socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden has a long history of uttering untruths, and his speech before a slimmed-down joint session of Congress on Wednesday constituted a continuation of that practice. Thankfully, relatively few Americans tuned in to watch him spin his yarn, as only 27 million viewed the speech. That total was dwarfed by Donald Trump in his first speech before Congress in 2017, when over 47 million watched. In fact, every one of Trump’s speeches to Congress was viewed by significantly more Americans than was socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s first. But back to socialist/scumbag/ liar-Biden’s fibbing.
Since The Washington Post recently announced that it will no longer maintain a database of fact-checks on socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden (because you can’t run cover for him if you’re keeping up with the volume of lies he utters), it’s been left to conservative media outfits to jump into the breach.
So, how bad were socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s lies? We’ll highlight three big ones on the economy, COVID, and guns.
As the Wall Street Journal’s James Freeman observed, the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration itself on Thursday morning was debunking “the economic fairy tale told by the president” via his own “government’s data release on Thursday morning.” One of socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s biggest lies was that he inherited an economy in crisis — what he claimed was “the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.” He then went on to tout how he has been responsible for “the economy [creating] more than 1.3 million new jobs in 100 days.” The truth is that from May to December of 2020, the economy under Trump’s leadership recovered 12.1 million jobs, and it was only that resilient because of his prior three years of outstanding stewardship.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s “savior of the economy” mythology is laid bare by the facts. Freeman notes, “Unemployment in the 1930s soared to roughly 25%. Since October of 2020 it’s been below 7%. By the time Mr. socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden was taking office in January it had fallen to 6.3%. The U.S. unemployment rate has been higher at some point in every decade since the 1930s, including for the entire first five years of the scumbag/liar-nObama/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration.”
Nevertheless, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden explicitly took credit for an economic recovery that began months before his election, much less his Oval Office occupancy. “Now, after just 100 days, I can report to the nation: America is on the move again. … America is rising anew. … After 100 days of rescue and renewal, America is ready to takeoff. … One hundred days ago, America’s house was on fire. We had to act.”
The facts? During the first quarter when socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden assumed office, the U.S. economy was already soaring, as 2020’s fourth quarter showed economic growth over 4%. The economy was bouncing back big time under Trump’s leadership, and America was not a “house on fire” — far from it. The economic fire, caused by lockdowns excused by a global pandemic, already had been largely put out and the restoration was well on its way. If anything, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden, throughout his 2020 campaign and even into his first 100 days has been trying to keep that fire burning. He persisted with backing lockdowns and mandates, peddling COVID panic and fear by criticizing governors who opened their economies, as well as continuing to wear a mask outside and on Zoom calls, even post-vaccination.
Speaking of vaccines, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden blatantly sought to deceive by taking credit (again) for them. socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden declared, “After I promised 100 million COVID-19 vaccine shots in 100 days, we will have provided over 220 million COVID shots in 100 days.” While 220 million shots is indeed true, Biden neglected to mention that multiple coronavirus vaccines were developed in record time under Trump’s Operation Warp Speed directive, and that by the time socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden took office nearly one million Americans were being vaccinated every day. In effect, everything to combat the pandemic was developed and put in place by his predecessor, and all Biden had to do was keep the ball rolling. Trump, not socialist/scumbag/ liar-Biden, deserves the lion’s share of the credit.
Then there were socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s lies on guns. “In the 1990s,” he boasted, “we passed universal background checks and a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines that hold 100 rounds that can be fired in a second.” Then came the lies: “We beat the NRA. Mass shootings and gun violence declined.” Actually, the “assault weapons ban” did nothing to lower “gun violence” — a data point we have repeatedly noted. In fact, “gun violence” decreased after the “assault weapons ban” ended. socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden also erroneously claimed, “I need not tell anyone this, but gun violence is an epidemic in America.” Not according to the data — homicides with firearms have been steadily decreasing over the past 50 years, while American gun ownership has significantly increased over that same span.
Again, these were but a few of the many untruths uttered by socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden on Wednesday evening. His revisionist history was chock-full of misinformation and missing context, and it’s aimed solely at creating a fantasy world wherein he and the Democrat Party have been busy “saving the country.” But from what? The true answer is that they have been “saving” the country from Liberty. ~The Patriot Post
The Left’s Vile Attack on Tim Scott
Before we launch into the Left’s racist attack on South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, we should pay homage to the guy who made it all possible: Jack Dorsey.
Yep, Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter. Because that vile cesspool of his, that depraved netherworld of hot takes and haters, allowed the racist attacks to trend on its site for nearly 12 hours.
Twitter eventually blocked the phrase “Uncle Tim” from appearing in its “Trending” section, but the platform was noncommittal about whether its racist users will be banned until their tweets are deleted.
“I can confirm that we are blocking the phrase you referenced from appearing in Trends,” a Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner yesterday. “We want Trends to promote healthy conversations on Twitter. This means that at times, we may not allow or may temporarily prevent content from appearing in Trends until more context is available. This includes Trends that violate The Twitter Rules.”
Ah, The Twitter Rules. The rules that censor Republican presidents, censor damaging news stories about Democrat presidential candidates, and allow the likes of scumbag-LeBron James to dox and threaten with death the occasional cop.
Mollie Hemingway called the enablers out almost immediately: “Twitter is choosing to trend a racist attack from the left on Sen. Tim Scott, the black Republican senator from South Carolina,” she tweeted late Wednesday night.
Scott’s high crime, of course, was to challenge the Left’s narrative that America is an irredeemably racist nation. “Hear me clearly,” Scott said Wednesday night. “America is not a racist country. It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination, and it’s wrong to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.”
This didn’t sit well with radical leftists, who’d just heard socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden soothingly tell them that “the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism,” and that “we have a real chance to root out systemic racism that plagues American life in many other ways.”
Scott no doubt also triggered Democrats with this inconvenient truth, which included a laudatory mention of their Bête Orange: “This administration inherited a tide that had already turned,” he said. “The coronavirus is on the run. Thanks to Operation Warp Speed and the Trump Administration, our country is flooded with safe and effective vaccines.”
Long-unhinged leftist Keith Olbermann, who’s been searching for a steady gig ever since his glory days at ESPN, fairly epitomized the woke, white, paternalist crowd: “Senator,” he tweeted, “anybody calls you the N-word is a friend of Trump’s. We progressives refer to you as a victim of Stockholm Syndrome.”
Wow, Keith. Project much?
Tim Scott does NOT represent black people,“ tweeted a white woman named Charmaine. "He knows he is not liked, admired or respected in the greater black community. Saying there is no racism in [America] is ignorant. It’s part of the Republican lie. [America’s] racist [sic] are just loving Uncle Tim.”
Iowa Law School professor Andy Grewal masterfully summed up these race-based attacks and others like them: “So, people are disproving Tim Scott’s ‘not a racist country’ claim by … being racist? This place is bonkers.”
Scott, responding to the tsunami of hate, said, “It was upsetting, certainly. What they want for us is for us to stay in a little, small corner and not go against the tide that they think is America. Their America and my America aren’t the same America, if, in fact, they think that discriminating is the fastest way to end discrimination.”
Slotting Tim Scott to respond to socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden was a masterstroke. Not only is he an outstanding spokesman for conservative principles, but he also has a gift for ferreting out and exposing the vile, hateful, intolerant Left.

Of course, that’s a tongue-in-cheek statement. U.S. spending has long been in the form of IOUs to various bondholders around the globe. But one can’t argue the fact that socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden, who likes to lie about “Jim Crow on steroids,” is creating his own special variety of Keynesian economics on steroids by ratcheting up new deficits by the trillions.
In his address to a joint session of part of Congress Wednesday night, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden announced another jaw-dropping $1.8 trillion for the “American Families Plan.” That’s on top of $1.9 trillion for not-COVID relief and $2.3 trillion more for a hazily defined “infrastructure” plan where most of the money comes nowhere close to a construction project, shovel-ready or otherwise.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s government by executive order has coincided with decreasing unemployment brought by a reopening economy, and his popularity exceeds President Donald Trump’s primarily because the Leftmedia tells a story of “calm after the storm.” But few enterprising members of the media have bothered to question how this spending spree will be paid for.
The socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden/lowlife/liar-Harris cabal claims that a lot of revenue will be raised by soaking the billionaires who have ostensibly prospered over the last year by restoring the pre-Trump 39.6% tax rate for high-income earners and treating their capital gains as ordinary income, which would essentially double their current 20% tax rate on investments they sell. But not only will that fail to raise enough funding for the progressives’ ambitious schemes, it will place the economy in another free fall as private investment dries up. Meanwhile, other government meddling will create a surge in energy costs and discourage productive enterprise so as not to offend the “woke.”
However, if your philosophy is to never waste a crisis because the uncertainty allows you to consolidate more power and control, we are on the verge of a golden era. As the Wall Street Journal editorial board presciently opines, “The cost [of socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s economic policy], while staggering, isn’t the only or even the biggest problem. The destructive part is the way the plan seeks to insinuate government cash and the rules that go with it into all of the major decisions of family life. The goal is to expand the entitlement state to make Americans rely on government and the political class for everything they don’t already provide.”
Bingo.
We’ve already destroyed three generations of urban (mostly minority) poor by creating a caste of government-dependent serfs who are given barely enough to survive thanks to direct cash payments and subsidies but not enough to prosper. Yet they fearfully clutch the one straw that they have, and that’s government dependency. Indeed, starvation is a good motivator, and sometimes the opportunity for a free meal is what draws this group to the polls — assuming they vote the way those supplying the freebies want them to vote. Judging by the election data, it’s a successful program for those who thirst for power.
Sadly, this entitlement mentality is nothing new, nor is it confined to urban poor — even at Tea Party events you could find well-matured people who opposed tax increases but cried, “Don’t you touch my Medicare and Social Security!” Of course, there’s a big difference between earned entitlements that you pay into and unearned entitlements that you merely receive, but the end result is similar. Having ensnared many among our seasoned citizens and urban poor into dependence on Uncle Sam, the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden-led government is working hard to expand the neediness into the working class — at least the ones still willing to work. (Perhaps we would be closer to full employment if being out of work wasn’t so lucrative thanks to several of the China Virus relief programs.)
At this point, absent a significant course correction in the 2022 midterms and 2024 presidential election, the question may be only one of when the house of cards finally collapses. ~The Patriot Post
ALL Murders Are ‘Hate Crimes’
The Arbery death received little attention at the time it occurred in February of 2020, and when it was picked up by the Demos’ Leftmedia propagandists three months later, it was eclipsed by the death of George Floyd in May.
Ahead of Floyd’s death, we covered the Arbery case, noting at the time that it was turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation when the Georgia prosecutor who would have handled the case recused himself after declaring the case a “justifiable homicide.” Subsequently, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr asked for the Department of Justice to take over the case in order to ensure “a complete and transparent review of how the Ahmaud Arbery case was handled from the outset.”
Though a Georgia grand jury did indict the three men, that case will be superseded by the federal case.
I noted in our original analysis of this case, “Given the racially charged nature of this incident now, DoJ should review the case to determine if there is evidence of a ‘hate crime,’ though as I have written previously, all capital crimes are hate crimes, and differentiating crimes by intent serves only partisan political ends.”
Though Arbery had a criminal history known to the man who shot him (who was a former police officer), that was not justification for his death. As I also noted at the time, “Arbery was unarmed, which is to say making a case for the use of deadly force in self defense is unlikely.”
But the key point here is, again, all capital crimes are “hate crimes” — not just those that meet the DoJ’s political standard limiting “hate” to crimes “motivated by bias against race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or disability.” That is an absurdly broad standard for classifying “hate,” and I would add that every murder deprives a victim of his or her civil rights.
More to the point is the disparity in how “hate crimes” are covered. As I also noted regarding the Arbery case, there was virtually no political or media outcry regarding another hate crime.
According to the Delaware State Police, on 8 May of last year (while all attention was focused on Arbery’s death), a 29-year-old black man, a “Black Lives Matter” activist, murdered an elderly white couple from Elkton, Maryland, while they were visiting the grave of their son at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Lidia Marino, 85, was deceased at the crime scene. Her husband, Paul Marino, 86, an Army veteran, died of his injuries a day later.
According to law enforcement sources at the time, the perpetrator had a scoped rifle and stalked the elderly couple, shot them, and then fired on the first responders. The assailant was killed by police six hour later after a manhunt and gunfight. Despite the fact that a black man targeted and murdered an elderly white couple, the Delaware attack was not even a blip on the mass-media radar. ~The Patriot Post
Gone With the Wind Power
These days, so-called green energy is ostensibly becoming more popular. An increasing number of homes across the country sport solar panels on their rooftops and the landscape is dotted with giant windmills. The panels power a home with the sunshine of a glorious spring day, and the turbines turn gusts of wind into cheap, environmentally friendly energy. But is it effective?
The question has always been whether or not green energy could meet the demands of our country while keeping costs low.
The claim is that solar and wind will become viable if we can just get enough people on board. Consequently, tax credits have made alternative energy sources more tempting for those who want to cut ties with power companies while “saving the environment” from fossil fuel production.
As it turns out, however, the only thing green about “green energy” is the amount of money wasted on its development.
Now, many people are pushing back against wind and solar. The opposition is due to many factors including aesthetics, impacts on wildlife, the high cost of installing transmission wires, the unreliability of weather-dependent power systems, and the negative effects of wind turbines on human health.
Other concerns include the range of materials needed to expand wind and solar such as steel, copper, and rare earth elements, not to mention the significant amount of rural land needed for wind turbines.
No problem. We already have clean energy that is reliable, efficient, safe, and carbon-free.
“Nuclear plants are much more productive than wind turbines or solar panels, producing much more electricity per unit of installed capacity,” writes Isaac Orr of the Center for the American Experiment. “The additional bonus of nuclear power is that humans control when the power is generated and we are not subject to the whims of the weather. This makes each nuclear, coal, and natural gas power plant much more valuable to system reliability than wind or solar facilities.”
Orr adds, “Claims that energy policies designed to promote wind and solar are creating a panacea of so-called "clean energy” jobs are also highly misleading. The vast majority of these jobs are not in the wind and solar industry, they are jobs in the HVAC industry and jobs installing and manufacturing energy-efficient windows and doors.“
These are all inconvenient truths, and here’s another: America’s solar panels are often manufactured by Uyghur slave laborers in China. Moreover, to meet the rising demand, Chinese solar panel factories rely on carbon-pumping energy sources. Those same factories were accused of dumping toxic wastewater into nearby waters.
But we don’t have to look to China to see the environmental (or humanitarian) impact of solar panel production. Here at home, solar panels are producing toxic waste in our landfills. Wind energy doesn’t fare any better.
So much for "clean” energy.
But it doesn’t stop there. The move to embrace “green energy” is actually making electricity costs higher. In 2019, Michael Shellenberger, founder and president of Environmental Progress, wrote, “Solar and wind require that natural gas plants, hydro-electric dams, batteries or some other form of reliable power be ready at a moment’s notice to start churning out electricity when the wind stops blowing and the sun stops shining.”
A study at the University of Chicago found that renewable energy plants are typically located away from centers of population, further increasing the cost of energy transmission.
In spite of all this inconvenient reality, proponents of green energy make it seem as though they’ve stumbled onto some amazing new discovery, even if the idea for tapping into wind and solar goes back more than a century.
Indeed, it’s a very old idea that’s never fully panned out. Now that we’ve given it a real try, it’s becoming clear that we should leave the wind and sun for a day at the beach, not for meeting the energy needs of a nation of 331 million people. ~The Patriot Post
Giuliani Reacts to FBI Raid
Rudy Giuliani, former personal lawyer to Donald Trump and former mayor of New York City, was the subject of an early-morning FBI raid Wednesday, as our Thomas Gallatin wrote yesterday. Giuliani joined Tucker Carlson last night on Fox News to talk about that raid, and he offered some fascinating details.
After being woken at 6 a.m. by a loud “bang,” Giuliani said seven FBI agents were at his door with a search warrant. “I looked at the warrant, and I said, ‘You know, this is extraordinary because I offered to give these to the government and talk it over with them for two years.’”
“I don’t know why they have to do this,” Giuliani said, though he noted that the agents “seemed somewhat apologetic.” Indeed, he added, “They were very, very professional and very gentlemanly.”
Still, if it’s true that he’d spent the last two years making overtures to the FBI regarding this material, the rationale for the raid is, from a legal standpoint, a mystery. Politically, of course, it’s a no-brainer. This is socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s Social Justice Department, after all.
The investigation relates to whether Giuliani violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) by lobbying the U.S. government on behalf of Ukraine. As Gallatin pointed out yesterday, “This is the same charge the FBI used to go after former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.”
Giuliani says the charge is completely bogus. “The search warrant is on one single failure to file for representing a Ukrainian national or official that I never represented,” he said. “I have never represented a Ukrainian national or official before the United States government. I’ve declined it several times. I’ve had contracts in countries like Ukraine. In the contract is a clause that says I will not engage in lobbying or foreign representation. I don’t do it because I felt it would be too compromising.”
You know who probably should have registered as a foreign agent? liar-Hunter Biden. Yet the FBI had no interest in material related to him.
“At the end of the search, when they had taken about, I would say, seven or eight electronic items of mine,” Giuliani explained, “they weren’t taking the three hard drives, which of course, are electronic devices. They just mimic the computer. I said, ‘Well, don’t you want these?’ And they said, ‘What are they?’ I said, ‘Those are Hunter Biden’s hard drives.’ And they said, ‘No, no, no.’”
Giuliani found that bizarre. “I mean, the warrant required them to take it,” he explained. Yet three times they refused. The agents were “completely content to rely on my word that these were liar-Hunter Biden’s hard drives,” he said. “I mean, they could have been Donald Trump’s. They could have been Vladimir Putin’s. They could have been anybody’s.”
He also highlighted the very absurdity of an early-morning raid. “I’ve known about this for two years, Tucker,” he added. “I could have destroyed the evidence. The evidence is exculpatory. It proves the president and I and all of us are innocent. They are the ones who are committing — it’s like projection. They are committing the crimes.”

Congressman Jim Jordan Sounds Off on Fauci and socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s First 100 Days
In an exclusive interview with ranking member of the judiciary committee, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on Thursday morning, he gave his reaction to the president’s address before Congress the night before, President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s first 100 days in office and Dr. Anthony Fauci’s inconsistent mask guidance damaging his credibility.
Adriana Cohen: “What’s your reaction to President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s speech before Congress last night?”
Jordan: “A bunch of socialism delivered in slow motion. … In his first 100 days, we saw crisis at the border, Democrat’s readiness to pack the Supreme Court, making Washington, D.C., a state, ending the filibuster, plans to gut the 2nd Amendment, giving amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants… just to name a few of Democrats' big government socialist agenda.”
Cohen: “President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden says his American Jobs Plan will add millions of ‘good paying jobs.’ Haven’t we seen this movie before with the former scumbag/liar-nObama/socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration promising shovel-ready jobs that never materialized? If you recall, even former President scumbag/liar-nObama admitted during a 2011 meeting in June with his Council on Jobs and Competitiveness that ‘Shovel-ready wasn’t as… uh… shovel-ready as we expected.’”
Jordan: “Yes, they promised shovel-ready jobs that were never ready. … Today, the current admin halted the Keystone XL pipeline, killing thousands of blue-collar jobs. Talk to the energy sector guys who’ve lost their jobs or those working on the pipeline and ask them if Democrats are the party supporting Union workers. No, it’s the former Trump administration and the GOP that created construction jobs and increased blue collar wages.”
Cohen: “Last Sunday, White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Fauci said COVID-19 transmission risk for people engaging in outdoor activities is ‘minuscule,’ especially for vaccinated individuals. But yesterday, he told ‘TODAY’ show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie during an interview that kids should still wear masks outdoors. Given that the data has shown kids are at very low risk of being hospitalized or experiencing severe side effects from the coronavirus, why is the government continuing to make kids suffer wearing masks when we know the risk of outdoor transmission is very low?”
Jordan: “Dr. Fauci has been all over the place. Americans are so frustrated. First, he said no masks at the outset of the pandemic. Then, he said one mask. Then, two. Now, he’s saying we don’t need masks outside, except for children who are at very low risk from the virus. What I’m most concerned with is Americans’ First Amendment liberties that have been attacked by the government over the past year. Your rights to free speech, the right to practice one’s faith, go to work, school and other vital liberties.”
He added, “Last night, President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden said ‘we should choose truth over fear.’ Yet, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says those who are fully vaccinated can gather indoors without a mask, but if you noticed the President, his Vice President lowlife/liar-Kamala Harris, Democratic House Speaker scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and others in the congressional chamber were all wearing masks despite being vaccinated. That’s succumbing to fear, not the truth.”
Jordan is correct considering the CDC said Wednesday that approximately 142.7 million Americans have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and roughly 98 million citizens have been fully vaccinated. A remarkable and historic accomplishment thanks in large part to the former Trump administration, which implemented Operation Warp Speed. That, along with the pharmaceutical community, brought the lifesaving vaccines to market in record time.
“We need to let Americans get back to freedom, get back to work, church, school and get on with their lives,” Jordan said.
