“Unafraid, Bi-Partisan, Uphold U.S. and Freedom”

By Jiri and Leni Friedman Valenta

Paul! Mr. Speaker! Censure Obama and deny his request for a 18% pension pay hike! Since you came to power earlier this year, your Republican majority in the House has done virtually nothing to rescue our republic from the nightmare of Obama!  Incredibly, his audacious request for a pension pay hike follows his watching baseball and playing footsie with Cuban dictators Fidel and Raul Castro, and dancing the tango in Buenos Aires!

Barack is surely no master of the art of the deal. While we support the opening to Cuba, we do not believe we should lift the embargo until some of our demands are satisfied: We are not calling for regime change, but we do call for release of all political dissidents.  Also needed is persuasive proof, not yet provided by the Castros, that Hezbollah’s Islamic, Shiite, terrorist Cuba station, engaged in anti-U.S. and anti-Israel activities in the Western hemisphere, has been closed.

We also need monitoring of Cuban ties with North Korea, and assurances there will be no further illegal arms transfer through the Panama Canal or by any other route sea or air.  Cuba must also cease advising and arming the FARC narco-communist terrorists in Colombia.

The Castros must further guarantee Cuba will not try to interfere on behalf of the discredited Maduro government in Venezuela and hinder the process of democratization in that country.  And let us also demand that U.S. criminals taking refuge in Cuba be extradited to America.

The delusions of our president are unprecedented. As Americans, we were ashamed listening to his a-historical, apologetic cant as he stood with Raul and basically provided a public relations endorsement of its repressive communist regime. All this while human rights dissidents, like the innocent Ladies in White were repressed on his arrival; some thrown into in jail.

The Cuba Archive has documented 3,615 firing squad executions conducted by the Cuban state since Castro took over on January 1, 1959.  Most were done summarily.  There are disappearances as well. Former head of the Soviet Latin American desk, Yury Pavlov, author of the The Soviet Cuban Alliance,1959-61, told one of these authors, that Raul Castro's deputies enjoyed shooting live targets (prisoners) while laughing and having a good time.  In an interview with us, former prisoner Pedro Fuentes confirmed Pavlov's account  and described the torture in the jails.  Another prisoner,Jesus Chao, has fully detailed the stomach-turning,Castro horrors.

After listening meekly to Raul Castro address the "shortcomings" of the U.S., Obama applauded the "constructive dialogue." That was followed by our president broadcasting his passionless platitudes about the attack on our allies in NATO capitol Brussels. He knew many Americans were injured in the carnage, yet rather than coming home, he engaged in a pleasurable afternoon with two bloody dictators, responsible for killing thousands of Cuban patriots and innocent victims at home, but also during Cuba’s interventions in Angola and Ethiopia. Fidel also supported with arms and advisers, further carnage in Columbia, Nicaragua, El Salvador and elsewhere.

We call on you, Mr,. Speaker, to sponsor House resolutions as well as work with the Senate and its judicial giants, Senator Ted Cruz (R) Texas, and Senator Orin Hatch (R) Utah, to censure the president for aiding and abetting a foe of democracy -- and roundly propose a cut to his pension, rather than the 18% pension pay hike he has requested.

Mr. Obama’s repeated derelictions of duty could provide grounds for impeachment. Likely there is not enough time for that. Therefore let us register our dissatisfaction as we can. We are counting the days until the GOP takes takes over.

Watch for our full expose of Obama’s and Hillary's shameful performances coming soon.

The Tug of War for Cuba Begins

4064028843?profile=originalIn the midst of President Obama increasing Sanctions on Russia, he announces a prisoner exchange with Cuba.

While the media has focused on the idealogy of such a bold move by President Obama, they ignore
the current climate of America's relations with Russia.

Russia has been making their presense known in Cuba this past year, as confirmed by the Pentagon
in April. Lt. Col. Tom Crosson, a Pentagon spokesman stated "We are aware that the Russian ships
Viktor Leonov and Nikolay Chiker are currently operating in waters that are beyond U.S. territorial
seas but near Cuba”.

In July of this year, Russia re-opened their signals intelligence facility in Lourdes, south of
Havana which is just 155 miles from America after forgiving 90% of Cuba's unpaid Soviet-era debts,
which totalled $32billion.

Along with the prisoner exchange, President Obama is seeking to establish an Embassy in Havana and
ease sanctions with Cuba.

Right now President Reagan's Star Wars Program is looking pretty good. I just hope we win this
Tug-of-War.

As an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the U.S. Army(1974) and the U.S. Navy(1979) I fully support ALL of our Servicemen all over the globe. The embarrassment of having to serve under an Anti-American like Barry Obummer must be disheartening. My Prayers go out for all of you. Impeach Obama, NOW!

Also, The base in Guantanamo Bay,Cuba is now a Luxury Resort for the Islamic Terrorist there compared to the conditions We had back in 1977-78. We,the military stationed there then, had No A/C, NO access to Multiple TV stations, and rare calls to home from call centers only.

I say that the incarcerated Terrorist now there should stop the whining and be subjected to the same or worse conditions that our military was back then. Add in Hard Labor and no further outside communications and they won't want to get involved in terrorist activities quite as much again.

No more Desert Island Vacations for Terrorist anymore. Gitmo can be a Top Notch Rehab for them now.

Has Fidel Thrown Open the Path

for Raul to Discard Communism,

Embark upon Economic Reforms?

Following the publishing of a recent Atlantic magazine article, Spanish-language blogsites went absolutely crazy today. Rajjpuut’s translation and interpretation of a couple of them follows:

Ex-Cuban president Fidel Castro stunned readers of American magazine Atlantic and the whole Hispanic world as well when he admitted in an interview (which he’d apparently plotted for all along), “The Cuban economic model no longer works and never did work.” Speculation on numerous Spanish-language blogsites zeroed in largely on just one probability . . . . that Fidel was leaving the road open for his replacement, his brother Raul, to embark upon economic reform of Cuba and lead it away from communism. Among the most interesting features of the interview was the description of an apparently resurrected Fidel putting his recent brush with death aside and showing a return to some of his past vigor.

Among those most shocked by recent events were exiled Cubans, particularly Cuban entrepreneurs in Miami, greater Florida or elsewhere across the United States. Reading about the Jeff Goldberg interview with Fidel in Havana excited Florida Cubans tremendously, “This is NOT a regrettable attack of senility, Fidel Castro is really calling his regime “un fracaso” (a failure) and . . . he seems to really be talking about deep changes . . . not just superficial ones . . .” said Miami University Communications professor F. Rafael Lima. But Cuban-Americans unlike most of us, while shocked have more understanding of the situation. Most of them have been hoping since 1997 that Raul Castro’s trip to China and his exposure to China’s nascent capitalism would bear some sort of fruit. Of course, state-sponsored capitalism in China is not necessarily a harbinger of capitalism or greater freedom in Cuba, but right about now, most changes, hell, any change is considered a good thing for Cuba and potentially for Cuban-Americans.

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

Obama Approval Ratings Blaze New Territory;

Related or Unrelated?

Fidel Castro Communism’s "Not Working in Cuba"

Two surprising and even stunning events occurred today, September 9, 2010 and . . . which in a twisted but positive way, might even be related . . . . “After I’ve seen what I’ve seen and knowing what I know, it wasn’t worth it at all . . .” so said Fidel Castro during an interview while visiting a dolphin show as part of his apparent almost miraculous comeback to salubrious health. Hold on, Brother!

According to the father of Cuban communism, when asked whether old-style socialism in general and specifically the “Cuban Model” which he and Che Guevarra jointly created are appropriate for the rest of the world today, Fidel shocked the reporter and listeners with his unscripted response, “Para el mundo? No sirve aun para nosotros!” That is, “For the world? It doesn’t even work for us!” Castro even cast doubt upon the wisdom of the "Cuban missile crisis" efforts he'd made to gain notoriety back in October, 1962 . . . but that's another story . . . .

In a seemingly unrelated story, today for the first time ever, the Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll documented strong disapproval numbers for Barack Obama’s presidential performance over twice his strong approval ratings. In posting their highest overall negative ratings for Obama (-24%) Rasmussen reported a strong approval rating for Obama among only 23% of likely voters (tying his personal low) and a strong disapproval rating of 47% (tying his personal high). This is the single largest turnaround in Rasmussen history, an incredible shift of -54% remembering back to Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009, when Obama began with strong approval ratings of +45% exactly three times as high as his strong disapproval ratings of -15% giving him an overall approval of an amazing +30% at that time.

Rajjpuut would suggest that Fidel’s fellow traveler, Barack Obama, apply a bit of self-reflection and learn from that old, old dog’s newest trick and realize that besides the 120 million citizens of communist countries killed by their own country’s regimes, communism has never brought long-range economic success anywhere in the world . . .

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut
