The question is, where on Earth are the Republicans? Why has there been no press conference with every Republican in the House and Senate standing together to denounce all this violence? To passionately defend our police? They know damn well that Chauvin is an outlier, a bad cop who has kept his job because his Democrat-run city kept him despite his abusive tendencies.
Why is President Trump always alone in saying what needs to be said? And when he says what needs to be said, he is viciously attacked by the Democrats and the media who, like Pavlov's dog, consider any word he says as an opportunity for slander. And the Republicans do not come to his defense.
At the moment there is no Republican but Sen. Cotton who has won or even kept the respect or support of his or her constituents. They have all made common cause with their Democrat counterparts. They are letting Antifa and Black Lives Matter, both of which are Soros-funded terrorist groups, have their way with all of us, and it is disgusting. They are not out there defending our police without whom we cannot exist. They know this! They are all -- all of our elected officials except Trump -- capitulating to violent actors who will think nothing of killing indiscriminately next. Antifa and BLM are just a step away from adopting the tactics of the drug cartels of Mexico and the Palestinian jihadis. One small step.
Senators McConnell, Cruz, Scott, Lee, Rubio, et al. Where are you? Congressmen Nunes, Johnson, McCarthy, Gaetz, Jordan, et al., all you good guys, where are you now when we need you to stand up for our values, our safety, our property?

Indeed! I think there was confusion, early on, about what was going on. There were a lot of Republicans wondering if maybe there is systemic racism. Then the riots happened and the battle lines have been drawn, not on race, but on idealogies: capitalism vs marxism (socialism / communism / the like). Obviously the dems go along with this, but there should be more Republicans speaking out now. All the conservative show hosts are. Trump is. Where are the politicians?
I hope the Republicans are regrouping. I think they were thrown off by the boldness of these protestors/rioters. A week or so ago weren't they threatening to breach the White House gate/fence? Sixty Secret Service people were involved and some injured. I was afraid we were waiting too long to get reinforcements there. The Republicans and all of us need to get real about the threat these characters pose. Antifa and BLM are being financed and encouraged to create chaos. Wasn't it a few thousand Bolsheviks that hijacked the Russian Government? Legitimate protestors are one thing. But many of them are naive to this radical element with sinister intentions. We have to draw the line somewhere. WE just need to do it with strategic planning and try to minimize the damage. We do need unity but there are too many who still want to play the appeasement game. Trump is getting unexpected opposition from some of these military/policians. Mattis. McCaffery, Kelly, Mullen (Obama's buddy) etc. If they don't think all options are on the table when the very White House is threatened and city blocks are taken over I have serious doubts about where their loyalty lies. Check out the op-ed General Flynn just wrote in the Western Journal I believe. These waivering Republicans and Americans in general need to remember you can't keep giving in to the demands of brats and bullies. They will continue to use the same behaviour to get their way. Parenting 101 which evidently not many of them got. Stay strong.

Republicans, especially the likes of Sen McConnell, best understand such situations and that there's NO EASY ANSWER... especially with how Democrats and these Leftist Radical/Subversives have such control over our Main Stream Media outlets... Republicans can't Call Out the Military, or start doing things that cause numbers of people getting KILLED, etc... Don't think that Republicans are not doing the best they can... under such circumstances.... And they ALL need our Support and "Conservatives" should NOT be believing that President Trump IS the man for such a Job.. or that Republicans need to simply and totally Support his every word and deed, etc... I mean THAT would be rather nutty, if anything... and unless people aren't actually paying attention, etc.
