Boehner Caving?

Since the results of the 2012 election came in, Speaker of the House John Boehner has shown signs of abdicating his role as a Conservative American leader.

On taxes he has said “For purposes of forging a bipartisan agreement that begins to solve the problem, we’re willing to accept new revenue, under the right conditions.”

Where repealing Obamacare is concerned: "Well, I think the election changes that. It's pretty clear that the president was reelected, Obamacare is the law of the land."4063627096?profile=original

What were Boehner’s remarks regarding amnesty for illegal aliens? "A comprehensive approach is long overdue, and I'm confident that the president, myself, others can find the common ground to take care of this issue once and for all."

This is not the kind of leadership Conservative Americans deserve.

Boehner appears to be falling into the same trap Republicans have repeatedly fallen in to when dealing with “progressive” Democrats.  Time after time, Republicans have agreed to “compromise”; essentially capitulating to “progressive” Democratic demands in exchange for meaningless, empty promises.

Abandoning American principles by caving in to “progressive” demands has never led to success for Republicans. Republicans have tried the surrender approach before and it has never worked.  The only way Republicans ever make gains is by standing by the principles of liberty and freedom that made America great.

Passage of amnesty legislation will not help the GOP win Hispanic voters. Passing amnesty in 1986 did nothing to help Ronald Reagan and his fellow Republicans in the 1988 midterm elections. The Republicans still lost. Hispanic voters kept voting for Democrats, as they continue to do to this day.

The facts show, Republicans like Boehner who support amnesty are helping “progressive” Democrats import more Democrats.

Since becoming Speaker, Boehner has blocked voting on immigration enforcement in Congress.  This includes a bill that would have freed up seven million jobs currently held by illegal aliens.  Not only is Boehner apparently willing to help “progressives” import more Democrats he also holds the morally reprehensible position of allowing unemployed American workers to suffer.

Less than a week after losing a fairly close election it is understandable that the losing side feels under siege.  Nevertheless, feeling under siege does not justify surrender.

The only real solution for Republicans is to employ the considerable talents of young Hispanic leaders within the Republican Party to reach out to Americans of Hispanic descent and explain to them why America’s founding principles are more in line with their values and beliefs than are “progressive” ideas.

If Republicans wish to remain a vibrant Party that seriously contends in future elections, this is the path.  The sooner Republicans begin the process the better.

Newt Gingrich – Man With A Dream for America

4063440088?profile=original

He came to the White House with a dream, a dream of a more prosperous American, a dream for those not quite so fortunate who were struggling to make ends meet, a dream to take over a house majority, the first time in 40 years. A man arrived at the White House with a Contract for America and that man was Newt Gingrich.

The Republicans sat around for years peacefully enjoying the bonuses and perks from taxpayers. They were totally disengaged refusing to perform their God given duties to maintain a Government of the people, by the people and for the people. They had formed an Elite Club and were most protective of the status quo. They really didn’t aspire to be a majority in the House – why ruffle any feathers when their cushy jobs gave them special perks, bonuses and lots of time to dwell on their social life.

In fact politics was the Republicans’ hobby and they weren’t inspired to make it a real job and become a public servant. But, Newt Gingrich came along and their lives were changed forever, although many resented Newt he was able to reach across the aisle and join hands with President Clinton. Clinton and Gingrich weren’t bosom buddies, absolutely not - but they both agreed that our Nation was stumbling and in need of major repairs.

Newt was aggressive, demanding and on a mission that the Republican establishment didn’t wish to participate in, now that they were a House majority after 40 years some of the younger studs decided they’ve remove this “super star” so they could re-establish their Elite Club and live happily ever after.
Newt definitely was one of Clinton’s best resources and when it came to foreign policy Newt was definitely an ally of the White House.

This was one time in our Nations’ history that that Republicans and Democrats reached across the aisle and our Nation became strong. The budget was balanced with a surplus of approximately a quarter of a trillion dollars. 2012 our Nation is Over 15 trillion in debt, it’s hard to envision a surplus, but it can be a dream come true in the next few years.

Newt Gingrich and President Bill Clinton accomplished more in a short time than any two men in our Nation’s history. Due to the bills passed unemployment went to 4%, millions of Americans were working again. The two corrected many of the core problems that our Country is facing now.
Together they addressed and implemented regulations on financial institutions, income equality working together on poverty – in short they brought a struggling Country back to a Nation with a robust economy, a balanced budget and both Republicans and Democrats concentrated on those who were in the poverty bracket.

But, as so often seen when one person jumps to stardom literally overnight, there were those who would rather “fight than switch.” So overnight a few renegades decided to bring the star back to reality; they felt they’d lost their identity and were determined to remove Gingrich as Speaker of the House.

So Congressman Tom Delay the exterminator and majority whip devised a scheme to remove Gingrich from office. Tom surrounded himself with Republicans that he thought he could trust to undertake this mission. Tom Delay along with majority leader Dick Armey, G.O.P. conference chairman John Boehner and leadership chairman Bill Paxon--not to mention 20 or more insurgents from the rank and file started to make their move only to find they hadn’t dotted their “I’s” or crossed their “T’s.” Gingrich actually was empowered by the failed coup, but he was already making plans to step down as Speaker of the House and make a run for President of the USA.

Newt Gingrich learned many hard lessons during this time, but the positive changes and progress made during this interim will remind all Americans that it is possible to balance a budget and create a surplus. It is possible to give those living in poverty a hand up not a hand out and it is possible to bring the unemployment rate to an awesome 4%.

It is possible America to put America back to work, just think we have a pipeline that would put thousands of Americans back to work. We have some of the greatest sources of energy in the whole World – we just need to tap into our God given resources. Although Republicans and Democrats have kicked our American Dream under the bus – we can still retrieve it and bring it back to America.

It is possible for Republicans and Democrats to reach across the aisle working together to restore our struggling Nation. President Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich are the proof of the pudding – nothing more needs to be said at this time except put Newt Gingrich in our White House as President of the United States of America in 2012.

May God Bless America
As Always,
Little Tboca

Norway Assassin Coverage Reveals Depth

Of NY Times Fall into Journalistic Depravity

There was a time when the ‘Old Gray Lady’ a.k.a. the New York Times was considered ‘the GOLD standard’ of responsible journalism. That time probably ended in the 50s when they ‘carried water’  for Adlai Stevenson’s two failed presidential (over the years the Times has published 14 books on Stevenson showing remarkable constancy toward his failed candidacies -- mostly men like Dukakis, Mondale, Mc Cain, Dole and Stevenson are little more than footnotes in history) ventures.  In any case all semblance at honest, neutral journalism had utterly disappeared when they began huge campaigns of almost open support for progressives (such as Jimmy Carter in early 1976) after 1970.   During the seventies the Times had to work extremely hard to virtually ignore the truth behind  these events: two years of stock market crashing and utter financial grief, near-depression, the bankruptcy of New York City, near bankruptcy of New York State and near bankruptcy of several other eastern states and many large cities across the nation, and of course the federal bailout of New York City (NYC). The Times made a point of tying everything wrong with the nation to a certain Richard Milhous Nixon and his ‘extreme right-wing’ or ‘extreme conservative agenda’ not to mention even Watergate.  The Times and Washington Post were definitely NOT Nixon-lovers.

Compare the absolutely minimal harm done by Nixon to this nation to the absolutely devastating financial debacle created by the actions of the progressive wing of that same Democratic Party which as we’ve documented numerous times on this blogsite** caused the aforementioned:  federal bail-out of NYC, two years of stock market crashing and utter financial grief, near-depression, the bankruptcy of New York City, near bankruptcy of New York State and near bankruptcy of several other eastern states and many large cities across the nation?

The New York Times which was clearly pro-left wing politics and left-wing politicians at that time suddenly STOPPED reporting the news with a clear left-wing slant and STARTED virtually only covering political stories with left-wing slant and ignoring any and virtually all stories that revealed any other point of view or instance of fact. Today that bias has reached crisis proportions and today the NY Times is faltering on the precipice of insolvency.  Is it fair to say, as Rajjpuut does, that the Times might still be old and gray, but she's no longer a lady?

Let’s look at two stories this past week:  Story #1: the Norwegian madman who killed 86 people with a bomb in Oslo and small arms on a nearby island is, the NY Times informs us “a Christian,” a “right-wing extremist,” a “neo-Nazi conservative,” and “far-right wing political activist.” In actual point of fact, the man was insane. His online ramblings are so numerous and voluminous that we can learn an awful lot about him and no, the New York Times is not accurate.

Here’s what is factually known:

1.      Breivik has told police that he was planning on hitting “other targets” as well. Those other targets included the Royal Palace, several government buildings and the Labor Party headquarters. Taken individually that’s a strike against the right; the middle and the left . . . the acts of a violent mal-content.

2.      The Norwegian assassin, Anders Behring Breivik, was insane and is still non-repentant and still states that what he did was “necessary and crucial for all of Europe.”

3.     When it comes to his politics, more than any other single point of view Anders Behring Breivik plagiarized the 'Unabomber' Theodore, Ted, Kaczynski. The Unabomber’s mad rambling “Manifesto” was quoted over and over in full or in part by Breivik in his own online manifesto. The most significant revelation is that Breivik took several pages of Unabomber dogma and, replacing a word here or there, created his own anti-multi-culturalistic manifesto.   The Unabomber was, like Breivik, an equal-opportunity hater. Despite claims that Kaczynski was a right-winger -- his bombing victims were technology company big-wigs and his writings mostly showed a severe anti-technology and anti military bent. The Unabomber was arguably a left-wing University of California at Berkeley ideologue and not a right-winger when criticizing the military-industrialists; a right-wing nutcase when talking about planet Earth. His lifestyle could likewise be interpreted either way: as a right-wing survivalist; or as a left-winger returning to nature.

How crucial is it that parts of the manifesto written by the suspect in Norway's terrorist attack were taken almost word for word from the writings of "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski?
The passages copied by Anders Behring Breivik appear mostly in the first few pages of Kaczynski's manifesto. Breivik changed a Kaczynski comments on leftism and what he considered to be leftists' "feelings of inferiority" – mainly by substituting the words "multiculturalism" or "cultural Marxism" for "leftism."

Kaczynski, who often railed against big companies and the military-industrial complex, thought that the leftwing in America needed to grow up and yet wrote that leftists needed to lose their inferiority complex.    And he said the psychology of leftism can serve as "an introduction to the discussion of the problems of modern society in general." Breivik substituted the terms “multi-culturalism” and “cultural Marxism” for leftism in large expanses of the early writings of his own version of the “manifesto.” Like Kaczynski, Breivik was all over the place in his rambling opinions.

Kaczynski would also say that “leftism was part of the world’s craziness.” The inconsistency of expressed beliefs for both Kaczynski and Breivik is probably far more important than the nature of the beliefs expressed. Note that the Phoenix assassin Jared Loughner (who was also originally called a right-winger; but had spent at least two years supporting and donating to Gabriel Gifford’s political advancement and espousing Marxist beliefs) while primarily a left-winger also expressed incoherent and incongruent ramblings from all over the political spectrum.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/norway/8658269/Norway-shooting-Anders-Behring-Breivik-plagiarised-Unabomber.html

4.     The oil companies were a specific kicking boy for Breivik and environmental extremism seems to be one of his ultra-pet projects.

5.     Ragnhild Bjørnebek, a researcher on violence for the Norwegian Police Academy, described the connection between Kaczynski and Breivik as “very interesting” and commented on the startling similarities between the two terrorists.

“The Unabomber was very intelligent and who was also a person that was very difficult to detect,” she told Norwegian media.

Kaczynski plotted and carried out his deadly mail bombing spree on a 1.4-acre patch of land near Lincoln, Montana over a period of 17 years between 1978 and 1995. The Harvard-trained mathematician, who railed against the effects of advanced technology in his manifesto, was the focus of the longest and costliest manhunt in US history before his brother tipped off police in 1996.

6.     Breivik is a self-claimed “Christian” but spends almost no energy on Christianity in his writings. He seems to have used Christianity for an excuse for the violence (police say the evidence is that he’s been plotting this “for years” but there is according to police no support for his claims of being part of a militant network of “modern day crusaders” or other claims of “belonging” to any groups . . . like Kaczynski and Loughner, Breivik appears to be a hyper-loner personality. His stated desire for a series of coups d’etats across Europe appears to have been pure megalomania.

Story #2 is the debt-ceiling debate presently consuming Congress. According to the Times, the Republican Party’s hateful “obstructionism” is the cause for any ill-effects such as default or down-grading America’s credit rating that might come out of the situation. The TEA Party conservatives, the Times claims have set about to deliberately “shut the government” down; have decided that government spending can only be cut “on the backs of the poor and middle-class and the elderly.”

Information left out by the Times is the fact that the Republican House has passed a budget (neither the nation’s Democratically-controlled House under Nancy Pelosi nor the still Democratically-controlled Senate under Harry Reid has deigned it necessary to fulfill the Constitutional requirements for passing a budget in over 800 days now). Left out by the Times is that the Republican House has passed two separate debt-ceiling bills while neither the President, nor the Senate has put anything on paper to be discussed even though this discussion on the current $14.5 TRillion national debt has been ongoing for almost eight months now. Left out by the Times is that President Obama claimed to have a deal worked out with the Republicans, went to the Senate and POOF! all deals were off; and that Senate Majority Leader Reid also claimed to have a deal in place with the G.O.P., went to the White House and POOFITY-POOF again no deal! Harry Reid claims to have a Reid proposal which John Boehner (G.O.P. Speaker of the House) and Mitch McConnell Senate Minority leader have read  -- an actual document from the Democrats?),  but has yet to bring it up for a vote in his senate.##

Most importantly left out by the Times is the true nature of Barack Obama’s supposedly constructive approach to bi-partisan compromise. After asking for huge spending hikes earlier in the year, Obama felt the need to put forth a counter-proposal to the very thoughtful Paul Ryan budget that passed the Republican-controlled House of Representatives early in the year. The Obama budget was paraded through the Democratically-controlled Senate and there it was defeated by an astonishing 0-97 vote with well over half of those ‘nays’ coming from Democrats. Rajjpuut has never heard of a president receiving less than 25% on any vote in any chamber, much-less in a chamber where his party dominates . . . that’s how serious Barack Obama is about the debt-ceiling as well. It’s all about re-election and making the opposition look bad, our ‘campaigner in chief’ has yet to sit down and actually govern the nation.

Ya’ll live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut

$$ The motto of the Times is “All the news that’s fit to print."  In Rajjpuut's not-so-humble opinion the paper's leaving out of the Climate-Gate scandal story was their #1 ommission for the last decade; but at least a couple dozen close to as monumental stories omitted by the Times in just the last four years could easily contend.  Rajjpuut, who was his J-school's academic excellence winner and a pretty fine feature and investigative journalist in his day, believes that the utter abandonment of truth and impartiality by the New York Times is the most hideous development in the history of journalism since state-controlled newspapers in the old Soviet Union, Red China, Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.

**            In a nutshell: Inspired by the Watts Riots, in 1966 two Columbia University (NYC) neo-Marxists sociology professors (Richard Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven) wrote an article in the left-wing The Nation magazine in 1966 titled The Weight of the Poor: a Strategy to End Poverty. The article revealed their effort to get a GNI (guaranteed national income) law passed in the United States by overloading the Lyndon Johnson expanded welfare rolls (he was conducting a “War of Poverty” within his “Great Society” programs). This manufactured crisis, they thought would virtually bankrupt the nation and was sure to bring Cloward’s and Piven’s Democratic Party to the rescue with the GNI.  The couple believed that the poor needed to become “storm troopers” against the middle-class and the government establishment. In a short time the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” was all the talk of the left wing individuals across the country. In late 1966 or early 1967 Cloward and Piven joined forces with Black militant George Wiley and created the National Welfare Rights Organization in 1967 to put C-P Strategy to work. Here are further important details . . . .

From 1967 to 1976 they doubled the nation’s welfare rolls from eight to sixteen million people using Saul Alinsky’s street theater and other nasty demonstrations to get left-wing social workers to cave-in to their demands for marginal or unqualified individuals to become part of the welfare system. Saul Alinsky, you’ll remember was the author of 1946’s Reveille for Radicals and 1971’s Rules for Radicals. He was also the mentor for Hillary Clinton nee Rodham and Barack Obama taught not only Constitutional Law for a short time but also a course in “Rules for Radicals” virtually non-stop during his community organizer days. The cause of the twenty-five month stock market collapse and the cause of the bankruptcy of NYC and the federal bailouts of NYC was C-P Strategy. Although they never got their GNI, Cloward, Piven and Wiley claimed victory orally and in print and told their enthusiasts that the next areas for C-P Strategy would be voter registration and housing for the poor.

In 1977 shortly after Jimmy Carter took the Oval Office, ACORN^^ was created and the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (CRA ’77) became law . . . forcing home lenders to knowingly make very bad loans to highly UNqualified home loan applicants. From 1975 when the suspect home loan statistics showed 0.24% of home loans were offered at 3% down payment or less (20% minimum has long been more or less standard) to 2005 when a sickening 34.2% of all home loans were suspect there were five expansions of CRA ’77 including four by Bill Clinton (one massive 1993 regulatory expansion; two smaller legislative expansions in 1995 and a steroid version expansion of CRA in 1998). By the way, Wiley and C-P lieutenant Wade Rathke who’d been active with NWRO in Arkansas since 1970 created ACORN and it was originally a “test-case” for C-P Strategy. Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now was so successful that although they’d only operated in one small state they doubled the nation’s suspect loan rate to 0.51% by 1985. ACORN was a success and expanded nationally becoming Associations of Community Organizations for Reform Now and a Chicago lawyer named Barack Obama served two years as their lawyer helping to shake-down and browbeat banks and mortgage companies to comply with the sick-sick tenets of CRA law. ACORN also put Bill Clinton into the Arkansas governor’s mansion in 1978 and kept him there for twelve of the next fourteen years and then into the Oval Office.

## Breaking news, John Boehner took his copy of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s plan to raise the debt ceiling a few hours ago and put it up for a vote in the House. The House pre-emptively rejected the plan after the vote came after a lengthy and acrimonimous debate, during which Nancy Pelosi compared Speaker Boehner to Darth Vader, baselessly claimed Boehner's bill "eliminates Medicare," and asserted that Republicans are destroying "the air our children breathe."  The vote to reject Reid's plan was 246-173, with 11 Democrats joining Republicans in opposition and 10 Republicans voting for Reid’s effort. This amounted to 28 more votes against Reid’s proposal than Boehner had secured a day earlier in passing his own second debt-ceiling bill (that one and the earlier “Cut, Cap and Balance Bill” are sitting on Harry Reid’s table because he would not allow debate or discussion of them.

Let us be clear: While the Times did bask gratefully in the sun during Nixon’s 67-month occupation of the presidency, Nixon’s Watergate scandal was undeniably a senseless political act driven along by a severely paranoid man intending to maintain himself in power. Nixon was a sickie, no doubt . . . but, what in reality did he actually do to the country? What did he actually do other than hurt himself and his conservative cronies miserably by trying to spy on the Democratic National Committee?  The Times diverted attention from the tons of negative stories they seldom ran about the evils being promulgated by the left wing in New York City itself to virtually insignificance while making a cause celebre` out of the Nixon White House's decadence  . . . imagine how much better the country would stand today, if the leading newspaper in America had covered the Cloward-Piven-Wiley actions as the root cause of the bankruptcy of the city in which the Times lives; and the stock market crash of '73-74; and the near bankruptcy of New York State; and the federal bailout of NYC?  Certainly our present financial malaise is unlikely to have ever happened.

Mack Penny Plan

The Boehner plan, the latest version that is, was dumped by the Senate. Surprise.  Tea Party people are being blamed and characterized as hobbits again as they were by McCain the other day. I don't have a problem with being called names, which really doesn't bother me, what does bother me is the fact that Boehner is not standing his ground with Cut, Cap, and Balance and has not looked at the Penny Plan. We need a balanced budget – stop spending, how hard is it? I have to admit I do feel bad for Mr. Boehner and I admire his persistence the reality is: He needs one plan and only one plan and then drop it in the laps of the Democrats and this President and not be a sell out. I can only imagine his frustration, but he was hired to do a job and if you can't take the pressure then move over and let someone else in that can!

Regarding this ongoing issue: It is just simple common sense. Seriously. Just a few days ago Mr. Boehner said about the Penny Plan, "It is worth looking at" and then came up with something entirely different, might I mention another worthless plan. The Penny Plan makes perfect sense and addresses all the issues. The Democrats are using this whole crisis as a game of chess with the American people as the pawns. There were plans in order: the Ryan Plan; Cut, Cap, and Balance, etc. The President and his colonies are sitting back, watching, and allowing the Republicans to take the blame for everything that is going wrong right now on the Hill. We need to have one plan, pass it, and put it in their hands for deliberation in the Senate; let them do something other than run their mouths. They need to stop this madness and stand up for what they believe in; end of story!

Gina Aveni Mack: "Obama's Lack of Leadership Puts America in Danger"

Boehner Plan Falls Short of Restoring Fiscal Order

WASHINGTON, July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14) announced today that he will not support Speaker Boehner's plan, which raises the nation's debt ceiling. The plan does not fix the debt crisis and does not balance the budget.

Mack stated: "President Obama's lack of a spending reduction plan and the Senate's various schemes to license more federal spending would drive any credit lender into orbit and has left Speaker Boehner rightfully frustrated. Speaker Boehner's plan is an attempt to deal with the financial irresponsibility that the federal government has brought upon the American people, but falls short of putting our fiscal house in order. I would urge the Speaker and the President to adopt the Mack Penny Plan which effectively cuts up the government's credit card and takes us out of debt in eight years. House Republicans have put forth multiple plans to avoid default and get our fiscal house in order by cutting spending and implementing serious budget reforms. The President's lack of leadership and lack of a plan reminds me of Hans Christian Anderson's The Emperor's New Clothes."

Presently the Mack Penny Plan enjoys the support of over 40 co-sponsors in the U.S. House; the backing of the Republican Study Committee's 103 Members, U.S. Senators Enzi (R-WY), Rand Paul (R-KY), John Barrasso (R-WY),The One Cent Solution, The National Taxpayers Union, and FreedomWorks.

The Penny Plan balances the budget by:

•Cutting total federal spending by one percent each year for six consecutive years,

•Setting an overall spending cap of 18 percent of gross domestic product in 2018, and

•Reducing overall spending by $7.5 trillion over 10 years.

A Battle Victory, but a Turncoat Among Us!

We had a small but significant battle victory yesterday when we stopped the "vote" on the disgusting bill that Mr. Boehner was going to send over to the senate.  That liberal bill would have been twisted further into the communist mold and sent back to the house, eventually being "passed".  That would have been a victory for the communist-led senate.

But as often occurs during an argument, one can find out what side a person really stands on when the pressure increases.  In this case, Allen West of Florida, showed his true colors.  From what I understand from FOX News this morning, Mr. West was voted in by us, yet he now favors the business-as-usual, liberal and spineless "bill" that John Boehner put forth to be voted upon yesterday.  That bill would have been an aid and comfort to the enemy.

Take notice Florida Tea Party!  You have a turncoat among you!  You better make plans to VOTE OUT Mr. Allen West the first chance you get.  He apparently likes his new job better than his duty to the citizens of conservative Florida!  Keep throwing the tea overboard!

“The highly probable upcoming caving-in by the House Republicans and their even less forthright Senate Republican companions smacks of a huge betrayal (by the ‘party of small government’) of the American people. Despite the Obama budget’s 0-97 defeat in the Democrat-controlled Senate all his posturing today on the debt ceiling is taken up by the liberal media as Gospel Truth and as serious efforts at dealing with the nation’s problems . . . they are neither. Yes, Republicans, you need to call his bluff! His own party has already shown by that 0-97 vote that they have taken his measure and realize his presidency is a 100% joke.”

"Has John Boehner got the testicles to go with the tears?"

Government by Socialist-Elite in the Offing?

Imagine that the Great Government Boondoggle-goddd in the Sky** suddenly dropped $13.5 TRillion in Gold bullion onto the Whitehouse lawn. Applied to the National Debt, all but a measly $1 Trillion would be scrubbed clean. Rajjpuut ventures to say that this visitation by the goddds would be absolutely the worst thing that could ever happen to the United States of America. This, my friends, whether you recognize it or not, is the moment in which the United States decides upon its viability for the next century.  Unwanted interference by the goddds no matter how beneficent it might appear can only destroy this crucial moment when men must decide upon their values and how those values are reflected in our government. These are the crucial issues being decided NOW:

A.    Is the U.S. Constitution a worthy document?
B.    Is small government protecting the people’s freedoms relevant nowadays?
C.    Are America’s citizens going to be held accountable for their own survival and prosperity or will 98% of that role forever be the province of nanny-state government eliminating our freedom in exchange for burping us and cleaning our diapers?
D.   Are free markets worth protecting?
E.    Is socialism a better economic system than capitalism?
F.    Are the people we elected in 2010 to cut spending, create jobs and begin restoring our nation’s glory going to sell us out, this week?
G.   Has John Boehner got the testicles to go with the tears?
Economist Milton Friedman once summed up all government irresponsibility this way: “To spend is to tax.” The highly probable upcoming caving-in by the House Republicans and their even less forthright Senate Republican companions smacks of a huge betrayal (by the “party of small government”) of the American people. His own party has already shown by that 0-97 vote that they have taken his measure and realize his presidency is a 100% joke.
The President and his Democrats have let it be known that social security checks and checks for our troops might not be sent out if the present debt-ceiling is not raised and that a default is in the offing. The Republican Party leaders in the House and the Senate need to stand tough and get this message out: If the country defaults upon its debts, it is because Barack Obama chooses to default. If Social Security checks are not sent out, it is because Barack Obama chooses NOT to send them. If our military, engaged now in three separate wars, is not paid, it is because Barack Obama chooses NOT to pay them. And if the debt-ceiling is not raised and if foolish government spending is not cut significantly it is because Barack Obama chooses NOT to deal with these problems.
Let’s force Barack Obama to decide what’s important and what’s not and let’s allow the American people to examine his priorities. He has not submitted one written proposal since his asinine budget was defeated 0-97 all he’s done is demagogue unfairly those who’ve submitted reasonable and serious proposals to eliminate our crises. If our credit rating is down-graded from AAA to AA which seems inevitable now, then it’s very likely that unless Obama chooses wisely following a failure to legislate an increase in the national debt . . . that the resulting chaos would further lower our credit rating and doom his presidency. Obama is all show and no go. All speeches and no statesmanship. He knows NOT how to govern. The only sure way to save this country is to call his bluff and force him to either accept a wise Republican bill or to be forced to govern – the one thing he fears the most.  Doug Powers recently blogged that despite the Pro-Obama hype from the media, the President is definitely not shrewd nor a statesman. “He’s somewhere between evil and incompetent . . . . Hopefully Social Security recipients are familiar with chess, because they’re now officially pawns in the president’s debt-ceiling game . . . . Let Obama demonstrate the choices he would make when forced to choose, I believe he will fall on his sword.” Well said, Doug!

** Of course, in truth the Great Government Boondoggle goddd is far more like a Mafioso organization which charges us outrageous protection fees every day of our lives.   In addition the credit card purchases and loans and mortgages they take out in your name are money borrowed from us which WE will in good time be required to pay back to them. The 100 million taxpayers in this country (the top 1% of taxpayers earning a minimum of $400,000 pay more than the bottom 97% and, while it does no justice to call them “taxpayers,” 51% or roughly 102 million pay ZERO taxes) must average $145,000 in taxes to pay off the $14.5 TRillion national debt. Of course there’s also the UNfunded liabilities like welfare, Social Security, Medicare, and the federal side of Medicaid which must be considered which amounts to another $98 TRillion that the productive part of society must pay for: which comes to another 980,000 we taxpayers must ante up   . . . or $1,125,000 owed by each taxpayer. Since the bottom-rated tax payers makes only a bit more than $34,000 . . . the enormity of the situation is obvious. The government’s credit card must be cut up into little pieces then burned and then the ashes must be vaporized.  As Grover Norquist once said, "I don't want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub."

Greece Rated World’s Worst Credit Risk
USA in Worse Shape Financially than Greece

Mere hours before Standard and Poor’s cut Greece’s credit rating by three levels and branded the debilitated Mediterranean nation with the world’s lowest debt grade for its bonds; Pimco’s Bill Gross told CNBC that the United States’ financial status was much worse than Greece’s. Pimco which manages over $1.2 TRillion in bond funds, according to Gross will NOT be buying U.S. Treasury bonds. The “CCC” credit rating for Greece was not unexpected; the evaluation by Gross of the United States’ fiscal ills is no surprise for regular readers of Rajjpuut’s Folly.
For most of the taxpaying public, the news from Gross and Pimco, is a savage blow. Pimco, based in Newport Beach, Calif., runs the largest bond fund in the world. Gross confirmed a report Friday that Pimco has little interest in US debt and its low yields that are in place despite an ugly national balance sheet.   "Why wouldn't an investor buy Canada with a better balance sheet or Australia with a better balance sheet with interest rates at 1 or 2 or 3 percent higher?" he said. "It simply doesn't make any sense."

As we’ve mentioned many times herein, the combination of roughly $14.5 TRillion in acknowledged national debt; many TRillions more in entitlement debt (social security, Medicare and the federal side of Medicaid) which was never set aside by congress according to legal requirements but rather was spent on ever bigger and bigger government; and the crushing weight of UNfunded future liabilities (the average person paying into these programs over the year is now legally entitled to receive up to 3.1 times their pay-in on average) owed by all those entitlement programs . . . right now stands at roughly $116 TRillion. That is a number roughly 2.16 times the average gross domestic product (GDP) of the entire planet and roughly 7.7 times our American GDP.   And in case you’ve seen other figures . . . it’s simple: they are lies. $116 TRillion is the straight skinny.  In straightforward language, if these people were running public companies and pulled off what they've pulled off on you . . . everyone of them would be in prison for a long, long time.
Government accounting of the situation has been abetting the lying progressive politicians in these manners for roughly 55 years in the same way that the government now tells us that unemployment is 9.1% in the country (the real figure is roughly 17.8% which includes all those who don’t have jobs that really want one but who don’t fit the government’s narrow definition); in the same way that the government gave us figures about how many jobs that the $787 Billion Obama stimulus “saved or created.” In case you haven’t figured things out yet, Pilgrim, your government is run by the “political class,” that is, by a special interest group whose main purpose in life is to keep the fat, cozy and often senseless bureaucratic jobs created in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere; and for the politicians who passed those laws creating those jobs to get themselves re-elected. They are NOT accountable to you and certainly feel no compunction to tell you the truth EVER. About 20% of the Republicans and 4% of the Democrats in Congress right now are working for you, that’s why those idiots in congress can’t get anything right, because their definition of “right” means “best for them and for the political class” NOT “best for you.”
Bill Gross’ appraisal should stand as an out and out warning to all taxpaying Americans as to the level of damage that the policies of Barack Obama’s administration; and those of Chairman Ben Bernanke’s Federal Reserve Banking System have inflicted upon our economy that so severely undercut the American dollar that unless . . .
1)     House Speaker John Boehner stands by his declaration that “Any increase in the national debt ceiling must be matched ‘dollar-for-dollar’ by a decrease in the budget (our 2011 budget expiring in October is $3.65 TRillion and increases the deficit by $1.59 TRillion)
2)    The house and the senate agree and pass such a program
3)    And President Obama signs it into law rather than vetoing it
. . . unless such actions take place by roughly August 1, 2011, Rajjpuut predicts that the S&P rating for U.S. Treasury notes will drop very close to Greece’s.  Of course since Obama's handler, multi-billionaire currency-speculator George Soros, would benefit immensely and perhaps double his net worth if the American Dollar collapsed; lost it's 52-year seat as the World's Reserve Currency; and hyper-inflation hit America's shores, which way will the smart money** bet.

Moody’s cut its rating on Greece on June 1 to Caa1, leaving only Ecuador as a worse sovereign risk. The S&P rating abasement put Greece well below Ecuador. No other sovereign nation is graded as low as CCC by S&P, according to an S&P spokesman’s e-mail communications.
“The ratings agencies are now playing catch-up with the market,” said Gianluca Salford, a fixed-income strategist at J.P. Morgan in London. “The market is pricing in a very high probability that there will be a credit event around Greece. The agencies are just catching up to the negativity that’s already priced in by the market, not the other way around.”
Moody’s gave a wake-up call to America when it recently refused to lower the country’s AAA rating but issued a warning that the USA was “trending negative.” The last time such an occurrence hit this country was on December 8, 1941, the day after the Empire of Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. It appears that Moody’s and S&P are waiting to see what happens in the upcoming congressional debate over raising the nation’s debt limit. President Obama is asking that the debt ceiling be increased by $2.7 TRillion to $17.0 TRillion. Boehner and congressional Republicans, as we’ve mentioned are saying that any increase in the debt ceiling requires a “dollar-for-dollar” reduction in the budget. IF, a huge IF, if Obama and the progressive Democrats have any sense, than Rajjpuut estimates that the most likely compromise would be a debt-limit increase of $1.7 TRillion (to $16 TRillion) and a 2012 budget of $1.95 TRillion. Those numbers might actually turn the economy around so markedly that they’d have a chance of surviving in power after November, 2012 elections. If, a teensy-tiny if, any other deal comes around, Rajjpuut believes that Moody’s and S&P will NOT compromise and will NOT endanger those who read their evaluations . . . but will severely downgrade the United States’ Credit ratings. So severely, perhaps that paying near loan-shark’s rates on our treasuries will NOT be out of the question. Enjoy your day, taxpayers!

Will TEA Party-Inspired Victory

Again Go to Waste for Conservatives?

The man of the hour is House Speaker Designate John Boehner. On the face of it, it appears that the hopes of conservative America could hardly have been put in stronger hands. Mr. Boehner reportedly has never asked for nor taken an earmark in his twenty-year career. Yes, a man of principle is needed. But more than anything else, America needs John Boehner to be a man with an elephant’s fabled memory and an owl’s much lauded wisdom. Will the recent TEA Party-inspired victory at the polls go to waste for conservatives? Something even bigger along those lines happened in 1994 . . . it must NOT happen in 2010.

In 1994 the conservative standard-bearers, the Republican Party swept into control of both the House and the Senate netting 55 new house seats on the way. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and the Republicans had set the victory up by creating a “Contract for America” similar in many ways to the ideas propelling the TEA Party Contract from America and the Republicans Pledge to America, both offered up in 2010. This year things are different in three important respects from 1994:

1) From a conservative’s view point, the 2010 election result was broader but less conclusive. Many more governorships were seized; more U.S. House seats were gained; many more individual state House and Senate seats were won; but the gain of six U.S. Senate seats did not give the Republicans a majority in that chamber.

2) The clear inspiration for the Republican victory was the creation of the TEA Party grass roots fiscal- and Constitutional-conservative movement begun about February, 2009, shortly after Barack Obama, the Democrats and many Republicans passed the $787 Billion Obama stimulus.

3) Republicans running on religious-conservative or socially-conservative lines were uniformly defeated as the old “litmus- test” gave way to a type of conservativism that Independents embraced eagerly.

TEA Party Has Much to Learn;

Republicans, Even More, from 1994

So, what exactly does the TEA Party-inspired conservative victory mean for America?

A. Nothing, if the beneficiary of this Conservative victory (the Republican Party) ends up less than a party of principle and also opts to return to its old “litmus test” of social and religious issues

B. Everything, if the beneficiary of this victory ends up returning to its roots as the party of small government; accountable government; fiscal-conservativism; and Constitutional Conservativism, leaves the old litmus test behind and learns from the debacle of 1994 . . . .

In 1994, the Republican Party had a historic opportunity dropped into its lap and then blew it badly by playing small politics instead of honoring the will of the voters and standing up for Constitutional- and fiscal-conservativism. Back then the voters angered by the Democrats’ failed attempt at Hillarycare and other less than conservative efforts by Bill Clinton also rejected the Democratic Party at the ballot box. The G.O.P. picked up 55 seats in the House of Representatives for a majority there and even won the senate. Like now the Republicans back then had a document working for them, the “Contract for America.” John Boehner has the opportunity to learn from Newt Gingrich’s less than sterling efforts and begin the nation’s return to sanity, principle and fiscal-integrity. You see, Gingrich compromised repeatedly with that wily devil Bill Clinton. Boehner would do well to learn the lesson that only 100% principled bills need to be presented for a vote in the House, not 99% principled bills with one ear mark or one outrider; not 99.9% principled bills . . . but only 100% principled bills. Why?

ITEM: You will remember that it was only AFTER the Republican victory in 1994 that Bill Clinton was able to go from 36% approval to 65% approval (in January, 1998, just prior to his escapades with Monica Lewinsky in the so-called “tailgate” or “little blue-dress scandal” becoming the headline story for the next few months).

ITEM: You will remember that it was only AFTER the Republican victory in 1994 that Bill Clinton was able to pass three expansions of the Community Reinvestment Act (two in 1995 and the “steroid version” in 1998) which ACORN was able to exploit to turn Jimmy Carter’s ill-conceived CRA of 1977 into a nation-wrecking sub-prime lending crisis**.

Item: You will remember that whereas in 1976 only one in 404 mortgages was offered at less than 3% down payment; that by 1986 the Arkansas Community Organization for Reform Now (later to expand to become the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) had doubled the rate in the nation to one questionable loan in every 198 mortgages; which had really jumped to one bad loan in every 14 by 1996; and 34 questionable loans in 100 by 2006 and ignited our present financial crisis.

Item: You will remember that ACORN lawyer Barack Obama in Chicago played a key role in that area brow-beating and shaking down lenders to force them to comply with the evil CRA legislation.

Item: You will remember that after 1998’s steroid expansion of the CRA ’77, ACORN, without Barack Obama, discovered that it was now just as easy to put an ultra poor renter into a $450,000 home as it earlier had been to get him into a $150,000 one.

Item: You will remember that after 1998’s steroid expansion of CRA ’77 by Clinton, ACORN was able to get many loans not at 3% but at ZERO% down payments.

Item: You will remember that people without I.D.; people without jobs; people without anywhere close to decent credit ratings; people without even a rental history; people whose only “income” listed was food stamps; other welfare recipients; and even illegal aliens were being put into $350,000-$500,000 homes courtesy of ACORN’s “street warfare” against mortgage lenders required by law to make knowingly bad home loans.

Item: You will remember liberal news coverage in big cities of protests against banks “Unfair to the poor” or “racist banks” being carried on TV as crowds chanted on the lawn outside bank presidents’ and vice presidents’ homes.

Item: You will remember G.W. Bush trying to change this complex of laws in January, 2005, but progressives from both parties (particularly the Democrats) voting him down.

Item: You will remember G.W. Bush personally or via spokesmen talking to congress some 26 times about the financial problem these CRA laws were causing.

Item: You will remember finally 30 months after his first attempt to rein in this nightmare runaway train, the Bush administration and bi-partisan patriots passed a watered-down version of his original anti-CRA bill in July, 2007. It was, of course, way too little, way too late and the debacle was on us by October, 2007.

Item: You will remember that three months ago in August, 2010, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner praised Bush’s actions for stopping the recession from becoming truly deep and serious and from preventing a critical plummeting in home prices.

Item: You will surely remember that on at least 200 occasions, Barack Obama^^ has told us an analogy about a car in a ditch driven there by the previous administration.

Item: You will surely remember that Barack Obama claims his policies prevented another “Great Depression” caused by the prior Republican administrations and failures of the Free Market.

Item: You will surely remember Barney Frank saying, “Gee, the Free Market created another mess and now government has to come to the rescue . . . AGAIN!”

Item: You may not remember Rajjpuut telling you that the correct version of the “car in the ditch” story was that George W. Bush saw Obama, Clinton, ACORN and progressive politicians deliberately pushing the car (the economy) toward a 500-foot cliff (utter financial disaster) and jumped into the front seat, grabbed the wheel and slammed on the brakes, thus initiating a controlled skid that deposited the vehicle into the nearest friendly-looking ditch.

Item: You will surely remember Tuesday’s voting and that courtesy of the awareness created by the TEA Party, the Republicans now have a chance to make amends for their faulty oversight of the nation between 1994 and 2004.

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

**How exactly did this disaster happen with Republicans owning a majority in both chambers?

How did Clinton like a Tae Kwan Do black belt use the power of the powerful House Republicans against them? It happened, just as the strike out of MIGHTY CASEY did, because “pride goeth before the fall.” Because when “politics is the art of the possible,” all is well; and when politics becomes "the art of the compromise for appearance-sake," all is surely wrong.

The Republicans, you see were committed by Gingrich to passing legislation in the House in accord with their Contract with America. Since they had the majority, they could and did and included among their achievements was incredible Welfare Reform, all well and good. However, Gingrich went beyond the possible into the dirty world of compromise with the Devil (Clinton) and got smacked around like a schoolboy. It happened more or less because Gingrich’s pride could NOT accept passing a bill or several versions of a bill only to see Clinton veto it repeatedly after the senate sent it to him. His pride demanded that he ENACT legislation . . . something NOT in his power. Enter the fuzzy world of COMPROMISE . . . .

Gingrich’s pride would NOT allow him to pass a bill and call it a success, he must see it enacted . . . and there Clinton had him because Clinton was NOT facing a veto-proof congress. So the Republicans would set out and eventually pass a great piece of legislation, Constitutional and smart and Clinton would veto it. They would adjust a few things tinker with it here and there and get a few more Democratic votes and pass it again and again Clinton would veto it. Presumably if Gingrich had been content to keep passing good bills and been content with the few crumbs of success Clinton allowed to become law, much good would have done; the Contract with America would have been achieved (passing all the bills; not unfortunately enacting all of them); and Clinton’s approval rating would have dropped into the teens . . . instead because of his pride and compromising with Clinton . . . the Dems got credit for passing “monumental reform” legislation; and the Dems repeatedly snuck in little pieces of poison (like three CRA ’77 expansions) and so Clinton was resurrected and re-elected. “But, but, but HOW?” You ask.

After several vetoes of several versions of a particular bill, finally, the minority Democrats in the House would create virtually a twin of the most popular version of the same bill Clinton had just vetoed (with some teensy-teeny nasty progressive surprises such as the CRA ’77 expansions earlier mentioned in them dropped into the small print) . . . rather than standing upon principle and defeating the bill in the house, Gingrich and the Republicans went along with Clinton’s charade, time after time after time after time and helped Clinton go from 36% approval to about 65% approval by 1998 before Monica Lewinsky did him in. Yes, the G.O.P. did fulfill their Contract with America, but because of the wily Clinton the nation was much the worse for it . . . . And that is the lesson John Boehner must take from history as goes about meeting the Pledge to America. NO compromise with the Devil, please, Mr. Speaker!

Rajjpuut’s Predictions 2010

G.O.P. Dem Ind.

Governors 34 15 1

Senate 52 46 2

House of Reps 268 167 0

But Flynn let drive a single to the wonderment of all

And the much-despised Blakely tore the cover off the ball

And now the dust has lifted and they saw what had occurred

There was Blake SAFE! at second; and Flynn a-hugging third!

And from the gladdened MULTITUDE went up a joyous yell

It rumbled in the mountain tops, it rattled in the dell

It struck upon the hillside and rebounded on the flat

For Casey, MIGHTY CASEY, was advancing to the bat . . . .

Politics: The Art of the Possible

Rajjpuut memorized Ernest Lawrence Thayer’s marvelous poem Casey at the Bat, when he was eleven years old . . . there is something magical there (a proviso to the G.O.P. and presumably John Boehner as well) because, after all “MIGHTY CASEY” did strike out . . . If John Boehner “works with” President Obama he will succeed in repeating the debacle that Newt Gingrich encountered beginning in 1994. What happened there/then? The Republicans won 55 new house seats and also swept into controlling the senate . . . the G.O.P. owned both chambers of the Congress for the first time in several decades. The wily Bill Clinton facing-off against an optimistic Newt Gingrich who pledged to commanding the Republican horde into achieving their "Contract with America" . . . and Clinton . . . made Gingrich very, very sorry . . . and America much, much, much sorrier . . . .

History shows us that it was only after the 1994 midterm elections that Clinton was able to pass his two 1995 expansions of the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ’77 which forced home lenders to make knowingly stupid home loans); and then the steroid expansion of that bill in 1998 which led to the financial debacle that began in August, 2007. To put things in perspective, in 1975, before CRA ’77 was passed just one in 404 home loans was granted at a questionable 3% down payment or less. After almost a decade of ACORN’s shenanigans mostly in Arkansas (it began as the Arkansas Community Organization for Reform Now in 1977 with the assignment from Cloward, Piven, and Wiley to ACORN creator Wade Rathke to shake things up in voter registration and housing) the national “questionable home loan rate” had doubled from 0.24% to 0.51 of home loans offered at 3% down or less. Clinton, himself beginning in 1993 had started “creating” law via regulatory edict upon CRA ’77 and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. And then twice in 1995 with the Republicans guarding the switch Clinton expanded CRA ’77. When the dust had lifted in 1995, 14.1% of home loans were being offered at a highly questionable 3% down payment or less, many required zero down payment. (By 2005 34% of home loans were questionable and now ACORN was pushing for $400,000 homes not $150,000) How did this disaster happen?

How did Clinton like a Tae Kwan Do black belt use the power of the powerful House Republicans against them? It happened, just as the strike out of MIGHTY CASEY did, because “pride goeth before the fall.” Because when “politics is the art of the possible,” all is well; and when politics becomes "the art of the compromise for appearance-sake," all is surely wrong.

The Republicans, you see were committed by Gingrich to passing legislation in the House in accord with their Contract with America. To Mr. Boehner, instead of saying “I wish you bluebirds in the spring,” Rajjpuut says, “I wish you gridlock for two years . . . a spine of steel to dull your tears . . . and most of all, when critics call, I wish you luck!”

Two questions appear to be answered even before a single vote is cast in the 2010 mid-term elections: Republicans are going to pick up a lot of seats in the House of Representatives and a lot of governorships as well. The G.O.P. winning 30-35 governorships is a crucial must in the eyes of the politically savvy if the personal popularity of Barack Obama is to be overcome in 2012 so the country can veer quickly away from Marxism. The governors will be in charge of drawing up district boundaries based upon the 2010 Census and for the G.O.P that means a huge opportunity to counter the Democratic Party machinery that so dominates in Big States with Big Cities like Illinois, New York, Ohio, and California.
Listening to House Republican Leader John Boehner, one comes to believe that the Republicans have faced up to the shortcomings which betrayed the voters in 1994 and again in 2004 . . . and that the G.O.P. will focus on creating jobs; express and enforce Constitutional-fidelity; aim to dramatically reduce the size and interference power of the federal government; defund Obamacare; aim to cut taxes, spending deficits, the National Debt; and the size and scope and power of the federal government. More than his words, it is the fact that Boehner has never, not even once, given us an “earmark.” That’s an utterly distinguished record of integrity.
Boehner talked about such “Congressional reform” themes last week while speaking at the American Enterprise Institute. Unlike the “reform” touted by Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Obama in naming all their corrupt bills, Mr. Boehner promised straightforward changes that would increase transparency and assist in reducing the growth of government -- including a promise that all legislation be constitutional—which may appear to be a token bow to the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party but which would, according to the Wall Street Journal” provide the wonderful “practical effect of making the Constitution's limits on government part of our contemporary debates.” Glenn Beck must be purring like a kitten to hear that kind of talk.
Mr. Boehner's vow to publish the full text of all bills online at least three days prior to a vote, as well as allowing open rules on all spending bills are both simple, but sensational ideas clearly in line with the intents of the Founding Fathers. Besides joining the progressive Dems’ spending binge, the G.O.P. most disappointed conservative voters when former GOP leader Tom DeLay abused open rules constantly. Of course, Nancy Pelosi has seen DeLay’s evil practices and pushed all-in so that her legacy is the first Congress (in history? in long memory?) not to consider one single bill under an open amendment process . . . nothing is more corrupt than the agenda and the policies of Sweet Nancy from Nob Hill.
The country needs a statesman like William Proxmire again. Mr. Proxmire’s “Golden Fleece Award,” highlighting the most self-serving and corrupt use of the public trust and our taxes, kept his fellow politicians on their toes and somewhat honest. Thanks to Pelosi’s abuse of process, Arizona Republican Jeff Flake, a noted spending critic, has been absolutely prevented from putting embarrassing spending items before the media and public and up for a floor vote. Flake is also the sort of guy who would have exposed Obamacare to such intense ridicule that the bill would never have become law. Imagine him talking about the provision referring to Gold-Sellers in a healthcare “reform” bill . . . it would be hilarious. It’s unimaginable that the present funding of abortions under Obamacare would have occurred with Flake focusing every eye on the bill. If Republicans want to win back the respect of the voters for Congress . . . process reforms such as these are crucial. The G.O.P. canNOT succeed in their professed goals of restoring the Constitution, cutting spending, re-energizing the economy, and abolishing the entitlement state without first undoing the corrupt base of Congress’s evil tax-and-spend machinery.
A few crucial questions are still to be determined on November 2nd. Will the Republicans win the House (yes, they only need 39 seats, but will they win it , or win it with a 61-vote majority – a pickup of 100 seats overall – like Dick Morris is predicting?); will Republicans win the Senate (which Morris is also predicting)? Will the G.O.P. sit in 33 or more of the governors’ mansions? Will the apparent national “wave” of disgust with incumbents and progressives carry over to the individual states and see a lot of incumbents and progressives of both parties shooed out the door? But if the Republicans take the House, one has the feeling that a statesman of absolute integrity will be wielding the speakers’ gavel. Ex-health educator Rajjpuut, only hopes that Speaker Boehner is indeed in our future and that Mr. Boehner's either quits or cuts down markedly on his smoking . . . he looks like one we could bear to have around a long, long time.

Last Rajjpuut Remembers . . . .

Loyal readers will remember that repeatedly Rajjpuut not only excoriated the Congressional Budget Office for their gutless refusal to stand up to the “pie-in-the-sky” assumptions included in the Obamacare budgeting but also assured followers that if made into law, Obamacare would bankrupt the country among other hideous consequences. The process of passing the law particularly the last minute cave-in by Bart Stupak and eleven other so-called “pro-life” Democrats to pass the bill; and the particulars of the bill which NO ONE STILL HAS READ IN ITS ENTIRETY even now; and the irresponsibility of cost estimates; and the moving of 16% of our economy into the government sphere were each of them more than enough to demand a thumbs-down vote. Taken together, they promised a hideous new law sure to wreck the country. Right now 58% of Americans agree the law must be repealed and only 31% think it shouldn’t be repealed. All of that, however, might have just become moot points.

The “Anointed One” himself, Barack H. Obama, Jr. appears ready to exercise the veto pen upon his own foul “reform” of the health care system. You read that correctly. In the train of recent revelations by the CBO that the bill was not going to cut deficits but rather increase them mightily , Obama appears poised to axe parts of his legislation. Rajjpuut has a better idea: sh__can the whole mess and start over with five goals:
A. Real tort reform to make malpractice insurance costs less and excess testing costs much less and health care costs dramatically much less
B. Cutting costs with minimal effect on the present system by eliminating waste and abuse and fraud
C. Insurance sales across state lines allowed
D. Emphasis on prevention and regular physials
E. Less than 200 pages employed in the whole bill.
As Rajjpuut has mentioned often, politicians tend to be slimy individuals when it comes to semantics and use of semantic tricks. While it sounds “bad” to be against “reform” any time; the word-reform, especially from Barack Obama’s tongue, is not the thing-reform. The word “reform,” you’ll note has been attached by Obama and his administration and the Democrats in both chambers of Congress to mean “changing to greater government control” rather than its previous dictionary meaning of “improving something.” Rajjpuut suggests a 100% reform of the Democratic Party and Barack Obama and especially of his administration.
This not-that-surprising turn of events comes after the so-called “surprise-announcement” that congressional budget referees now predict healthcare reform could top $1 trillion as conservatives have said for over a year now. Let Rajjpuut be clear here: Obamacare will eventually come in at $4 TRillion, not in total -- but $4 Trillion per year, the way it is currently written. Government-Freebies, or more accurately “Perceived-Government Freebies” always are in much higher demand than predicted. If, like Rajjpuut you’ve ever seen four or five male bears in the wild (who normally can’t stand each other within 100 yards) five feet apart during berry season as they gorge on nature’s bounty . . . you’ll understand where the 4X factor prediction comes from. And, of course, the law doesn’t really begin to come into play until 2014 . . . so meanwhile it’s killing the economy for four years with nasty taxes.
Those naïve hayseeds among you might consider all this to be an “explosive” revelation. Nothing could be further from the truth. The laws of economics did NOT go to sleep for a hundred years just because a politician totally ignorant of them moved into the oval office. Oh, a few more details, besides its own internal lack of integrity and fiscal inconsistency: the law still threatens to cut physicians’ income and to raise Medicare costs and to bankrupt each and every one of the states because of new Medicaid requirements. Ain’t that sweet?
House Minority Leader John Boehner, said this new CBO analysis ". . . coming just weeks after the Obama administration itself released an analysis confirming that the new law actually increases Americans’ healthcare costs, this provides ample cause for alarm. The American people wanted one thing above all from healthcare reform: lower costs, which Washington Democrats promised, but they did not deliver. These revelations widen the serious credibility gap President Obama is facing."

Jennifer Hing, spokeswoman for Republicans on the House Appropriations Committee, told Fox News: "If Congress were to approve all of this new discretionary funding authorized in the healthcare bill, almost all of the administration's highly touted savings would be made null and void."

CBO estimators also said they simply had not had enough time to run the numbers. Costs could go even higher, because the legislation authorizes several programs without setting specific funding levels. Rajjpuut would say, that is virtually always true. Too little study and too much spend-spend-spend and way too little actual understanding make Congress dangerous to the country’s political health and fiscal soundness. NO BILL should ever become law until sufficient time to truly understand all its ramifications has been taken . . . .

In the wake of the obvious example of highly-socialistic Greece’s present demise with fellow European socialistic countries England, Italy, Ireland, Portugal and Spain (more or less in that order) waiting in the wings for their own fiscal comeuppance . . . Rajjpuut suggests it’s high time this country and its leadership got its feet on the ground. Europe is in chaos trying to avoid the utter financial failure of tiny self- indulgent Greece, the European Union (EU) this week pledged $1 trillion to inject green money into the veins of Europe's socialistic vampires. Not to go unmentioned: about $76 Billion coming from the IMF (International Monetary Fund) comes from American taxpayers . . . we’re actually supporting other countries’ failed experiments in socialism, doesn't that make you happy? Ronald Reagan must be spinning in his grave and the Founding Fathers? Their ghosts are right now discussing reincarnation to ignite a new American Revolution***.

Last Rajjpuut remembers, the Berlin Wall came down . . . a symbol of the differences between capitalism and communism (socialism taken to its logical extreme). Remember . . . they had to pen their people in and even that didn’t work thousands died trying to leave their corrupt stinking corpse of a system. Look at our borders, we’re having huge problems keeping people out. Last Rajjpuut remembers, the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST republics (what a laugh, republics!) collapsed freely and voluntarily as her leaders admitted their system didn’t work. Last Rajjpuut remembers, the Warsaw Pact countries joyfully abandoned their own wonderful socialisms. Last Rajjpuut remembers, communist China is now prospering as they’ve adopted a huge level of capitalism upon its own rotten corpse of Marxism. Last Rajjpuut remembers, people still die striving to leave Cuba and make for our shores on inflated truck inner tubes. Last Rajjpuut remembers Adolf Hitler only gets credit for 13 million deaths while Stalin and his commies killed 25 million and Mao, IN PEACETIME, caused the death of almost 57 million Chinese. How difficult is it to reach the conclusion that SOCIALISM SUCKS!

Ya’all live long, strong and ornery,

Rajjpuut
