The Democrats have destroyed NY State in a few short years. And they can take all the credit. Patterson took over for Spitzer. The majority federal and state legislators are Democrat and the Attorney General. I feel for you too. You have Dodd and Delauro
Good start to show who paid off who and now they own these guys/girls in office. Payback= healthcare, bank bailouts, free healthcare for Unions, etc

We each need to do a status of our local area. Example of status as follows:
Judy Pepenella, CSA - Targets are: CD1, 2, 4, and 5 on LI; NYS Senate, Brian Foley & Craig Johnson; NYS Assembly - Reelect Dean Murray and several others out here on LI; the gillibrand and smuch; Governor.
If we all put this type of document together in a discussion, we can get an idea of what we are doing locally and how we can help each other state wise.
Additionally I would like to suggest that since there are too many names of ning sites..there is tea party.org, tea party patriots, american grassroots, resistnet, and a whole lot more..that we gather an informational document of all leaders. This document should contain the name of the contact, group name (website/meetup), contact phone number, email and any other contact info you want to share.
I do NOT have a problem creating a document for everyone and sharing it on a google document with all. This way it is not OWNED by one group, but by the leaders in NYS. I really do not care what group a person is a part of, nor what title they hold. I am with one group on the exec board, and a state co-coordinator for TPP and have been for a year. Why? no one wanted to do it and I stepped up to do it. Not for the title, for the fact we needed a person to take the step forward. I feel that ALL groups, 912, tea party (all of them) and or free standing groups need to work together. We may not agree on all social issues BUT we agree on the core values.
Anyone that wants to get involved, let me know. I am willing to put forth the time and effort to make this work.

You are absolutely correct. We need to get together to get all our ducks in a row, and plan a statewide strategy. I would love that! Our Triple Cities Tea Party Patriots group (Binghamton, NY area) are thinking in the same direction. Can you please figure a date and time that would be good? Thank you for all you do.
The election is not really that far away.
I have an idea that may work...what do all of you think of "Tea Party Pennies" for real reform. In this time of economic hardship..many people that would want to contribute can't. I came up with the idea after reading how the March of Dimes started during the Depression years. People didn't have the money than to find a cure for polio.
Can you imagine if everyone sent in their loose change or pennies to candidates who need it all over the country? Could end up being a lot of loose change! Any thoughts?
We need to focus and help these candidates that stand for our principles.
