Riots? What riots? Insurrection in American cities in 2020? Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.
Thus it is with the Stalinesque show trial that is the January 6 Committee. As my colleague Melissa Mackenzie illustrated yesterday, “the Democrats are running their committee like a criminal trial.” It is indeed blatantly unconstitutional and no one is attempting to stop them. Why?
What is particularly telling about the hysteria over January 6 is that infinitely worse riots took place across America in 2020 — a series of genuine and decidedly violent insurrections in the name of Black Lives Matter — and there is nary an investigation in sight.
So as January 6 of 2022 is upon us, let’s do a little compare and contrast as the hysteria about January 6, 2021, is whipped up in the liberal media.
There were five deaths in the Capitol riot. One, Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed woman, was shot to death by a Capitol police officer. The other four deaths included three who died of natural causes and one from a drug overdose. One of the fatalities, whose death was ruled as from natural causes, was a Capitol Hill police officer. Altogether there were 138 police officers injured, 73 of them from the Capitol Hill Police and 65 from Washington D.C.’s Metropolitan Police.
According to the Major Cities Chiefs Association, 574 riots took place across America between May 25 and July 31 of 2020 after the death of George Floyd. The report states that “more than 2,000 officers sustained injuries in the line of duty.” Say again, not 138 injured police officers but more than 2,000 police officers were injured — and not a blink from the January 6 Committee.
The MCCA also reported this, bold print for emphasis supplied:
In cities where violence did occur, assaults on police officers, looting, and arson were the most common criminal activities. Approximately, 72% of major city law enforcement agencies had officers harmed during the protests. This included nearly every agency that experienced at least one violent protest. In total, over the course of the civil unrest from May to July, more than 2,000 officers sustained injuries in the line of duty. One agency reported 50 officers being injured in a single week of protests. Another agency reported that 462 of their officers were injured during the protests in their jurisdiction.
Looting was also a common occurrence (2,385 instances), with 62% of major city law enforcement agencies indicating that at least one incident of looting occurred in their cities. This activity was primarily clustered during the first few days of protests. Of note, several agencies reported that in some instances, the looting appeared to be coordinated and organized. For example, some cities encountered ‘looting caravans’ that moved throughout different neighborhoods. One agency reported 115 commercial burglaries occurred in just one day. Two other agencies reported $927,000 worth of damage as a result of looting in each of their jurisdictions, and another agency reported a single looting event at a shopping mall that resulted in over $70 million in damage.
And speaking of damages done financially in these insurrections? Here’s the headline for those 2020 BLM riots per Axios: “Exclusive: $1 billion-plus riot damage is most expensive in insurance history.”

M.L., In this World there exists, and always has for whatever reason, personalities that will clash and argue even when agreement would serve the both best. Even in a hail of bullets the two will stand toe to toe and argue as to which direction the fire is coming from and the calibers and frequency. Apparently this is us. I know of no repair, no common grounds or solutions with the exception of best efforts not to engage one another. This I am willing to do and honestly wish you and yours a full and happy life.

As an original member of the Original Tea Party under which helped Mr. Trump because elected, I must in all sincerity express that "Then" has little to no resemblence to "Now" in context, or goal. This group concentrates the majority of discussions bantering either of "God's Will", " The Most Effective Para Military Organizational Response ", " Why all available options given to us will not work", and comparing battle experiences, scars and life's loses combined with bitter memories. It is agreeable that shared Thoughts and Ideas should be focused on an Objective rather than Individualist winning of tennis matches!

A house divided against itself cannot stand. Personnel attacks against each other only benefits the left. Remember the Tea Party is why Trump was elected. Let’s put away egos and pride and stay focused. Sharing our thoughts keeps us focused and centered.
You are kidding! Right? Without the 9/12 groups, tea party groups the people would still be ignorant of most of what is going on. It's because of the TP that people got their voice, they learned to speak up, speak out, question, and get more educated, involved in politics. This movement is the reason the little guys are marching, protesting, the reason we are talking here today. I spoke at many of the TP events way back when, they were organized and attended by the previously voiceless, not the best educated, but most certainly ready to learn. The little people, those in the shadows of the top educated, the elites, they were typical working Joes, they were the ones attending, they were the ones talking to their neighbors, their buddies, their families, they spread the word about corruption and wanting a change, they planted the seed that created the supporters of something different, they are the ones that became the thorn in the side of the left!
Some of his supporters may not have been involved in any of the TP groups, they may be latecomers, but if you asked most people why they are involved in politics, they would say the TP woke them up. They were all frustrated to the max, they we're looking for a solution and that's why Trump appealed to them, he spoke to them not at them, he wasn't afraid to say what they were thinking, he gave them a voice, they cheered him on, they gave him the WH......and he delivered! He did what he said he would and the people LOVE that, we never had that from a politician. He worked hard, didn't take any money for it, and accomplished more than most presidents can do or willing to do in two terms. People are crazy about him, want him back, you go out into the country and the signs are still up, new ones are popping up, his rallies are packed by tens of thousands even now, and those who grew from the TP will elect him again if he ends up running. The second time they were much greater in numbers than the first time, and the third time don't be surprised if even some democrats cast their vote for Trump......imagine how frustrated, disappointed, disillusioned they are! Go Brandon!
