Over the past week, Washington D.C implemented draconian COVID-19 policies designed to force the progressive left's public health regimen on tourists and citizens.
Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a third mask mandate on Monday and followed up with vaccine passports for a host of venues on Wednesday. Residents and visitors who, for various reasons, have chosen to forgo COVID-19 vaccines will no longer be able to visit restaurants, bars, gyms, events and meeting spaces.
Starting in March, Bowser will require students to be vaccinated to attend public and private schools, effectively destroying parental choice regarding children’s healthcare.
Home Rule is a legislative carveout granted to the District of Columbia that allows the city to govern itself by electing a city government with a mayor, city council, and various bureaucratic agencies. Congress first granted D.C Home Rule in 1973, devolving their constitutionally outlined power to govern D.C to the residents of Washington.
Since 1973, Home Rule has been an unmitigated disaster that has subjected the capital to crises of crime, corruption, and unhinged progressive activism. Though in steep competition with crack-smoking crook Marion Barry for distinction as worst mayor, Muriel Bowser's administration may soon surpass all prior D.C infamy.
Mayor Bowser began in 2020 by forcing the city into some of the strictest lockdowns in the nation, not fully re-opening D.C's businesses until this past summer. The result was catastrophe.

The Three patients were admitted with the newest mutation of the mildest Covid mutation. Remember the insert of Covid 19, remove all deaths with "Contributing Factors including Heart Disease, Obesity and Diabetes", and ask ourselves " Why does our governments want to destroy Our Nation and Kill its Citizens?" (Hint, the answer is not for the Profit of the Pharmaceutical Companies.)

Communism never thinks past that level. At that point, the very few super rich, will control the masses of super poor. This is not possible under a true capitalism.
hThe problem on the RIGHT is that they allow this sort of illegal mandate by the left to go UNCHALLENGED IN THE STREETS of America... it does no good to phone, write or even visit our reps... they will simply ignore the individual. However if millions end up in downtown DC shutting it down, blocking entrances, and occupying public buildings in peaceful protest they would stop... or become unenforceable.
We need leadership and an organization capable of mounting massive street smart protests of these sorts of illegal actions... We also need several thousand lawyers to aid in filing mountains of civil lawsuits against the agents and agencies engaged in these illegal acts. However, the organization and response to such gross usurpation of law and authority requires a well-funded operation with the staff and resources needed to be an effective agent of peaceful recourse.
You assume people could get into DC. Something like you mention takes coordination, and they would know the people are coming. How long do they last without food, water, and potties, plus no shelter?
The issues you raise are problems that require PLANNING and COORDINATION by the leaders of such a movement... and there certainly are ways to enter DC and to bring in the support needed. It becomes a solvable logistics problem requiring good advanced planning. For example, one can rent local warehousing and portable storage to stage logistics in advance... clandestinely pre-stocking logistics to provide long-term resupply. That is why I said it is expensive to mount such operations.. liberty is not cheap.
Entire armies can operate for days if not weeks without external support... smaller units have operated for months without external support. One would have to seal off Washington, DC proper to cut off any mass demonstration... the 10 square miles that is DC proper and a minimum of another 10 to 20 square miles would need to be shut down entirely... cutting off private residences and businesses from needed local life support.
The dirty dems destroy everything they touch, deliberately I might add, because they hate the rule of law. Their party should be abolished and they should be in prison.
