Member John McClure Jr sent me this poem that his brother Patrick wrote.
There was a great nation under God
whose citizens became lazy and voted for a fraud.
His words were carefully chosen, a refined speaker he was,
so many were blinded by all the buzz.
The media was complicit with the powers that be,
to conceal his past from you and me.
He has lectured and pointed out those with a different view
he feels his destiny is to rule and regulate you.
Wrong became right and right became wrong
as millions of sheeple joined his throng.
He has divided this nation; white, black, rich and poor
and done it with earnest as if to settle a score.
He has rewarded those who lift not a finger
and put the successful through the ringer.
As the days have worn on and the seeds have been sewn,
the sheeple have forgotten how to think on their own.
Those who have opposed him are ridiculed and scorned
but silent they are not and so they are warned.
The Founders writings are not taken to heart
and he has given them new meaning right from the start.
History has taught us one thing for sure,
those who don't learn it are deemed to repeat it for sure.
As this nation moves ever closer to the brink
the sheeple must awaken and stop drinking the drink.
If this nation sounds familiar then stand up now, our time is due
this nation can't wait, so act today. It is the republic I love the US of A!!!

I am an East coast transplant living in Orange Cty, CA where I am proud to say there are a lot of us that feel this way. It is difficult living on the "left" coast, with it's Socialist ways but thankfully there is such a large presence of like-minded people that at least try to put people straight. I am a 50 year old university student (that's right 50) for the first time ever and attending the University of California-Irvine. I never really wanted to believe that there really were Socialist leaning professors in our universities but now I know that for sure. I have had several professors admit they are members of the Dem. Socialist Party and I can say for sure that they have never had a student like me before. Since I am older than most of my professors I speak to them as individuals and not some kind of authoritative figure and it infuriates some of them. The best they can do is to privately meet with me and we consentually "agree to disagree". It still does not silence me in their classes though if I hear something that is so completely wrong. The younger students do not know what to think until we meet and talk after class and they see I am just a regular student with a different point of view. Being older I tell them everything they are hearing has already been said before and I have heard it firsthand, first by the Carter administration then by the Clinton administration. I think I have become the new Socialist university standards worst nightmare, someone they cannot influence with their so obviously misguided propaganda. I urge all older people to take classes at a community college and let their voices be heard before the left completely brainwashes these young people. There are still some professors who do not follow the Marxist points of view and as a result are not very popular with the other professors but I seek them out and sit in on lectures if I am in between classes.

Melony ; I've watche and commented and waited for a Tea Patry leader to come fwd . To my knowlege no one has . I've observed on this site the degeneration of focus and purpose vwhile the groups turn into facebook . Just a blasbbermouth social network for telling everyone your opinion while we become more impotent daily . This has got to stop . We badly need leadership and A VOICE to present our ideas to the Romney campign for inclusion as planks in the party platform . We must get our priorities in order and articulate them as a guide to the Romney Ryan team . Seeing as no one seems to be coordinating our TEA party ideas preparing to submit them to the Romney campaign for consideration I would like to step fwd as a volunteer to submit to the TEA party group a list of priorities that must be done to bring our tyrannical government back under the control of the people. I need your help . We must be a major influence in the way republican conservatives serve our purpose . WE must provide the VISION . Here is a list of what we must guide them to accomplish .
#1 .Streamline the government . This is not the era of the founders . Communication has vastly improved . We must take full advantage of improvements in communications technology . No CEO of a modern company would have their board in a continual board meeting .
We need to break up Washington , DC . Dismantle " THE OL BOYS " establishment . Bring our house and senate home to the areas of thir constituency's and set up offices to do the governments business in a " GO TO MEETING " method . This first step will severly limit the ability of special interest groups and allow their constituents the abilty to monitor their governments business . It will also drastically reduce the cost of government .
Is there some way we can develop a better communications network among serious Tea party members and actually have an influence on the direction of our country . Some of us are tired of just being a social network that effectively is nothing but table talk . I would like to have our united voice behind me . I could go straight to the Romney campaign with these ideas but I would be 1 ,000,000 times as influencial if the TEA party was the voice of America . We can do it . LET'S
Love it and have considered at 70 gong back to school myself. Students teaching their professors, what a great concept. I've been saying for years that our children are being brainwashed. Instead of being taught to think, they're taught what to think. I tell my grandchildren to question everything and listen with an open mind.
I AM OVER 60- AND WHAT A GREAT IDEA, GO BACK TO SCHOOL. I LIKE THAT! GREAT WAY TO GET YOUR VOICE HERD AND OPEN UP SOME YOUNG MINEDS TO REALLY THINK ABOUT THE COUNSTITUTION AND OUR RIGHTS AND LIBERTYS.
I did that and some community colleges will give either free or reduced tuition. Also there are some senior 'learning' centers but often these are riddled with liberals, so if you find yourself in a group like this, BE VERY SURE YOU HAVE VERY VERY GOOD SOLID INFORMATION, one that is not necessarily a so-called "conservative" source. Liberals like news people are generally their own worst enemies and you can find their contradictory statements easily on the net.
You can find them on university campuses near you... if they are on campus, you can have coffee and be 'agreeable' to listen to young people... and that can be your chance.

See people it is not too late for America, for God spared cities in the Bible if one worthy person could be found. There are many worthy young people who are awake and see what is happening. Keep writing your beautiful truth filled poems, keep speaking the truth. America can be reborn again, just as a sin-filled person is reborn again when he accepts Christ. Our Country needs to offer these Socialists an out, if they think their Socialist philosophy is so great, I would encourage them to renounce their Citizenship and move to China or Cuba. We Patriots will be more then happy to escort them to the airport. Heck, I willing to pay for their ticket with my tax dollars. We are sick and tired of all of you, your lies on the enviroment, your corrupt chronism, and your failure to appreciate those who have sacrificed their lives so you could try your liberal ideas. You have Liberals our Economy is a disaster, which is what you engineered, I will give you credit for that. We are voting to give Obama another Golf Outing!
Right on target. I didn't engage in the collegiate adventure to acquire first the A.A. and then the B.A. attending as a part-time student over the course of 7 years until my youngest of 6 children was in school full time. In all the classes taken I can only recall 2 professors among them who were conservatives while the rest were definitely leftist liberals. There are ways to help students see the truth. I made dozens of copies of information in print concerning matters pertaining to the sanctity of human life to counter the push for abortion on campus and also brought in similarly informative materials having to do with the reasons why no one should pursue or sanction the homosexual lobby in America. Many students from Christian families had been afraid to speak out or speak up about their core beliefs when such topics were raised for fear of being ridiculed or flunked by the professor and several approached me after classes to express their deep appreciation for my willingness to bring our side to light and distribute it among the students in class. Be a light of truth in environments so darkened by leftist propaganda. You will be doing the next generation a great favor and contributing to the rescuing of our society!
Beautiful Poem, should be entered in the Congressional Record so future generations know that there were patriots like you who spoke out against the abuses of power by this administration under Barack Hussein Obama!
