Servants First

My Status is the same as always.
I'm here (on this Earth) to serve Jesus and Others.
I know that my words may be somewhat severe, but I always speak them with the truest of motives. I Love all of you enough to speak the things that I truly believe will help all know how best to live as the Lord wants us to. I am always open to any Ideas that can be backed up first by the Word of God, second by true moral standards, or third by undisputed historic/scientific evidence.
I've served in the military to defend everyone's Right to Speak their own Minds and Beliefs. I don't, and you don't, have to agree with all I purport to be True.
Debate is one of my favorite forms of conversation, better than surrounding myself with "yes men".

The Leaders of Our country today have seemed to do just the opposite. By surrounding themselves, with "Yes men. yes women, yes media and yes apologist", we hear nothing but repeated lies and whacked out Ideas made up by the president and perpetuated thru out our society these days.

By following these Simple rules that I use to validate my beliefs, the leaders of today would make much better decisions, about everything, whether they hold my religious beliefs or not.

You don't have to be a Christian to benefit from ALL the Moral teachings of the Bible. There are no teachings of Jesus contrary to moral Law from anywhere in America, unless you really believe you can change right from wrong. The so-called leaders of today, typically leading from behind, don't seem to even possess even the slightest of morals or intestinal fortitude. From the "Coward in Chief" to the lowest member in Congress (with the possible exclusion of Ted Cruz), even the veterans after the ilk of McCain, seem to have Zero accountability to The People of These United States or Any Higher Power. We in these States that understand that the entire basis of this country's existence is, and always has been, based on "CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES" have no President representing us. It seems that Ubama represents only himself and his whacked out socialist ideology. The President Is supposed to be a Servant of the People of the People. His Leadership is to inspire others to do the Will of the People. This he does not do. Personally, I believe that the best Leaders have been in the Military or in real public service(Dr's, Police, Firefighters, etc...) not community organizers or career Politicians. The founding Fathers would be appalled at the politicians living in office I'm Sure. They get there and completely forget the reality of living in and for this country and people,IF they ever did know these things. Term limits are a must. Thank You All.

If there is ever anything I can do to explain the Bible or my Beliefs to help you out, just ask. I will do my best to use Bible to interpret Bible and back up my beliefs.
The Lord has truly blessed me with the time to repent and come back into His service, of that I am Eternally Thankful. I pray not only for You all, but the whole World, without ceasing.
May God Richly Bless you, my Beloved.

Game Over

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama argued foreign policy in the final 2012 presidential debate in Boca Raton Fl.  Romney looked like a solid, strong American Commander in Chief, while Obama resembled an ageing hippie college professor wannabe enraged at having his beliefs successfully debunked in public.

Obama insulted Romney, speaking to him in patronizing fashion while mocking his stance on defense cuts: “I think 4063608726?profile=originalGovernor Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time looking at how our military works. You mentioned the navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets because the nature of our military's changed.”

Then Obama became truly condescending when he said “There are these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines.  The question is not a game of Battleship, where we’re counting ships, it’s what are our capabilities”.

So Obama apparently believes that Mitt Romney, someone who also graduated from Harvard, who also just happens to have earned both a business and a law degree, doesn’t know what aircraft carriers and submarines are.

In short, Obama’s performance was crude and un-presidential.

Not unusual for the narcissist in chief, the words “I”, “me” and “mine” seemed to come out of his mouth every four or five seconds.

Despite numerous assertions by the likes of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and other card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, the night was won by Romney when Obama, instead of offering viable answers to serious questions posed by Moderator Bob Schieffer, angrily attacked Romney with red herring arguments.  To which Romney replied: “Attacking me is not an agenda”.

That moment laid waste to the entire Obama re-election strategy, which was to attack Romney with viscous smears and repeated false accusations in hopes the damage inflicted would set Romney so far back in the polls he could never recover.

Unfortunately for “the smartest man in the world” and his hatchet wielding political henchmen, the strategy has completely backfired.  Going into the last two weeks of the race their campaign is borrowing money, while Romney is financially poised to blanket swing states with political ads favorable to him.  Ads that reflect the calm, cool, thoughtful, caring individual American voters witnessed in the debates.  The man who stands in stark contrast to the phony Romney portrait the Obama campaign intentionally painted.

Naturally, because “progressives” are so tolerant and open minded, Obama supporters are still threatening to riot and assassinate Romney.

Not the least bit surprising, after the debate was over Chris Matthews claimed that support for Romney is fueled by race hatred.

Once one team starts taking cheap shots and committing flagrant fouls, it is a sure sign they have lost and the game is over.

4063606751?profile=originalObama’s election firewall is melting like a house of wax all over America.  States like Florida, Virginia, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin where President Obama’s election machines had once appeared impregnable are now crumbling.  What is even more telling is that Ohio, the battleground of all battleground states is now fast becoming Obama’s possible Waterloo.

According to many recent national polls, including results from Fox News Poll that was released Friday, October 19th, Obama’s lead over Republican challenger Mitt Romney is narrowing.  The president’s former lead of 49-42 percent from late September has dwindled to 46-43 percent.  What appears even clearer is that the president’s second debate performance, while well scripted at how to be evasive and fact challenged, and has not slowed Romney’s growing momentum.

The growing White House cover up of how U.S. ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and 3 other Americans were murdered on September 11th  at the American consulate in Benghazi is taking center stage.  As more and more intelligence documentation, real time videos, and congressional documents are made public a bizarre and tragic web of deceit is being unearthed.

The White House and the president’s campaign have stepped up their visits to Ohio and other battle ground states as well as their attacks on Romney.  Their hope is that voters would ignore the facts that these murders were avoidable and preventable.  But on Monday October 22nd, the last presidential debate should bring the truth of the Benghazi scandal and the unraveling of the administration’s stonewalling into America’s living rooms.

The presidential election stakes are much, much higher now.  Now the White House narrative and tangled terrorist assault storylines are unraveling, thanks to the recent congressional hearings on Capitol Hill. Its gets even worse.  President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are now telling competing versions of the Libyan murders’ timeline.

Timing is everything, and with Foreign Affairs being on the table for the last debate, the White House is on lock down.  It is refusing to honor requests for documents from congress that detail what the president knew, when he knew it and what action did he take. Fear that truth of possible evidence being covered up concerning pre and post attack terrorist activity by the White House could prove an administration cover up is in play.

What evidence could the administration be afraid of providing congress and the American voter before the election?  Could it be proof that Ambassador Stevens desperately sent request after request to the State Department for more security, while terrorists linked to al-Qaeda steadily increased their attacks and assaults as late as August on the consulate?

Could it be evidence that the President decided to ignore in-person daily Security Council briefing.  Will White House meetings records reveal that he either golfed or attended entertainment and Hollywood fundraisers on the lead up to the anniversary of the most horrific terrorist attack in the nation’s history?

What is so important in the timeline which lead up the murders in Benghazi that Obama is afraid that voters will discover?  What the administration possibly fears can be found in the recent Fox News video concerning the timeline that led up to the Benghazi tragedy.   ( Read More )

4063605399?profile=originalWith the continuing furor erupting concerning the highly partisan nature displayed by Candy Crowley during the second presidential debate, the real question has evaded the American voter.  Who is truly responsible for acts of journalistic misconduct and what should be done when a debate moderator decides to go rogue, as Crowley did in favoring Obama?

The Commission on Presidential Debates is the organization which sponsors the presidential and vice presidential debates and it claims that these debates will be conducted in “a professional and nonpartisan manner.”  What happens when the journalist moderator interjects herself into the debate, in order to blunt a candidate’s momentum, as Crowley did to republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney?

Presidential Debate Commission Rules:

(c) With respect to all questions...

(iv) The moderator will not ask follow-up questions or comment on either the questions asked by the audience or the answers of the candidates during the debate or otherwise intervene in the debate except to acknowledge the questioners from the audience or enforce the time limits,

Crowley deliberately and intentionally broke the agreed upon rules, and decided as Obama has decided during the course of his administration, that rules don’t apply and the ends justify the means.

So, what recourse do the American people have when a journalist is selected who openly ignores the rules in conducting the debate and in comments leading up to the debate?  What happens when the journalist moderator interjects herself into the debate, in order to blunt a candidate’s momentum, as Crowley did to republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney?

The easy answer is to say; simply that Republicans and GOP candidates who are the favorite targets of biased coverage in the mainstream media should just grit their teeth and bare it.  But that is not what the American public needs to see or should have to endure.  If a presidential debate commission purports to field “unbiased reporters” who are going to be fair and balanced moderators, then failing to do so should result in a penalty, and or permanent suspension of the reporter and their affiliated network from future participation in debates.

According to the national Verified Voting Foundation, in 2012 there are approximately 180,802,372 registered voters in America.  Voters are entitled to see a debate that is free from a moderator who appears to purposely steer a debate, to benefit the incumbent president Obama. Crowley’s behavior becomes even more suspect when one considers that Obama was increasingly losing ground to the republican challenger Mitt Romney.

Did CNN senior political reporter Candace Crowley conduct herself in a professional and nonpartisan manner?  Examine her earlier statement, when she announced that she would evade and ignore the professional rules of journalistic conduct, and inject herself into the presidential debate if and when she saw fit. So one has to question, who judges the moderators when moderators declare that they are above the rules as Crowley did?

It’s possible that the American people can supply the answer. ( Read More )

Debate Highlights “progressive” Way

4063602810?profile=original

Obama lied about his response to the Libyan attack.  The day following the 9/11 anniversary terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, he did not state from the White House rose garden that it was a terrorist attack.

He blamed it on an unknown video.

As did White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; which was followed by UN ambassador Susan Rice repeating the same lame excuse five times in one day on the Sunday morning television political talk show circuit.  This was done again by Obama in a speech he gave to the UN general assembly, where he blamed the video six times and never once called the incident a terrorist attack.

Everyone knows the Obama administration, in a desperate attempt to obscure its foreign policy failures and defray responsibility for the deaths of four Americans including America’s ambassador to Libya, spent weeks blaming a heretofore unknown anti-Islamist internet video trailer for the violence.

Candy Crowley exceeded the limitations placed on the moderator when she stuck her nose where it did not belong by openly siding with Obama’s claim.  Meanwhile Obama’s wife violated the rules by aggressively leading the studio audience in applause when Crowley interrupted on behalf of her flailing, visibly struggling husband.

Never mind that Crowley gave Obama nine percent more time than was given to Mitt Romney.  Forget that she interrupted Romney twenty eight times.

How can media bias in America be ignored when every moderator for the debates has been a member of the institutionalized “progressive” left’s Obama cheerleading machine?

Obama lied about oil, gas and coal production.  Permits for oil drilling on public land have been reduced by over fifty percent since Obama seized power in 2008.  Attempts to produce natural gas on public lands have been obstructed.  Coal production has been demonized and prevented.  Energy prices have increased notably, especially the doubling of gasoline prices at the pump.

Romney dismantled the idea that a second Obama term would lead to economic recovery by noting the failure left in the wake of Obama’s broken campaign promises.  Obama did not cut the deficit in half, he doubled it.  He has not reduced the national debt, he has added over $6 trillion to it.  Obama’s policies have not stimulated the economy.  After spending $878 billion on non-existent shovel ready projects that turned out to be financial bailouts for fiscally irresponsible blue states, in 2012 GDP is growing slower than in 2011, and in 2011 it grew slower than in 2010.  At this point in his presidency the tax rate reduction policies of Ronald Reagan, which inspire Romney’s financial plans, had created 7.2 percent economic growth.  GDP growth is over six percent slower today than it was under Reagan.

The Frank Luntz focus group showed a huge swing in Romney’s favor by a group that was comprised of undecided voters who largely voted for Obama in 2008.  A similar MSNBC panel had a similar response.

And in true “progressive” form, the debate resulted in a flurry of assassination threats against Romney on Twitter.

Big Bird and the Joker

4063599234?profile=originalWho needs debates between candidates when you can have cartoon character distractions?

First there was Barack Obama, who did so poorly in his first debate with GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney that he and his campaign resorted to focusing on saving Big Bird and Sesame Street from spending cuts.

Next, there was Joe Biden auditioning to play the role of the Joker in a Batman show at Universal City Hollywood.

Biden showed he is a real natural.

His innate ability to bully, muster condescending goofy faces, to laugh, smirk, constantly interrupt, grimace, or chuckle while very serious topics were being discussed showed that when it comes to being a Court Jester, Biden is more than ready to play prime time.

Sorry SNL.

Some believe Biden’s performance in the October 11th VP debate was a win for “progressive” Democrats, because it dominated the post-debate conversation.

That perspective is a clear sign of how panicked “progressives” and their parroting lapdogs within the institutionalized “progressive” left and the ultra-obedient “progressive” Party Pravda are.

If the best they can point to is a sitting Vice President making stupid, animated faces in reaction to nearly everything Congressman Paul Ryan said, they are desperately grasping at straws.

Talk about drawing inappropriate conclusions.

An “expert” named Jerry Shuster, a University of Pittsburgh professor, claimed that Biden’s painfully rude, childish behavior helped him control the agenda.

Would it have helped Biden control the agenda had he worn tights, ridden a unicycle and juggled chainsaws?4063599324?profile=original

Shuster also said Biden’s inexplicably condescending body language was an important strategic move because it kept Ryan off stride.

Of course, having al Qaeda terrorists launch a sophisticated 9/11 terrorist attack complete with rocket propelled grenades and mortars, one that murders four people, would have kept Ryan off stride.  Especially if Biden stuck to the now fully discredited story that it sprang from a spontaneous protest to a video so obscure nobody had heard of it until the White House used it as an excuse to cover up its own incompetence.

Oh wait, Biden did stick to that story during the debate.

Of course, if in the eyes of “progressive” Democrats all it takes to win a debate is cutting off your opponent while speaking, a human clown is not even necessary.

An embarrassingly flatulent gorilla would suffice.

Certainly either launching a terrorist attack or introducing a large primate suffering major digestive discomfort would throw an opponent off stride during a debate.

Serious experts agreed that Ryan was successful in his first outing on the national debate stage.  His performance against a man 27 years his senior showed that his command of foreign and domestic policies will make him a credible, acceptable Vice President.

And if after he loses his job as Vice President Biden loses out in his bid to play the Joker, perhaps his ability to cackle will help him win a job playing the wicked witch of the west in a Wizard of Oz show.

Romney in Big Trouble

4063591950?profile=original

Following the first presidential debate on October 3rd between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, one in which Romney repeatedly scored and Obama appeared lost, annoyed and disinterested; pundits, pollsters and political junkies alike unanimously declared Mitt Romney as the winner.

Obama, a long time card carrying member of the self-proclaimed institutionalized “progressive” left intellectual elite, was not simply one step ahead of the opposition.  He was so extremely clever he completely tricked, baffled and befuddled his own supporters.

What the entire watching world missed was, Obama’s apparently dismal failure in the Denver, CO debate was a well-planned, strategic, flawlessly executed tactic.

Barack Obama, being so much smarter than everyone else, thoroughly fooled the masses with his deliberately debased debate debacle.

His performance was so convincing that even Bill Maher and Chris Matthew swallowed the bait hook, line and sinker.  Maher, who has put lots of his own money behind Obama, bemoaned on Twitter “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter”.  Matthews was beside himself, tormenting himself by wondering aloud why the real Obama failed to show up for the verbal tussle.

You would think nobody had ever heard of Muhammad Ali shockingly conquering George Foreman in the historic Rumble in the Jungle.

This must have been Obama’s strategy going into the debate, to strategically pattern the three debates after the world famous Ali-Foreman heavyweight championship bout.  Play rope-a-dope and intentionally allow the opponent to attack, all the while knowing your adversary will tire and his skills will eventually wane.

For Barack Obama, who as demonstrated by his actions in office clearly considers himself vastly intellectually superior to even his White House predecessors, much less his backwards thinking Conservative yokel opponent, there can be no other explanation.

Romney: Attack to Win

America’s 2012 deficit has surpassed the already outrageous and immoral deficit of 2011.  Despite hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghani veterans not yet receiving their VA health care benefits Barack Obama has increased spending on foreign aid by 80 percent.

Where is that foreign aid going?  How much of it will fund America’s so-called allies in Libya, Egypt or Pakistan?  What portion of taxpayer’s money will end up in the hands of jihadists who posted threats on Facebook before their well-planned, coordinated 9/11 consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya; an assault that resulted in the death of four unprotected Americans?   Or will that money somehow end up in the coffers of 4063589281?profile=originalthe al Qaeda terrorists who bombed that same consulate twice in the weeks preceding the assault?

After repeated requests for increased security measures, why was the Benghazi consulate left unprotected by the Obama administration’s Departments of State and Defense?

If Benghazi is so unsafe that the entire U.S. staff has been pulled out, and the well trained, well equipped FBI cannot enter to investigate the “crime scene”, why were the U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans sent there?

Why is the Obama administration acting in full blown denial of al Qaeda and other elements of Islamofascism being alive and well and influential in the Middle East and North Africa?

With the Muslim Brotherhood in control of Egypt’s government, Egyptian women legitimately fear they will see their rights diminished.  In Afghanistan, where the Taliban and al Qaeda are patiently waiting out the pre-announced withdrawal of America’s armed forces, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s pledge to Afghani women that America will not abandon them and their rights is skating on thin ice.

At a meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York a senior North Korean diplomat warned that North and South Korea are 'on the verge of nuclear war'.

Feeling safer now that Obama’s policies of appeasement are in full bloom?

On the home front, while America speeds towards a fiscal cliff that will throw the economy into a double dip recession and lead to huge tax increases, the Obama administration coerced Lockheed Martin into dropping plans to issue legally required layoff notices to employees in the swing state of Virginia.  The Office of Management and Budget promised Lockheed Martin that the government would pay the legal costs if Lockheed was charged with violating the WARN Act.  That means taxpayers will get stuck with the bill for the Obama administration’s encouraging Lockheed Martin to break the law.

Meanwhile, the nanny state and the nanny state mentality continue to “evolve”.  Now, the government has 4063589149?profile=originalplans to “urge” parents to pattern their family dinners after school lunches.  Since when is it the government’s job to use American children to dictate dinner table fare to parents?

Two more U.S. Border Patrol agents have been shot.  In what may turn out to be a replay of the Brian Terry catastrophe, one died.  In what the Obama administration will certainly describe as an “isolated incident”, Fast and Furious weapons were found in the possession of a Juarez drug cartel leader.

The healthcare reform law, which was sold on the promise that middle income families would see their premiums reduced by $2,500, has caused them to rise by $3,000.  For each and every middle income family, that is a harsh $5,500 reality being imposed upon their already falling incomes.  In addition, private property owners now face a new Federal Surtax to help pay for Medicare…and hospitals now face new fines for readmitting Medicare patients “too quickly”.  How “too quickly” is defined will be determined by an unelected, unaccountable oligarchy in Washington DC; not the hospital, not the doctor, not the patient.

Low and Middle incomes have fallen sharply since Obama took office.  The reckless spending of Obama and members of his “progressive” body politic ensures it is only a matter of time before middle income families see their taxes rise.

In the face of this evidence, Americans are expected to believe that Mitt Romney is the one who is out of touch and hostile to the interests of America’s middle class?

In such a target rich environment, Mitt Romney should attack Barack Obama’s policies and record in a grand, sweeping, big picture, presidential fashion.  By doing so, Romney will be able to draw a clear distinction between his plans for America and Obama’s.  By employing this strategy, Romney stands to win considerably more than the October 3rd debate in Denver, Colorado.

From the Desk of The Exceptional Conservative

One of the great times of my life and my living is Election season.  I have great love for politics and economics.  As a conservative, my passions for these blood sports led me to join the ACNation Radio Network and found the Exceptional Conservative Show.  I wanted to bring the "movers and shakers" that I meet daily in Washington, DC live to you.  I wanted to do this without the filter of the Lame Stream Media or Cable Stations that Represent the Inside the Beltway Establishment Opinion.  The Big Picture of politics and economics is often skewed when left in the capable hands of those that hope the GOP get a Grand Wizard like the DNC or that a Republican pundit believes that "our blacks are better than their blacks."  As one whom professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, I know the power of eye-witnessing.  In the Court of Public Opinion, it is merely enough to see or hear an allegation as to validate its truth and execute swift justice.  In the Courts of Law, where God has vested the expoloration of justice amongst human beings, it is with meekness that we craft our understandings and humility that we apply our knowledge.  Any wisdom offered apart from Divine Inspiration makes for foolish merriment and destructive behavior among men.  Unless duly changed by a wicked and vain legislature, Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and Oregon will express their consent of whom would best represent them in the White House effective January 2013.  I wish to encourage those that follow the soap opera known as the GOP Presidential Campaign to not lose focus on the true choices at hand.  At the lowest moments of our Nation's history, we need leaders that will not offer Infrastructure Banks as an example of action but offer the principles essential to rebuilding the main cog of economy--our people.

Let me make this plain for all of those following along at home. There are only two issues at stake.  The first issues is political and Constitutional in its essential nature.  Issue One (Thank you, Mr. McLaughlin!): Will I rule my life or will the government run it for me?  Issue Two: If we keep spending, things will get and be better (Keynes) or We need to put the brakes on spending, return to 2008 budget assumptions and cut taxes and regulations (Hayek).  Either you support the US Constitution, are a free-market, free enterprise conservative or you are not.  I need to know (Thank you, Marc Anthony!).  For those that get a thrill up their leg because of the rise and fall of candidates, you need to get a clue.  It's the GAME!  You are watching displays of people at the height of their political careers presenting themselves and their beliefs to a people with the power to turn the channel in a moments notice if any bad news is received.  This American Idol presentation of classical liberalism and progressiveness demands a level of critique that seems to fail the group of pundits that are hired to make such observations.  It seems that the GOP Establishment and their Media pundits have bought hook line and sinker the mythical Barack Obama.  They still see the Barack Obama before the Columns in open celebration.  They hear his voice before the crowds of European liberals and socialists.  His ability to profound the Media with eloquent bluster and synchronicity of verve and pageantry has left many suffering from "Shock and Awe" syndrome.  His abilities were so heightened by God that he was deemed the Messiah by some and by others merely the Second Coming.  As he ascended to title and eminence, those that suffered beneath his policies were more quickly willing to subdue their common sense for the hopes that were promised:

Dude, do you seriously think that after only 6 months obama can magically raise the number of jobs? We need time and cooperation two things the GOP doesn't want to give. Instead, they criticize and put fear into idiot's minds.

Ape-Man Discovery in South Africa
Might Make Perry
Into Foolish Fuddy-Duddy

You might ask what the link and headline above have to do with the price of tea in China or politics in the United States?   Perhaps more than immediately meets the eye . . . .
A noted anthropologist's child recently stumbled onto something "earth-shaking" which has now been named Australopithecus sediba or the "Southern Ape" as a nickname.  If ever there was an actual missing link:  this appears to be it.
These Australopithecus sediba fossils (young male and older female) are dated to just short of 2 million years old and mark the first and only time that such a fossil has been labeled as both a hominid (highly advanced ape) and a hominin (of direct human lineage) by responsible anthropologists.
The discovery was made in South Africa far, far from where Louis Leakey’s “Lucy” (Australopithecus afarensis dated to 3.2 million years ago and apparently a hominid ancestor of this recent discovery) was first discovered. Hominids like gorillas; chimpanzees; our closest living relative, the bonobo (sometimes called a "pygmy chimp"), and their extinct ancestors have been dated to roughly 6 million years ago.  No scientist is yet calling these Australopithecus sediba fossils the long-sought "missing link."  They tend to shy away from such “bold” labeling for a good twenty years after key discoveries are made, but it certainly could make Charles Darwin smile . . . what about the price of tea; or the fate of TEA Parties?
On the contemporary front, while Texas governor Rick Perry (G.O.P. Presidential contender) performed decently in his first presidential debate and at this point looks very much like the eventual G.O.P. standard-bearer in 2012 . . . Ol' Rajjpuut suspects Mr. Perry is going to keep having the echoes of his "personal debate" with a ten-year old New Hampshire child coming back to haunt him.

You may remember that the kid instigated by his Mom, asked Perry about the age of the earth and about "Evolution" and was lectured by the governor who said that "It was a theory that had a lot of gaps in it."  Mr. Perry, unfortunately for Constitutional-conservatives/fiscal conservatives is clearly what's known as a social-conservative.  Mr. Perry was more than disingenuous with the child.  Yes, Governor, there are gaps in a lot of scientific knowledge, but anyone who takes the Bible 100% literally (they say it all happened precisely as written including 7-day creation in 7 24-hour days exactly where intelligent people might say that to God a day might be 1.5 billion years long or whatever) and insist upon Creationism being taught in high school biology classes in public schooling is probably not worth our votes.  Well, Mr. Perry, this discovery might well rule out 99% of the serious gaps.  We're not talking about bull-shi_ like so-called "global warming" here, Charles Darwin was a serious and thoughtful scientist and he had worlds of evidence for his beliefs about the Origin of the Species.

The seemingly-unending problem with the Republican Party is that they persistently ignore the stuff that 70% of Americans can agree upon (smaller, less-intrusive federal government; lowest taxes possible; following the Constitution; necessary defense and border control; and fiscal responsibility that includes NOT bankrupting the future for our children and grand children) and persist in sounding like people who want to shove their religions down our throats (Christmas carols in PUBLIC schools where Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics and believers in Herman the Carrot God attend alongside Christians), and like they totally lack compassion; and that they want to interfere in everybody's bedroom activities.  One fact dooms them to not being able to turn this country around:
Most sensible voters distrust social-conservatives . . . .

For example, social-conservatives are typically 100% anti-abortion.  First of all abortion is the law of the land for almost 40 years now.  More importantly IF you say that no abortion is ever allowed even for

                        rape victims
                        incest victims
                        very young girls
                        mothers whose lives are endangered

then you mark yourself as a fanatic who believes that our God-given brains are not to be used to make life better; a madman who doesn't believe in human free agency/free will.  For at least 30 years this matter has been widely-polled among American voters and without fail the results are the same:  59% believe that 100% anti-abortionism is just plain WRONG!   And that rape and incest victims and very young girls who are pregnant and mothers whose lives are endangered should have a choice.
These same polls have also consistently shown that 70% of Americans believe there are "too many abortions in America." So 70% of Americans are quite concerned about abortions and 59% of Americans believe it must come down to the woman’s choice and should be allowed in drastic circumstances like rape, etc. One more thing, since the consequences fall virtually 100% on women, we men ought to stay out of it, it is a woman's choice between her and her God.  When you have 59% of the voting public against your primary social-conservative stance, you will not get elected and you do not deserve to be elected . . . and if social-conservativism interferes, then the necessary good needing doing by fiscal- and Constitutional-conservatives cannot get done and the American future gets flushed down the toilet as the progressive mischief-makers (mostly from the Democratic Party but they’re found in both parties) keep getting elected and keep destroying our nation.
Mr. Perry did have one problem in the debate and that problem (Social Security) and the South African Ape-Man discovery might doom us all to four more years of Barack Obama’s incompetence unless Mr. Perry grows up. Mr. Perry correctly calls Social Security as it now stands a “Ponzi Scheme.” This is 100% accurate. Just as Ponzi swindlers take a lot of money from their victims and pay out relatively little, Social Security is fundamentally bankrupt right now. Mr. Perry needs to take his message to the people and explain it very well and explain why and how Social Security must be modified if it is to ever be a success for our children. He will not get a lot of help on this. Some of his fellow Republicans will intensely attack him for this honest, forthright stance.
What his Republican rivals will do to Mr. Perry’s position will be walk in the zoo compared to what the liberal media and the Democrats will assault him with. Mr. Perry needs to confine all future comments on Social Security to this more-easily defendable position.
A.     Social Security as it now stands is a Ponzi scheme and unless modified deeply, Social Security funding will not be there for our children and grandchildren.
B.    Social Security for those aged 50 and above should be left 95% untouched. Means-basing for the very rich recipients on Social Security is vital.
C.    Social Security’s present Ponzi nature becomes evident when we talk about those aged 49 and below. The program must be adjusted and modified greatly to insure that it is fiscally-sound for all such workers.
D.   Social Security was created back when the average American’s life span was 55 years of age and when the average American worker’s lifespan was 52 years of age (far more men than women fell under Social Security and women averaged about 59 years old at death). Today’s realities are that the average death age is closer to 85 than to 55; and that a lot more women are part of the work force. Any changes to Social Security must reflect these realities.
As far as Mr. Perry’s stance on evolution . . . Rajjpuut is reminded of the insurance fraud allowed to stand by a foolish judge. The “victim,” in a wheelchair was told by the insurance agent investigating the matter that he’d hound him till his death and would never be allowed to leave that wheelchair. The “victim” told him, “Fine but I intend to visit Mexico City and the site where the Virgin of Guadalupe encountered Mary. Don’t be surprised if a miracle takes place, my good man!” Mr. Perry needs to read up on human anthropology and on the theories about evolution and on this discovery in particular. It would be smart on the face of it; and super-smart if Mr. Perry were to “see the light.” Seeing the light means Mr. Perry probably ought to say,

“The scientists say the earth is 4.5 billion years old; I know nothing that disproves that. The very recent discovery of Australopithecus sediba fossils in South Africa looks like it might be what they used to call a “missing link.” If that’s so, It looks like Mr. Darwin was right and it looks like a day to God is a damn long time to us and the week of creation found in Genesis is a damn, damn, damn long time compared to a human’s lifespan.”

Mr. Perry further needs to educate Americans to the TEA Party’s “Contract for America.” This fiscal- and Constitutional Conservative (with absolutely ZERO social-conservativism in it) document may be the single greatest American political document since the Bill of Rights was added to the U.S. Constitution. The more Mr. Perry persists in attacking the dismal record of Barrack Obama and on pounding home the ten planks in this incredibly visionary Contract from America platform . . . the better off America will be.

If, ignoring all this sound advice, Mr. Perry persists in unscientific thinking he’ll be pushed out of thinking peoples’ minds as a foolish hick and we’ll get more and more of Barack Obama and it’ll be his fault. Grow up, Rick Perry, grow up!

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,
Rajjpuut
