One Thousand Truckers can organize and move towards an objective within a half hour compared to a Military Division taking Forty Eight Hours to accomplish the same task running through chains of Command.
More irrational rage and ad hominems will not help... What happened? Did you wake up to find out that the US Truckers strike is not in place and may not happen... Some reports indicate it will not happen until March... What, I though you said it was underway? Miscommunications result from poor planning and lack of formalized leadership. Whose in charge? How many separate efforts are working on this issue... at counter purposes? Ever hear of a Chinese fire drill, this looks like one.
The rest of the world has check-in and we are what? Raising money for March ... what if March comes and no strike... will the money find its way home? Where is the central leadership needed to coordinate millions of Truckers' efforts?
See the links to the trucking industry sites I provided earlier... The US Truckers strike is everything but ready and active. It may yet happen, but it will take someone to jump in and amalgamate all the voices into one. Pres. Trump could do it .... the question is will he? Timing here is also important....striking while the Iron is hot is best.

Members of a truckers’ group calling itself StopTheTires2020 planned to shut down their trucks Wednesday to make a stand against President-elect Joe Biden’s “ban on fracking.”
Oregon trucker Jeremy Rewoldt, the organizer of StopTheTires2020, said the U.S. is a capitalist economy and oil is the fuel “she survives on.”
“The blue-collar workers are literally the ones that make the wheels turn,” Rewoldt wrote in a Facebook post. “Without truck drivers, this country could not survive for long.”
Biden has clarified that his proposal only opposes hydraulic fracking on federal lands.
The Facebook group, made up of truck drivers, members of the U.S. military and their families, along with Trump supporters, had more than 51,500 members early Wednesday.
One of the group’s first members, who goes by “Lowe Frank” on Facebook, said the group picked Veterans Day to boycott delivery of nonessential supplies to major U.S. cities “as a way to show support for President Trump.” Trump has not conceded the presidential election.
“Everyone in their hearts knows that Trump had [the election] stolen from him,” the group member told FreightWaves. “It is to honor our fallen military, our forgotten veterans and our truck driving veterans.”
According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s latest data, of the 3.5 million truck and delivery drivers, one in 10 is a military veteran, which is another reason why the StopTheTires group selected Wednesday to protest.

I would suggest you reread the anchor post in this discussion... it comes across as preaching and talking down to anyone who disagrees with its underlying premise... it appears to be debating novice's back door slam on those who disagree.
Question on the topic... Are the 3 million followers in Canada or the US? If in the US where are they? Are we discussing Canadian Drivers or US Driver. or both. If both then we need to differentiate them in our comments. I have not been following the US side that closely... where are the truckers in the USA... the convoy?
If you are going to make comments about the Truckers Strike... you'd better know what you are talking about and base it on industry sources... It turns out the only current organized truckers strike taking place in the US is in California. Seik drivers in California are protesting electronic logs. The rest is all chatter among a lot of different sources, independents, and union operators. As of today, there are no US Trucks in DC or in mass moving to DC... it may all turn out to be hype.
THERE IS NO CURRENT nationwide strike paralleling the one in Canada and several other nations worldwide... People are mistaken if they thnk there are thousands of trucks headed for Washington as we type. There are none on the way to DC. At least not based on several of the trucking industry sources I checked. I tried to get Marlene to check before she would step in it... it is quite possible that the strike will not occur... as several previous attempts failed to go nationally and Washington, DC has never been shut down by truckers strike. The closest the Truckers have come to shut down the country was in the 70s... several attempts in the '90s were also disappointments.
Here is a link to a video that demonstrates the misinformation regarding the USA and a Truckers strike...
Trucker strikes are difficult to organize and past attempts have had minimal impact. The effects of the latest efforts remain to be seen. Some social media posts say a strike would create a backup on the roads and possibly delay shipments to stores, warning people to stock up on supplies.

Marlene and Ilona, consider this please, "If the Colonel was toilet tissue, most everyone would revert back to corncobs and bush leaves."

Colonel the more you keep trying to bend people to your will, the more alone you will become, leading an army of nothing.
