For the administration, the botched  withdrawal marked the point at which the approval took  a dive and will likely not rebound as long as it is around. No, Americans don't point to giving up the base, leaving Americans and friends stranded, or arming the Taliban. Americans have tolerance for screw-ups. What disgusted Americans most and what we will never forget is the flippant, couldn't care less,                                                   "War is hell, get over it," attitude displayed by person in charge both during and after, symbolized by the fate of 13 Marines caught up in the chaos. The Commander-in-Chief not only took zero responsibility, but acted like the criticisms were only dust in the wind, or worse -- meddlesome gossip not worthy of the attention of one as powerful as he is. It is said that true character is revealed under pressure. Some have said it goes to show what a jerk is really is. Others take it a step further to the point the man simply does not understand responsibility, consequences, and accountability. No amount of warm and fuzzy speeches is going to change that.

  • There MUST be laws on the books to arrest this entire tyrantial administration up!! Why did they have the right to change our basic directions?

    • People elected Trump because they wanted a change.  President Trump promised to put the interests of America and the American people ahead of self interest of government and the people who influence government. The administration knows this. In my opinion, it is only pretending not to notice.
