The problem is that many people don't even know who Saul Alinsky is, let alone that Obama is an ardent follower-- even teaching a course in and employing his "rules for radicals" as a community organizer. (Hillary did her thesis on it). Alinsky's key rule is -- " in war the end justifies almost any means". Another key Alinsky rule (in his book Rules for Radicals) is-- " ridicule is man's most potent weapon-- pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it".
(I.e. The Tea Party). This information is extremely important.

This week CVS pharmacies announced they would stop selling tobacco products by October 1, 2014.

Why not let the market decide? Tobacco is a legal product, legal to be sold and legal to be purchased. If the public wants to buy it then it is their choice. I’m sick and tired of others taking our choices away, as though we are to damn stupid to chose for ourselves, we have to have some pinhead do it for us.

According to NewsBusters:

The Russian ship, Akademic Shokalskiy, was stranded in the ice while on a climate change research expedition, yet nearly 98 percent of network news reports about the stranded researchers failed to mention their mission at all. Forty out of 41 stories (97.5 percent) on the network morning and evening news shows since Dec. 25 failed to mention climate change had anything to do with the expedition.

In fact, rather than point out the mission was to find evidence of climate change, the networks often referred to the stranded people as “passengers,” “trackers” and even “tourists,” without a word about climate change or global warming.

.

The blatant omission is egregious, but when you consider the fact that this particular incident is a black eye for the global warming movement, it’s really not all that surprising.

-- Passengers on a Russian polar expedition ship off Antarctica are getting a whiter Christmas than they probably wanted.

The MV Akademik Shokalskiy, with 74 people aboard, got trapped in ice and is waiting for other ships with ice-breaking capabilities to reach it, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said Wednesday.

.

A British rescue coordination center received a satellite distress signal on Christmas morning from the Russian-flagged ship and contacted the Australian authority, which handles the Southern Ocean region where the vessel was stuck, an AMSA statement said.

.

It pinpointed the trapped ship's location as 100 nautical miles east of the French base Dumont D'Urville, about 1,500 nautical miles south of Hobart, Tasmania.

.

Three icebreakers were headed to help the Russian vessel, the AMSA statement said, adding that none were expected to reach it before Friday.

.

Expeditions Online, a polar booking agent for the MV Akademik Shokalskiy, said on its website that the ship got stuck "part way through her Australasian Antarctic Expedition towards Mawson's Hut at Cape Denison."

.

"According to reports, nobody is in present danger and three nearby icebreakers are being sent to assist," the Expeditions Online website said.

It described the ship as "a fully ice-strengthened expedition vessel" for working in polar regions.

"This class of vessel is world-renowned for polar exploration, because of its strength, maneuverability and small passenger numbers," the company's website said.

I included this because there is an evil that has crept into our lives. There has always been the gangster, the murderer, one corruption or another threatening whomever they chose to assault, but there is an intensity now, politicians seeking complete control of every aspect of our lives, government becoming dictatorial, the evil always threatening from the sidelines is now metastasizing itself, becoming bolder with every passing day, especially in the last forty some years.

When I was a boy going to High School in New Hampshire it was a common thing to see students driving their pick-up trucks to school and parking them in the parking lot with gun racks in the window holding shotguns and/or rifles.

.

There were NRA classes once a week at the high school and students enrolled in the NRA class brought their weapons to school with them in the morning, took them into the school and placed them in a designated set of lockers in the basement to hold till after school. There was no problem. No one thought anything about it. The NRA put on an excellent class teaching gun safety, how to handle your rifle or shotgun under various circumstances that are common during hunting, they were great classes, even the parents were encouraged to attend.

Now come forward and see the difference today, something evil has crept in and taken hold. There use to be prayer in school every morning, there use to be Christmas plays put on by different classes about the birth of Jesus. These things went with all of us through our high school years. The major thing was boys smoking in the boys room or running in the halls. Families went to church together on Sunday morning, the parking lots were filled. At 1200 A M, Christmas, churches would be in service celebrating the birth of Jesus. Once again come forward and see what has happened to our country. Look at the kind of people that we elect to office, look at the decline of morals, in respect, in our everyday language so often filled with vulgarity, coarseness and swearing, once diminutive now sadly becoming more and more the opposite.

Guns have always been part of our heritage, fathers taught their children the proper use of them and to have respect for them and, when that was found to be not practiced a walk to the woodshed was the rule of the day. Now you can’t even punish you child with out fear of some kind of reprisal.

.

It’s not the gun, it’s us, we as a people, as a society, we have changed, we have become what is dangerous not the gun, that’s just an instrument. In my opinion, If we don’t return to the ways of the past, the downward spiral in the decline of all that is good and proper will just continue to become worse, one thing exacerbated by the other, until we are locked in a cesspool of violence and vulgarity and, easily taken over like a dead-mans switch that has been released.
