A thank you for Memorial Day

Dear Armed Forces and Veterans,I would like to take a minute and thank each and every one of you. You are or have served and I know it's not easy. The wars you have fought and are still fighting, while some are not popular, were necessary and you took your sense of morality and empathey to your duties and mostly came out on top. Be very proud my friends, I am proud of you.I take some liberty here and say to all that made the supreme sacrifice, THANK YOU.Time to think of all the wounded warriors and say THANK YOU and I am so sorry over your injuries.I wish I could discover a way to clean the world and end conflict and suffering and death, but as long as power hungry criminals gain power and suppress others wars will be necessary and so will heros like you.Stand tall and be proud!Michael Gusti

  • May this Nation stop, and say Thanks, to all the valiant men and women, that have given their lives.  There is no way we can ever repay this debt of gratitude.   Through History, they have stood strong, and many made the Supreme Sacrifice.   I salute, and will forever, be grateful to these brave souls, who valued our Freedom above all else.   Thank God for the American Military.

  • there will never be enough gratititude for those men and women who have served, and especially for those who have given their lives for us. we often forget that freedom is not free, and it can be lost at anytime...god bless this country, and all those who have served.

  • It felt good to go to Mount Vernon, Va, yesterday and be close to the beginning of the most fantastic country in the world.  God bless our country and rid us of the radical people in our present government.  My son sent me the tape of The Battle Hymn of the Republic and it will give you chills up your spine and bring tears to your eyes, IF you are a true American.

  • It was interesting, the other day I was talking to someone and the subject of military service came up. I mentioned that I served and they thanked me. It felt funny. No one had ever said anything like that before, but it also felt really good.

  • I don't want to tinkle in anyone's Wheaties®, but Memorial Day is for those who didn't make it back home; Veterans Day is for all who served, including the special ones we recognize on Memorial Day.

  •    It's about Jesus and George Washington , Not mohammed and barrak obamma . MOLON LABE hussien  ! May the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob , Shine The Light Ahead Of Our Nations  Warriors , exposing all those that are currently engaging us , foreign and domestic , trying to steel away  America's Sovereignty . From Our Founding to now , nothing's different , she runs through our veins like the Mighty Mississippi , and We'll Always Be Willing To Bleed for Her , Steady Long , Steady Strong , OUR AMERICA ! Thanks To All Who Have Sacrificed For Her Honor !

  • I served with pride and honor. I learned very early on to, 1) to trust my judgement later on that. 2) INTEGRITY matters- always tell the truth!!! As I became a senior Intell NCO, one key point- never politicize your intell findings; you mislead senior leadership (decisionmakers) and this could have GRAVE consequences to the country. I've stood my watches, performed   my duties, and I know I will be judged to being a positive force in American life. The near future in politics does not bode well for 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

  • George, I'd say you have paid your dues my friend. May peace be with you.
  • My thoughts and prayers are with all active military women and men, and also with all the veterans who had so valiantly served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
