In “normal” times, the practice of medicine has many challenges, some from within and some from outside the profession. If you let it, much of your daily practice follows specialty guidelines, insurance company criteria, hospital formularies, and other annoyances. None of those entities have any liability when it comes to our patients. For the most part, liability lies with the treating physician.
Each specialty plays a particular role in a patient’s care and specialists often view issues from different angles while wearing their tunnel-vision glasses. For instance, some physicians view elevated cholesterol as an indicator to assess other potential underlying medical issues, while a cardiologist will just write a prescription for a statin drug, just as a cat reflexively chases a mouse.
What changed overnight and across the board, was an anti-science attitude across all specialties to everything related to COVID. A viral infection is not something requiring government management, rather, its encounter is part of a physician’s daily medical practice. The government has seemingly accomplished what medical insurers, medical boards, and hospitals tried, but had not yet succeeded at: complete mind control of physicians. And with that, the last vestige of respect I had for my profession died.
I’m often in attendance at medical meetings where the fine points of immunotherapy and monoclonal antibodies are discussed as part of the treatment for cancer patients. For physicians, it is their version of science in regard to a drug’s indications, mechanisms of action, dosing, management of side effects, and the studies justifying one drug or combination over another, the latter often supported by questionable statistical analysis.
After the science-lite discussion ends, the personal chitchat begins regarding COVID and vaccines, and the point is reached where any remaining rationality becomes akin to that heard among nursery school attendees.

Ever since doctors began to work for the hospitals as employees (different than having hospital privileges) doctors have to go wit hospital protocol on everything. They don't think for themselves, they go by the book or they are gone. Like with Covid, if the hospital tell them to use one drug over anothe, that is it, even if the doctors KNOWS there is something better, they don't dare, they don't want to lose their jobs.
Big pharma already has owned the medical schools for decades and are teaching them how to disperse drugs, push more of them! I sat in on a meeting of rheumatologists over a decade ago, and all they discussed were the drugs and their combination, diet, exercise, alternative treatments never came up. Look at the ads on TV, all about drugs. They are drugging the entire country, selling everything they can and trying to keep the patient alive as long as they can. While we are murdering babies in the womb, we are trying to save extreme premature babies at any and all cost, regardless what effects they will suffer with form having so many drugs and not fully developed before birth.......as long as they can milk it. Medicine became a machine a long time ago, in bed with big pharma and now with he government. America is so over medicated that if you are not on something by the time you leave highschool......you are weird!
The US Medical Profession has sold out to the all mighty dollar... profit has replaced quality care and 'Do no harm' has been replaced by treatment protocols that fail to cure and end up bankrupting the patient. Our Medical System is the most expensive in the world and ranks at the bottom of the developed world in providing quality care. America's Medical Institutions have become profit centers, not wellness providers.
I am really beginning to wonder about anything I hear from my doctor. I have started seeing a Naturopath. You know what - I am feeling better than I have in several years. I hope to be able to getg off many of the medications I have been taking such as high blood pressure and diabetic. There is a place for the medical profession, but I beliee many doctors have overstepped and should be viewed with skepticism.
I am looking for a new cardiologist... on my last trip to see my current cardiologist he tried to pressure me to take the COVID Vaccine even though I already have an irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure, I challenged his advice citing the high rate of cardiac complications from the Vaccine including irregular heart rate, stroke and cardiac arrest.... he simply rolled his eyes and stated I needed to get the vaccine.
