The cross border vaccine mandate for truckers in/out of Canada is now in effect. The U.S. vaccine mandate takes effect on January 22nd.
It will take a few days to see the consequences, but there will be consequences.
Keep in mind, any impact is taking place in a supply chain system that is already tenuous and unstable at best. A small disruption that may have been minimally significant against a fully operational supply chain, is more likely to be a much bigger disruption in a supply chain that is already under a severe amount of demand side stress. Somewhere in the range of 16,000 to 38,000 daily loads are likely to be impacted.
When questioned about this, Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic Leblanc says the trucking industry “has had adequate time to prepare for this.” Keep in mind, the mandate was announced 45 days ago (November 30th). According to the Canadian government, changing the structural rules for all the logistics and commerce in cross border shipping, 45 days is enough notice.

Yep, I guess the truckers will need to walk across the border with their merchandise.
I know full well that Face Masks are no protection against Viruses. The porosity (hole size) of the Mask is .5 microns and the diameter of a virus is .03 micons. The only viable protection against Viruses is a negative atmospheric room in a full protection suit with supplied air/exhaust. The point of argument was that only the Federal Jurisdiction was brought before the Supreme Court, not the States nor Private Sector.

The Supreme Court decision was directed only at the Federal Government Authority under OSHA to lawfully require the use of "Face Masks." The Court ruled correctly as Work Place Hazards with Employees exposure must be directly a result of the "Work Process." Healthcare Employees are reasonably expected to be exposed to Covid. Our Constitution is specific regarding Laws. Those not specifically assigned to the Federal Government may and can be created and expanded on by the Individual States, providing they are not in direct conflict with Federal Law. If businesses want to require their employees to wear a Face Mask as a condition of employment, it must include all employees without exception and is legal. No different than requiring uniforms or clean shaved faces.States requiring Face Masks has not been brought before the Supreme Court as of yet.

The problem with all this is.......Covid has a couple of cures, it's like the flu, the vaccine doesn't stop anyone from spreading or getting the virus, if you had it it doesn't mean you will not get it again, masks do not protect you....not even the better masks unless they are fitted specifically for your face........
I believe one type of mask that is good are the US military grade mask design to protect against NBC attack. NBC stands for Nuclear,Biological,Chemical warfare attack in which I wore one in Navy boot camp.
When The Supreme Court recently halted Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate, most people thought it was in some way a victory for freedom. WRONG …. The Court stopped far short of giving freedom its much-needed shot in the arm. The decision should have said, in no uncertain terms, that NO ONE absolutely NO ONE has the right or the authority to force or compel anyone to be vaccinated against their will.
The result of this decision has now allowed this tyrannical mob that calls itself our government to grant this imaginary authority to its many big tech allies. This decision seems to fall right in line with most of their recent decisions that defy logic and America’s Tradition. Even though The Court would appear to lean toward conservatism, some of their recent rulings reek with the smell of bribery, coercion, intimidation, threats, or any of the other ‘persuasive methods’ the democrats use to get their agenda jammed through.

Mike, I would like to point out what is being overlooked in your reference to military mandates.
No one is forced or compelled to join the military. Enlistment in our armed forces is voluntary.
When a person enlists in the military they willingly submit to “The Chain of Command”.
The court did fail us......Roberts must go!
With this going into effect, except the result to include even more empty shelves in the Market Places, and corresponding higher prices.
