In a textbook case of damning with faint praise, the Washington Monthly's Ed Kilgore asserted on Thursday that of all the "dramatically underqualified people" who may run for president in 2016, Ben Carson is the frontrunner.
Kilgore opines that since Carson is black, his popularity with white conservatives "absolve[s] them of any racist motives when they complain about those people on welfare, and indeed accuse white liberals of being the real bigots." (Italics in original.) He adds that should Carson run, "it seems likely he [would] be even more overtly than [Herman] Cain a pure instrument for conservative resentment and—if you will forgive the unavoidable term—whitewashing."
From Kilgore's post, with no memory of Al Sharpton for President 2004 (emphasis added):
The bar for a “viable” presidential candidate was most dramatically lowered in 2012, when pizza entrepreneur and radio gabber Herman Cain briefly led the polls for the Republican nomination to become Leader of the Free World...

There’s no telling how many dramatically underqualified people will run for president in 2016 and ascend from the anonymous ranks of cranks and perennial candidates whose campaigns toil in perpetual obscurity. Some, like former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, may even have minimal on-paper credentials and thereby muscle his way onto debate platforms. But the candidate of that nature most likely to make a splash is Dr. Ben Carson, a distinguished neurosurgeon and philanthropist (and also a conservative Christian motivational speaker and writer) who’s become the Latest Big Thing on the conservative defying-the-left circuit...
Now that reliable expositor of the conservative CW, the Weekly Standard’s Fred Barnes, reports that Carson is getting serious about a presidential run, which he describes more or less as a trip down the road to Golgotha:
“It’s a daunting thing,” he told me. “I know how vehemently the left will come after you, try to destroy you, try to destroy your family. But at the same time I recognize that people like Nathan Hale - he said, ‘My only regret is I have but one life to give to my country’ … And if everybody runs for the hills because they’re afraid that somebody is going to attack them or their family, then [the left] will have won.”

Qualifications, qualifications, how can anyone anywhere for any reason every ever even consider such a comment as qualifications after the nihilism and incompetence of our current Mea Maxima Culpa, this nation’s greatest mistake.
We are in some world of dope-initiated hallucination of not political reasoning, but ‘American Idol’ form of politics. There has never been or ever will be anyone as incompetent as our current disaster. If he is not the most incompetent man born of woman, or perhaps to ever walk upon the face of this planet, who can name another.
When we hear it is god we elected a black man, and that shows the world what? It only shows that this nation is out of its collective mind. We now are saying, we elected a black, now let’s elect a woman.
The danger, the insanity of social engineering, the greatest destructive force known to mankind has inundated this nation to the point that insanity resides on our nation. Our nation must wake up, return to reason, and remember our foundations.

You know it takes a strong God Fearing Leader to stand up against the Goliath's of the world. Dr. Ben Carson has one thing over the Far Left, his faith in God and his Savior. Even to non-believers, atheists will follow a strong leader. Islam demands your faith, Christians offer it as a gift. Dr. Carson will get on his knees and ask for help from the greatest leader of all: Lord God Almighty to heal his land. Enemies fear a strong leader. David was a mere Shepard boy with a slingshot when he stood against Goliath coated in armor. With a single will aimed stone, he killed Goliath and the enemies ran away. David later became King of Israel one of the greatest and he didn't have a law degree or a diplomat, all he had was faith in his God. If God wants Dr. Ben Carson to face trials, tribulation, falsehoods and lies from the Far Left, it will be a test and he could still walk away with the Presidency. We placed our faith in BHO and he led us to ruin but I'm willing to place a American Black Conservative (ABC) in the White House to prove that Black people do make great leaders. One tore us down and the other can rebuild us and make us stronger than we were before.

Carson has the right ideas about how to improve H/C, Allen was a military man and past Pres. involved in the military made very good Pres., and Cain ran a business chain successfully, so he would be able to run the business side of the country and get the economy back on its feet....SOMETHING THAT THIS PRES. This is a great piece. The liberals like to think that they, "own," all black candidates and that communities allegiance, exclusively. They must be continued to be called out, allowing all folks to BE FREE. By pointing this out to them, and to we, the traditional and realist party, we will continue to win elections. Whether the slander comes from the alphabet soup of networks, or a blogger in his mommy's basement, as above, we must keep busting the news out about these pathetic attempts at propaganda.
