New Orleans latest one-sided competition in its often bloody urban Olympics featured a crew of junior chocolate Klansmen, ages 11, 13, 14 & 17, arrested for armed robbery???
The instant they chose to stick a gun in victims faces is the moment they transitioned from kids to combatants!
Liberals & pro crime activists in zip codes like mine are convulsing, whining about how these guys are, " ( YAWN! ) underprivileged; disadvantaged; discriminated against, blah-blah-blah...translation: White folks need to pay bribe money in the form of social programs for this to end."
My read of Black movements, from old school nationalism to the pre-crack era mainstream doesn't reveal a focus on extorting White people to stop Black criminals.
Fast forward to 2014 and it should be painfully apparent that begging others to stop behavior launched from our minds, neighborhoods and families is a waste of time.
Combatants waging war on society, from the Hood to the Heartland, shouldn't be indulged simply because they still have milk dried around their mouths.
Which brings me to another matter: White urban suburbanites who think good vibes will tame the Hood surrounding them.
Too often chocolate Klansmen of all ages see such people as targets, no mater how much love for Obama and liberalism they proclaim.
This is a bit of racial truth no Democratic politician ( from Mayor Mitch Landrieu on down ) can utter for fear it's political suicide in a majority Black city.
Urban suburbia in New Orleans comes at a hefty price, one being paid daily as Whites here are robbed, car jacked, raped and even killed by those who used to exclusively prey on low income hostages in these areas.
Inner city residents know an unpleasant truth few urban suburbanites understand or will openly admit: we live in a combat zone, nothing more, nothing less.
Perilous life in a combat zone requires a high level of security awareness, awareness which runs afoul of debated White privilege and political correctness.
I'm not saying all young Black kids are junior chocolate Klansmen but New Orleans violent crime rate is launched from our end of the spectrum.
Ignoring that means more urban suburbanites will fall, alongside Black peers knowing this all too well.
When kids become combatants and have targets around they consider rich by virtue of skin color, those favoring preaching and prevention should heed Black folks like me who know the better response is personal protection and prosecution, up to and including derelict parents whose homes are de facto launch pads for violent crime.

i totally agree with you cap , look what happened in louisville this passed week, when you have 12 and 13 year olds running the streets at all hours of the night , where are the parents? until they start holding the parents responsible . i think if a child gets into trouble like this he or she should be treated like an adult and the parents should held responsible along with the child
