If you catch someone in a lie - think about what happens the next time you see them. A normal person caught in a lie, will realize that their entire "self" is now laid bare. In most, it makes them re-think their motivation to lie, and to do better. This President has shown us his "self", and it's more important to him to maintain the charade. He BELIEVES the old saying, that if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes a truth. With him, its an addiction. On the surface, it looks like he can't help himself - but deep inside - he rejects that very feeling - it becomes a means to an end. No price is too much to pay to get his way. People of this nature tend to live inside a shell of their own making. The only thing that can truly penetrate and break that shell, is to be touched by a tragedy so great that it surpasses the value he places on his inner self. When shells like this crack, they produce a total crash and burn. Only time will tell if he will experience this implosion. Hopefully, he doesn't try to take America with him when it happens. Its not a case of "IF" it will happen - but "When".
I never thought about these questions before. Barry as a father, a husband, a community member. How does any criminal justify their actions to those who should find in them a role model. If he remains true to how he has justified his actions to the American People, he will have to lie, shift responsibility, misdirect, ignore, refuse to discuss, and in general deny. How sad. I would change my name if I were one of his kids, but then hey, I still would be following his example.
