Tea Party Express V: A Spiritual Thing

4063381640?profile=originalDear Patriots. I just completed a 17 day national bus tour across America on Tea Party Express V; two rallies per day. We began in Napa, CA and ended with a CNN Republican Presidential Candidates Debate in Tampa, FL.

Our crew included comedian/actors Jim Labriola from the sitcom “Home Improvement” and Victoria Jackson from “Saturday Night Live”. Gold Star mom Debbie Lee shared the story of her decorated son Marc Alan Lee, the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq.

Mr. Constitution, Mike Holler is author of the book “The Constitution Made Easy”. Singer Diana Nagy sang her original song, “Where Freedom Flies” during our military tribute. Talk show host, Radio Patriot, Andrea Shea King spoke and blogged on the tour. Eric Odom is one of the original founders of the Tea Party movement.

4063372710?profile=originalJudson Phillips is a powerful speaker, a major force in the movement and founder of Tea Party Nation. David Saucedo is a youth pastor and conservative rapper professionally known as Polatik. David is a brilliant young man of character who I predict will play a major role in turning around the youth of America.

These are just a few of the extraordinary people I traveled and enjoyed fellowshipping with on Tea Party Express V. Various presidential candidates spoke at our rallies; Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain and others.

But for me, the true stars of this tour and my five previous tours are the American people; committed tea party patriot foot soldiers who are doing the work and attending our rallies.

4063381653?profile=originalWhile I give 100% effort to entertain and inspire at each rally on every tour, Tea Party Express V was unique. I felt divinely inspired to “minister” to the patriots with my words, music and presentation; encouraging them to stay diligent in their efforts and to remain hopeful. I opened each rally energetically singing my original, “American Tea Party Anthem”. I closed every rally singing, “God Bless the USA”.

Extraordinarily and without planning to do so, I sang, “God Bless the USA” warm, tender and extremely heartfelt. The song became a prayer as many patriots wept at every rally. Praise God.

Also unique to this tour, I spontaneously asked patriots to pray for our country. Interestingly, my call for prayer is historically American. In 1774 when Britain's King George III ordered the port of Boston closed to punish Massachusetts “Rebels”, Richard Henry Lee helped to persuade the Virginia House of Burgesses to call for a day of “prayer” and “fasting”.

Tour highlights include the prayer I had in the back of the Tea Party Express Bus with three black conservative leaders in Michigan.

I was moved by the number of patriots who tearfully thanked me for my articles; serving as their voice.

4063375158?profile=originalAt our Tea Party Express rally in Providence, RI, a former Marine and his adult son thanked me for my articles. The father/son duo stood in the rain and wept along with others as I sang “God Bless the USA”. The three of us embraced as brothers in our love for the greatest nation on the planet. A warmth filled the air as I sang. During a musical interlude in the song, I commented to the audience, “Does this feel like hate to you?”

The moving moment illustrated the despicable evil and ridiculousness of Obama's minions saying tea partiers want to see black Americans “hung from a tree”.

Many patriots across America emotionally told me of their frustration with the liberal media's erroneous portrayal of the Tea Party and their burden to share the good-news of conservatism with black America.

4063381667?profile=originalWhile black attendance at the rallies is growing, the majority of the audiences are still white. The liberal media attempts to use this fact to prove the Tea Party is racist. I believe it proves the majority of black voters are racist, not the Tea Party. Every black I have spoken with at Tea Parties said they were in attendance because they took an honest look at Obama, the man and his policies rather than worshiping Obama's skin color. This is the behavior of honorable people; true patriots.

But, my most memorable encounter of Tea Party Express V tour is the elderly white woman using a walker who slowly and methodically made her way to me. With tears in her eyes, she said, “Mr. Marcus, I teach black children. What can I do to educate them to the truths in your articles?” Wow!

4063381712?profile=originalBrother and sister patriots, our extraordinary Tea Party movement is without a doubt divinely inspired. I say to you what I have said to patriots at approximately 30 rallies across America over the past two weeks; keep doing what you are doing, stay hopeful, trust God and pray for our country. We are growing and winning. We will defeat Barack Hussein Obama and the evil emanating from his administration come November 2012.

4063372710?profile=originalJim Labriola from the “Home Improvement” TV sitcom has been a wonderful addition to our Tea Party Express V national bus tour team. Jimmy's comedic family friendly monologues are a hit with the patriots at our rallies.

With most of Hollywood being hardcore liberals, conservative actor/comedian Jim Labriola is a breath of fresh air.

One of our two tour buses was under repair causing the twelve member administrative crew to pile on the entertainers bus for the two mile ride to the hotel. It was uncomfortable.

Jimmy spontaneously went into a hilarious monologue worthy of a Jim Labriola TV Special. My stomach contracted so much from laughter, I had a great ab workout. As corny as this might sound, we truly are a family on Tea Party Express. Jimmy masterfully used his gift of humor to bring us a little bit closer together.

Hey Jimmy, you should market an exercise video, “The Jim Labriola Ab Workout: Laugh Your Way to Great Abs”.

We just completed our Tea Party Express rally in Sioux City, IA. This morning I logged on my computer to read, “Obama: The Unemployed Are Being Discriminated Against”.

Obama and company never changes their play book to get-their-way. They always divide Americans into victimized groups saying they are either disenfranchised or discriminated against.

Last night, we arrived early enough in Omaha, NE for me to do laundry. The hotel washing machine was not working. The front desk sent a black tech to fix it. After solving the problem, he asked, “So, are you the driver of that bus?”

I explained my role on the Tea Party Express team. Obviously hostile, the big young black man subtly confronted me, “What are you people doing?” Clearly, he was a victim of the liberal media spin which says we are racist against a black president.

I shared with him what the tea party movement is REALLY about. The young black man was clueless about politics.

Listening intensely, he was like a sponge. Amazingly, he said, “I am beginning to see things differently”. Praise God!

God is tooooo cool. A broken washing machine lead to opening a young man's eyes.

4063372630?profile=originalPatriots, I pray that someone will sponsor and help organize a tea party tour to black colleges and communities. Misinformed blacks need to see and hear black conservatives such as Herman Cain, myself and others.

Libs Bucket of Unelectable Candidates List

4063338860?profile=originalI hate to keep sounding like a broken record on this topic, but I must ask. Is Michele Bachmann the NEXT Sarah Palin? Several patriots have said, “I adore Sarah Palin. But, she has been so destroyed in the media, she would be a disaster as our republican presidential candidate”.

Well to all of you who subscribe to this opinion, have you seen the shock and awe campaign launched by the liberal media to destroy Bachmann, since officially throwing her hat into the presidential ring a few days ago?

If Bachmann becomes our nominee, suddenly the liberal media will portray Sarah Palin as the far more reasonable candidate rather than the ultra-conservative idiot nut case, Michele Bachmann.

Should we kick Bachmann to the curb adding her with Palin on the list of unelectable candidates on our side; considered too toxic, too tea party and too conservative to win?

OK, what about Herman Cain? Surely, the liberal media won't attack a black candidate. Wrong! They have already begun making fun of the way Cain speaks. Jon Stewart spun a Cain joke to portray him as a idiot. http://bit.ly/iMKbEy

4063338744?profile=originalIf Cain wins the republican nomination, come election day, the liberal media will have branded Cain as the dumbest black man on the planet.

Libs will laugh while parroting the same mantra. “Can you imagine the nerve of those republicans running a stupid self hating Uncle Tom n***** against a brilliant man like President Obama?” It is not over the top to suggest libs will call Cain the “n” word. As a black conservative, they call me it frequently.

Since Cain's black skin will not exempt him from “liberal media destruction”, perhaps we should add Herman Cain to the unelectable list.

OK, who's next? Huntsman? Romney? Here is what the left will say about these guys BEFORE either wins the republican nomination, “They are more palatable than those tea party extremists”.

Folks, my point is whoever wins the republican presidential nomination will be relentlessly and viciously targeted for destruction by the liberal media/Democratic party. Obama is the left's Great Liberal Hope. Thus, they will attempt to politically terminate ANY contender.

The mindset that the tea party must select a liberal-lite milquetoast moderate to appease the liberal media and independents is absurd.

Back in the early 80's, I was clueless about politics. A reporter looked at me as if I had two heads when I told her I loved Reagan. I later learned that I was suppose to hate Reagan because I was black. Liberals told the black community republicans were the KKK without the sheets.

I told the puzzled reporter referring to Reagan, “Every time I hear this man speak, I feel good about myself and my country”.

Patriots, let's go for the gold and select an unapologetic conservative who will speak to ALL Americans without pandering to any group.

I believe there are enough decent Americans of all races who will see through the left's slander campaign; hear and respond to truth, justice and the American way. Quoting Michele Bachmann, “Obama WILL be a one term president”.

The GOP Field: An Educational Debate

I'm not a real big fan of debates but the GOP debates in New Hampshire have been a good showcase of Conservative thought.  We don't have a perfect candidate, and we will never will.  But the combination of Constitutional conservatism, economic savvy, historical context, and fresh Patriotic fervor is like a symposium on the role of government, and what it means to have faith in freedom and the free market.

Pawlenty seems a little stiff.  Newt is still a great intellect and, although he will hang up his campaign coat soon, adds a comprehensive understanding of aspects of American government.  Romney is a little redundant, rehashing many of his recent speeches.  But he appears to be the solid "fix the economy" candidate.  Michelle Bachmann looks strong.  I would like to hear more from her.  Santorum is passionate and unwavering, a fresh face.  Herman Cain is an audacious advocate for capitalism.  He has a certain "elder statesman" quality.  He is the experienced one in the house.  Cain has detailed ideas plans to answer the questions about Obamacare, Medicare insolvency, and jobs creation.  Cain is unequivocal about his opposition to allowing Sharia law to influence American law.

The audience seems very in tune with the economic issues.  The debt limit is being discussed in-depth.  Every one of the GOP contenders has something to offer.  And as Mitt Romney has asserted several times, "Obama has no plan."  I feel proud as I watch this.  This, as I said, is an imperfect field.  There are a range of ideologies among the GOP candidates.  But the quality of the debate has risen out of pop-culture, sound bites, and mainstream media news flashes.  These candidates are debating with a depth of Constitutional knowledge that a few years ago was not present.

I give credit to the Tea Party for pulling our candidates back in the direction of our founding roots.  I hope Americans, young and old alike, watch this and other upcoming debates.  The GOP candidates are giving us a good education about limited government and its enumerated roles in the Constitution.

Gunfight At DC Corral: Palin vs Obama.

4063318573?profile=originalI'm sorry guys. Every time you flood me with emails attempting to convince me Palin can not win; is too toxic, not smart enough, a hypocrite and is only in it for the money, the courageous woman boldly does another extraordinary interview that makes me stand up and cheer, “Sarah Palin, you go girl! I love you!”

On the Hannity show, Palin launched another “in your face” attack on Obama, the GOP and the liberal media. I LOVE IT! http://fxn.ws/cxt8dv

Nothing frustrates me more than GOP candidates walking on eggs cautious not to offend or anger the despicable, lying, agenda driven and evil liberal media. Why should we show respect for characterless people who are committed to lying and putting a negative spin on everything we say and do? The liberal media's mission is to politically “kill” the tea party. Get it?

Sarah Palin gets it. Palin does not give a rat's behind about what the liberal media thinks of her.

On numerous occasions, without the slightest hint of reservation or FEAR, Palin has attacked Obama “the man”; his lies, his anti-American associations, his socialist agenda, his assault on our freedom, liberty and culture and his horrific record, thus far. Thank You Sarah Palin! God bless you!

I realize I sound like a broken record, but I can not express the following point strongly enough. To beat Obama and “his media” in 2012, our candidate MUST embrace Palin's aggressive fearless battle plan.

It has been said, only a fool brings a knife to a gunfight. Without restraint or mercy, Obama, the democrats and Obama's liberal media gang will show up at the 2012 DC fight for the White House with mega guns firing at the tea party and the republican presidential candidate.

Any republican presidential candidate who is timid due to the historical context of Obama's presidency saying, “God bless Obama's heart. He meant well, but his policies have failed” is like entering this crucial battle for our country with a butter knife. Such a restrained effort would insure political death to our side and the end of America as we know it.

Patriots, we need a fearless political gunslinging hero. And so far, our heroic pistol packin' mama is Sarah Palin.

“Besides the ignorant things he said, however, Gingrich suggested that the G.O.P. symbol might be an elephant riding on a magic carpet which (if you look closer) proves to be a paycheck; while the Democrat’s symbol would be a Donkey living in a food stamp book teepee.  Gingrich also said that it was wrong for Republicans to talk about cutting Medicare since it left them open to being demagogued for the next decade and Medicare had only increased 14% under Obama while the federal side of Medicaid had risen 54% and food stamp costs had risen 60% under Obama, then he cited a food stamp increase from 33 million to 47 million Americans now on food stamp rolls an amazing 39.4% jump” in just two years.

Trump, Huckabee Drop-outs and Ex-Speaker’s

Implosion Puts Romney in Catbird Seat

For 2012 G.O.P. Presidential Nomination

In a dramatic turn of events, the last three days marked climactic upheaval in the ranks of the Republican presidential candidates to replace Barack Obama in the Oval Office starting January, 2013.

ITEM:  Mike Huckabee cited “spiritual reasons” for deciding NOT to contest the 2012 primary waters in an announcement made at the end of his Huckabee show on FOXNews channel Saturday.  With no effort at all, Huckabee was #2 in the polls among all candidates.  This is a huge game-changer among Republican and many other conservative voters.

ITEM:  Pressured by his television network, NBC, Donald Trump announced today that he would NOT be running for president either.  Trump said “Business is my greatest passion and I’m not ready to leave the private sector.”  He also cited all the money that his hit show “Celebrity Apprentice” had been making for charity as a reason NOT to run.  Most pundits do NOT believe the Trump announcement changes much in the battle for 2012.  Most conservatives believed “The Donald” was moderate or even liberal; and had very little to offer conservative voters.  Especially after his recent foul-mouthed tirade, he’d lost a lot of his standing as a potential “statesman.”

ITEM:  Only short days after announcing his decision to be a candidate for 2012 -- saying the election was the most important in America since Abraham Lincoln’s election in 1860 -- Newt Gingrich seemingly committed political suicide and greatly muddied the waters of the debate on Capitol Hill over raising the national debt ceiling and the Ryan Budget.  Gingrich (imitating Joe Biden??) offered not one but two terrific gaffes:

1)      He appeared to say that Obamacare was not so bad and that he personally supported something like it.

2)    He criticized Paul Ryan’s budget.  The Ryan budget which passed in the House with 238 Republican votes, Gingrich said was “radical.”  He continued, “I don’t support social-engineering from the right anymore than I support social-engineering from the left.

Unless Gingrich’s ploy will be to run as a Democrat and contest Obama in the primaries, his candidacy can no longer be regarded as valid.

At this early stage these three key recent developments seem to put Mitt Romney in the driver’s seat.  He’ll presumably emerge with somewhere between 30-35% of the G.O.P. vote in upcoming polls.  He could have a lead of 2 ½ to 1 over his next closest rival presumably Gingrich (who had 15-16% in recent polls but hurt himself recently.  Rajjpuut believes that Mitch Daniels, Indiana Governor; Michelle Bachmann, Minnesota Representative; and businessman Herman Cain would benefit even more than Romney will from the three news items mentioned above.  The big winner, however, might just be the TEA Party.  Let’s look a bit closer at Romney and Gingrich and the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party . . . .

Discussing Romney, DickMorris.com put it this way, “Romney was having a terrible week.  His speech on health care was terrible.  With Massachusetts up in arms over Romney-care and Republicans dead set against the individual and employer mandate, his failure to repudiate his program would have cost him dearly.  But now he is sitting on top of the world.”  Much truth there but perhaps a bit too rosy a picture painted for Romney . . . .

Morris later made a personal appearance on the Hannity show on FOXNews and opined that Gingrich had not actually hurt himself, but rather that people just got the out of context version from the mainstream media.  NOT HARDLY, Richard!  However, in Gingrich’s favor these things must be said.

Besides the ignorant things he mentioned, Gingrich suggested that the G.O.P. symbol might be an elephant riding on a magic carpet which (if you look closer) proves to be a paycheck; while the Democrat’s symbol would be a Donkey living in a food stamp book teepee.  Gingrich also said that it was wrong for Republicans to talk about cutting Medicare since it left them open to being demagogued for the next decade and Medicare had only increased 14% under Obama while the federal side of Medicaid had risen 54% and food stamp costs had risen 60% under Obama.  Then he cited a food stamp increase from 33 million to 47 million Americans now on food stamp rolls an amazing 39.4% jump in 28 months.

Michelle Bachmann, Morris told Hannity, would benefit because she might get a lot of the social-conservatives favoring Huckabee.  Since Bachmann is a TEA Party favorite and the emphasis of the TEAs is on fiscal- and Constitutional-conservativism, that does not compute . . . . Rick Santorum and possibly Sarah Palin would be more likely to gain in Rajjpuut’s not-so-humble opinion, with Bachmann and Herman Cain getting some lift as well.

Morris said that “for Daniels, the withdrawal of Trump opens the way for him to become the main establishment business community rival to Romney.  And Huckabee's withdrawal opens the door for conservatives to support him as well.”  Morris thought that both Daniels and Bachmann needed to enter the race very soon.  Pawlenty, already in the tussle, was another one who Morris said would benefit greatly . . . but he left no doubt that in his view Romney might right now be the presumptive nominee.  Rajjpuut believes there’s a huge long way to New Hampshire not to mention the Oval Office and he doubts that Romney will get 30% of the Republican vote in Iowa or 25% in South Carolina.  Besides, who knows . . .  Chris Christy might just wind up running.

Mitt Romney is the unquestioned early leader, that’s obvious.  But, the millstone of the Romneycare program in Massachusetts hangs heavy upon him.  His biggest worry has to be the TEA Party.  Romney has already pleaded with some TEA Party leaders for the TEAs NOT to run a third party candidate in 2012; some TEA Party folk recently took the opportunity after Romney’s weak Romneycare speech to call him “a walking hypocrite.” Surely  1) Michelle Bachmann, 2) Herman Cain, 3) Mitch Daniels and 4) Tim Pawlenty (after the three shake-ups this weekend) have to be considered far more compatible with the TEAs than Mitt Romney who is at best a moderate Republican and may because of his failure to repudiate Romneycare be looked upon by some as progressive (like Obama).  We’ve a long hot summer ahead of us . . . if one of these four separates himself or herself from the pack, Romney may be in jeopardy . . . then there’s the specter of a locked convention choosing Chris Christy as everyone’s favorite dark horse . . . we do live in exciting times.

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut
