The so-called "vigilante system" has never gone away in most of the free and sovereign States in our constitutional republic. Citizens have been always been and are still responsible for their own safety and protection against "enemies foreign and domestic"; that is the basic underlying principle behind the 2nd Amendment for all of our history. Unfortunately, many citizens have abdicated their duty to support and participate in the maintenance of law and order in their respective neighborhoods. The best neighborhoods are the ones where the "first responders" to any disruption of peace, law and order are the citizens themselves, not the law breakers.
All are equal under the Law and the Law is Emotionless and Blind for the purpose of Equity for all.

One of my old mentors once told me to "Mean what you say, say what you mean, but don't say it mean." Members of the legal profession must first take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and the rule of law, and also so act in the best interests of their clients. That means that they should always be civil, respectful and truthful in their dealings with clients, defendants and those who work in the civil and criminal courts. When those interests compete with each other is when the true character of any lawyer is revealed for all to see. If we cannot honestly and sincerely use our courts to decide on the side of equal justice under the law for everyone, then there will be no justice for anyone.
Fuck "lawsuits".
accomplishes nothing except enrich the lawyers!
