'USA Today' Howler: American Eagle Is 'Nazi Symbol.' Here's a Dollar, Buy a Clue.

It’s official, the useful idiots on the Left and never-Trumper clan have simply lost their damned minds. The American eagle on your money is now deemed a cancelable object because President Trump’s campaign store put an eagle on a tee-shirt that they claim, if you squint your eyes and look a thousand yards out there somewhere there’s a Nazi symbol.

To repeat: They’re now making an attempt to dirty-up or cancel the American eagle symbol that you see on your money.

Don’t roll your eyes and click away. Stick with me because things get hilarious from here.

And USA Today is happy to go along with the troll.

USA Today ‘Fact’ Check Uses Anti-Trump Group

The so-called fact-checker at the publication, Will Peebles, reports that Twitter trolls, Facebook users, and “The Lincoln Project” have contrived a story that a Trump campaign shirt is a Nazi symbol.

The similarity was first noticed, according to Forward, by two Twitter accounts, Bend the Arc: Jewish Action, described as a Jewish progressive group, and the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump group formed by Republicans.

“The President of the United States is campaigning for reelection with a Nazi symbol. Again,” Bend the Arc tweeted on July 1.

Several Facebook posts have noted the similarities, as well. One user noted, “Trump is now selling straight up nazi propaganda shirts.”

That’s right, the best-friend-Israel-ever-had-in-the-Oval-Office-since-Harry-Truman has now morphed from being a Russian secret agent to being a damned Nazi using a symbol that’s “is common in American politics” and is on your money.

The American Eagle is the American bald eagle, this country's national bird and symbol since 1782. As for the German eagle:

"Germany's coat of arms has included an eagle for 800 years - the Germanic tribes regarded the eagle as the bird of the god Odin. After Hitler came to power in 1933, he kept the Weimar eagle for two years before he replaced it with the Nazi emblem: a black eagle above an oak wreath, with a swastika at its centre. The eagle returned after the war, incorporated first into the coat of arms of the Federal Republic, and then, since 1990, as a symbol of the reunified Germany."

So both countries have a long and generally honorable association with the symbol. The one thing I note is that as you face the design, the German Eagle historically (going back to forever) faces right and the American eagle faces left. But it's hard, if not impossible, to know what or how much to make of that.

Fake news. Trump needs to shut it down and put stern controls on the media to prevent them from telling lies. Once his government controls the media, he can focus better on making America great again. We the people voted for that when we gave him a landslide victory in 2016 just like we will do in 2020 again.

Americans (the conservatives): the five females shown (including pelousy, as well) do not deserve to wear "eagle pins". The appropriate pin for them is the kalifornia condor...for the vultures that they are. The eagle is a regal symbol of our Country which displays the majestic exceptionalism of the United States of America.
