A professor of medicine at Stanford University has warned that the only way to fully eliminate COVID-19 from the population will be to effectively destroy society itself, a price tag he said was too high for the goal of beating the deadly disease.
Jay Bhattacharya recently made that grim pronouncement during a virtual roundtable with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and several other public health experts. Bhattacharya over the last few months has been an outspoken critic of many of the ongoing COVID-19 lockdowns and mitigation measures that were first imposed in March of this year.
Speculating on the possibility of getting to "zero COVID," a scenario he said may not even be "technically feasible," Bhattacharya said the cost would be "so high ... that it's not worth it."
"[W]e know that we're going to have to destroy our society in order to get it," he said. "We’ll have to get rid of all of our freedoms; we'll have to make sure that very few people interact with each other."

Sounds like the Chinese may have underlying motives for releasing COVID 19 ... destroying our economy and thus our military and power to influence world events fits right into the Communist International and former chairman Mao's goals for making Communism the dominant world authority. We must ask ... Was this a covert Biological Attack on the US or simply the error of some technicians in China? China seems to be doing very well ... could they have a vaccine or proven cure? Before one releases a BIO-WEAPON... a cure or vaccine is always available to protect those using the weapon from engaging in their destruction.
And this is a professor of Medicine at Stanford. A well educated advanced degreed person, with an IQ to match probably, who is totally ignorant concerning the subject he should know best.
I am not a scientist. But it doesn't take a scientist to discern a pile of sh-t from one who is. To eliminate this virus one must first determine what caused it. And that is widely known and published. It is not a secret. Public health experts engaged in a roundtable with the Governor of Florida should certainly be aware of what causes these deadly diseases. If they don't, then how can they be considered as experts?
When people market fruit bats, horseshoe bats, pangolins, pigs, and monkeys as food for human beings, then it ultimately will cause disease, and some highly contagious lethal ones as well as poor health, heart attacks, and other vital organ failures in the human body. Why don't these experts announce this?
One reason is economical. Major industries raise and market such animals for consumption. Big dollar companies. In China. And to a lesser degree, even in the United States, and throughout the larger part of the world.
Another reason is that it is Biblical. Leviticus 11 tells man what is good to eat, and what is not. How else could we know if it were not revealed by God?. We couldn't, and we wouldn't.
Read the Bible. Then you will know what to purchase for food. One will be a lot healthier as a result. And diseases like Covid-19 could be prevented.
