture. Here is the TLT, an ETF representing 20 to 30 year bonds; rising interest rates have been killing it price:

If, that linked article is right, 10-year rates are going to 3%, that could put mortgages and the 30-year up towards 5% -- without the FED moving the overnight rate (the only rate they really control).  The market may see that as a way to keep Fed rates low longer (Bernanke threatened an increase on May -- see the result on the chart above).  All rates are linked together from short to long - see the yield curve here.  The "longer term rates" must stay above the "short term rates" for banks to stay profitable -- they make a lot of their money from the "carry" between the rate times, borrowing short and lending out long.  Play with the graph on the right and move a vertical line (that appears when you click on it, or you can animate it with the button) across the time scale.  Note the inverted curve (shorter rates higher than long term rates)  at the 2000 stock market peak and the similarly flat curve at the 2007 stock market peak.  Compare that to our current yield curve, held artificially low by the emergency (going on 6 years) federal policies, anchoring it at 0%.  Normal economic cycling has been suspended by the 5-year emergency measures!

"So we want stocks to go up for years?  Well hold down interest rates -- a crappy economy will help.  So what if it cripples growth to a crawl?  We will worry about that later.  What a juvenile selfish approach to managing our economy!   

Note the move to near 0% (bottom of the yield curve at the origin of the graph) overnight rates in 12/07, carrying through the present -- what makes that possible is the almost unlimited printing of money (TARP, QE1, QE2, Operation Twist), massively inflating the US money supply (To make matters worse, most foreign countries are in the same boat or even worse off!). While stocks may retrace in price somewhat, until that policy is rescinded (or at least there is an announcement of a time-table for rate adjustment (up), stocks should be buoyed at some intermediate level.  If they start to drop very low, despite the extremely loose money policy, that would be a very very bad sign for the market as well as the economy.

TLT should bottom out around 90 to 100.  If stock prices fall steeply, bond prices are likely to rise again.

While “progressives” have existed in both major American political Parties for over a century, in recent years "progressives" have consumed the Democratic Party’s structural hierarchy while simultaneously increasingly insinuating themselves into the ranks of Republican Party leadership. This has led to a blurring in the minds of the American voter of the distinction between the two. Combine that blurred distinction with the growing reality that members of both Parties are increasingly interested in keeping their own powerful positions, replete with benefits comparable to royalty, and it becomes dangerously less possible to distinguish between them.

When Republicans sound and act like Democrat-light and Democrats hijack the rhetoric of and abduct issues from the Republican Party, how can the voter reasonably expect to decipher the difference?

The American political system has been corrupted by self-interested career politicians far more interested in their own political survival and the accompanying feeding from the public trough than they are in looking out for the interests of the American voter.

Americans need to realize that the Republican versus Democrat political paradigm, if not dead, is on failing life support.

Today’s Democratic Party is definitely not the Party of John F. Kennedy. The Party of “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” has become the Party of steal from the productive and control the redistribution of that wealth to a government dependent class which cries out “give us more free stuff.” In the interest of getting themselves re-elected, members of both political Parties have moved in the direction of giving away “free stuff,” be it in the form of Welfare and Food Stamps to the inner city poor or in the form of subsidies and tax breaks for special interest groups eager to be on the receiving end of crony capitalism.

In the twenty first century, the contemporary political paradigm in America is no longer Republican versus Democrat. It is Americans versus "progressives."

If you are a "progressive" you are not an American, and if you're an American you will never be a "progressive."

Upon what foundation can such an assertion be made?

Today, the political philosophical divide in the United States lies between the intent of America’s Founding Fathers and the intent of “progressives”, who favor the Marxist view. The Marxist view is directly, fundamentally and diametrically opposed to the uniquely American view.

America is the birthplace of freedoms that allows everyone the right to own private property.

How would Americans react if, after years of struggle to make their mortgage payments, they finally owned their own home, then, what they thought was an American government “informed” them that their home did not belong to them after all, it belonged to “all of the people” and Americans had to follow government mandates to allow strangers to live on their property and in the home they had long labored to purchase…whether they liked it or not?

The American idea, the shot heard round the world, is that the people can govern themselves. By the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God Americans are entitled, by virtue of their humanity, to the maximum amount of Individual Liberties consistent with law and order, and to the Right of private ownership, not the least of which is the Right to own and decide for themselves. Where to live, what to do for a living, what to eat, where their children will go to school, what motor vehicle they will drive, what healthcare plan and which doctors work best for them. These Liberties and Rights are to be equally protected by a constitutionally limited, representative government that derives its just powers from the consent of the governed.

America’s Founding Fathers declared that all men are created equal; that in effect, all men are kings, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They believed that a self-governing people could thrive without the “benefit” of having an oligarchy ruling over them.

A system which allowed “common people” to own property without first obtaining permission from a “divinely ordained” ruler - the American system - was a radical departure from centuries old norms. As originally designed by its Founding Fathers, America was a place where anyone could come, work hard, earn money, save those earnings, purchase property and elevate themselves and their posterity to a level that had hitherto been unattainable where individuals remained shackled by the constraints of older political systems. America was the place where undue government interference did not prevent individual achievement.

The “progressive” idea is that an all-powerful centrally planned government, with extreme hostility towards private ownership, forces redistribution of wealth in the name of social or economic “justice”. In order to ensure “fairness”, an oligarchy of self-imagined, self-appointed “intellectual elites” will control businesses, industries and people who are incapable of governing themselves.

These “progressive” ideas are European in origin, not American.

By fleeing Europe, America’s settlers rejected Europe’s failed ideas in pursuit of a better future. A future where their dreams and ambitions were no longer restricted by the outmoded constraints imposed upon them by the European socio-economic class structure.

For over two centuries America has been an unprecedented success where a five thousand year leap was possible. Since its birth America has been a beacon to freedom seeking people because the American idea is the better idea.

Among Americans there is no debate that the United States of America is by far the most inventive, productive, prosperous and charitable nation in the history of the planet. Among “progressives,” America is populated by backwards thinking, greedy, evil bigots who need to be “enlightened” and shown the error of their ways by their “progressive” superiors.

There has yet to be put forth one rational, logical argument to support abandoning the highly successful American idea in favor of European ideas that are currently failing in Europe itself.

On March 18, 2013, it was revealed that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is preparing for an orchestrated collapse of the U.S. Dollar, which is supposedly the ultimate target of a takedown by the global banking interests controlled by a handful of banks and families of the ‘royal elite.” 

The final preparations include the deployment of heavily armed federalized forces onto the streets of America under the pretext of “restoring and maintaining order from the chaos brought about by the economic collapse,” adding that “many will demand and embrace their deployment on the streets of America and they will get what they ask for, and more.“

What follows is the entire article that revealed this extremely disturbing and gut-wrenching information:

“Much like my high-level source within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security outlined in a series of interviews beginning last year, the orchestrated collapse of the U.S. dollar and the entire world’s economic system has begun. The first shots in a global economic take-over were fired in Cyprus as my esteemed colleague and founding editor of Canada Free Press, Judi McLeod laid out in frank detail in her column yesterday. Please read it and heed her advice, or suffer the consequences of your own normalcy bias that such an event will not happen in the United States, Canada, or from wherever you might be reading this. It will, and the plan appears to be on schedule for a shot across the bow later this spring here in the West, with a more aggressive take-over starting sometime this fall, according to my source.

The Plan:

To those needing a quick refresher, the plan is quite simple and can be summarized by the Clinton-era quip attributed to political strategist James Carville, “the economy, stupid” and the June 9, 2010 statement by former Obama czar Van Jones, Socialist extraordinaire, “top down, bottom up, inside out.” It is a plan for a one world Communist economy where the “middle class” will be wiped out through a series of events that will have the same ultimate effect as we are seeing in present day Cyprus.

Based on the events in Cyprus, it should be quite clear to even the most vocal critic of the legitimacy of the information provided to me by my source within the DHS as published on this web site is no longer at issue. The U.S. dollar, the backbone of world currencies and the proverbial firewall preventing the erosion of our national sovereignty, is the ultimate target of a takedown by the global banking interests controlled by a handful of banks and families of the “royal elite.”

The plan for a global currency or a one world economic order is a matter that transcends political parties. Those who continue to argue in the Republican-Democrat meme are doing nothing more than providing entertainment to distract people from the real issue, that of the global elite versus the rest of us. The top of the pyramid in this Ponzi scheme is filled with members of both U.S. political parties who are systematically pillaging us and our future generations into financial debt, bondage and slavery. It is a plan that has been in the works for centuries. The problem, however, is that we have been conditioned not to think that big. Yet, the lie is that big.

Our current financial situation was not bred out of incompetence, but by design. The occupancy of Barack Hussein Obama as the putative President of the United States was a plan in the making long ago, to usher in this oppressive system where we will be left at the mercy of the global ruling class. It is not by accident that we have been prevented from knowing exactly who this man is, from the controversy of his birth records to his college transcripts and even his social security number. Contrary to what the state-controlled media wants you to believe, these questions have never been answered with any measure of authenticity.

For example, does anyone honestly believe that it is merely a coincidence that Obama’s alleged mother, Stanley Ann Dunham-Soetoro, just happened to work with Timothy Geithner’s father, Peter Geithner, at the Ford Foundation in Indonesia? Is it reasonable to believe that the Republican party had no knowledge of the background of Barack Hussein Obama? Yet not one word from the Republican establishment as they not only watched, but facilitated the takeover of the United States from within. As I’ve written before, our nation is a captured operation.

The plan was set into motion long ago, stemming back to the founding of the United States and the temporary resistance to the central banking system. In 1913, the creation of the Federal Reserve set the countdown clock in motion for the complete subjugation of the United States to the interests of the global bankers and the global elite. The secret supra-governmental cabals such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission worked behind the scenes, under the cover provided by the complicit media, to bring us to this point in history. Perpetual wars were induced to occupy the masses while the chess pieces were placed into their current positions. We are now about to pay the price for our inability or unwillingness to confront the establishment and incremental advancements leading to our own demise.

According to the most recent information provided to me from my source within the Department of Homeland Security known as “Rosebud,” the final preparations are being made to deploy heavily armed federalized forces onto the streets of America. Anyone owing a gun will be demonized and described as contributing to the problem.”

“What happens when the middle class loses much of their wealth, or it is confiscated, by the stroke of a pen or a keyboard? What will the stores look like when people, unprepared due to the damn lies of the corporate media and the shills for the ruling elite, run to empty out everything they can get their hands on as the world, as they know it, collapses around them?”

It was during my most recent contact with my source yesterday that he admitted that the situation will be blamed not on the bankers and the elected leaders who are raping us of our wealth and buying power, but on “right-wing, gun-toting Conservative ‘militia’ groups who believe that the situation is orchestrated.”  And, of course, it is orchestrated.

“There is no Republican-Democrat argument to be made anymore. It’s all political theater to keep the majority of the masses occupied while the true enemy has already captured both parties,” he added. “They are all in on it, either knowingly or unwittingly, the takeover, that is. And it’s getting harder to believe that there are any who are unwitting accomplices at this point.”

If there was ever a case study on why preppers should be prepared to defend their supplies, the upcoming episode of National Geographic’s Doomsday Preppers would provide a perfect example.

“We’re not in it to stockpile. We’re in it to take what you have and there’s nothing you can do to stop us,” Tyler Smith says. “We are your worst nightmare, and we are coming.”

Smith, 29, is the leader of Spartan Survival. The group has more than 80 dues-paying members. Smith founded the organization in 2005 to train and prepare others on survivalism.

On Tuesday night, Smith’s story will be told on the National Geographic Channel survivalist TV show “Doomsday Preppers.” (source)

So, not only would someone with supplies need to worry about everyday commonplace looters, they would need to be concerned about Smith and his band of merry marauders, whose survival plan seems to hinge on overwhelming force against those who have spent years gathering supplies and planning for a secure and peaceful existence.

National Geographic appears to have chosen Smith as a poster boy to give the preparedness-minded a bad name.  I wouldn’t set your DVR for this one – excerpts seem to indicate a show full of bad advice and ill-thought-out “strategies” from someone who refers to himself as “a professional deer hunter”.

He refers to himself as the “apex predator” in his area, based on his home-made body armor and other survival gear.

Most preppers, Smith says, are concerned with marauders taking their supplies. It’s not an unfounded fear, he says.

“We are those people,” he says. “We’ll kick your door in and take your supplies. … We are the marauders.”  (source)

Let’s make one thing clear – Smith is not a prepper.  He is not representative of what we do.  He’s an embarrassment to the preparedness community.  He is a thug, plain and simple.  He’s an out-of-shape criminal who is afraid to get caught, so he’s waiting for the breakdown of law and order to commit the crimes he so clearly wishes to perpetrate, without fear of spending time in prison.

Preppers, beware.  Just because someone calls themselves a prepper, doesn’t mean that they have the same morals and values as the rest of us.  Unsavory people like Smith and his Spartan Survival group are out there, and they’re planning to come for our supplies.

"Much like my high-level source within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security outlined in a series of interviews beginning last year, the orchestrated collapse of the U.S. dollar and the entire world’s economic system has begun. The first shots in a global economic take-over were fired in Cyprus as my esteemed colleague and founding editor of Canada Free Press, Judi McLeod laid out in frank detail in her column yesterday. Please read it and heed her advice, or suffer the consequences of your own normalcy bias that such an event will not happen in the United States, Canada, or from wherever you might be reading this. It will, and the plan appears to be on schedule for a shot across the bow later this spring here in the West, with a more aggressive take-over starting sometime this fall, according to my source.

The Plan:

To those needing a quick refresher, the plan is quite simple and can be summarized by the Clinton-era quip attributed to political strategist James Carville, “the economy, stupid” and the June 9, 2010 statement by former Obama czar Van Jones, Socialist extraordinaire, “top down, bottom up, inside out.” It is a plan for a one world Communist economy where the “middle class” will be wiped out through a series of events that will have the same ultimate effect as we are seeing in present day Cyprus.

Based on the events in Cyprus, it should be quite clear to even the most vocal critic of the legitimacy of the information provided to me by my source within the DHS as published on this web site is no longer at issue. The U.S. dollar, the backbone of world currencies and the proverbial firewall preventing the erosion of our national sovereignty, is the ultimate target of a takedown by the global banking interests controlled by a handful of banks and families of the “royal elite.”

The plan for a global currency or a one world economic order is a matter that transcends political parties. Those who continue to argue in the Republican-Democrat meme are doing nothing more than providing entertainment to distract people from the real issue, that of the global elite versus the rest of us. The top of the pyramid in this Ponzi scheme is filled with members of both U.S. political parties who are systematically pillaging us and our future generations into financial debt, bondage and slavery. It is a plan that has been in the works for centuries. The problem, however, is that we have been conditioned not to think that big. Yet, the lie is that big.

The parties:                                    

Our current financial situation was not bred out of incompetence, but by design. The occupancy of Barack Hussein Obama as the putative President of the United States was a plan in the making long ago, to usher in this oppressive system where we will be left at the mercy of the global ruling class. It is not by accident that we have been prevented from knowing exactly who this man is, from the controversy of his birth records to his college transcripts and even his social security number. Contrary to what the state-controlled media wants you to believe, these questions have never been answered with any measure of authenticity.

For example, does anyone honestly believe that it is merely a coincidence that Obama’s alleged mother, Stanley Ann Dunham-Soetoro, just happened to work with Timothy Geithner’s father, Peter Geithner, at the Ford Foundation in Indonesia? Is it reasonable to believe that the Republican party had no knowledge of the background of Barack Hussein Obama? Yet not one word from the Republican establishment as they not only watched, but facilitated the takeover of the United States from within. As I’ve written before, our nation is a captured operation.

The plan was set into motion long ago, stemming back to the founding of the United States and the temporary resistance to the central banking system. In 1913, the creation of the Federal Reserve set the countdown clock in motion for the complete subjugation of the United States to the interests of the global bankers and the global elite. The secret supra-governmental cabals such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission worked behind the scenes, under the cover provided by the complicit media, to bring us to this point in history. Perpetual wars were induced to occupy the masses while the chess pieces were placed into their current positions. We are now about to pay the price for our inability or unwillingness to confront the establishment and incremental advancements leading to our own demise.

According to the most recent information provided to me from my source within the Department of Homeland Security known as “Rosebud,” the final preparations are being made to deploy heavily armed federalized forces onto the streets of America. They will be deployed under the pretext of “restoring and maintaining order from the chaos brought about by the economic collapse,” adding that “many will demand and embrace their deployment on the streets of America. They will get what they ask for, and more.“

Much like the security theater we have seen following the attacks of 9/11, we will be subjected to the jack-booted control of a federal army whose allegiance is not to the American people, but to the very architects of the chaos.

“This is the reason that drones are flying over U.S. cities and farmland, and gun control legislation is on the fast track for complete implementation,” stated this source. “How can people look at the situation in Cyprus and not think it won’t happen here? It will, and the blowback will be unlike this country has ever seen. Surveillance, disarming the public, and conditioning the people to believe it’s for their own safety is and has been  part of the plan all along. Anyone owing a gun will be demonized and described as contributing to the problem.”

“What happens when the middle class loses much of their wealth, or it is confiscated, by the stroke of a pen or a keyboard? What will the stores look like when people, unprepared due to the damn lies of the corporate media and the shills for the ruling elite, run to empty out everything they can get their hands on as the world, as they know it, collapses around them?”

It was during my most recent contact with my source yesterday that he admitted that the situation will be blamed not on the bankers and the elected leaders who are raping us of our wealth and buying power, but on “right-wing, gun-toting Conservative ‘militia’ groups who believe that the situation is orchestrated.”  And, of course, it is orchestrated.

“There is no Republican-Democrat argument to be made anymore. It’s all political theater to keep the majority of the masses occupied while the true enemy has already captured both parties,” he added. “They are all in on it, either knowingly or unwittingly, the takeover, that is. And it’s getting harder to believe that there are any who are unwitting accomplices at this point.”

“When the curtain is pulled back to reveal the true agenda of a single digital world currency, the people who have been yelling the loudest about such ‘conspiracy theories’ will be specifically singled out and demonized. They will be blamed for causing the panic we will see, and of course, dealt with by the army we asked for, accepted and even tolerated.”

“Get your money out of the banks.Due to an “emergency deal reached today in Brussels”,  a one-time 9.9% tax is to be levied on Cypriot bank deposits of more than 100,000 euros effective Tuesday, March 19.

Virtually overnight and with no warning of any kind,  the emergency tax deal was imposed on the people of Cyprus without vote or debate.  People ran to ATM machines today only to discover that the taxed amount of their cash had already been frozen.

Monday in Cyprus is a national holiday, the first day of Greek Orthodox Easter.

Nor is this emergency only inflicted upon the so-called rich as even deposits under 100,000 euros will now be taxed at 6.7%.

“If it can happen in Cyprus, it can happen anywhere,” worried British correspondent Anna Grayson told Canada Free Press (CFP) in an overseas telephone call today.

“Is this why the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has purchased millions of hollow point bullets, is this why rumors of an underground bunker being built for Obama are circulating?”

The bottom line of the Cyprus story is that politicians are forcing a new 10 billion euro bailout—to be paid directly from the bank accounts of ordinary people.

The people of Cyprus, most of whom never saw this coming,  never had a chance.  Without social media they would not have known their accounts were frozen as of today.

People poured into the streets, making a run on ATM machines.  A crowd of around 150 protesters massed in front of the presidential palace late in the afternoon at the beginning of the three-day religious holiday on the island. 

Cyprus is the fifth country to seek a bailout following Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Spain but the terms of the deal are a radical departure from previous schemes.

No one will escape the bailout deal which will apply to everyone from pensions to Russian oligarchs, who are alleged to have billions stashed away in what officials claim is a bloated Cypriot banking sector. (Sky News, March 16, 2013).)

The blueprint laid by cunning EU Socialist finance ministers comes at a time when the USA is being led by a Socialist president.

This is how the EU robbed the people of Cyprus:

Banks first cooperated with the EU by sealing off the amount of the proposed levy—a 6.75 percent tax on deposits under €100,000 and 9.9 percent on those above —making it impossible for depositors to access their full amount.  The only means bank customers have left is the ability to draw from the rest of their funds via ATM machines this weekend. Many depositors made their way to the machines on Saturday to drain their accounts.  But the few banks that opened on Saturdays did so only briefly, and no international transfers will be able to go through until Tuesday, with Monday being the holiday. Cyprus’ Parliament is expected to meet Sunday to pass the required legislation., or after the deed was done. The deal also needs the approval of several eurozone parliaments; at the time of writing it was unclear how fast they can act and what will happen to bank deposits in the meantime.

What’s happening in Cyprus should send a chill over the entire world.

Politicians working with complicit big banks need no rule of law; no parliament debates to close in on the bank accounts of average people.

Get your money out of the banks wherever you are, and do it as soon as possible.
